Role Justification: Togenja is a generally unique sweeper, of course not too dissimilar from Battle Bond Greninja. While it doesn't seem too terribly threatening at first, the moment it picks up a KO it gets a great power boost, speed boost, and increased critical hit rate, thanks to its ability in Pastel Fury, making it harder for walls that would otherwise setup on it to try and tank hits, or decrease its own attack, sweat just a bit more at the prospect of the greater likely-hood of landing crits. Additionally, or well, alternatively, Togenja also has the option to run Nasty Plot, which can just make it hit all the harder, and would certainly be terrifying in tandem with Pastel Fury, or alternatively instead of going for a Nasty Plot and/or trying to pick up a KO, Togenja can run specs for a more immediate power boost, and on that note it gets access to Switcheroo, which while niche, if it has the move and sees an opening, it can cripple defensive mons by giving them specs. Furthermore, Togenja can play the role of Offensive Pivot, with its generally strong STABs and options to boost itself, but notably thanks to its access to U-Turn, which grants it the ability to really keep up a team's momentum. Lastly, but most importantly, coverage, I feel that it's most important coverage is in the form of Fire-type moves, namely Flamethrower and Fire Blast, and Psychic-type moves such as Psychic and Psyshock, the former of which would enable it to hit Revarantis, that would otherwise be able to take hits from Togenja due to the fact Rev resists both of Toge's STABs, and the latter because while neither base or mega Muktaria-Alola resist both of Togenja's STABs, each form resists at least one of them, and thus having psychic coverage would allow Togenja to hit it more consistently without having to think about whether it's base or mega.

Role Justification: Main role is going to be that of a snow setter and taking advantage of said snow. Auronium's ability makes it immune to non-volatile status like Toxic under snow, and it's able to further take advantage of snow both thanks to the 50% defense boost it gets from snow, and its ability to set Aurora Veil. Is able to also keep itself pretty healthy with a combination of leech seed, giga drain, and leftovers, though giga drain isn't required, especially since if Auronium wants to go for a more power-oriented set, it has access to Petal Dance. All the more, once hunkered down, Auronium can bulk up all the more with Calm Mind and prepare to sweep the opposition. It should be noted that Auronium has great coverage in Thunderbolt and Earth Power, the former of which with Ice STAB making the BoltBeam coverage, and the latter enabling Auronium to hit Fire-types and Steel-types it would otherwise struggle to hit for SE. Overall a very versatile mon, with, really, too many moves it wants to run for its own good.

Iron Meta itself is also an answer to this mon, so you might opt to try running Fire Blast to hit it on a switch.

Role Justification: Based it around the interaction of Protean + Revelation Dance giving it unusual coverage. For an example, using Spikes would turn you into a Ground type, which then Revelation Dance would be STAB for, but do keep in mind it does not rely on this gimmick to be viable. It can still very much run a straightforward Choiced set with a variety of moves to pick for STAB (Notably, Shadow Ball + Aura Sphere is an excellent STAB combo in only two moves) as well as good Choiced tools such as U-Turn and Trick. It can also run a Set-Up Sweeper set, either through Nasty Plot or Quiver Dance, although the later needs some positioning as using QD Turn 1 would lock you as a Bug. Takes advantage of its offensive pressure to be able to force switches and set up Spikes as well.

Role Justification: Give a snow setter Nihilego's utility and an offensive typing that rips through most non-Steels with the speed to boot, and you have something that abuses its Rock/Ice type combo to the fullest. Thunderbolt is not listed as coverage for Water- or Flying-types here, but actually Steel-types like Iron Meta, since Vanilego doesn't have any moves that hits the Steel type itself for SE damage and the only Thunderbolt resistant type combo that also resists both its STABs would be Steel/Electric. As the meta ages there will be mons that outspeed it and are neither Toedieleki nor Zarubok, but additionally there no doubt will be Water-types being added that are either part Ground or take neutral from Electric; If those become prominent Freeze-Dry will smack them and unless they're Water/Electric get outright ganked.
Being a fastmon lets it hurt Arbolosion-Hisui, and there's been plenty of Ice-weak mons added last slate. However, Toedieleki checks it with Ground STAB and Iron Meta and Revarantis can just outright demolish it with Steel STAB, especially Bullet Punch in the case of physical Iron Meta variants. Rock/Ice being as blegh as it is defensively even makes it difficult to switch in against Deciperior-Hisui and Gargamise, both of which have SE STAB options, and the aforementioned Arbolosion-Hisui can damage it pretty badly if it switches in on Grass STAB. It also has to be wary of Zarubok, as CC, EQ, and Glare can all do a number on it and Zarubok is faster than Vanilego. Guguzzparce even packs quite the amount of special bulk that can let it withstand a hit and potentially paralyze with Body Slam, which again is the last thing a fast Ice/Rock wants.

Role Justification: Potentially the second Ice resist in the meta to be added amid countless Ice-weak fusions, Slither Moth is a bulky mon of moderate speed that while heavily lacking in terms of special Fighting STAB Slither Wing Moment, CAN dish out the pain with either offense nonetheless; Slither Wing things could be done for this fusion but at the same time it could also do Iron Moth's good ol' offensive pivot set. A set with Wild Charge/CC/Fiery Dance/Giga Drain could possibly work.

Toedieleki wrecks this thing and it's not ideal when used against Deciperior-Hisui, Muktaria-Alola (The mega loses the resistance to its Fire STAB but is plenty bulky on both sides and can hurt it back with EQ), Zarubok, or Drampiclus, but it just deletes Revarantis, Guguzzparce, and Slither King and does have nice matchups against Iron Meta and Gargamise; That it has higher Speed than Iron Pins and gets boosted by its terrain actually doesn't make Slither Moth's type matchup as disadvantageous against it but Psychic vs. Fighting is still concerning.

Role Justification: 145 HP means you have huge, fat Wishes to pass. That and you can easily switch in on mons that hit +2 or +4 or something. Unfortunately its attacking stats are mid at best but as its Defense bolsters its physical bulk, it could run CM or Curse just as (in the latter case) Dondozo can.

As for the meta: At +0 Wigglydozo's ability won't do much to stop Revarantis's STAB Leaf Storm from hurting and it has to worry about Arbolosion-Hisui and Iron Pins especially due to their terrain-boosted STABs, need we mention Muktaria-Alola being able to DDance on it without worry of Unaware nixing the Attack boosts but this thing does have a type advantage against Guguzzparce and outright bypasses the boosts on its setup sets. While it does have Wish to offset Salt Cure, Gargamise has SE STABs against it. However, it also acts as a decent Toedieleki check thanks to the latter's priority penalty on Electric moves and it can wall Slither King and Iron Meta decently, plus also having a type advantage against Rhytrix and especially Deciperior-Hisui.

While Calyrex-Shadow provides sufficient coverage, depending on how its threats evolve Zangoose provides plenty of special coverage that not only includes Aura Sphere to complement Astral Barrage, but a lot of other options so it could adapt to the meta as the meta would to Calygoose.

Role Justification: Great ability, not so great typing. Magic Guard paired with a subpar typing is always a good way to balance the brokenness of the ability. Mon has a vast special movepool and good status moves, with NP for sweeping, Defog for hazard removal since this mon is unaffected by hazards, and Roost for recovery but Ice/Psychic is still Ice/Psychic even with Magic Guard, and the mons defenses aren't that good either and can be exploited.

Role Justification: Shout out to G-Luke who inspired me to make a sand setter after some interesting feedback. It also gets knock off something else TTar lacks. That said it does lack the high attack and the higher bulk TTar offers but I think having more utility is a bit of a decent trade off.

Role Justification: The strongest attacker in the meta by far, with a speed that ties with Rotoghold. With a more flexible Quark Drive that can potentially double your speed and Iron Valiant's vast physical movepool, this thing sounds unstoppable, right? As good as Ice/Fighting is offensively, it is atrocious defensively, and despite its decent speed for this stage of the metagame, it'll get outsped by more and more mons as time goes on, so it can't effortlessly sweep faster teams. With its bulk, Arctic Valiant dies to just about anything that hits it SE, and if you want to reap the rewards of doubled speed from Quark Heater, you have to run a stat spread that puts a huge dent into its offenses. Very much appreciates Iron Pins as a partner to set it up without using a Booster Energy.

Role Justification: Landatisse-I came to mind when I thought of making a Fairy-type fusion that used Sheer Force, and look where we are now. Landatisse's main draw is its great matchup into the metagame right now, as it threatens (let's see here) Guguzzsparce, Toedieleki, Arbolosion-H, Zarubok, Deciperior-H, Drampiclus, and Muktaria (both forms, although base is more scared) with just its STABs. It also has great tools to take advantage of its forced switches, such as Stealth Rock or even Nasty Plot. However, Landatisse is very slow, and its common weaknesses to Steel, Water, and Grass can easily be taken advantage of by the very threats it scares.

Role Justification: Gourgoro-Super uses its unresisted STAB combination, high Attack, and good coverage tools to be a deadly wallbreaker. Additionally, its access to Parting Shot and Synthesis let it gain lots of momentum and stay healthy, respectively. However, it's not without its flaws: it can be quite strapped for moves: you want STABs, Parting Shot, Earthquake for great coverage (such as Muktaria, Arbolosion, Iron Pins, etc.), Synthesis, Knock Off for its utility, and potentially Gunk Shot if you wish to still hit Arbolosion while hitting Gargamise. Additionally, it's pretty slow and specially frail, and its defensive typing isn't too great.

Alternatively just go for a Choice Specs set, after all, even the base form has quite usable stats overall. Physical sets may seem appealing, but it has no physical Fairy STAB, and after switching out it's locked to a poor 65 Atk, so it's risky.
