Galarian Moltres has become a very potent sweeper on Flying teams that can break through types like Ghost, Psychic, Steel, and Poison after a Nasty Plot boost. Substitute helps it set up on defensive foes while making it easier to gain a Berserk boost. Hurricane and Fiery Wrath hit most of the metagame hard except for specially defensive walls like Blissey and Tyranitar, which teammates like Galarian Zapdos and Dragonite are useful for dealing with. Galarian Moltres dislikes Stealth Rock, so Defoggers such as Landorus-T, Mantine, and Corviknight are helpful. Landorus-T provides an invaluable Electric immunity against troublesome foes like Zeraora and Regieleki. Celesteela or Corviknight is helpful to deal with Ice-types, while Mantine checks threatening Water-types. Skarmory has Spikes and superior physical bulk among the Steel / Flying types to better deal with threats such as Weavile, Mamoswine, and Terrakion. Thundurus-T is a setup teammate that can sweep Water teams after a Nasty Plot and Agility boost.
