[SET COMMENTS]

With Regenerator and boasting the highest Special Attack stat in the metagame, Duosion acts as a great defensive pivot and one of the better users of Future Sight. Future Sight is a potent attack that limits switch-ins, while Psychic offers upfront damage to pressure Golbat, Gurdurr, and Tangela. Toxic wears down Dark-types and specially defensive walls like Galarian Corsola, which are expecting to check Double Dance Duosion. Thunder, on the other hand, specifically targets Vullaby and Galarian Linoone for immediate damage. Magic Guard is an alternative to Regenerator that provides Duosion with an immunity to residual damage, but the passive recovery is normally preferred for defensive purposes.

Duosion should switch into weak attacks from passive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Marshtomp in order to heal itself and use Future Sight. Duosion works best when paired with Pokemon that can take advantage of Future Sight threatening out their would-be checks, like Gurdurr, Machoke, Thwackey, and Raboot. Fighting-types also have the added benefit of being able to switch into Galarian Linoone, Klang, and Ferroseed, which do not mind Duosion's Future Sight, while their checks like Golbat, Koffing, and Tangela cannot afford to switch into them due to the threat of Future Sight. Dark-types like Vullaby and Galarian Linoone help to keep Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Lampent, Gastly, and Hattrem in check, which can threaten Duosion or switch into Future Sight respectively. Vullaby and Galarian Linoone can also remove Eviolites, making Duosion's Future Sight more punishing to switch into. Since Duosion can use Future Sight to not only limit but force switch-ins, entry hazard setters such as Ferroseed, Piloswine, and Mareanie make for great partners, with the latter's Toxic Spikes' poison spreading much quicker. Pokemon like Thwackey and Combusken can clean much easier with the help of Duosion's ability to wear down multiple Pokemon throughout a game.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

Duosion can utilize an offensive Trick Room set to sweep weakened teams, but it still struggles with its limited coverage. Setup sets can forgo Acid Armor for Thunder or Toxic, allowing Duosion to break through Dark-types like Vullaby, but this leaves it very vulnerable to physical wallbreakers.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Dark-types**: Dark-types counter Duosion with their Psychic immunity and punish it with Knock Off. However, Choice Scarf Krokorok can be outstalled if Duosion has a prior opportunity to boost, and Dark-types must be wary of switching into Toxic from Future Sight Duosion.

**Special Wallbreakers**: Strong Pokemon like Choice Specs Magmar, Lampent, and Galarian Mr. Mime can switch into Duosion and threaten it before it has a chance to raise its Special Defense enough to outstall them.

**Stallbreakers**: Trick and Switcheroo users like Galarian Mr. Mime and Gastly completely shut down Duosion's sweeping attempts. The same can be said to a lesser extent for Taunt and Encore users like Golbat and Electabuzz.

**Phazers**: Haze Mareanie and Roar Gabite are examples of phazers that stop Duosion from sweeping, but they have to worry about Psyshock or letting Duosion set up too much.

WIth access to Regenerator and boasting the highest Special Attack stat in the metagame, Duosion acts as great defensive pivot and one of the better users of Future Sight. Future Sight is potent attack which limits future switch-ins, while Psychic offers upfront damage instead to pressure Golbat and Tangela (These two could afford to Defog or Knock Off when Duo uses Future Sight, so mentioning Psychic for immediate pressure is more accurate). Toxic is used to wear down Dark-types and Galarian Corsola which are expecting to check Double Dance Duosion. Thunder, on the other hand, specifically targets Vullaby for immediate damage while also providing Duosion with a neutral attack against Steel-types, which resist its STAB move and are immune to Toxic. (Thunder is still very weak against Vullaby and Toxic is likely better to deal with it in the long run. Ferroseed takes nothing from Thunder and its not like Klang and Metang care about it that much either; besides, the point is to Future Sight on them and switch to Gurdurr so the Steels cant switch to Poisons the next turn. Thunder is thus a lot worse in comparison) Magic Guard is an alternative to Regenerator that provides Duosion with an immunity to residual damage, but the passive recovery is normally preferred for defensive pivot purposes.

Duosion should switch into weak attacks from passive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Marshtomp in order to heal itself and use Future Sight. Duosion works best when paired with Pokemon that can take advantage of Future Sight threatening out their would-be checks. Examples of such Pokemon include Fighting- and Dark-types such as Gurdurr, Machoke, and Morgrem (Why Morgrem here? Generally, Dark-types would like Future Sight support so say Gurdurr and Machoke can't tank their Knock Off, but Morgrem beats down these mons and other physical walls without Future Sight already. I'd prefer this to point to be broader with physical attackers and include Thwackey and Raboot, alluding to their checks like Golbat and Mareanie being weak to Future Sight, but if you have a good reason for morgrem just lmk). Fighting-types also have the added benefit of checking both Dark- and Steel-types which can switch into Duosion's Future Sight, while their checks like Golbat, Koffing, and Tangela cannot afford to switch into them with the added Future Sight attack (explaining this syngery + with examples weak to Future Sight). Dark-types like Vullaby and Galarian Linoone help to keep Ghost- and Psychic-types such as Lampent, Gastly, and Hattrem in check, which can threaten out Duosion or switch into Future Sight respectively. Since Duosion can use Future Sight to not only limit but force switch-ins, entry hazard users such as Ferroseed, Piloswine, and Mareanie, make for great partners.
