New Ability: From Beyond = (Perish Body + Psychic Surge)

- Gravity and Psychic Terrain and Wonder Room setting a delayed field effect for abusers to have full turns
- Skill Swap shenanigans
- Speed Swap shenanigans

New Ability: Aggressive = (Sheer Force + Rock Head)
Ability Description: The user's attacks have their power increased by 1.3x, but inflict recoil damage to the user equal to 30% of the damage dealt.
Notable Moves:
Outrage, Aqua Tail, Dual Wingbeat, Earthquake, Fire Punch (for killing ice types), Scale Shot, Iron Head, Psychic Fangs,
Dragon Dance, Roost
Intended Role: Fast Physical Attacker
Role Justification: Aerigon is designed to utilize a version of Sheer Force that applies to all moves, but inflicts recoil damage on the user. It hits very hard, but will likely wear itself down after a while.

Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Aqua Jet, Crabhammer, Earthquake, Liquidation potentially
Swords Dance, Recover
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper/Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Quagdaunt has access to Swords Dance and conditional Adaptability, as well as several powerful STAB moves. An awful speed tier makes it difficult to set up, but upon doing so, Quagdaunt becomes a dangerous behemoth of a threat.

Notable Moves:
Dual Chop, Sucker Punch, Drain Punch, Gunk Shot, Earthquake, Knock Off, Outrage
Swords Dance, Glare, Hone Claws
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper/Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Druddicroak has the ability to deal bonus chip damage on all of its attacks. It has Glare, giving it a highly reliable method of speed control, and can easily chip away at even the toughest of walls with Dual Chop.

Notable Moves:

Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Power Gem
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock, Toxic
Intended Role: Physical Setup Sweeper or Special Sweeper
Role Justification: Dialwile is designed to be an answer to Weezlord, hitting it SE with STAB Flash Cannon. It can also be used physically with Swords Dance. It has a notable amount of both physical and special moves, but sadly lacks special Fairy STAB.

Intended Role: Mixed attacker
Role Justification: Toxmmo-o can do anything you want. Want a DD sweeper? Check. Want a great Special attacker with two great STABs? Check. Want a mon that can put Stealth Rock without investing on a Glidol or Heatki? Check. In conclussion, this mon can be a great glue mon to your team.

Notable Moves:
Sucker Punch, High Jump Kick, the Elemental Punches, the Elemental Fangs, Poison Jab, U-Turn, Knock Off, Foul Play, Rock Slide....
No reason to use it.
Bulk Up...
Intended Role: Wallbreaker and Sucker Punch abuser.
Role Justification: Thievul has a great physical movepool, but low attack, so here I try to give it a use to his movepool. With his attack and abilities (which is just Pure Power) reaches a total of 486 attack maximum and just gets an amazing STAB priority move in Sucker Punch to abuse it. It is not broken (the base form) because we have a lot of amazing Fairy types like Talonsyl, Hattataka and speccialy Weezlord, which can anulate his ability and wall it.

DNA Donors: Chesnaught / Torkoal
Fusion Name: Naughkoal
New Types:

Base Stats: 90 / 100 / 140 / 80 / 80 / 49 [BST: 539] (+11 HP / +4 Atk / +9 Def / +1 SpA / +8 SpD / +7 Spe)
New Ability: Sunblock = (Bulletproof + Drought)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
Body Press, Rapid Spin, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Thunder Punch, Wood Hammer, Heat Crash
Clear Smog
Iron Defense, Will-O-Wisp, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Synthesis, Leech Seed, Spiky Shield, Bulk Up
Intended Role: Sun Setter (Ability), Physical Wall, Setup Sweeper (Bulk Up, Iron Defense), Hazard Setter (Spikes, Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: Naughkoal here is a both a great wall and good Sun setter. With amazing 90/140 physical bulk, Naughkoal can stand up to a many a physical attack and heal back a lot of the damage with Synthesis, which heals in 67% in the Sun, and comes with a ton of utility with Spikes, Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, and Yawn. Not to mention it ha 140 Defense and STAB Body Press, which is insanely powerful and can be further bolstered by Iron Defense. Plus, it sets the Sun, which lets it support Mega Dracodoom. However, it of course has drawbacks, namely it lacks a good physical Fire-type move, and off of 80 SpA uninvested, Lava Plume and Fire Blast aren't gonna do too much damage even in the Sun, so it's very one note offensively (don't even think about Shell Smash, it's too weak and slow for that). Plus, its typing leaves a lot to be desired defensively and being a Sun setter, it of course gets absolutely destroyed by Kyottler without spending a moveslot on Stone Edge

New Ability: Dust Mites = (Shield Dust + Aura Break)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
please don't use Thousand Arrows
Ice Beam, Earth Power, Focus Blast, Giga Drain, Core Enforcer
Quiver Dance, Glare
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Quiver Dance)
Role Justification: Zymoth is pretty simple. You come in, you Quiver Dance, and you blast through stuff like Glidol, Dracodoom, Landomaldo, and Noicity with boosted Ice Beams, with Earth Power in toe to hit the Hattakas and Heatkis that come in to take an Ice Beam, plus niche coverage in STAB Core Enforcer to deal with Kyottler after 2 or 3 boosts or the option of Glare to make setting up easier. It's a bit difficult to setup thanks to its meh defensive typing that forces it to run Heavy-Duty Boots most of the time and, before boosting, it gets outsped and KOed by the likes of Lycanserker, Ninjacross, and Miemie, but if you can get set up, you'll leave a dent in the opponent's team

New Ability: High Ground = (Levitate + Unnerve)
Ability Description: The opponent cannot use Ground-type moves while this Pokémon is active
Notable Moves:
Stone Edge, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Fang, U-Turn, Superpower
N/A
Dragon Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock, Defog, Taunt
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot (U-Turn), Revenge Killer, Defogger
Role Justification: Everyone knows how good of an offensive typing Rock/Ground is and with decent 110 Attack and a great 122 Speed stat, the 2nd highest in the tier, Aerogon can be a great offensive pivot, able to dent things with its STABs and pivot out with U-Turn. Thanks to its high Speed, Aerogon can easily take care of fast threats like Kokovoir, Lycanserker, and Noicity while having the coverage and power to take down the likes of Slowtun, Kyottler, and Pincurchitar. Aerogon can also be a decent Defogger thanks to its Stealth Rocks resistance and ability to threaten Rockers like Heatki and Hattaka. Aerogon does have an absolutely atrocious defensive typing, even with a Ground immunity, that leaves it weak to Corveot and the tier's many Water-types, which makes it hard to get in, but when used right, Aerogon can be a great momentum grabber

Fusion Name: Mega Aerogon
New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 140 / 104 / 80 / 110 / 142 [BST: 656]
New Ability: Tough Claws
Ability Description: This Pokémon's contact moves have 1.3x power
Notable Moves:
Stone Edge, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Fang, U-Turn, Superpower, First Impression
N/A
Dragon Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock, Defog, Taunt
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot (U-Turn), Revenge Killer, Defogger
Role Justification: 140 Attack and 142 Speed are insane offensive stats, but Mega Aerogon might actually be balanced enough for for the tier due to its ability, Tough Claws, having no effect on its STAB moves, instead boosting U-Turn and its coverage in Fire Punch, Ice Fang, and Superpower. That being said, Mega Aerogon is certainly not lacking in power, making it a faster, stronger, but more risky version of its base form, since it lacks the Ground immunity that lets Aerogon switch into Glidol, for example. Thus, Mega Aerogon is a bit higher risk with a higher reward

New Ability: Air Shock = (Levitate + Static)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
N/A
Thunderbolt, Scald, Volt Switch, Energy Ball, Earth Power
Roost, Sticky Web, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Vikavisk has 105/105 physical bulk, recovery, and no weaknesses, making it a physical wall that'll be hard to take down without a strong special move or boosting up. With its longevity, Vikavisk is able to set up hazards, cripple sweepers and switch-ins with Scald burns, bring in a frailer teammate with Volt Switch, or just hit something fairly hard with Thunderbolt and its good 115 SpA. It's terribly slow, so it has to take a hit or two before it can do anything and setup sweepers that resist Electric or don't care about getting burned like Dracodoom can abuse it, and not to mention it lets Slowtun in for free unless you sacrifice a precious moveslot for Earth Power, but Vikavisk should be a good wall all-in-all

New Ability: Hydro Force = (Sand Force + Swift Swim)
Ability Description: This Pokémon's Water, Ground, and Steel-type moves deals 1.3x damage in Rain
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Waterfall, Ice Punch, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Thunder Punch, Rapid Spin
N/A
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Rain Abuser, Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: You like base Kyottler? Wish there was a rain abuser you could pair with it? Here's a rain abuser you can pair with it. Excola's STAB Waterfalls will do serious damage in Kyottler's rain, letting it bust through the many good Pokemon weak to Water like Glidol, Heatki, and Lycanserker. Not to mention, its weaker and but still powerful rain-boosted Earthquakes can easily KO any of the 8 S and A-Tiers weak to Ground. Out of rain, it's still pretty strong, but neutralities to Water like Corveot and resists like Toxalure have a much easier time taking its Attacks and its meh 83 Speed with also meh 95/80/90 bulk makes it easy to revenge kill, even in rain. Even so, if you have a Kyottler on your team and you need a wallbreaker, Excola should do the trick

Base Stats: 73 / 69 / 122 / 95 / 90 / 95 [BST: 544] (+8 HP / +2 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +10 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Mystic Crystal = (Magic Guard + Sheer Force)
Ability Description: Effects of both.
Notable Moves:

Psychic, Steel Beam (only as base), Flash Cannon (only if mega), Dazzling Gleam, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Focus Blast
Calm Mind, Recover, Substitute
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Wall, Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind), Psychic Terrain Abuser
Role Justification: Even alakazam’s defense stat can’t hold steelix’s insane defense capabilities that far down. This also gets a hilarious move called steel beam that I will preemptively apologize for. Potential to set up on hazard/status-reliant mons with a decent amount of coverage.

Notable Moves: See Above +
Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Thunder Punch

Intended Role: See above + Special Wall + Physical Wallbreaker (so basically mixed Wallbreaker and wall) + Sandstorm Abuser
Role Justification: The boost from Steelixite brings increased stats to both defenses as well as a major attack boost, rendering the two attack stats nearly equal. This allows for a mixed moveset that involves slightly better coverage (specifically ice moves) at the cost of a situational ability. The mega ability this gets however, is simply bad enough that this form is not as good as the base form, even with the new stats.

Notable Moves:
Drain Punch, Close Combat, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Knock Off, Earthquake, Triple Axel

Swords Dance
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance)
Role Justification: This mon has 3 weaknesses: Flying, Ground, and Psychic, the last of which is a 4x weakness. It just so happens that many of the best pokemon in the meta have one of these three types. Now usually that would mean a mon like this would suck, but it turns it into a glass cannon with the speed boost it gets from its ability. If you feel safe against a team, you could consider setting up with Swords Dance. Then there's the mega, which really just serves as a stat boost, especially after the activation of Unyielding.

New Ability: Power Conduct = (Lightning Rod + Huge Power)
Ability Description: Doubles the special attack stat of the Pokémon with this ability.
Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch, Rising Voltage, Scald, Ice Beam

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Rain Abuser, Electric Terrain Abuser
Role Justification: Regardless of the form it’s in, this thing has huge power. It’s gonna allow for some hard hitting moves, and despite the lack of notable coverage from nonSTAB moves, electric and water cover each other decently well offensively and defensively. Benefits from rain via STAB water boosts (obviously) and Thunder accuracy, which can be devastating. Benefits from electric terrain because it’s a fucking electric mon with rising voltage. It’s also able to pivot out while likely dealing a good chunk of damage with a STAB volt switch. For safety on switching out on ground types, you could always opt for U-turn instead

New Ability: Water Slide = (Emergency Exit + Misty Surge)
Ability Description: Effects of Misty Surge. When Misty terrain ends, this Pokémon switches out at the end of the turn.
Notable Moves:
Liquidation, Aqua Jet, Play Rough, Knock Off, Leech Life
Nature’s Madness
Swords Dance, Defog, Spikes
Intended Role: Misty Terrain Setter, Physical Wallbreaker, Mixed Wall, Defensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Hazard Control (Defog), Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Role Justification: What do you get when you cross Tapu Fini’s versatility with Golisopod’s physical capabilities? A monster, that’s what. This mon’s defenses allow it to tank most hits fusions in this meta can dish out. It has the option to raise its attack stat as long as the opponent isn’t dealing too much damage. Concerned about the speed tier? This gets STAB aqua jet. Speaking of STAB, let’s mention the terrain boosted play rough this gets. If that’s not bringing the opponent’s HP down, you could always opt for nature’s madness, which will cut it in half. This also gets Defog to prevent hazards, which this Pokémon greatly benefits from as it will inevitably switch out when the terrain is gone. Speaking of that, half the terrains in this game are of types that are super effective against water, so it has very good reason to have to switch out, even if you got a boost or two up.

Ability Description: Effects of both
Notable Moves:
Dual Wingbeat, Triple Axel, Ice Shard, U-Turn, Brick Break, Knock Off

Swords Dance, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Offensive Pivot.
Role Justification: Technician on stab moves, setup is self explanatory, U-turn’s U-Turn. This mon was designed to be the bane of all ground types (all my homies hate glidol), and it’s faster than most mons so can pivot out from a potential rock move.

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot), Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Spikes)
Role Justification: Dragon mon with decent bulk and even more resistances, weez counter with stab flash cannon. Gets fire blast for steel mons that can wall it. Nasty plot is nasty plot. Honestly the moveset is straightforward. The ability fucks up the fastest mons in the meta and along with its stats it also fucks up the slower ones. Swords Dance, Spikes, Trick
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Hazard Setter (Spikes), Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: A solid typing and stats allow it to act as a mon that's not easy to switch into, which it can abuse by laying Spikes or pivoting out with U-Turn. It also is usable as a Choice option as it can Trick away its item when it isn't needed anymore, also crippling some mon in the process.

Ability Description: The user bounces back status moves

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Play Rough, Body Press, Superpower, Explosion
Earth Power, Moonblast, Scorching Sands, Mystical Fire
Slack Off, Stealth Rock, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Magic Bounce), Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind)
Role Justification: Good bulk and typing in the base form turn it into a solid defensive mon that provides support for its team. Setting Mist on switch-in prevents your team from having opposing stat drops, giving some situational utility. The mega gets about all the coverage it needs to not be easy to wall, and it's supported by a semi-unresisted STAB combination, having funny synergy with Mystical Fire as it lowers the offense of the opponent on the bulk side it lacks the most, while also rounding up the coverage. Sableior, Absable and Hattaka are forced out by this mon as well, making it a good Stealth Rock setter. However, the base form can be quite passive, and the mega is frail, so keep that in mind.

Shift Gear, Recover, Spikes, Calm Mind, Memento, Heal Bell, Trick
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Mixed Wall, Mixed Attacker, Hazard Setter (Spikes), Defensive Pivot (Volt Switch), Choice Specs
Role Justification: The mon may look weird, but its ability allows it to abuse Kokovoir's Electric Terrain in an unique way, setting up with Shift Gear, then hitting hard with Steel Roller, all while also raising its SpA to go mixed afterwards, alternatively it can setup and hit stuff with Rising Voltage, or even just be an utility mon that sets Spikes, walls certain opponents with reliable recovery in Recover, and pivots with Volt Switch.

Role Justification: A wallbreaker with defensive utility, Glare not only cripples stuff, it's also its main tool to outspeed them and hit them hard, while also including switch-ins, it can also use its semi-reliable recovery in Synthesis to remain healthy across the match, and it can perform role compression as a pivot out of Volt Switch and a good typing.

Base: Weather Setter (Sunny Day), Offensive Pivot (Flip Turn), Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin)
Primal: Wallbreaker, Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: While it may seem counterintuitive to make a Water type that sets Sunny Day, there's a catch, it doesn't set the weather until when it leaves, meaning that its features in Water coverage and so on aren't compromised, allowing it to make a solid core with Fire types, as it checks pretty well opposing Ground, Rock and Water types, while the Fire types remove the Grass types it dislikes. A ton of utility also lets it do even further role compression if desired, and while the Primal effectively only has a single STAB to rely on and is weak to SR, it still hits quite hard, so it is to not be understimated either.

Rest, Sleep Talk, Calm Mind, Wish, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Haze, Heal Bell, Healing Wish
Intended Role: Mixed Wall, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter, Setup Sweeper, Cleric
Role Justification: A solid mon that can fit in a ton of teams out of its versatility to fulfill offensive and defensive niches at once. Base being practically a mega that doesn't require a mega slot itself, but if you want to anyways, the mega acts as a wall with a nice amount of utility, Mega Ash is also monstruous, but it's unreliable to get as it requires the opponent to status you, and even then you're crippled, unless you run RestTalk, which heavily limits options. It also annoys Weezlord, as it doesn't mind losing its ability at all, and stands out from Mega Silvino Water by having options such as Haze, hazards and Scald. However, it is quite easy to wall out of a lack of solid STAB, although it can pivot out and set hazards to keep momentum, and it's still a good wincon thanks to Water Shuriken against offensive teams.
Note: Mega Ash Grenino is surely banworthy, although I wouldn't oppose a suspect test or similar.

New Ability: Lockdown = (Damp + Suction Cups)
Ability Description: While this Pokemon is active, it prevents the use of moves and items that switch Pokemon out (affects both sides).
Notable Moves:
… Hydro Pump, Surf, Scald, Earth Power, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Focus Blast
… Stealth Rock, Toxic
Intended Role: Defensive pivot, Choice Specs attacker, Hazards (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: With the ability to stop all pivoting moves, Octpert's main value is preventing you from losing momentum, as it forces manual switches and punishes U-Turn and Teleport. This affords it some unique utility as a defensive pivot, helping it stand out against a sea of other attackers and pivots.

New Ability: Fallout Shelter = (Blaze + Soundproof)
Ability Description: Combined effects
Notable Moves:
… Close Combat, Drain Punch, Body Press, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Iron Head, Flare Blitz, Gunk Shot, Mach Punch, Stone Edge, U-Turn
… Boomburst, Focus Blast, Clanging Scales, Draco Meteor, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, Fire Blast
… Clangorous Soul, Autonomize, Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Stealth Rock, Iron Defense?, Slack Off, Will-o-Wisp
Intended Role: physical breaker (SD / Clang), offensive pivot, defensive pivot, physical wall, special wall, hazards (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: So this mon gets virtually every boosting move it wants, complete with a killer movepool to make use of them. It can even make use of bulky sets due to its access to Slack Off and Wisp, complete with STAB Body Press. U-Turn does so much for it too compared to base Kommo-o who is often a momentum sink. Ability Description: After KOing a Pokemon, inverts its stat changes.
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off, U-Turn
… Leaf Storm, Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Energy Ball, Dragon Pulse, Sludge Bomb
… Spikes, Glare
Intended Role: special breaker, hazards (spikes)
Role Justification: Beast Boost and Contrary are both snowballing abilities, but combining them sort of creates the 'anti snowball'. This special breaker is rewarded for timing a KO with Leaf Storm or Draco Meteor, which turn the -2 SpA drawback into a +2 SpA reward. It can't exactly do this again, because then you just end up at neutral with no boost and need to repeat the process again. Has access to a lot of utility in addition to this gimmick.

Ability Description: Combined effects
Notable Moves:
… Sacred Fire, High Horsepower, Play Rough, Stone Edge, Extreme Speed
… Swords Dance, Morning Sun, Will-o-Wisp
Intended Role: Swords Dance breaker
Role Justification: The ability is pretty boring, with its main use being protection from Intimidate clones (really helps for Landmaldo though!). It's tailored as a Weezlord counter due to its burn immunity, resistance to Dark/Fairy and its ability to burn it with Sacred Fire if it stays in. This forces it out for an SD. Speed tier outspeeds Mega Corv, and it has High Horsepower for Brontun and Heatki.

New Ability: Emergency Doctor = (Emergency Exit + Regenerator)
Ability Description: Combined effects, but they cannot trigger at the same time.
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off, First Impression
… Future Sight
… Spikes, Recover
Intended Role: offensive pivot, defensive pivot, spikes, revenge killer, wallbreaker
Role Justification: Team support through Spikes and Future Sight helps it support other wallbreakers, especially now with Psychic Terrain in the meta. This is a combination designed to punish switches. Knock Off further supports this role, as nothing wants to deal with any of its moves. Can also revenge kill with First Impression if you want, again due to the glutton of psychics in the tier now (but not when psychic terrain is up).

New Ability: Stick Prophecy = (Prism Armor + Defiant)
Ability Description: This Pokemon receives 3/4 damage from supereffective attacks and gets +2 Atk if hit by a supereffective move. This ability cannot be suppressed.
Notable Moves:
… Acrobatics, Close Combat, Knock Off, First Impression, U-Turn, Earthquake, Sunsteel Strike, Photon Geyser
… no
… Defog, Roost, Swords Dance, Wish, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Offensive pivot, defensive pivot, hazards (Stealth Rock, Defog), Swords Dance breaker
Role Justification: Knock Off is a dumb move and there a lot of subs here that punish it. This is another one that does so, but does it in a completely different way. While it is weak to Knock Off, it has no problem absorbing it as the ability is basically a Weakness Policy for it (and it isn't one-time use). This has amazing synergy with Acrobatics, which punishes every Knock Off user (+2 110 BP STAB hurts anything, really). You can even take it a step further and give it a Weakness Policy item, which activates before the Knock Off boost and now you're one lucky bird lion thing.

… Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave
… Defog, Roost, Swords Dance, Wish, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Offensive pivot, defensive pivot, hazards (Stealth Rock, Defog)
Role Justification: Honestly not sure what this does aside from having a lot of stats. Doesn't have great dual STAB options so it's probably just pivoting around with U-Turn.

Typing:

Ability: Drought

Viable Moves:
- U-Turn
- Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Focus Blast, Scorching Sands, Solar Beam, Weather Ball
- Defog, Roost

Roles: Support Sun Setter (Base), Setup Sweeper (Mega X), Bulky Attacker (Mega X), Special Wallbreaker (Mega Y)

I don’t resub mons immediately unless I genuinely think they’re great subs, which is why this one’s back. We still don’t have a sun setter, and because so many sun-setting subs recently suffer from Ares syndrome, I want to ensure that at least one of them doesn’t. Base form features a great set of utility options but lacks the power to outclass abusers, which is integral when designing a support-oriented setter. Charkey also comes with two megas, probably making it the first mon where base and both megas are all legitimately viable. Compared to the normal megazards, both take less from SR, X gains a ton of utility at the cost of STAB Blitz, and Y trades some power on its other moves for a hard-hitting STAB Solar Beam.

:ss/Emboar::ss/Crustle:
Stats: 90 / 134 / 115 / 82 / 70 / 55 [BST: 546] (+20 Atk, +20 Def)
Typing:

Ability: Plot Armor = Reckless + Sturdy
Ability Description: Reckless effects. If this Pokemon would faint due to (non-struggle) recoil or crash damage, it will instead survive with 1 HP.

Viable Moves:
- Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Superpower
- Don’t
- Shell Smash, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance

Roles: Physical Wallbreaker, Trick Room Abuser

We lack slow physical breakers, so behold, the slow physical breaker. Crustboar just murders things whenever it gets the opportunity to, though with its speed tier and awful defensive typing, that’s pretty rare. Its ability prevents it from dying to recoil from its nuclear Head Smashes and Flare Blitzes, which is especially helpful under Trick Room, but it will quickly take itself down to 1hp doing so, leaving itself vulnerable to priority, hazards, hail… anything, really.

:ss/araquanid::ss/Flygon:
Stats: 80 / 100 / 86 / 65 / 106 / 90 [BST: 527] (+6 HP, +15 Atk, +19 Spe)
Typing:

Ability: Scorched Earth = Water Bubble + Levitate
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Ground power is 2x; it can't be burned; Water immunity.

Viable Moves:
- Dragon Claw, Earthquake, First Impression, Leech Life, Stone Edge, U-Turn
- Don’t
- Defog, Dragon Dance, Roost, Sticky Web

Roles: Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper

This thing’s neat in that it has 2 mediocre STAB types, but both compliment its double-power Earthquakes, which creates an unusual dichotomy between its typing defensively and the type it‘s doing most of its damage with offensively, and also opens its moveslots up for more utility. It can keep up a lot of pressure while supporting its team with Defog and Webs, or try to end the game itself with DD.

Ability Description: Effects of Contrary. this Pokemon cannot be statused and rest will fail for it, except in sun.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:

… Leaf Storm (obviously), Pollen Puff, Giga Drain, Dragon Pulse
… Glare, Leech Seed, Synthesis
Intended Role : Setup Sweeper (Leaf Storm)
Role Justification: Basically Serperior, but it's regional dex. its ability means it's immune to being paralyzed and poisoned (most of the time) and a high speed tier means it can do its job as a setup sweeper pretty reliably, which is to spam Leaf Storm with a decent Special Attack stat. it has just as much coverage as Serperior (barring Pollen Puff), so it still struggles with being walled by the likes of Heatki and other Steels, as Dragon Pulse isn't the best coverage and HP Fire doesn't exist. Glare does come in handy for Parahax and generally crippling speed.

Notable Moves:
… Fake Out, Extreme Speed, Body Slam, Double-Edge
… Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Mystical fire, Psyshock
…Nasty Plot, Substitute, Wish, Protect, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot)
Role Justification: setup sweeper that sets itself apart from others like Talonsyl and Kokovoir with its access to Nasty Plot and its role as a setup sweeper rather than a Choice Item user. it has a good defensive typing and STAB combo, and can pass Wish via Volt Switch if you so desire. Galvanize also boosts moves like Extreme Speed and Fake Out, making them viable options as well despite the lower Attack stat.

New Ability: Offload = (Hydration + Synchronize)
Ability Description: If another Pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes this Pokemon, it also gets that status.
cures status at the end of each turn if burned, poisoned or paralyzed.
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off
… Psychic, Psyshock, Moonblast, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Mystical Fire
… Life Dew, Calm Mind, Wish, Protect, Trick, Healing Wish, Teleport
Intended Role: Special Wall / Bulky Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind) / Defensive Pivot (Teleport, Wish, Life Dew)
Role Justification: this is a bulky setup sweeper that sets itself apart from the like of Kokovoir due to its relatively niche typing and bulkier stat spread. it has moderate recovery via Life Dew and WishTect, and can Teleport other allies in safely. having status transferred to the opponent via its ability means it can switch into things like Will-o-wisp and Toxic, and it being removed at he end of the turn means it doesn't take massive poison damage from Toxic either. Sleep, however, can and will last, and won't transfer to the opponent, so be cautious of that. the downside is that it's fairly slow, and recovery is slow at best, so it is prone to getting worn down over time.

… Autonomize, Substitute, Leech Seed, Toxic, Protect
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Autonomize), Mixed Wall
Role Justification: we got Dracodoom, so i think it's time to give its lesser used cousin a chance. Arctosteela is a bulky attacker that can set up via autonomize. while this may be cause for concern, as it does get Bolt Beak, it is very slow, so it may take 2 or more uses before it outspeeds everything, and has no way of boosting offensive stats outside of its ability. good mixed offenses means it can run both physical and special sets, and access to Leech Seed and Substitute means it can run a bulky set if you desire. however, it isn't immune to Toxic or Will-o-wisp which puts a huge dent in its damage output physically, so watch out, and unless it's running Earthquake, bulky steels like Brontun should be able to handle it. it's also weak to Stealth Rocks, so boots become a must.

New Ability: Chilling Release = (Unburden + Refrigerate)
Ability Description: If this Pokémon is not holding an item, it’s attacks gain a 20% damage boost
Notable Moves:
: Meteor Beam, Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Earth Power, Hyper Voice, Hex, Psychic
: Calm Mind, Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, Rock Polish, Strength Sap
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker & Meteor Beam Setup
Role Justification: Driflorus’ main gimmick is that of Power Herb to Meteor Beam, granting 1 stage of Sp.Atk with an extra 1.2x power boost from ability, not to mention access to boltbeam. While it is slow with a very mixed defensive typing, Driflorus is able to maintain its presence on the field as well, with access to healing thanks to strength sap.

New Ability: Desert Trooper = (Guts + Sand Force)
Ability Description: Both Effects Combined
Notable Moves:
Facade, Earthquake, U-turn, Flame Wheel, Knock Off, Quick Attack, Superpower, Stone Edge
None
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Landorat is my latest attempt at giving Sand Offense some breakers, and I think here I hit the jackpot. Of course, Landorat's viability and usefulness extends past Sand - it is a normal type Guts breaker after all - but in Sand is where it truly shines, thanks to Desert Trooper amplifying it's EQ. The ever present Corveot annoys it as hell, but we still have some ways around that. Also, 104 is not particularly fast in this metagame, as it falls just below the prized 105 spot.

Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Hyper Voice, Bug Buzz, Hurricane, Giga Drain, Sludge Bomb
Quiver Dance, Roost, Nasty Plot, Sleep Powder
Intended Role: Set Up Sweeper
Role Justification: Mothnoct uses it's ability, Quiver Dance and Sleep Powder to make it as a set up sweeper despite it's mediocre stats and awful offensive and defensive typing. After a few boosts it becomes a potent offensive threat, so it fits lovingly on Hyper Offensive teams that want to utilize a sweeper. It has pretty crippling 4MSS however, as it wants to choose between Roost for longevity or Sleep Powder for more chances to set up and no one STAB is particularly ideal to run as a mono attacking set even with Tinted Lens. Even so, if it's checks are properly dealt with, Mothnoct can certainly perform.

Fusion: Typhlossal
Type:

Stat Distribution: 99/87/104/119/92/90 (+5 HP, +5 Atk, +5 Def, +25 SpA, +5 SpD, +25 Spe) BST: 591
Ability: Flash Fire (Flash Fire + Flash Fire)
Relevant Moves:
Physical- Rapid Spin
Special- Eruption, Fire Blast, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Scald, Focus Blast
Status- Stealth Rock, Spikes
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Choice Scarf/Specs, Hazard Setter (SR, Spikes), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: Typhlossal adds another rock type Special Attacker to the meta, alongside Noze. Both Typhlossal and Noze have different ways to beat the steels that threaten rock type Special attackers. While Noze uses its bulk and ability to take hits, Typhlossal uses its Fire STAB to melt through them. One of Typhlossal's most powerful aspects is its great special movepool, including the powerful Eruption and Meteor Beam. However, these two moves cannot be used at the same time, as Eruption wants an item like Choice Scarf, and Meteor Beam requires Power Herb. It also has access to Hazards & Hazard Control. Typhlossal's main weakness is it's defensive typing, which leaves it 4x weak to Water and Ground type attacks, so pokemon like Landmaldo, Grousle, and Kingtsar can handle it. Also, like most other offensive Fires, it's STABs are hardwalled by Brontun.

New Types:

Base Stats: 85/111/81/98/81/119 (+10 Def, +10 SpD, +20 Spe) BST: 575
New Ability: Pecking Order (Big Pecks + Intimidate): Intimidate but for Defense
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
- Liquidation, Brave Bird, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Stone Edge, Aqua Jet
-
- Dragon Dance, Defog, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Dragon Dance), Choice (Band/Scarf), Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: A very powerful wallbreaker. Despite only having 111 base attack, Pecking Order basically gives Swannamence temporary Intrepid Sword, which allows it to click one of its STABs to great effect. Due to it being a drop on the opponent, rather than a self boost, this ability cannot be blocked by Unaware pokemon like Volquag. Its Speed tier allows it to outspeed pokemon like Noicity and the improved Pigapult. Its coverage pool is small but effective for hitting resistances, with dual STABs + Earthquake being extra effective. Its main answers will be Weezlord-Galar with Lemegeton, and base Corveot with Big Pressure, which are not affected by its ability. Jelliswine is annoying because of the Water resistance, but it can be beaten by Flying type attacks.

Role Justification: stab -ate with 121/139 physical offense hits hard, especially with -1 Defense

Fusion: Cherritaria(-Cloudy)
Type:

Stat Distribution: 72/66/89/89/91/101 (+1 Atk, +9 Def, +11 SpA, +19 Spe) BST: 508
Ability: Cloudy Gift (Cloud Nine + Flower Gift): Hard coded. When not in a weather, Attack and Special Defense are 1.5x.
Relevant Moves:
Physical- Dragon Claw, Outrage, Petal Blizzard, Earthquake, Play Rough
Special-
Status- Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Defog, Roost, Leech Seed, Healing Wish
Intended Role: Special Wall, Physical Wallbreaker, Set Up (Swords Dance, Dragon Dance), Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: Cherrtaria is an interesting pokemon. While it is completely unviable on weather teams, or when facing weather teams, it is suprisingly powerful otherwise. The boost to its attack makes it comparable to base-125 attack pokemon, and its special defense is slightly less than Ferros with Eviolite. Of course, it has bad matchups against Kyottler, Pincurchitar, Weezlord, and Glasnow-Mega, which can all nullify its ability, but it also 4x weak to Ice, which commonly run as coverage for many pokemon.

Fusion: Cherrtaria-Mega
Type:

Stat Distribution: 72/106/109/129/91/101 (+40 Atk, +20 Def, +40 SpA) BST: 608
Ability: Pixilate
Relevant Moves:
Physical- Dragon Claw, Outrage, Body Slam, Double Edge, Earthquake
Special- Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice, Fire Blast, Ice Beam
Status- Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Defog, Roost, Leech Seed, Healing Wish
Intended Role: Physical/Special Wallbreaker, Set Up (Swords Dance, Dragon Dance), Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: Cherrtaria-Mega plays pretty similarly to Mega Altaria, being faster and stronger than it (especially with the addition of Swords Dance), while also being frailer than it on the Special Defense side. As for answers, its physical set is walled by Corveot, since it resists its Dual STABs and is immune to Earthquake.

Fusion: Zacoink-Crowned
Type:

Stat Distribution: 86/117/75/82/100/104 (+10 HP, +20 Atk, +7 SpA, +3 SpD) BST: 564
Ability: Intrepid Eater (Intrepid Sword + Gluttony): Gains +1 Attack when reaching 1/2 or less max HP.
Relevant Moves:
Physical- Play Rough, Psychic Fangs, Close Combat, Crunch
Special-
Status- Swords Dance
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Set Up (Swords Dance), Choice Band
Role Justification: Zacoink's main aspect is its amazing Fairy/Psychic offensive typing that, when paired with Close Combat or Crunch, hits almost the entire meta neutrally or better (with Close Combat, only Mesflame and Cofazor resist; with Crunch, only Igglyzenta and Mega-Steel Silvino). Intrepid Eater is a phsyical clone of Berserk. While it lacks the immediate effectiveness of Intrepid Sword, it is still a strong ability. It's main weaknesses are that Intrepid Eater is situational, and it's Defense stat leaves it vulnerable to attackers like Lycanserker, Cofazor-Mega, Garborude, and Eeluk.

edit: shuffled cherritaria's stats, this also affects the mega.

Ability Description: Non-contact moves deal x1.3 damage.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
: Knock Off, Flip Turn, U-Turn
: Scald, Giga Drain, Ice Beam
: Recover, Trick, Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Choice Specs, Setup Sweeper(Nasty Plot), Offensive Pivot
Role Justification:
Decimie's ability gives it what is essentially a free Life Orb boost for all non-contact moves. Choice Specs gives it an immediate boost in power allowing it to hit incredibly hard the first turn it's out. Factoring this in with dual STAB, Ice Beam, and U-Turn makes for a potent Choice Specs abuser.

Decimie @ Choice Specs
Ability: Archer Extraordinaire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Giga Drain / Trick
- Ice Beam / Trick
- U-turn
Decimie has an above-average speed tier and a superb boosting move in Nasty Plot, allowing it to boost up and blow past opponents with dual STAB and Bolt Beam coverage. Items vary but can range from Life Orb for even more power or Expert Belt to take advantage of Bolt Beam coverage.

Decimie @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
Ability: Archer Extraordinaire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Scald / Giga Drain
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
Decimie has a threatening ability with good Special Attack and coverage which is always a nice combo for a pivot. With Recover for sticking around and U-Turn for pivoting out if need be, Decimie is able to force certain Pokemon out with its amazing coverage.

Decimie @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
Ability: Archer Extraordinaire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Recover / U-Turn
- Giga Drain / Scald
- Scald / Ice Beam / Rapid Spin / Recover
- Thunderbolt / Ice Beam

New Ability: Restocking = (Regenerator + Harvest)
Ability Description: This Pokemon restores its item on switch-out(if it was lost/consumed).
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
: Hammer Arm, Superpower, Dragon Hammer, Zen Headbutt, Rock Slide, Knock Off, Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Earthquake
: Draco Meteor, Focus Blast, Psychic, Psyshock, Flamethrower
: Recover, Calm Mind, Swords Dance, Wish, Teleport, Sleep Powder, Trick Room
Intended Role: Bulky Offensive Pivot, Trick Room Abuser
Role Justification:
With good bulk and offenses already looking nice on Reunitor, its ability is another selling point. With the ability to gain your item back on switch-out, Reunitor is able to run Eject Pack to turn any move that lowers its Stats into a pivot move. On the Special side, it can abuse powerful options in Draco Meteor or Leaf Storm, along with psyshock to deal with any pesky special walls. On the physical side, it only has Superpower to pivot with, and while having weaker STAB is a drawback, it doesn't force itself out by using its stab. Both sets would likely use Recover to stay around for the long game.

Reunitor-Alola @ Eject Pack
Ability: Restocking
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Recover
- Draco Meteor
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
Reunitor isn't limited to powerful pivoting, with its slow Speed allowing for it to function fairly well on Trick Room teams. Without needing to use Eject Button(the option still remains), Reunitor can stay in and fire off terrifying STABs and coverage.

Reunitor-Alola @ Life Orb
Ability: Restocking
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
- Calm Mind
- Draco Meteor
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
With Reunitor being even bulkier than one of its components(Reuniclus) and having the combo of Wish and Teleport, It has the option to pass massive wishes to teammates and play a more supportive role. This works with being switched out by Eject Pack as well, so there's no need to slow down your momentum.

Reunitor-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Restocking
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Def
Sassy Nature
- Knock Off
- Protect
- Wish
- Teleport

New Ability: Illusive Force = (Illusion + Sheer Force)
Ability Description: Illusion effects; All attacks get a x1.3 boost when Illusion is active.
Ability Clarification: Unlike sheer force, this affects all moves, regardless of whether or not they have effects.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
: Earthquake, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, U-Turn
: Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Flamethrower
: Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Agility
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Agility)
Role Justification:
Zoroking's ability is pretty powerful, being a drawback-less Life Orb, but is balanced by the fact that it's hard to maintain. For players who want to use Zoroking in combination with Garborude and play with illusion, an item like Heavy Duty Boots would be helpful, while those who want the power are most likely to use Life Orb. The setup sets goal is to get in on something that would threaten out the opposing Pokemon, forcing an uncertain switch, and giving Zoroking the opportunity to set up and deal major damage.

Zoroking @ Heavy Duty Boots / Life Orb
Ability: Restocking

…Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Calm Mind, Autotomize

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker / Physical Wallbreaker / Set-Up Sweeper (Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Calm Mind, Autotomize)
Role Justification: Base is a bulky mon with a lot of utility and great offensive presence. It kinda competes with Ferros, but both have their uses (notably, Ferros is bulkier ans has Scald, while this isn't passive). Ultra is a set-up sweeper with decent bulk and great coverage and boosting options on both sides. My Prejudices: ░ I Dislike You ▒ Don't Trust You Immediately, But May Warm Up ▓ I Dsilike You

accelest: seems pretty cool, always a fan of spikes + recovery mons
vanizion: seems more a veil setter and im not interested in veil. could be wrong though it has decent spa
kabuora: already reviewed but im iffy on this mon because it has a lot of shit going for it (high atk/spe, sd + pivoting, good offensive/defensive typing)

cursolele: already reviewed
flyazzle: ive said it in the discord but this mon attempts to compress fire lash stallbreaker and corrosion toxic stallbreaker (a role that hawlazzle already occupies) and somehow is bad at both (no bulk for spamming fire lash, already hits all steels with its stabs). also doubt itll use pivoting when it has two good setup moves
aerigon: good use of dragon/flying to limit the ability. seems like worse tough claws in this instance though
quagdaunt: unnecessary condition to its ability - crawdaunt has the same speed and higher attack and is fine
druddicroak: interesting dynamic! unfortunately i dont like the dynamic

nidosnarl: i see the prankster dual screens and immediately hit the dislike button (couldnt you have picked something else)
venomega: sleep powder + qd? no thanks
toxmmo: besides the awful name i doubt itll go physical because of its low bp stabs. so its just a noicity. awesome
medivul: not bad
torkoniclus: abuses its sun too much
taucannon: i dont get why people get hyped over sheer force normal types, theres nothing notable about them

naughkoal: "off of 80 SpA uninvested, Lava Plume and Fire Blast aren't gonna do too much damage even in the Sun" torkoal does absolutely fine with 85 spa lol. other than that its probably okay, synthesis + this amount of bulk is a bit Amogus though
zymoth: eh. probably my favorite out of the qd subs here so thats something at least
aerofrou: underwhelming (maybe even unviable), heres why:
  • bad stabs and stab synergy
  • low atk for a revenge killer with such a bad typing
  • this is an awful defogger and probably a bad rocker because it has a very bad matchup against common setters (heatki, hattaka, glidol) and removers (weezlord, corveot, glidol)
vikavisk: p cool, forgot to put it on compass but its probably interesting-balanced
excola: right idea for rain abuser

alakalix: already reviewed
toxillade: already reviewed
togedemarill: not much opinion
tapu golo: whimsilotic is cclearly cooler but other defensive water fairies are healthy imo
scythartic: frother in da feuu. doesnt beat glidol if it has koff but otherwise looks ok.

charizee: n1 making a sun setter that you cant use with the one sun abuser
alominja: existent
pingearna: existent
magnerior: existent
stardon: probably too optimized
grenino: existent

prinpombee: nvm this is probably my favorite qd sub in the slate
whimsowdon: already reviewed
sandamar: already reviewed
vullacham: p cool, sucks that it doesnt get v good defensive stabs though

octpert: interesting dynamic
celejourner: aside from being CRINGE (not all primes), rock/flying is p bad and its ability doesnt justify its lacking offensive presence very much
serpanadel: p ok
grancroak: have to use sub for wisp weezlord and i doubt the effectiveness of that but otherwise ok
ninjapult: chromera but none of the cool stuff (recovery, boomburst, koff). leaning toward underwhelming on this one
golisoclus: ngl i liked reunipod more

charkey: as earl said its a drought mon that abuses sun so its not cool
crustboar: i think its nice except it has smash so now its cringe.
araquagon: not much opinion

serlligant: already reviewed
sylchu: not v interested in fakespeed + i think it overlaps with kokovoir because electric/fairy
goodevoir: already reviewed

super underwhelming, not only does it have p bad ghost/rock but also unimpressive spa/spe and a not good ability

this looks awful to face, why would you think ferrothorn with mew movepool is a good idea

landorat: i dont get the premise too much - chomplim mega is already a "sand breaker" (idk why thats something you specifically need cant you just use some other wallbreaker. but its an ok fusion.
duraskewda: already reviewed
kyuremblackfisk: crap typing + ability
scraftorock: eh
mothnoct: eh
chandevika: arent you the dude who keeps saying fire types are oppressed, why would you add another fire mon that also gets rekt by the two fire oppressers

kabula: really dont know what this does
uxaquanid: p cool but it seems real bulky with np so idk if it could be broke
frossect: already reviewed

typhlossal: p fine
swannamence: already reviewed
cherrtaria: 78 atk is lackluster when you have bad stabs
zacoink: 97 atk is lackluster when the ability is not consistent

this aint gen 4 reversal dont work! other than that its bad speed + low atk + bad ability makes it real underwhelming

decimie: p cool
reunitor: eh
zoroking: never liked illusion

magnemarina: ig it doesnt have much of an ability but it seems like a v good stat stick
goodian: no idea what this does. looks like white rider which is a well known d rank mon rip.

ferrozma: already reviewed
magmontop: already reviewed
regpharos: idk i dont really get it, maybe if i had role justifications i could have an opinion

separated compass.svg.png

goodevoir: already reviewed
i wasn't the first person who subbed this. this is my only time submitting this (someone else did this prior, apparently when these in-thread analysis weren't a thing), and as a result i haven't seen the analysis for the first time it was submitted. can i please see an analysis for Goodevoir, or at least see the initial one?

this looks awful to face, why would you think ferrothorn with mew movepool is a good idea
Thanks for the feedback mr. anaconja, I've deleted the Fermew post and I'll try to be in favor of something else. I know I didn't have to delete the entire sub all together but I didn't want it to be too boring.

Ability Description: This Pokémon's Defense is raised by 2 stages after it is damaged by a Dark-type move.
Notable Moves:

Stealth Rock, Shore Up, Toxic, Taunt, Calm Mind, Substitute

Intended Role: Defensive Pivot (Flip Turn), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)/Utility, Physical/Mixed Wall
Role Justification: Due to its ability, Kelossand would be a great Defensive Pivot and be a potent Knock Off deterrent. Aside from that, it would work as a utility based wall setting Stealth Rocks, Scald burning, or spreading Toxic. Its typing works great defensively as it would only have a four times weakness to grass. An example set it could run could look like this: Stealth Rock, Flip Turn, Scald/Toxic, Shore Up. With Shore Up, it even has great potential to be paired on sand teams with Pincurchitar.

New Ability: Wave Technician = (Torrent + Technician)
Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Flip Turn
Hydro Pump, Draining Kiss, Scald, Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Mystical Fire
Calm Mind, Substitute, Trick, Taunt

Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Choice Scarf User, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Mimarina would mostly work as a setup sweeper using Calm Mind and technician boosted Draining Kiss. Unlike the majority of damage based recovery moves, Draining Kiss restores 75% of the damage dealt which would make its slight damage boost go a long way. Its low physical bulk is hard to overcome, but it could potentially run Scald to help spread burn. Its physical bulk is really what offsets it from other Water/Fairy types, and makes it much more reliant on its boosted Draining Kiss for recovery. An example set it could run: Calm Mind, Substitute, Hydro Pump, Draining Kiss. Combining Mr. Mime with Primarina also improves its coverage options through Thunderbolt and Mystical Fire. Along with coverage, it also gets Trick which makes it much more adept at running Choice Scarf. The Torrent effects of its ability Wave Technician would not be as important to its use, but it does give it more wall breaking potential through the use of Substitute or after being whittled down by Toxic.

New Ability: Aquatic Engine = (Water Absorb + Steam Engine)
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Speed is raised by 6 stages and it heals 1/4 of its max HP when hit by Water moves; Water immunity.
Notable Moves:
Knock Off, Rapid Spin
Scald, Earth Power, Flamethrower
Stealth Rock, Toxic, Spikes, Will-O-Wisp

Intended Role: Hazard Setter/Remover, Special Wall, Mixed Wall
Role Justification: With its ability, Carismitoad's typing becomes much more effective defensively (now only weak to ground). It would be a great utility mon through hazard setting/removing potential, spreading status, Knock Off, and its water immunity. While it doesn't have a reliable recovery move, its ability helps its recovery potential.

New Ability: Blazing Beast = (Beast Boost + Blaze)
Ability Description: At 1/3 or less of its max HP, this Pokémon’s highest stat is 1.5x.
Notable Moves:
U-turn, Knock Off
Meteor Beam, Power Gem, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Psyshock, Grass Knot, Sludge Wave
Nasty Plot, Slack Off, Substitute, Stealth Rock, Taunt

Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Meteor Beam, Nasty Plot) / Choice Scarf User
Role Justification: Infilego would work as a Rock-type Special Wallbreaker/Setup Sweeper. This role allows it to really take advantage of STAB Meteor Beam user (while holding Power Herb of course), or alternatively running Choice Scarf. Its Ability would not play a huge role in its usage, but it does give it extra wall breaking potential through the use of its own Substitutes, or after being whittled down by Toxic. While it has great stats and move options to create sets around, it suffers from four move slot syndrome. It has the potential to setup and sweep, but its STAB options can be walled by the likes of Cofazor, Jelliswine, and Chomplim, among others. This, in turn, narrows down its choices for coverage and would make its sets very team oriented. This could make this mon something to be used and be built around very intentionally. Its typing, along with giving it seven weaknesses (three more than Nihilego and Infernape), makes it susceptible to Toxic (unlike Nihilego). This expands the options to get around Infilego, which helps balance it as a whole.

Base Stats: 85 / 90 / 170 / 65 / 75 / 60 [BST: 545] (+3 HP / +3 Atk / +20 Def / +3 SpA / +3 SpD / +8 Spe)
New Ability: Deluge = (Water Absorb + Sheer Force)
Ability Description: Water Absorb effects + This user's Water-type attacks are boosted by 1.3x.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Fishious Rend, Outrage, Body Press, Heavy Slam, Dragon Tail, Super Fang
Stealth Rock, Dragon Dance, Toxic, Protect
Intended Role: Hazards, Physical Tank, Physical Wall, Setup Sweeper

Defensive Checks: Weezlord, Kyottler, Corveot, Jelliswine, Kingstar, Kokovoir, Thornbro-Galar, Toucosta
Defensively Checks: Grousle, Strikados-Galar, Pincurchitar, Glidol, Landmaldo-Therian, Cofazor (Mega), Eeluk, Mesflame, Garborude, a bunch of other physical attackers
Offensively Beats: Non-Jelliswine grounds, grounded steels

Role Justification: A physical tank that, unlike Dongoro, has a mostly cohesive defensive typing combo and can set rocks on large swath of physical attackers in the metagame. Particularly notable is the ability in tandem with Fishious Rend, as this allows it to burst down Ground-types like Glidol that would otherwise easily deny it hazards. The Fishious Rend is not powerful enough, however, to merit a Dracovish-esque Choice Band/Scarf set that just spams the move. Speed is also pretty awful for that role.

New Ability: Sand Force

Role Justification: Ugh, I don't really like the mega. It just creeps the hell out of base form. Probably hits marginally harder with Fishious too and generally a lot stronger in addition to dummy bulk, so I would be fine with this getting banned even if it probably isn't overpowered.

Base Stats: 83 / 127 / 89 / 103 / 83 / 79 [BST: 564] (+2 HP / +19 Atk / +3 Def / +9 SpA / +1 SpD / +6 Spe)
New Ability: Prism Penalty = (Prism Armor + Pickpocket)
Ability Description: When hit by a super-effective move, attacker loses its item. This effect cannot be bypassed.

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Knock Off, Play Rough, Sunsteel Strike
Dragon Dance, Morning Sun, Stealth Rock

Intended Role: Set-Up Sweeper (Dragon Dance)
Role Justification: Pretty straightforward Set-Up Sweper that can set itself apart from out resident Dragon Dancers (Stoudrago and Maroligatr) through typing and coverage. Namely, its typing allows it to beat Weezlord (Sunsteels 2HKOs max def variants and it outspeeds), allowing it to break through the biggest answer to set-up sweepers in the mod. Defensively, its typings got loads of resistances and its ability discourages Super-Effective moves from being used, allowing for more opportunities for it to set up. Offensively though, Steel/Fairy is not so great, which is where the balance factor comes in. Due to always running Dragon Dance and STABs, Morg lacks flexbility in its coverage.

For an example, it needs Earthquake to break through defensive Steels such as Heatki, Ferros and Brontun, but running Earthquake means Mesflame and Corveot resist your other moves. It can opt for Knock Off for Mesflame, but then Ferros and Arctres become an issue. It also has some trouble beating Volquag, with Earthquake only ever 3HKOing, which diversifies our Unaware mons. Lastly, it loses hard to Corveot, as it has no move that can hit it super-effectively.

Base Stats: 83 / 137 / 59 / 137 / 59 / 131
New Ability: Neuroforce

Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Knock Off, Outrage, Play Rough
Dazzling Gleam, Dragon Pulse, Earth Power, Heat Wave
Nasty Plot, Swords Dance

Intended Role: Wallbreaker
Role Justification: I'll be honest I do not think this would fly with those stats. While it still has some coverage issues and a pretty poor synergy in STABs, it has 137 Atk and 131 Speed with Neuroforce. High speed means it no longer has to dedicate a slot to Dragon Dance and allows for more move variety, which was the main factor in balancing the base form. It also can go either physical or special, which makes it way more dangerous. Simply put I do not think this would be allowed.

New Types:

Base Stats: 101 / 85 / 102 / 100 / 102 / 64 [BST: 554] (+20 HP / +0 Atk / +10 Def / +10 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Rough Disgrace = (Rough Skin + Serene Grace)
Ability Description: If hit by a contact move or a move with a secondary effect, attacker loses 1/8 max HP (Does not stack)

Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail
Dazzling Gleam
Defog, Glare, Heal Bell, Roost, Stealth Rock, Wish

Intended Role: Mixed Wall
Role Justification: Wirdly enough we are low on defensive Fairies and even lower on defensive Dragons. Enter Druddikiss! Unlike most other defensive Fairy or defensive Dragon that are currently being used, Druddikiss has great hazard control, working both as a Setter or as a Remover. Other than that, it has naturally high bulk, decent Special attack for a wall and reliable Recovery. The main thing that allows it to stand out though is its ability. Combined with its typing, it allows Druddikiss to switch into moves it resists and chip off the attackers with ease, further making it less passive. Loads of common moves such as Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Scald and Dark Pulse get screwed over by this.

Its showrtcoming is its support movepool being rather lacking though. Dazzling Gleam as its main damage-dealing STAB is only mediocre and offers no utility, and it does not have classic Wall moves such as Knock Off or U-Turn to mess with its opponents.

New Ability: Pastel Fist = (Pastel Veil + Iron Fist)
Ability Description: Efects of both abilities.

Notable Moves:
Flare Blitz, High Horsepower, Play Rough, U-Turn
Stealth Rock, Swords Dance

Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: Good offensive type with good stats. Diversifies both Speed Tiers and Type Roles, giving us our fist speedy physical Fairy. STABs + High Horse have perfect coverage and allows it to have some flexbility in its moves, such as Stealth Rock, U-Turn, Swords Dance or even Slack Off if that's your thing. Its typing also allows it to beat Weezlord as well, since it resists dual stabs and cannot be burned, while having super-Effective STAB itself.

It does however have a pretty mediocre ability though, boosting rather pointless coverage, only really being relevant for beating a few defensive mons in a rather innefective way through removing Toxic on switch.

:swsh/exeggutor-alola::swsh/buzzwole:

definitely not a placeholder
New Types:

Base Stats: 101 / 127 / 127 / 89 / 79 / 67 [BST: 590] (+0 HP / +5 Atk / +15 Def / +0 SpA / +15 SpD / +5 Spe)
New Ability: Ultra Scout = (Frisk + Beast Boost)
Ability Description: On switch-in, identifies the foe's highest stat

Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Dragon Hammer, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Poison Jab
Roost, Sleep Powder, Swords Dance, Teleport, Trick Room, Wish

Intended Role: Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Much like Buzzwole itself, Buzzeggutor can run both offensive and defensive sets. Its typing and stats allows it to sponge Knock Off rather easily, resisting the move and not having any specific item to work well. Egg gives a ton of utility moves for this to abuse, such as Teleport and Knock Off. Offensively, it can run dual STABs + Poison Jab and Swords Dance to break through some walls such as the numerous Steels we have (sans Corveot) and having Roost also allows offensive variants to heal off against possible chip damage from opposing walls.

Its main drawback is its mediocre Special Defense, for both sets are affected by it (Defensive variants have to look out for Special breakers on the opposing side,Offensive variants can't affort to break some walls out of their attacks damaging Buzzeggutor a lot). Offensive variants also struggle against our numerous defensive Fairies and Flyings.
