Thanks to Eviolite and its Ghost-typing, Galarian Corsola is one of the most formidable defensive Pokemon avaliable. Will-O-Wisp furthers this goal by slashing the attack of physical attackers with burns, while Strength Sap will recover most of Galarian Corsola's health when used against foes without any Attack drops. Night Shade gives Galarian Corsola a consistent attack to use that don't depend on its low offensive stats. Stealth Rock is a great pick, making Galarian Corsola one of the most reliable setters of it around. However, Haze is still useful, as some set up sweepers such as Mimikyu can set up multiple times despite the burn otherwise.

Galarian Corsola may be a defensive Pokemon, but its great Stealth Rock setting capabilities let it pair well with sweepers such as Dragapult and Gyarados, who appreciate the chip damage. Speaking of set up sweepers, Special set up sweepers such as Hydreigon and Togekiss are huge problems for Galarian Corsola, being able to easily set up on it. Corviknight is also a particularly problematic sweeper due to its tendency to use Substitute. Taunt users, such as Corvinight and Hydreigon, make Galarian Corsola easy set up bait as well. Defensive Pokemon with Toxic such as Toxapex and Quagsire easily defeat Galarian Corsola as well. Fairy-types such as Mimikyu and Sylveon are helpful against Hydreigon, while Electric-types such as Rotom formes are helpful against Corviknight and Toxapex, with special mention going to Rotom-C for defeating Quagsire. Grass-type Pokemon in general such as Rillaboom and Ferrothorn preform well against Quagsire too.

Alright this is ready for checks! It's pretty short so feel free to add anything if you want QC, but I just didn't have all that much to say about Galarian Corsola for a preview lol

One thing I might slash here, though it is less common is Haze if you have stealth rocks elsewhere on the team it can be good vs stuff that SDs up to +6 even if it is burned.

I hate fighting this thing. Echoing the above Haze comment, I've seen a few use it so I think it deserves a mention at least even if we don't slash it in the main set.

Alright, not only did I slash in Haze (since yeah it seems to be a thing on cart at least), but I also made a few little updates such as mentioning Togekiss. This is ready for a 2nd QC check!

Some mention of the fact that it HATES taunt should be included in the analysis, and that scouting for taunt on physical attackers is highly recommended to not be put into a pinch.

124 Speed EVs can be used to outspeed uninvested Conkeldurr, the number one Pokemon that wants to switch in on your Will-O-Wisp. This lets you hit it with Strength Sap before it can get any ideas about breaking your Corsola.

I think the Wisp / Hex / Calm Mind / Sap deserves a set mention. It compresses a win condition into your wall and gives your Corsola game against threats like Hydreigon, Tyranitar, and Chandelure that think they can force you out for free. With Wisp and Strength Sap, most Swords Dance users struggle to set up on you even without Haze. The one thing you lose your edge against is a Belly Drummer like Lax or Zen Darmanitan.

This thing is really annoying to face; it's definitely a threat at team preview that can force you away from bringing all physical attackers. It might be worth mentioning Wisp + Hex in passing at least, if only to point out that this thing is so weak that even status boosted Hex is often struggling to match Night Shade's damage output, but it definitely doesn't deserve a slash. Haze, on the other hand, does deserve the secondary slash that it already has here for the reasons mentioned by Psynergy and Ika above.

I agree with 1TP that it's worth mentioning that this thing is complete Taunt bait. Basically anything with Taunt (probably most notably Corviknight and Hydreigon, though they both tend to beat Corsola with most sets anyway) that can either set up or heal comfortably 1v1s here and perhaps even gets enough momentum to sweep. Also, while there are fewer Toxic users available and viable this gen, basically any Toxic user that doesn't have sky high attack also comfortably beats this, especially since mons like Toxapex and Quagsire don't care about Strength Sap, are only marginally bothered by Wisp, and have some way to shrug off Night Shade damage.
