hi im new to smogon forums
i made a tool to calculate frap
but what is frap you may ask ?
ok so basically it's a move's average raw attack power on long term based on facts such as power, accuracy, critical hit rate and probability of number of hits to know the true overall damage probability of a given move
it stands for factual raw attack power, but frap's pronounciation is the same as the french word 'frappe', and frap contains fra in it to represent french patriotism
i programmed it in python
this calculation may seem kinda absract and weird but it can be useful to make you choose the optimal attack out of multiple similar moves based on its raw fundamental power
maybe it could even be useful to the point that we could display frap next to power and accuracy on Showdown! someday ;)
