This Garchomp set utilizes the combination of Rough Skin and Rocky Helmet to wear down physical attackers such as Kartana and Hawlucha. Earthquake provides Garchomp with a way of dealing consistent damage to threats like Tyranitar and Heatran. 56 Speed EVs allow Garchomp to outpace max Speed Heatran, allowing Garchomp to OHKO it without taking any damage. Fire Blast is coverage for Pokemon that would otherwise wall Garchomp in Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor. Toxic allows Garchomp to help wear down common switch-ins like Landorus-T and Tapu Bulu throughout the course of a match. Another option for chipping opponents is the combination of Stealth Rock and Dragon Tail. The phazing of Dragon Tail combined with the entry hazard damage from Stealth Rock helps pressure common switch-ins like Tangrowth and Tornadus-T. Excellent teammates for Garchomp are cleaners like Ash-Greninja and Shift Gear Magearna that take advantage of the chip damage Garchomp provides.

idk if voltturn support is the best mention w tankchomp. i mean sure, no mon would dislike voltturn support but it’s not like the breakers like medi which especially love it. maybe u could mention cleaners, like ash gren for eg likes how helmet puts kart and lucha into shuriken range and spikes + rocks + dtail can wear down the opp.

This set lacks recovery making Wish Clefable an ideal teammate.

Honestly, I don't agree with this because TankChomp is usually put on bulky offensive teams, where Clefable's just unoptimal to use.

It's probably worth noting that this set's very good at punishing VoltTurn teams.

This is such common knowledge I don't think you have to explain this to the FB audience.

Toxic allows Garchomp to help wear down common switch ins like Landorus-T and Rotom-W throughout the course of a match.

Replace Landorus-T and Rotom-W with Tangrowth and Tapu Bulu. I suppose you could instead take out one of the two and replace them with Tangrowth or Tapu Bulu to give a wider range of targets than bulky Grass-types.
