FILL IN THE BLANK
ART COMING SOON (MAYBE)

Welcome everyone! I figured it would be fun to start off the new year with a new and exciting project!

Fill In The Blank takes teams submitted by YOU! (via DMing me here or on Discord) and showcases them to the public, but with a twist...One or more of the Pokémon are missing and it is YOUR job to figure out what the Pokémon is!

Each week, I will post a team, along with a little blurb about it provided by the submitter, that is missing a key member or two and you guys must "fill in the blank" with your submissions! After a few days, there will be a voting stage to determine what you guys think is the answer! Points will be awarded to the one who gets the most votes at the end of the voting stage as well as the one who gets the missing Pokémon. If the one that gets the most votes is also the missing Pokémon, then it would be a clean sweep for that user!

Tornadus @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 244 HP / 136 SpA / 108 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
- Bleakwind Storm
- Tailwind
- Taunt
- Sunny Day / Protect

:tornadus: Team needs speed control since its hyper offensive for opposing tailwind and weather. Taunt helps the team deal with trick room. Sunny Day can contend with other weathers and also buff Entei's sacred fire.

:sv/raging-bolt:
Raging Bolt @ Scope Lens
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 248 HP / 76 Def / 44 SpA / 72 SpD / 68 Spe
Tera Type: Grass
Modest Nature
- Thunderclap
- Dragon Pulse
- Dragon Cheer
- Thunderbolt

:raging-bolt:the post above is probably the one, but imma throw my hat into the ring. i chose raging bolt due to its dragon cheer support and contribution of prio spam via thunderclap

My guess

:sv/ursaluna:

Ursaluna @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Facade
- Headlong Rush
- Swords Dance
- Protect

Ursaluna is incredibly slow, but loves being on these kinds of teams because you click espeed and then win. Guts also punishes attempts to paralyze or wisp pokemon on this team. It's also slow enough that can function as a way to handle certain threats in the event of trick room. This team has 2 pokemon with espeed anyways, so this just seems like a good fit.

:SV/Indeedee-F:
Indeedee-F (F) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Psychic Surge
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick Room
- Follow Me
- Helping Hand
- Psyshock

HrrrrDrrrr I see Deoxys therefore the last remaining mon must be Indeedee because Psychic Terrain + Expanding Force on Deo-A goes BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. The team having mons that can't use their priority as a result of you setting up your own Psychic Terrain is irrelelvant. Psychic Terrain + Expanding Force off of 180 SpA is always the ANSWER. Dark types and Wide Guard are not real and they can't hurt you!

EDIT: It has come to my attention that you can actually view the team minus the missing mon. However I will still be sticking to my answer.

I'm not too good at PIC but here's my guess I guess.
:Ogerpon-Wellspring: (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Knock Off
- Play Rough
- U-turn

Finishes a Grass/Fire/Water core, gives STAB Knock Off to Chien-Pao, a second U-Turner, and Play Rough utility is cool.

And with 6 votes HiZo's :ursaluna: is the winner!

However, the actual Pokemon was... :empoleon:
1000008149.jpg
Now I wanna bring to you an AAA team that is never gonna go out of style right UT?
:zapdos-galar::azelf::swampert::mandibuzz::corviknight::poke ball:
This team is a general balance team with Swampert, Corviknight, and Mandibuzz forming a super solid defensive backbone. Gapdos provides wallbreaking power while Azelf is amazing speed control.
Submissions end February 2nd!

empoleon what-.
anyways gonna be stealing one of gia's ideas
:SV/Landorus-Therian:
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earthquake
- Weather Ball
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
while this does mean if that the intimidate corv dies pao just fucking owns this team Landorus-T has some merits that could make it fit well here, firstly U-turn fits in with the Pivot Spam type of Team and the extra addition of having some way to setup entry hazards can be appreciated aswell, this can also help deal with stuff like Prim Sea and switch into RegenVest Swampert if needed

Gonna go ahead and guess barraskewda.

:sv/barraskewda:
Barraskewda @ Choice Band
Ability: Primordial Sea
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Liquidation
- Close Combat
- Flip Turn
- Aqua Jet

Supports breaking stuff with zapdos-galar and helps pivot spam with azelf as well as adding a fire check.

:Sandy-shocks:
Sandy Shocks @ Leftovers
Ability: Hadron Engine
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Earth Power
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
Good speed, strong offense, access to a volt switch, rocks, and the ability to reset terrain all pack in one (admittedly frail) package.

:Sv/gouging-fire:
Gouging Fire @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake
- Morning Sun

Not sure if i'm doing this right, but I think GOUGING FIRE would be a great addition to the team. Supports Gapdos, setting up on Pecharunt, Corviknight and also does well into the things that Swampert struggles with, like any random Grass move pokemon like Heletrode, GigaDrain Volc, Solar Beam Iron Moth and SFLO Deo-S Energy Ball. Gouging fire forces WBB pokemon like Mandibuzz and Skarmory, but Gapdos shreds them. If its an Intim/Fluffy mon, then Gouging goes to town.

You can choose what set you want, MGLO is imo more consistent but Deso Land gives more healing and utility being able to shut down water moves. Earthquake over Outrage, because it threatens PrimSea Primarina, WBB Dengo/Heatran/Gambit and beats other Gouging at +1.

:sv/gholdengo:
Gholdengo @ Life Orb/Leftovers/Heavy Duty Boots/Choice Scarf/Choice Specs
Ability: Magic Guard/Earth Eather/Well Baked Body
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot/Thunder Wave/Recover/Trick
- Steel Beam/Make It Rain
- Shadow Ball/Hex
- Psyshock/Thunderbolt/Focus Blast/Dazzling Gleam

Im not 100% on the specific set due to the quantity of viable sets for it, but I do know that UT likes to use this mon. This guy can hit the fairy/psychics and the other physical walls that try to stop Zapdos-G.

I have a few ideas: Gholdengo (already up here), terrak (unlikely but who knows)

But I'm going with the only correct answer,
:sv/talonflame:
Unnerf Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Swords Dance
- Flare Blitz / Taunt

I think its either Gouging Fire or Iron Hands, this team doesn't have many Corv counters. I'm gonna go with Iron Hands.

(If there's a slash, it means I think its the second most likely possibility.)
Iron Hands @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard / Adaptability / Iron Fist
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Supercell Slam / Wild Charge / Thunder Punch
- Drain Punch / Close Combat
- Earthquake / Ice Punch
- Swords Dance

:archaludon:
Archaludon @ Leftovers
Ability: Primordial Sea
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Electro Shot
- Draco Meteor
- Body Press

the team lacks two important things every team should have: a fire switchin (swamp is increasingly iffy vs mons like moth and tran) and rocks. arch is the only thing i can think of that fits on the team that provides both. chomp is possible but bad + regen ground slot already taken, kommo similarly can't run regen + there's already a cerul check, and everything else sucks.
