:hatterene::stakataka: - This mon can obviously be used for (O)TR, but can also stallbreak or do pseudo-magearna things to help balance become a thing. Very strong, but like it.

:glastrier::abomasnow: - I don’t see the appeal here tbh, it’s just worse Glastrier with a meme of a mega. Last slate people were saying that mega’s good for Trick Room or something, and sure, for now while it might be used, but as soon as a more dedicated slow breaker comes around it’s fucked. I guess that makes this mon the Camerupt of FEUU, but like, way worse and way less interesting. It may be a funny shitmon, but it’s still a shitmon.

:gardevoir::tapu-koko: - Not going into detail because I‘m biased, but between its speed, Trace, and movepool, this thing seems very versatile and hella fun to use.

:kyogre::dottler: - Neat breaker, Bug-type change is welcome imo. That said, a lot of people seem to see this as the introduction of Rain to the meta, while I see it as the end of Rain as an archetype. This mon clearly isn’t made to be a supportive Rain setter, it’s made to be a mon that’s strong and also happens to set Rain, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some Swift Swimmers vetoed next slate because this is too good on its own for them to be balanced alongside it tbh.

:poliwrath::clawitzer: - My favourite sub (and, by extension, winner) this slate. I love messing around with Clawitzer in higher tiers and this is basically a better Clawitzer that can break nuisances like Ferros and Brotun. It’s not going to be the strongest mon around, but will definitely have a niche.

Role Justification: Tornachamp can use Not Funny alongside Hurricane and Focus Blast for a fully accurate and powerful stab combo. When paired with Nasty Plot, this can make Tornachamp a great wallbreaker. Its attack stat is higher than its special attack so it could also use physical sets, although its best flying stab is itemless Acrobatics so it's not very convenient. Its high physical attack could allow it to run mixed sets though, letting it run options like Earthquake to get past annoying special walls such as Slowton-Galar. Role Justification: Ground-type coverage is really good for a breaker in this meta, hitting the impregnable Brontun and the resilient Tentoxys. With Hyper Voice essentially becoming Earth Power, Primarinos is capable of breaking through most of the walls in this meta. If it doesn't want to outright break the Steel and Poison walls, it can Trick them with a Choice set and then pivot out with Flip Turn. Unfortunately, Yacian can take this ability and gets the honor, alongside Corveot, as being one of the two Steels this mon can't break with Quaking Voice (but it does get other coverage for them).

Mega Primarinos is 90 / 130 / 90 / 160 / 130 / 85 with Levitate. Very fat mon in this meta. You probably could run Dragon Dance and do have Earthquake with your dual STABs. Corveot walls you though.

Role Justification: So this sub mostly just started off as a Discord joke but we think it's pretty cool so here it is! With this ability, Heal Pulse is basically Recover (since it can now self-target) and Dragon Tail is a 'pseudo-Teleport' at the cost of some 'minor' recoil damage (we ran the calcs, it's only like 10%). Both of these, pivoting and healing, are huge buffs to both base mons. In addition to being a bulky pivot, it also functions well as a Choice attacker with Dragon Tail to pivot, as well as a bulk CM mon with Heal Pulse to recover. Just watch out to Weezlord!

Having a fast Taunt or Encore means you can severely limit you opponent, and use the opportunity to either set up to break through their bulkier mons or use Toxic on the switch. Roost ensures it can keep itself healthy, as most Stall mons cannot deal much damage to it, and being a Poison-Type itself means it cannot be poisoned. Not only that, but it is also made as a way to diversify the Speed Tiers, filling in the huge gap between Miemie's 121 and Ninjacross' 142. This leaves it with a decent offensive nieche still, although it generally isn't very good against other Offensive mons and still struggles a lot with Jelliswine, Glidol and Chomplim.

Ranged is a bulky attacker with decent coverage that can use Calm Mind well. Due to how its ability works, U-Turn would do pretty decent Chip Damage as it would change to Melee before hitting the opponent. Other than that, it mostly relies on its bulk combined with Calm Mind and Shadow Ball + Thunderbolt as its main moves.

It does however have a secret trick up its sleeve in Relic Song. While you can't use Hyper Voice (since that would change you to Melee before using the move), Relic Song has a secondary effect, so before using the move, Meloslash transforms into Ranged. However, due to how the move works, this would force it to transform to Melee right after, getting 134 Speed on the next turn. When you use a move with a secondary effect again, you'll change to Ranged, getting your Sp Atk back, but since it is a mid-turn form change (as it would start out as Melee after using Relic Song), it would still count as 134 Speed that turn, essentially giving it both Speed and Bulk on the turn after using Relic Song! (Think of this how Aegislash-Shield stays as Shield until it moves, keeping its shield form bulk on the turn until it uses a move)

It can also use this form change to manipulate its weaknesses, getting rid of the Fire type for Psychic.

It's more gimmicky than usual for sure, but I think its made pretty viable.

The second set it can run is an Offensive Trick Room set, abusing its low Speed and high Special Attack to punch holes into the opponent's team if unprepared. Taunt immunity means that it can't be prevented from setting up its own Trick Room, and access to Nasty Plot allows it to boost up before going offensive. Its rather short in termsof Coverage though.

Therefore, I gave it to a Pokemon that is well known for being both offensive and defensive: Aegislash. Role Justification: Alright so physical electric types tend to be pretty bad because their strongest move is wild charge and wild charge kinda sucks. With FALINCITY it has physical overdrive which is better than wild charge in most cases, especially since it can bypass substitute. It's main goal is to take out the various steel walls like: ferros, brontun, and corveot. Despite that it can also become a very potent set up sweeper thanks to Shift Gear which allows it to become fast and hard hitting. It also gets no retreat but like 80% the time it's better to use shift gear. Just remember ALL CAPS when you spell the mon's name.

Role Justification: Since everyone else is submitting a rain abuser, I will play devil's advocate and sub an anti-Rain pokemon. Its ability, Humidifier (based on CS2 Torkoal) allows its Fire type STABs to ignore the power drop from Rain, and actually do increased damage. This allows it to deal almost SE damage to Kyottler, and smack the Steel types that are commonly run on rain teams. Incindra has a varied movepool for Physical and Special sets. It has STAB Flip Turn (or Parting Shot if you don't fear Xotalion), multiple setup options in SD, NP, DD, and Agility (those last 2 are important), and varied coverage pools on both side of its movepool. Its main weakness is its low speed, which makes it difficult to sweep as a rain abuser itself, which is why it could use Dragon Dance (or Agility on Special sets) to increase its Speed. Special sets could even use a dual dance set of NP + Agility.

Role Justification: An attempt to balance out monstrous defenses with a horrible defensive typing. 107/101/151 defenses are frankly insane, but it will mainly use its defenses in two ways. As a SubSeed pokemon that can also Toxic the opponent, or an offensive Agility set that can let it ramp up with Clear Beast. Investing 252 EVs with a boosting nature (does not even have to be -SpD) into SpA, while Special Defense has 72 or less EVs, will cause Clear Beast to increase its Special Attack. However, its main downside is its horrible Steel/Ice typing, which leaves it 4x weak to Fighting and Fire, and weak to Ground. Also it has all prime stats for a UB LETS GOOOO

Role Identification: A resub from multiple months ago. In my original post I said that this thing's viability will improve once a terrain setter is added, and now we have Kokovoir. Thiephox is a pretty standard Unburden pokemon. Blaze is situational but it can boost Thiephox's Fire Blast, which could be useful if running a Focus Sash set.

Role Identification: A swiss-army knife pokemon. It is capable of running both Special and Physical sets. Compound Eyes enables it to hit low accuracy moves, such as both of its Physical STABs, and more importantly, Sleep Powder. While it can run Physical and Special sets, Physical sets are generally better because of its higher Attack, and better coverage movepool. But do not count out Special Quiver Dance sets, as dual STABs + 91% acc Blizzard could be a real nuisance, thanks to its naturally high defenses. Its most notable weakness is its type, which leaves it weak to 6 types, including the common Dark and Ghost type pokemon.

rillarus: grass -> ice is p terrible when it has grassy terrain which means only the opponent benefits. plus this guy has a terrible defensive typing making its offensive typing basically monoice is bad as hell

alolot: i dont like how this mon heals from life orb
mawdrill: base sucks mega m is borderline mega b is broken
manaturne: never liked how manaphy played and giving it another stab and 20 more atk/spa doesnt seem very balanced
gogozzle: beat down by offense, stall has absable-mega. it has the best mu against balance (which it still has a hard time since regen mons exist), which is not a favorable outcome because balance is currently not very good.

tornachamp: p interesting, idk if itd run much physical when it has stab focus blast and hurricane + nasty plot, big koffs and uturn arent half bad though
incinoqueen: seems p cool. like magma's fire/ground sub previously but actual stats.

samuninja: underwhelming, sd with 0 dark physical moves, basically like a slightly stronger torrent greninja. lol

aside from my opinion that refusions should be avoided whenever possible i dont really like this mon. like its super fast but it speed ties ninjacross (pls stop speed tying things), but it has sd, but it has a p awful offensive typing, bleh

bruxbolt: my strong jaw bruxish is cooler. also idk how effective this typing will be as a revenge killer when it doesnt have much power behind it

kyupoi: not sure i like how this mon can boost its speed while using nasty plot
skortrio: my fire/ground fire immune centiskorch is cooler. p sure its hard to break walls when you dont have the bulk to take hits

all your other fusions are illegal because they dont give bst boosts (and would be broke if they did anyway) so ill just comment on scyper. while it has not bad support moves the typing is p ass and the bulk is not good so it doesnt really accomplish anything of note

primarinos: think it has too much going for it, run fairy-ground-fire and just hit everything
galvantales-alola: gravity setting + webs is cool but hypnosis + boltbeam + nasty plot is not
heliolele: not bad but considering that dracodoom-mega already has a kind of hard time vs arctres idt its a good idea to stack that
thundurime: instataunt + very high spa + good speed is not a good recipe. in fact its a v bad one.
decidufini: idk what this does when stall has volquag
