Hampton tanks one more attack and finishes off Rale! Still no omniboost though. Anyway, Boshi shouldn't have much trouble finishing off Hampton at this point, but I have no idea how he'll deal with Chelsea waiting in the wings...
"For a second I thought that you said that you know a way Boshi can defeat Chelsea, Its hopeless now." Sending out Boshi the Shellos "Shellos, shell shellos. Shellos los shellos shell!" (Good game, I suppose. At least we learn something new! Let's hope a miracle happen.) Earth Power -> Earth Power -> Harden
"How can we teach the people if they do not know and respect us? We must exist above ground as long as they allow, and when we are forced to go underground, the message will already have been put across to the people. Our activities on the surface will necessarily be shortlived."

Boshi unleashes terrifying doubly super effective attacks! Which...really don't do that much damage. Wow Hampton is bulky. A careful study of the damage formula reveals that a Muddy Water that hit would have done a little more, since STAB would make up for the reduction in the damage multiplier against such a large defense stat. Hampton retaliates with Metal Burst, which is right up there with Bide in the category of moves that you never see or use in cartridge battles but need to be watched out for in BBP. And then Boshi pauses to increase his defense for some reason, as Hampton nails him with a special move. Go figure.

And Hampton finally falls! I'm very amused by the crit Boshi got on the very last action. Not sure what was up with using Earth Power A1 and Muddy Water A3 though? Muddy Water is the one with a chance to miss and Earth Power is the one that just barely misses out on the immediate KO.
