Welcome, everyone, to Fusion Evolution Never Used! This is a continuation of the Fusion Evolution saga, and the last planned Fusion Evolution mod of Generation 8. Please read through all the rules before submitting!

Important Rules





Submissions and Voting

- You may only submit up to six fusions per slate. Before submitting, make sure the fusions doesn't already exist in FEOU, FEUU or FERU.

- Each fusion can only be submitted by the same user up to three times over the course of the mod. In other words, every submission can only be further resubmitted up to two times.

- You vote for up to 6 fusions submitted in one round, and the ammount of self votes depends on how many submissions you have done - 6 or 5 submissions allow for 3 self votes, 4 or 3 allow for 2 self votes and 2 or 1allow for a single self vote.

Type: The type of the fusion
Stat Distribution: The stats of the fusion
Ability: Ability (A + B) - Effect
Relevant Moves: What moves will be most common on this fusion's sets?
Intended Role: (Eg. Hazard Setter, Special Wall, Set-Up Sweeper)
Role Justification: Why should this fusion be voted in and what does it bring to the meta? How does this fusion fill its role?

It should be noted that all submissions should be based around the metagame- If "fast" in this pet mod ends up being around 90-100 a powerful attacker with a "poor" speed of 90 wouldn't be appropriate. Also, while not necessarely a rule, please avoid the jokey/silly names. I"m sure we've all had a laugh or two at naming fusions things like Shrek and Nut but that joke has gotten old very quickly and I'd rather the pet mod to have a more serious focus.



Now, onto how each thing works:
- You can fuse any Pokemon. The only rule is that it must be balanced.
- To get the stats of the Fusion, you simply average the stats of both Pokemon, rounded down. Then, you may have a total of up to +40 to add to its bst, with a maximum of +20 on a single stat. However, this aditional +40 is opitional.
- Each Pokemon donates one of its types to the fusion. A fusion of
Charizard and Corviknight can be all of Fire / Flying, Fire / Steel, Steel / Flying or Pure Flying.
- For the ability, you select one ability from each parent and create a new one, mixing the effects of both abilities. In case both donated abilities are the same, the Fusion will instead gain +5 base points to all of its stats. If one of the used abilities is Run Away, Honey Gather, Ball Fetch or Illuminate, the +5 also applies and you just get the other ability used in the combo (Run Away + Blaze = Blaze with +5 in all stats). If two abilities with no in-battle effects are fused, the resulting fusion gets +10 all around. Both of these are also optional, so if you are fusing two Pokemon whose only ability is Levitate, you are not forced to use the ability stat bonuses.
- Fusions get the movepool of both of their parents.

As for alternate forms, if it's an out-of-battle form change, it's treated as a separate pokémon. Otherwise, the formula goes as it follows:
Origin and Crowned
Nothing happens when you give Griseous Orb to Altered Giratina fusions, or Rusted Shield/Sword to base Zamazenta/Zacian forms. You can use those forms separately for fusions (Pikachu + Crowned Zacian, for example).

Mega Evolutions
Use Mix 'n' Mega rules, so Mega Fused Pokemon get the same stat buffs that their parent would, and the custom ability is overwritten with the Mega's ability. Also the SECONDARY type changes accordingly.

Greninja -> Greninja-Ash
A/B/C/D/E/F becomes A/B(+50)/C/D(+50)/E/F(+10)

Eiscue -> Noice Eiscue
A/B/C/D/E/F becomes A/B/C(-40)/D/E(-40)/F(+80)

Darmanitan -> Darmanitan-Zen
Stat out with its base form, the pure Fire type, as the basis of the fusion. Then the stats are made as A/B/C/D/E/F to A/D/(C+50)/B/(E+50)/(F-40) and secondary type becomes Psychic (even if there was no secondary type).

Galarian Darmanitan -> Galarian Darmanitan-Zen
Stat out with its base form, the pure Ice type, as the basis of the fusion. Then the stats are made as A/B/C/D/E/F to A/B(+20)/C/D/E/F(+40) and secondary type becomes Fire (even if there was no secondary type).

Meloetta Aria -> Meloetta Pirouette
Meloetta's form changes are the same as its normal forms, and you create the fusion as if it were fusing with Meloetta Aria form, and then it can transform with Relic Song. This causes the secondary typing to become Fighting (even if there was no 2nd type before). Also, the stats are swapped, not calculated again. If the base form has stats A/B/C/D/E/F, the Fighting-type form has stats of A/D/F/B/C/E (call these forms whatever you like).

Aegislash Shield -> Aegislash Blade
Aegislash works similarly to Meloetta, with you creating the Fusion with the Shield form, and then changing forms with King's Shield or by attacking (i.e. How Stance Change works) and the stats swap like such: A/B/C/D/E/F becomes A/C/B/E/D/F.

Minior Meteor -> Minior
This one is similar to Aegislash in how it should be fused. Start out with Shield Form then the Stats swap as A/B/C/D/E/F to A/C/B/E/D/(F+60)

School Wishiwashi -> Solo Wishiwashi
This one is very tricky, but we found a solution.
It goes as follows:
  1. Calculate the raw stats (and apply DNA boosts when applicable) of the other parent and Wishiwashi-School.
  2. To find the stats of Solo form, do the following:
    • Multiply Attack by 1/7
    • Multiply Defense by 1/6
    • Multiply Special Attack and Special Defense by 1/5
    • add 10 points to speed
    • round all stats down when applicable

Zygarde-10% -> Zygarde-100%
A/B/C/D/E/F becomes (A+162)/B/(C+50)/(D+30)/(E+10)/(F-30).

Zygarde-50% -> Zygarde-100%
A/B/C/D/E/F becomes (A+108)/B/C/(D+10)/E/(F-10).

Dawn Wings and Dusk Mane Necrozma -> Ultra Necrozma
This is how Stitch98 figured out the form change process:
Just like Giratina Origin and Black&White Kyurem, this forms are considered as independent from regular Necrozma, since they are obtainable outside of the battle. Fusions that come from any of the two can transform into their Ultra form if holding the UltraNecrozmium Z, similarly to Mega Evolutions. Ultra form's characteristics are defined as follows:
  1. Calculate base form's stats as usual, making averages between Necrozma DW/DM's and other DNA donors's stats and adding a total of +40 base points.
  2. After adding the +40 bonus, select the highest attacking stat between Attack and Special Attack and the highest defensive stat between Defense and Special Defense.
  3. The stat spread of the Ultra form is calculated like this:
    • Attack and Special Attack are equal to the highest attacking stat chosen before, +10 base points.
    • Defense and Special Defense are equal to the highest defensive stat chosen before, -30 base points.
    • Speed is equal to base form's Speed, +52 base points.
    • HP are the same as base form's.
  4. Secondary type of the Ultra form becomes Dragon (even if there was no secondary type).
  5. The ability of the Ultra form becomes Neuroforce.


Eternamax Eternatus
Eternamax is both unobtainable and an in-battle form change that is only triggered in story, so it can't be used in any way.

Slate 1 - New Beginnings

Let's start things off with a brand new slate! The usual fusion rules apply. However, we do have two pretty big announcements about FENU to make:

- New additions will not be usable in the PMPL. FEUU does technically get to have NU's mons as its a tier above NU, but on the offchance that an NU mon impacts UU somehow, we will hold off on letting them be in UU until the PL ends.

- FENU will have less slates than FEUU or FERU. At the end of each of those metas, we ended up having more mons than necessary for a proper meta, leaving some of them outclassed or some of them as unecessary aditions. FERU is going to aim at 8 or 9 slates max, with one or two of those being Drop Slates at some point. We will let you know more whenever the mod is close to completion.



With those out of the way, Slate 1 is open! This slate will last for a full week, closing on the 22nd. Enjoy!

Role Justification: Shaylie has the Celebi combo of having amazing stats by NU standards and a good movepool, but an absolutely terrible typing that makes it immediately plummet to the lower tier depths. Shaylie's movepool is much more shallow than Celebi, but it stick packs Seed Flare, Ice Beam, and Freeze-Dry as great STABs, Earth Power as amazing coverage, and utility in Spikes, Healing Wish, Switcheroo, and Taunt, plus enough of a physical movepool to run a surprise physical set if you want. While its typing locks it into offensive sets, it's still pretty versatile, making it a nice choice to start the meta with.

Role Justification: With its insane ability, Appledam is only weak to Fire and Flying-type moves (and Stealth Rock, I think), turning its atrocious defensive typing into a great one. With it, it packs a ton of useful resistances, like Ground, Electric, Water, and Grass, with huge 95/110/85 bulk and a ton of options in Rocks, Leech Seed, Apple Acid, Iron Defense, and Body Press. However, its Rocks weakness does really suck, it's quite passive without a couple turns of Apple Acid SpD drops or Iron Defenses, and it's so slow that it'll be forced to Recover a lot, so it's definitely not unbeatable, making it an interesting wall.

Its ability even allows it to recover a little bit of health with every attack, which can be useful sometimes. Where it falls is its main STABs are unable to hit Steel-types, but it's a pretty strong offensive type too due to hitting 5 types for SE damage. You can also run Choice Specs for the funny.

Also it gets funny moves like Koff, U-Turn and Fake Out and also recovery to be annoying.

Role Justification: On this episode of Deviation taking "inspiration" stealing from Pet Mods, I bring you Mimidrill, inspired by Josjet's Vivillon-Spirit from Alt as a Bug/Ghost SD Sweeper that can set up with the help of Disguise. Its ability allows it to use Disguise to set up Swords Dance, and while it has a subpar defensive typing, its STAB combo is actually kinda nice and fill eachother's resistances almost perfectly. Held back by lacking great Ghost-type STAB which leaves its power middling without a boost, and weakness to rocks so hazard removal support is a must.

Role Justification: Please let this be hardcoded to 1HP (it is a part of Shedinja it makes sense trust me). c/ped from FERU: Anyone who's seen Gardinja knows where I'm going with this one. Shedinja is arguably one of the best Pokemon in the game at forcing switch-ins. Wonder Guard makes any attacker without super-effective coverage or status have to switch out, or risk being stalled into oblivion. Unfortunately, Shedinja has way too many weaknesses to common attacking types, way too few viable moves, and way too low stats to ever be used except on extremely gimmicky stall teams. So, what if I took Shedinja, gave it a typing that wasn't weak to knock off, and gave it Teleport to best abuse the switches it forces? That was Gardinja. Xadinja goes a step farther. Abusing forced switches is the name of the game here. Easy hazard removal with Defog; Haze, Wisp, and Toxic to ruin sweepers; Tailwind and Trick Room for near-guaranteed speed control. This mon does almost everything. It ends up being pretty passive, but that problem is mitigated by Night Shade. Bug/Flying is an absolutely horrible defensive typing, with a 4x Stealth Rock weakness. Luckily, that doesn't matter, since Xadinja dies in one hit anyway, and always runs boots. Even the status that would ruin it can be transferred to the opponent with Synchro Guard, then healed with Refresh, or blocked completely with Magic Coat or Imprison. Pain Split is basically just Super Fang, but can also hit Ghost-types. However, like all Shedinja fusions, it will die to any super effective hit, any status, and any field effect.

Stealth Rocks provide nice role compression, and it can reliably set them with its great physical bulk. Even if it gets knocked, its base Defense is high enough that it won't be completely useless. It can't really take hits specially, and its low speed means almost everything is getting in a hit, so this mon isn't unstoppable, but it's certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Role Justification: The accursed fusion between owl and snake. Ground flying is a great defensive type and Sturdy Lens sounds fucking great on paper. It's not gonna do a lot of damage without some set up from some calm minds and nasty plots. The only benefit this gives it is allowing scorching sands to deal not crap damage to things that resist it. However it was rejected for being too strong. It's sword of friendship and mirth hath been replaced by a sword of envy, one that unlocked a hidden power within! It awoken its special prowess allowing it to fully utilize a part of itself that had gone overlooked, the half that could blast flames, slash the air, scream to the heavens, and summon the very moon itself to fire a devastating blast. Of course its physical half was still as strong as ever with a bash that could break behemoths, combat that was up close and personal, and of course toying with the enemy very roughly. If that was not enough its skills in the way of dancing and stunning turn it from good to great! While not as strong as its beloved twin, one day our favorite swordspuff will surpass it, and on that day everyone will know that Igglycian-Crowned is king.

I was told a modest base 60 Spa +1 is equal to a modest base 115 Spa which is pretty good. On top of that is has a decent amount of special moves to back it up. In terms of Physical moves they're still there and its bulk is decent enough to allow it to get off an SD. Your main physical set is most likely going to be SD/Play Rough/Close Combat/Psychic Fangs or Crunch depending on what you want coverage for. Behemoth Blade is italicized because while powerful it only has 5 pp, is a move that really only helps against other fairies, and has a secondary effect that is useless in a meta without dynamax.

Role Justification: This Fusion can be pretty versatile with its roles. Because of its slight above average bulk and good defensive typing it is able to check multiple Pokémon as a mixed wall. It can also opt to hit incoming fire types and steel types with earthquake or super power. It also has access to swords dance and agility but these sets are more gimmicky than the others mentioned above. Its slow speed tier means a lot of the time it will be taking damage before dishing out damage.

Role Justification: While its stats may be low, don't understimate it. Poison Heal considerably raises its effective bulk (And yes, Corrosion allows it to self-poison itself with a Toxic Orb even if it's a Poison type).
Additionally, it's a good strategy to abuse how it lures Steel and Poison types out of being soundly walled by them with Toxic, crippling them considerably for the rest of the match, or Spore, if you want to support a teammate with a free switch. Thanks to PHeal, it can even afford running Substitute+Leech Seed to annoy slower mons, maybe even complemented with Toxic to wear them down ASAP.
Overall it's a funny bulky mon that makes up for its flaws with interesting ways to circumvent them.

This mon could potentially be the fastest in the meta given its stat spread, so setting up Screens with this guy may be the next best thing to a Prankster mon.

Its access to Revelation Dance can also function as an interesting, albeit gimmicky option, as it allows Keclecorio to use unusual coverage (For an example, Nasty Plot turns it into a Dark type, and it can follow that up with a Dark-Type Rev Dance). It's rare that this would ever come up in a match, but the room for experimenting is there.

Intended Role: Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: Intim, passable defensive type, moves that can cripple switch-ins such as Poison Jab and Glare, and lastly Stealth Rock all make Terrabok a very interesting mon to kick off the meta with. Terrabok also has key resistances in Fighting, Fairy, Water and Electric, all of which tend to be quite good and dominant types, so having a mon right off the bat that can deal with those is fairly nice as well.

Its main drawback is limited recovery. Synthesis has low PP and Leech Seed is slow recovery, which means that while Terrabok can still put in some work with those moves, its still prone to being worn down over the course of a match. That said, it's not doing so without crippling the opposing team in some way.

Role Justification: This is an attempt to replicate BW2 RU Lilligant, a mon that I absolutely loved at the time that fell off in later gens. QD + Sleep Powder + Grass STAB + Ancient Power is your bread and butter, allowing you to put switchins to sleep and sweep once all Steels and Grasses are dealt with. Pollen Puff is a new tool that can hit opposing Grasses at the cost of Sleep Powder to cripple Steels and ease setup. Mixed EQ is a cool option for Steels but probably only viable on Scarf. It’s also got a good chunk more bulk than Lilligant. Doubility with an unoptimized stat spread means that this thing has a lot of room for stat redistribution down the line depending on how strong the meta turns out.

Role Justification: Meh typing and bulk limits its capabilities, but it does have some nice resistances in Grass, Ground and Ghost. Paired with Plate, it can gain an immunity to a different type, thus allowing it check one or two offensive threats. A Plate alongside Judgement, basically gives it a stronger HP, so there's some use there and it still posses STAB Espeed with SD and solid coverage.

Its main weakness will be 4MSS, as it will want to fill its movepool with dual STABs, setup, recovery, hazards, or Ice coverage.
