What sets Ferroseed apart from other entry hazard setters such as Mudsdale and Froslass is Leech Seed, giving it a form of recovery and wearing down switch-ins that could take advantage of it at the same time. Ferroseed can also check entry hazard removers like Alolan Sandslash and Cryogonal lacking Hidden Power Fire much more reliably with its typing and immunity to Toxic.
