figured you'd say something like that, so i guess i do have to tell you that i ran track & field in college year-round from september through may, not getting back to my room till 7-8 five days a week but still having to do every bit as much academic work as my classmates. i point that out not to dickwave as much as to point out that i'm pretty sure i know what university extracurriculars are like and wouldn't play the "i had no time" card in a similar situation. which, of course, says nothing of the fact that if you had the time to make any of the requirements you should have had time to make a decent submission and/or send it in before the deadline, or at least tell me or aeolus beforehand that you needed more time
and again, the only reason i point this out is because your actual submission was also extremely lacking, more so than just about everyone else who sent in submissions. i can understand tardiness or a barebones-but-adequate submission, but not both. with that post there you've already put literally more than a third of the effort i saw in your submission. i dont know how you can argue that sending in a submission that's less than 200 words 14 hours after the deadline shouldn't indicate to me and aeolus that you may not have taken this as seriously as you would otherwise have us believe
