Blue_Tornado only sent me 2 mons, so I'll release them. Go Serene the Slowpoke and Needle the Pawniard!

Flamestrike, mons and orders.

Brandon entered the Colosseum, marveling at its sheer enormity. His newest Pokemon followed him, a Rufflet named Skystrike, already shaping up to be a key member of the team. He greeted Blue_Tornado, who already had his Pokemon out; a Slowpoke and a Pawniard. Even though he had wanted to give Flamestrike some more training now that he was a Magmar, he couldn't bring himself to cause such an unfair matchup. Alright, get in there Skystrike! Help him out Shockstrike!" Skystrike flew forward from behind Brandon as Shockstrike the Monohm appeared from his Pokeball.

"Alright, Shockstrike, start off by using Thunderbolt on Slowpoke, then go for a Volt Change on Slowpoke! Finish off with another Thunderbolt on Slowpoke unless it's disabled, in which case go for Dragon Pulse instead! Skystrike, start off with a Hone Claws, but if you get Taunted replace it with a Shadow Claw on Slowpoke! Then enable your Sheer Force and go for Crush Claw on Slowpoke again! Finally, go for another Shadow Claw on Slowpoke!"

Summary:
Shockstrike: Thunderbolt(Slowpoke) -> Volt Change(Slowpoke) -> Thunderbolt(Slowpoke)
If Thunderbolt is Disabled on 3rd action replace it with Dragon Pulse(Slowpoke)
Skystrike: Hone Claws -> Sheer Force-activated Crush Claw(Slowpoke) -> Shadow Claw(Slowpoke)
Replace the first action with Shadow Claw if Skystrike is taunted

Ok, Serene. Looks like they're going for a full assault on you. Stay steady and this will be just fine. First Future Sight the Monohm, then Disable its Thunderbolt and go for Me First!

Needle, don't let that birdie get out of hand. Taunt it first, then go for two repeated Sucker Punches!

Slowpoke: Future Sight, Disable and Me First, all on Monohm.
Pawniard: Taunt, Sucker Punch and Sucker Punch, all on Rufflet.

Ave!
On the solemn anniversary of his birth, the Emperor has declared solemn games in the colosseum, and the last event for this day is the battle between Flamestrike and Blue_Tornado!
Shockstrike the Monohm opens the hostilities with a powerful Thunderbolt directed at Serene the Slowpoke, while his partner Skystrike, a scrappy Rufflet, Hones his claws but Needle the Pawniard, an expert in all things sharp, Taunts him about the shoddy job he's done. Serene looks like he's chosen this turn to loaf around.
Needle looks down, maybe it's something he ate? Turns out it was a clever plot to make Skystrike drop his guard, and Sucker Punch him where it hurts! Meanwhile, Shockstrike charges Serene with a Volt Change, and the Slowpoke takes this opportunity to wipe his knowledge of Thunderbolt out of his mind. Skystrike then hits him with an empowered Crush Claw!
Serene does nothing at Shockstrike, who is then clobbered by the delayed Future Sight attack!
Needle tries the same faking weakness ruse of the turn before, but surely Skystrike won't fall for the Sucker Punch twice, am I right? ... Guess I'll stand corrected. Stupid bird. The aforementioned stupid bird coats his claw with Shadow, and hits Serene, in tandem with the Dragon Pulse of his ally.
The Emperor seems suitably entertained, but he nonetheless gives some orders, and slaves are seen bustling behind the scenes, getting ready for something.

Alright, Serene. If you manage to survive, just Mud Sport, Ice Beam on Rufflet and Future Sight Monohm. As for Needle, if Monohm attacks, just pull off a quick Dig on it, and if it doesn't, Sucker Punch the Rufflet. Then Revenge Monohm and if it's not already dead, another Revenge. If Monohm dies during any of this, just shift your attacks towards Rufflet (except for the Growl of course). Let's see how this works out.

Slowpoke: Mud Sport, Ice Beam on Rufflet and Future Sight on Monohm (or Rufflet)!
Pawniard: Dig on Monohm if it attacks / Sucker Punch on Rufflet if it doesn't, Revenge on Monohm (or Rufflet), Revenge on Monohm (or Rufflet)!

"Hmm, well let's see what we can do about this. First, Shockstrike since you're not taunted set up a Rain Dance. Next hit Pawniard with a Hydro Pump, then a Volt Switch. We could evolve, but we'll give B_T a chance to grab a KO. Meanwhile, Skystrike you'll start us off with a Brave Bird to finish off Slowpoke, then follow that up with a U-Turn to Pawniard, followed by another Brave Bird, again to Pawniard."

Summary:
Shockstrike: Rain Dance -> Hydro Pump(Pawniard) -> Volt Switch(Pawniard)
Skystrike: Brave Bird(Slowpoke) -> U-Turn(Pawniard) -> Brave Bird(Pawniard)

The match goes on at the colosseum!
Needle does his feigning weakness routine, and Skystrike proves that he does really have a bird's brain by falling for it again, and it's a critical hit to boot!
Skystrike takes out his frustration with a Brave Bird on Serene, knocking him out. Meanwhile, rain begins falling on the arena, courtesy of Shockstrike's Rain Dance.
Needle is then abused by his opponents, but seems to take the assault of critical Hydro Pump and U-Turn without batting an eye. As they say, Revenge is a dish best served cold, after all, and he serves an hearty course of it to Shockstrike. He is then treated to a combination of Volt Switch and Brave Bird, and keeps on Revenging.
Looks like the Emperor is getting bored, and at his command an enormous golden cage is brought into the arena, containing none other than the legendary bird of thunder, Zapdos! He seems quiet, but his temper is notoriously explosive, and that cage looks frail...

Flamestrike, orders and take heed: Somnium magnum prodigium est

Brandon tried to figure out the warning, but not knowing Latin he gave up and decided instead to continue the assault. "Ok guys, he's on his last legs so let's give him everything we've got! Shockstrike, go for a Hydro Pump, then a Volt Change, and finish up with another Hydro Pump! Skystrike, move between Pawniard and Zapdos! Make sure he can't get in front of it! Then go for a Brave Bird, followed by a U-Turn, keeping yourself between him and Zapdos at all times!

Summary:
Shockstrike: Hydro Pump -> Volt Change -> Hydro Pump
Skystrike: Move between Pawniard and Zapdos -> Brave Bird -> U-Turn

We'll assume moving like Rufflet did doesn't conflict with Taunt and move on.

"Alright, Needle. Things are looking a bit bleak but I know we're able to pull this off if we still believe in ourselves. While Skystrike is doing its best to try and catch up to you, hide underground and hit Shockstrike with a Dig, completely losing Skystrike in the process. Since we really have got nothing to lose, we may as well take this battle as close to Zapdos as possible, using Dig, again on Monohm, to its fullest for that cause. If you're fast enough, the two Digs should work wonders by evading the bulk of Monohm's attacks, as well. If Monohm is still alive, hit it with a Sucker Punch. If not, simply hide underground and hope for a miracle."

(Dig~Dig~Sucker Punch OR Dig for defensive purposes)

The majestic thunderbird looms over the arena as the battle goes on.
Shockstrike quickly sends out a stream of pressurized water at Needle, who evades some of it by burrowing underground, and then emerges to hit the fluffy dragon. Skystrike moves to a more advantageous position between Needle and Zapdos's cage.
The Pawniard quickly plunges into another hole in the ground, avoiding most of Skystrike's Brave Bird. He then hits Shockstrike from underground.
The fluffy dragon starts to charge himself with lighting for a Volt Change, but it seems that the electric attack is being drawn towards Zapdos! The lighting bolts shatter Zapdos's fragile cage, unleashing the bird! Oh my, it looks angry and so unleashes a devastating Thunder, hitting the closest mon, unfortunate Skystrike, for massive damage! Shockstrike and Needle get hit by stray bolts, but they leave little more than a scorch mark.
Needle does his Academy deserving "Oh I'm so weak and unthreatening" routine, and Shockstrike, who evidently didn't pay attention to the earlier rounds of the battle, falls for it, and gets clobbered by a Sucker Punch right in the fluff, who proves to be the proverbial straw that broke the cloud dragon's back, KOing it!
Zapdos seems out for blood, and decides to take out his rage for being imprisoned... on the one responsible for it in the first place, and skewers the emperor with a Drill Peck! It's super effective! Critical hit! The emperor has fainted! Oh, well, never voted for him anyways. The thunderbird then quietly flys away.
After the regicide, Skystrike hits Needle with a U-Turn in the back, knocking him out!
Flamestrike wins!

Rewards:
All mons get 1 of EC, MC and DC.
Rufflet gains 2 KO counters, Pawniard one.
The trainers get 2 TC.
I get 4 RC
Great match guys, and remember: Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres
