[OVERVIEW]

Dark
========

Galarian Moltres is an excellent addition to Dark teams due to its Flying typing providing them with immunity to Ground-type attacks such as Excadrill's Earthquake and ability to take on Fighting-types and other threats such as Keldeo, Tapu Bulu, and Azumarill with Hurricane. Galarian Moltres is an excellent stallbreaker that can take advantage of passive defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Amoonguss with Substitute. Agility allows Galarian Moltres to become a threat to offensive teams, while Nasty Plot allows it to devastate defensive cores such as Amoonguss and Toxapex, letting it to threaten a multitude of teams. However, Galarian Moltres relies on getting Nasty Plot boosts before it can get across meaningful damage. Galarian Moltres's Speed tier also leaves a lot to be desired, as it is threatened by a multitude of faster attackers like Garchomp and Tapu Lele.

[SET COMMENTS]
Nasty Plot allows Galarian Moltres to become a powerful wallbreaker that is able to take on defensive types like Poison in their entirety and threaten physical walls such as Hippowdon, Galarian Corsola, Slowbro, and Mandibuzz. Hurricane allows Galarian Moltres to target Dark-resistant foes such as Kommo-o, Tapu Bulu, and Zarude. Fiery Wrath is Galarian Moltres's most spammable attack, especially with its chance to flinch foes, and targets Pokemon such as Aegislash, Celesteela, and Heatran. Agility allows Galarian Moltres to outspeed threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill, Kingdra in rain, Regieleki, and Choice Scarf Terrakion and makes it a great sweeper against other offensive teams. Berserk allows Galarian Moltres to take advantage of its good natural bulk by boosting its Special Attack on top of Nasty Plot boosts. Maximum Speed investment alongside a Timid nature allow Moltres to outspeed threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill outside of sand, Nidoking, Togekiss, and Swords Dance Landorus-T.

All of Galarian Moltres's teammates appreciate its ability to take on walls such as Amoonguss and Toxapex with Substitute and Nasty Plot and threaten Fighting-types such as Keldeo. Grimmsnarl provides dual screens, giving Galarian Moltres ample opportunities to set up. Tyranitar can switch into powerful special attacks such as Choice Specs Kyurem's Ice Beam and Choice Specs Zapdos's Thunderbolt for Galarian Moltres and set Stealth Rock. Bisharp helps take on Fairy-types such as Clefable for Galarian Moltres and acts as a revenge killer, picking off weakened threats such as Choice Specs Zapdos with Sucker Punch. Weavile can break through Flying- and Dragon-types such as Tornadus-T and Dragonite and pick off weakened faster threats such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Ice Shard. Zarude takes care of Water- and Ground-types such as Swampert, Tapu Fini, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon and forms a stallbreaking core with Galarian Moltres to beat defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex. Krookodile provides an Electric immunity and can stop Hippowdon and Swampert from setting entry hazards with Taunt.

Heavy-Duty Boots allows Galarian Moltres to switch into Stealth Rock freely. Substitute can be used over Agility, allowing Galarian Moltres to set up on Pokemon such as Toxapex and Amoonguss more easily. Air Slash can be used over Hurricane for its better accuracy; however, the power difference is noticeable, such as not being able to OHKO Garchomp after a Nasty Plot boost.

Checks and Counters

Dark
--------
**Revenge Killers**: Faster Pokemon such as Garchomp, Choice Specs Zapdos, and Weavile can easily take out Galarian Moltres. However, after an Agility boost, it can easily take on some of these threats.

**Status**: Paralysis severely limits Galarian Moltres's ability to take on slower Pokemon such as Nidoking and Azumarill and makes it more susceptible to being revenge killed, while being poisoned, especially by Toxic, puts Galarian Moltres on a timer.

**Phazers**: Haze users such as Toxapex and Mantine prevent Galarian Moltres from being able to break through teams with ease. Whirlwind and Roar users such as Hippowdon and Swampert can phaze Galarian Moltres and remove its boosts.

**Faster Taunt Users**: Faster Taunt users such as Tapu Koko, Cobalion, and Zarude prevent Galarian Moltres from accumulating Nasty Plot boosts, allowing their teammates to more easily take it on.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Blissey and Tyranitar easily wall Galarian Moltres, even after several Nasty Plot boosts, and threaten it back with Seismic Toss from Blissey or Rock Blast and Toxic from Tyranitar.

* Galarian Moltres is an excellent addition to Dark teams due to its Flying typing, providing them with immunity to Ground-type attacks such as Excadrill's Earthquake, as well as being able to take on Fighting- and Fairy-type Pokemon such as Keldeo, Urshifu-S, Tapu Bulu, and Azumarill with Hurricane.
* Galarian Moltres is an excellent stall breaker who can take advantage of weaker defensive Pokemon by setting up a Substitute such as Toxapex and Amoonguss. Once behind a Substitute, it can easily accumulate Nasty Plot boosts allowing it to break defensive foes.
* Galarian Moltres's overall good natural bulk allows it to easily set up, as well as easily activate its ability Berserk, which makes it a more fearsome breaker.
* However, Galarian Moltres can only run Nasty Plot sets, making it clear how to deal with it from the start. However, it still great at its job despite this. (Just a nitpick but I don't feel like this sentence contributes very much. If you choose to keep it, don't use "However" as a conjunction twice in a row.)
* Galarian Moltres's speed tier leaves a lot to be desired, as it is threatened by faster attackers like Garchomp and Tapu Lele. (Remove Comma, add period) however, it is still good for a wallbreaker since they are typically slower than it. (If Moltres is a wallbreaker and its lack of speed doesn't affect its role, I'd leave it out.)

[SET COMMENTS]
- Nasty Plot allows Galarian Moltres to become a powerful wallbreaker, (AC) being able to take on Poison teams in their entirety and in addition to threatening physical walls such as Hippowdon, Galarian Corsola, Slowbro, and Mandibuzz.
- Hurricane allows Galarian Moltres to target Dark resists such as Fighting-, Fairy-, and other Dark-type Pokemon such as Kommo-o, Tapu Bulu, and Zarude.
- Fiery Wrath is Galarian Moltres's most abusable attack, especially boosted by its chance to flinch foes. Fiery Wrath allowings Galarian Moltres to target Pokemon such as Aegislash, Celesteela, and Heatran. (Another nitpick, but now mention the chance to flinch foes, fits better here imo)
- Substitute allows Galarian Moltres to safely set up infront of defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex (Toxapex can carry Haze, preventing Moltres-Galar from setting up infront of it), Amoonguss, Mandibuzz, and Specially Defensive Aegislash.
- Agility allows Galarian Moltres to outspeed threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill, Kingdra in Rain, Regieleki, and Choice Scarf Terrakion after a boost from Agility. This makes it a great sweeper against other offensive teams.
- Berserk allows Galarian Moltres to take advantage of its good natural bulk by boosting its special attack whenever a foe's attack puts it below half of its health.
- Mention why it runs Weakness Plolicy
- Maximum Special Attack and Speed EVs alongside a Timid nature allow Moltres to hit as hard as possible while outspeeding threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill outside of sand, Nidoking, Togekiss, and Mamoswine.

- All of Galarian Moltres's teammates appreciate its ability to take on walls such as Toxapex with its Substitute and Nasty Plot, as well as being able to threaten Fighting-type Pokemon such as Keldeo.
- Tyranitar can switch into powerful special attacks such as Kyurem's Freeze Dry and Choice Specs Zapdos's Thunderbolt for Galarian Moltres, as well as being able to set Stealth Rock. Tyranitar can also Toxic foes such as Mantine and Mandibuzz, allowing Galarian Moltres to break through foes better clean through your oppenent's team better. (Feel free to ignore this one, but I just feel like it fits better)
- Urshifu-S can break past Steel- and Dark-types as well as specially defensive Pokemon such as Heatran, Tyranitar, Blissey, and Dragalge for Galarian Moltres. Additionally, it can bring Galarian Moltres in safely against a forced switch with U-turn.
- Weavile can break Flying- and Dragon-type Pokemon for Galarian Moltres such as Tornadus-T, Dragonite, and Kyurem with Triple Axel. On top of this, Weavile can pick off weakened faster threats such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T with Ice Shard.
- Zarude can take care of Water- and Ground-type Pokemon for Galarian Moltres such as Swampert, Tapu Fini, Hippowdon, and Gastrodon. Zarude can also act as a stall breaker alongside Galarian Moltres thanks to Jungle Healing, allowing it to take the burden of just Galarian Moltres to beat more defensive Pokemon such as Toxapex.
- Grimmsnarl can be used on hyper offensive Dark teams as a screen setter, giving Galarian Moltres ample opportunities to set up. Spirit Break also can target Fighting-type Pokemon for damage such as Terrakion.
- Krookodile provides an Electric immunity and a form of Speed control with its Choice Scarf set, checking threats such as Tapu Koko for Galarian Moltres.
- Mandibuzz is not the most common partner for Galarian Moltres due to their shared typing; however, it can be used as an extra Ground immunity, can provide Defog support clearing Stealth Rock from the field, and can bring Galarian Moltres in safely with U-turn.

**Super Effective Attacks**: Electric-, Fairy-, Ice-, Rock-type attacks from Tapu Koko, Zeraora, Tapu Lele, Azumarill, Kyurem, Weavile, and Tyranitar can easily take out Galarian Moltres.

**Revenge Killers**: Faster Pokemon such as Urshifu-S, Garchomp, Choice Specs Zapdos, and Weavile can easily take out Galarian Moltres. However, behind a Substitute, it can easily take on some of these threats, such as Urshifu-S.

**Status**: Paralysis severely dents its ability to take on slower Pokemon such as Nidoking and Azumarill as its speed is cut in half, and being poisoned, especially by Toxic, puts Galarian Moltres on a timer.

**Phazers**: Haze users such as Specially Defensive Toxapex can reset Galarian Moltres's boosts, preventing it from being able to break with less ease. Whirlwind and Roar users such as Hippowdon can phase Galarian Moltres out of battle.

**Faster Taunt users**: Faster Taunt users such as Tapu Koko, Cobalion, and Zarude will prevent it from accumulating boosts or setting up a Substitute, leaving Galarian Moltres more open to being taken out by one of the foe's teammates.

(Mention Stealth Rock, as they may not choose to run Mandibuzz or HDB)

[Specifically mentioning Fairy-types here doesn't make sense since the main goal of using Goltres isn't really to beat Fairy, also it doesn't realiably Azumarill either and Tapu Bulu isn't exactly the most threatening Fairy-type to Dark teams. You can mention another type it's typing specifically helps against if you want but Fighting is the big one.]
* Galarian Moltres is an excellent stall breaker who can take advantage of weaker passive defensive Pokemon such as Amoonguss and Ferrothorn [Toxapex runs Haze so its exactly reliably setting up vs Toxapex. Also you can use a better example than Ferrothorn, just added the first thing that came to my mind.] by setting up a Substitute such as Toxapex and Amoonguss.
However, it still is great at its job despite this. [Could also add that its SpA is middling so it can't effectively do much without Nasty Plot boosts.]
* Galarian Moltres's speed tier leaves a lot to be desired as it is threatened by a multitude of faster attackers like Garchomp and Tapu Lele, however still good for a wallbreaker since they are typically slower than it.

- Maximum Special Attack and Speed EVs alongside a Timid nature allow Moltres to hit as hard as possible while outspeeding threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill outside of sand, Nidoking, Togekiss, and Mamoswine.
* Could add that WP takes advantage of its decent defensive stats, especially when paired with screens to reliably setup on Pokemon that would other take it out with ease.

- All of Galarian Moltres's teammates appreciate its ability to take on walls such as Toxapex Amoonguss with its Substitute and Nasty Plot, as well as being able to threaten Fighting-type Pokemon such as Keldeo.

- Weavile can break Flying- and Dragon-type Pokemon for Galarian Moltres such as Tornadus-T and Dragonite, and Kyurem with Triple Axel. On top of this, Weavile can pick off weakened faster threats such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T that threaten Galarian Moltres, with Ice Shard.

Spirit Break also can target Fighting-type Pokemon for damage such as Terrakion. [Move Grimmsnarl to the top since this Goltres is realistically only seen on screens HO and Grimmsnarl is a must on those teams.]
- Krookodile provides an Electric immunity and a form of Speed control with its Choice Scarf set, checking threats such as Tapu Koko for Galarian Moltres.
- Mandibuzz is not the most common partner for Galarian Moltres due to their shared typing and not fitting well on dual screens oriented teams; however, it can be used as an extra Ground immunity, provide Defog support clearing Stealth Rock from the field, and can bring Galarian Moltres in safely with U-turn.
[* Add a mention about Bisharp since it fits really well on screens teams just like Goltres.]

**Status**: Paralysis severely dents its limits Galarian Moltre's ability to take on slower Pokemon such as Nidoking and Azumarill allowing making and makes it more susceptible to being revenge killed, and while being poisoned, especially by Toxic, puts Galarian Moltres on a timer.

**Phazers**: Haze users such as Toxapex and Mantine prevent Galarian Moltres from being able to break through teams with ease. Whirlwind and Roar users such as Hippowdon and Swampert can phase phaze Galarian Moltres out of battle and remove its boosts. (I assume this makes sense?)

**Faster Taunt Users(capitalize)**: Faster Taunt users such as Tapu Koko, Cobalion, and Zarude will prevent it Galarian Moltres from accumulating Nasty Plot boosts, allowing their teammates to more easily take it on.

**Specially Defensive Walls**: Blissey and Tyranitar can easily wall Galarian Moltres,(AC) even after several Nasty Plot boosts,(AC) and threaten it back with Seismic Toss from Blissey or Rock Blast and Toxic from Tyranitar.

[OVERVIEW]

Dark
========

Other Options
=============

Dark
--------
Heavy-Duty Boots allows Galarian Moltres to switch into Stealth Rock freely. Substitute can be used over Agility, allowing Galarian Moltres to set up on Pokemon such as Toxapex and Amoonguss more freely easily (lessens repetition). Air Slash can be used over Hurricane for its better accuracy; however, the power difference is noticeable, such as not being able to OHKO Garchomp after a Nasty Plot boost.
