First RMT

Background
I've been playing pokemon competitively for about two weeks now and this is the first non-sand team I've had any real success with. Before I introduce my team I want to make it clear that I have made a conscious decision to exclude "legendaries" from my team. I understand this meta-game and its usage based tiers have evened the playing field and accounted for the Arceus's and Darkrai's of the world, but the idea still makes me feel cheap. Having said that, here is my team:

Magnezone @ Air Balloon
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SAtk / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Signal Beam

Bulky waters really gave my last team trouble, so I decided to go with Magnezone to capitalize on its ridiculous STAB Thunderbolt and his ability to Steel Trap, which works perfect with Hidden Power Fire. I know Signal Beam is a little unorthodox, but it's one of the few psychic counters I have on the team .

Garchomp (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Fire Blast
- Aqua Tail

I already had my special sweeper set and really needed a physical compliment who could abuse EQ. Enter standard Garchomp.

Jellicent (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 216 SDef / 40 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Taunt

I knew that I wanted to use Jellicent from the beginning. I loved the utility and defensive coverage she provides. I went with Ghost Ball over scald to cover Psychic and Ghost pokemon.

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Spikes
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Power Whip

I chose to go with Ferrothorn here as my physical wall and entry hazard dealer. The leech seed, protect, leftovers combo works really well and power whip is there to face off against Quagsire and Swampert.

Espeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Magic Bounce
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Psychic
- Grass Knot
- Wish

Espeon is on this team to block entry hazards, punch tyranitar, grass knot Swampert, and brain melt fighting types.

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Acrobatics
- Fling
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake

Gliscor is here for the Fling/acrobatics combo and to be immune to EQ while dealing out ice damage.

Thoughts/Experiences/Thanks
I still run into some trouble with bulky waters, though I can handle them much better with the inclusion of grass knot, and fast bolt beam users (my two ground pokes are both 4X weak to Ice.) I am also very vulnerable to baton passers and I don't know if I need a rapid spinner or not.I'm debating on making this a rain team to cover my fire weaknesses. I could place Rain Dance on both Magnezone and Espeon. If I did this, I would replace Shadow Ball with Scald. I'd love some comments on this idea.

I really appreciate all the effort everyone here has put into making smogon the awesome community it is and I preemptively thank you for all of your input and advice.

First, a couple simple formatting/General RMT things:
-Shrinking the font size down to normal would definitely be helpful.
-More detail on the role of each member of your team would make it easier for anyone to rate.

Anyways, here are my thoughts. I saw you made a comment about including Signal beam on Magnezone to cover psychics. Here's a little tip: don't worry so much about countering specific types, worry about countering specific pokemon. Plus, super effective signal beam only hits a tiny bit harder than STAB thunderbolt would. So barring your opponent using Claydol (Which isn't common, anyways), most psychics won't stand up to a Thunderbolt with that kind of power, since most psychics are pretty frail anyways.
Second, as you stated, any fast boltbeam user is going to shred this team. Scarfed Starmie comes to mind as a big threat, especially if it's backed by a solid team. That said, switching Magnezone out for something a bit faster could really help you keep up with the faster, tougher threats you'll find in this metagame (Plus, steel trapping doesn't have any massive benefits for this team, unless you just really hate Ferrothorn, Skarmory, and Scizor). Try out a couple fast, choiced Sp. Attackers. Scarf Gengar in particular would help you out, as it can pack Focus Blast to wreck Tyranitar.
Finally, a quick suggestion. To beef up your offense on this team, I recommend a setup sweeper of some sort. Try this Terrakion set:

Rock Polish
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Air Balloon / Life Orb
Jolly / Adamant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

This is directly from the Terrakion C&C thread. Use Rock Polish against offensive teams, and Swords Dance against defensive teams, and proceed to wreck stuff. Try replacing Espeon, since it really doesn't deal with anything the rest of your team can't handle, especially since Gliscor deals with fighting types just fine.

Try that out, and see if it's any better.
