Gallade has become a solid wallbreaker in PU as of late with the rise of Passimian. It has seen a fair amount of usage in the Smogon Champions League, as it is able to exploit standard bulky offense structures with its solid STAB combination. Muscle Band gives Gallade the small push of power it needs without making it Choice locked or inflicting recoil. Psycho Cut is run over Zen Headbutt, as the additional power is not needed and Psycho Cut avoids Rocky Helmet chip damage. Thunder Punch is able to hit Charizard and Jellicent. Shadow Sneak picks off weakened Pokemon like Charizard after a Thunder Punch or Mesprit. Gallade appreciates pivots such as Mesprit and Lanturn that can draw in passive Pokemon like Gigalith and Ferroseed. Paralysis support from Sandaconda or Ribombee can work wonders, preventing Pokemon such as Whimsicott and Silvally formes from checking it later. Gallade appreciates special attackers such as Jellicent and Whimsicott to deal with physical walls that it otherwise can struggle with like Sandaconda and Palossand. Spikes support from Pokemon like Alolan Sandslash and Ferroseed can make those Pokemon easier to deal with as well.

Gallade has proven to be a solid breaker in PU as of late. (imo, it's worth mentioning that pass leaving helped it here.) It has seen a fair amount of usage in Smogon Champions League as it is able to abuse standard bulky offense structures. Muscle Band gives Gallade the small push of power it needs while not becoming choice-locked or inflicting recoil. Its STAB combination is great at dismantling common cores like Gigalith and Weezing. (nitpick, but this is sorta redundant given that you already mentioned that it exploits bulky offense a few sentences ago. you could maybe mention its STAB combo there and not here to fix it.) Psycho Cut is ran over Zen Headbutt as the additional power is not needed and Psycho Cut avoids Rocky Helmet chip. Thunder Punch is able to hit Charizard and Jellicent. Shadow Sneak and pick off weakened Pokemon like Mesprit or Charizard after a Thunder Punch. Gallade appreciates pivots such as Lanturn and Mesprit (put mesprit first, switching gig in on lanturn doesn't seem all that ideal.) that can draw in passive Pokemon like Gigalith and Ferroseed. Paralysis support from Sandaconda or Ribombee can work wonders, preventing it from being checked by Pokemon such as Whimsicott or Charizard later. Gallade appreciates special attackers such as Charizard and Whimsicott (nitpick x2, but you've now listed charizard as an example four times. mention smth else here—and maybe also in one of the other instances—for variety.) to deal with physical walls that Gallade otherwise can struggle with like Sandaconda and Palossand. Spikes support from Pokemon like Alolan Sandslash and Ferroseed can make those Pokemon easier to deal with as well.
