Monotype Gardevoir (Fairy)

[OVERVIEW]
Fairy
======

* Gardevoir is a great revenge killer and late-game cleaner because of its decent Special Attack and Speed that make it a successful Choice Scarf user.
* Gardevoir's Psychic-type STAB attacks allow it to hit Poison-types that would otherwise wall its teammates, especifically Mega Venusaur.
* Good coverage moves such as Focus Blast and Shadow Ball along with its expansive movepool including Trick and Healing Wish allows it to both hit more foes and support the team.
* Trace lets Gardevoir check Terrain and weather sweepers such as Alolan Raichu and Excadrill by copying their ability.
* Gardevoir lacks physical bulk and cannot take attacks well, making it hard for Gardevoir to switch into attacks. The fragility of Gardevoir also makes it vulnerable to priority moves such as Bullet Punch and Extreme Speed, which means it can be easily revenge killed.
* It doesn't have amazing Speed, making it unable to outspeed other common Choice Scarf users such as Victini and Jirachi.

[SET]

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

* Moonblast has good coverage and hits hard even on neutral targets, making it a great answer to sweepers.
* Psychic is used as a second STAB attack that hits Poison-types such as Mega Venusaur and Toxapex for super effective damage.
* Psyshock is used over Psychic to hit Pokemon with high Special Defense such as Chansey, Volcarona, and Zapdos for more damage than Psychic and OHKO Nihilego.
* Focus Blast is used to hit most Steel-types such as Heatran and Magnezone for super effective damage.
* Healing Wish sacrifices Gardevior to the health of a weakened teammate such as Tapu Koko or Azumarill and cure them of status, giving them a second chance to wallbreak or sweep.
* Trick can be used to cripple defensive Pokemon that are hard for Fairy teams to beat such as Mew and Chansey by forcing them to be locked into one move every time they are switched in.

Set Details
========

* Full Special Attack investment maximizes its damage output, granting it the ability to OHKO Volcarona with Psyshock after Stealth Rock damage, OHKO Excadrill with Focus Blast, and 2HKO Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Skarmory.
* Maximum Speed investment with a Choice Scarf and a Timid nature lets it outspeed threats such as Tapu Koko and Greninja.
* Trace allows Gardevoir to check weather sweepers and Alolan Raichu by copying their abilities, check Landorus by threatening to OHKO it after tracing Sheer Force, threaten to sweep by tracing Beast Boost, and take advantage of defensive abilities such as Intimidate from Landorus-T, Regenerator from Toxapex and Slowbro, and Volt Absorb from Lanturn.

Usage Tips
========

* Being one of the only revenge killers for Fairy teams, Gardevoir should mostly be brought in when a teammate has fainted or through a pivoting move, as it is not bulky enough to switch into attacks easily.
* It is best to save Gardevoir until mid- or late-game where threats are weakened so that it can function effectively as a cleaner.
* When using Psyshock, it must be made sure that it's a 2HKO against bulky threats such as Mega Venusaur. Gardevoir also has to be aware of Dark-types, especially those on Poison teams, that are immune to its Psychic-type STAB moves, neutral to its Moonblast, and capable of using Pursuit to wear it down.
* Gardevoir should use Healing Wish to save an important teammate so that it can do its job. It is important that its recipient can successfully deal massive damage to opponent team as Gardevoir is usually very important pokemon in its team.
* Gardevoir is weak against physical moves even if they aren't super effective and is easily revenge killed by physical priority moves other bar Mach Punch. However, its massive special bulk allows it to take hits when needed, such as from Choice Scarf Nihilego locked into Power Gem after a +1 boost.
* Trick must be used only on walls the team cannot break and only when the wall is for sure going to receive the Choice Scarf in order to prevent turning a threat such as Bisharp into a threatening sweeper. Furthermore, Gardevoir should target walls that lacks offense presence such as Chansey and Lanturn that would not be a threat even with a Choice Scarf. Gardevoir itself also dislikes losing its Choice Scarf, as it hinders its ability to be a revenge killer; thus, it should be used when no threatening sweepers remaining in the opponent team.
* Trace can be used to bring Gardevoir into against certain types of attacks such as switching in Lanturn's Volt Switch by tracing Volt Absorb or into Heatran's Lava Plume by tracing Flash Fire.
* Gardevoir should avoid being paralyzed because it relies on its Speed. Therefore, it should be careful about Whimiscott's Stun Spore and Klefki's Thunder Wave. It is also best to have a teammate remove Sticky Web off the field when using Gardevoir.
* Gardevoir should be wary of using Focus Blast and its Psychic-type attacks when there's a Ghost- or Dark-types on the opponent's team.

Team Options
========

* Azumarill appreciates almost all sets that Gardevoir runs, as Healing Wish restores Azumarill's health back to 100% HP after it has lost some HP so that it can use Belly Drum again, while Trick gives it a free turn to set up on walls. In return, Azumarill can take on some Steel-type attackers that threaten Gardevoir, such as Choice Scarf Excadrill, Heatran, and weakened Mega Scizor. At +6 after setting up a Belly Drum, Azumarill can also OHKO Ferrothorn and Doublade while severely weakening Mega Scizor and Skarmory.
* Magearna is another Pokemon that appreciates Gardevoir's ability to let it set up Shift Gear by crippling an foe using Trick Choice Scarf or healing it back to 100% HP. In return, Magearna can take some Steel-type attacks as well as Poison-type attacks for Gardevoir. It can also bring Gardevoir in easily by using a slow Volt Switch.
* Togekiss appreciate the ability Gardevoir has to heal it back to 100%. In return, it can provide Fire Blast to KO Doublade and Scizor that Gardevoir cannot deal with, spread paralysis, and clean the entry hazards.
* Klefki can provide entry hazard support that helps Gardevoir successfully revenge kill a threat without needing to consider Sturdy and Focus Sash as well as providing dual screens to make Gardevoir able to take more hits. It can also take Poison-type attacks and spread paralysis to further improve Gardevoir's ability as a revenge killer against extremely fast targets such as Mega Aerodactyl. It can also take poison attacks for Gardevoir.
* With its powerful physical attacks, Tapu Bulu threatens special walls that Gardevoir cannot beat. In return, Gardevoir can target Poison-type attackers that can easily KO Tapu Bulu.
* Clefable can provide Stealth Rock support and can support Gardevoir by using Wish and Heal Bell.
* Tapu Koko can effectively use U-turn and Volt Switch to bring in Gardevoir safely.
* Tapu Fini can provide Defog and Misty Terrain to prevent Gardevoir from being slowed by Sticky Web or paralysis. It can also run Nature's Madness to weaken special walls such as Celesteela that Gardevoir struggles against.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Fairy
--------

* Shadow Ball targets Doublade, a huge threat to Fairy teams that can wall Gardevoir otherwise, and also deals decent damage against Psychic-types.
* Memento gives one of its teammate, especially Azumarill and Magearna, a free turn to set up. It can also help Trick Room setters do their job without taking too much damage. However, it is generally worse than Healing Wish.
* Thunderbolt and Energy Ball can also be used to KO Mantine and Gastrodon, which would otherwise wall it. However, these moves do not have great coverage and do not usually help Gardevoir revenge kill its targets.
* A utility set with Will-O-Wisp, Wish, Protect, and Moonblast can be an alternative option for Gardevoir to stall out enemies; however, it is not recommended due to Gardevoir's poor physical bulk and low HP.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fairy
--------

**Steel-types**: Most Steel-type Pokemon such as Heatran, Magearna, Celesteela, and Magnezone can take most of Gardevoir's attacks and hit back with their super effective STAB moves. However, they have to be wary of switching into a Focus Blast. Scizor can use Bullet Punch and KO Gardevoir while being able to take any attack Gardevoir can launch at it. Doublade can take any attack from Gardevoir bar Shadow Ball and set up Sword Dance.

**Revenge Killers**: Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Victini, Nihilego, and faster attackers such as Mega Aerodactyl can force Gardevoir out due to its poor defensive typing and underwhelming Defense.

**Psychic-types**: Most Psychic-types like Jirachi, Celebi, and Meloetta, can resist Gardevoir's Psychic-type STAB attacks while also being able to take Moonblast due to their great bulk.

**Special Walls**: Special walls such as Chansey, Jirachi, and Mew can wall Gardevoir's attacks fairly easily and hit back or inflict status. However, all of them apart from Jirachi have have to beware of Trick.

**Paralysis**: Paralysis halves the speed of Gardevoir, severely hurting its ability to revenge kill.

[Overview]
- the first line should give the reader the main reason to use Gardevoir in the first place
- what threats does the "sufficient speed" allow it to outspeed?
- probably better to remove the part about Healing Wish, that not the main thing about it
- give a few examples of mons that Gardevoir can Trace.
The overview could still have a lot of stuff added to it, it seems a bit bland right now. Probably better to leave the QC to this.
[SET]
(Psychic stab is probably more important than fighting coverage, switched the move order as well as the order of slashes)

Moves
======
- change the order of move descriptions according to how they are in the set
- mention examples for pokemon that are hit harder by psyshock than by psychic, such as chansey and Gastrodon.
- mention examples of possible teammates that benefit from healing wish
- mention teammates that are able to set up after a memento

Set details
=========
- excadrill isnt the bulkiest steel type around, so better to mention that it is able to dent the likes of heatran and Ferrothorn
- remove the part about 4 EVs in sp def
- talk about Trace. How does it help against weather teams and electric teams that depend on Electric Terrain and Surge surfer?

Usage tips
=========
(This section needs a bit of work as well. It is quite bland, and it is better if the QC mentioned the things that need to be added)
- gardevoir isnt a sweeper, and even if it was, it isnt the best. It is more of a revenge killer
- mention how it shouldnt try to switch into strong neutral physical moves as its physical bulk is quite bad
- add that it should only attempt to use psyshock on mega venusaur if it is already weakened beforehand, as mega venu can KO in return with Sludge Bomb

Team Options
============
- what are the steel threats that Azumarill beats but gardevoir doesn't? Good examples would be choice scarf excadrill and a weakened mega scizor.
- mention how togekiss provides both cleric and Defog support as well as has access to Fire Blast and Aura Sphere, and can also spread paralysis
- mention Klefki or I won't be able to sleep at night .-.

[Strategy comments]
Other options
===========
- mention a utility set with healing wish and psyshock but without a choice scarf
- Will o wisp and taunt are very bad moves to have on a scarf set, add those to the utility set
- remove the part about thunder wave, klefki just does it WAY better

Checks and counters
=================
- "bullet punch", "excadrill", "magearna" and "bisharp could just be added into "steel types". Also mention doublade, as It can set up on gardevoir
- no mention of faster poison types like scarf nihilego, scolipede and scarf gengar? These, alolan muk and mega venusaur could have a single category as "poison types"
(A lot of things still probably need to be added, leaving it to QC)

Thank you for all these suggestions! I have implemented most of them into the analysis. (Yes, including the Klefki you've requested :P) However, I do feel that Alola Muk and Bisharp are worth mentioning alone because they are capable of doing stuff that others of the same type cannot really do. Oh and I also think that Bullet Punch comes from places more than Steel type pokemon so I left it where it is. I also didn't understand why Mega Venusaur should be mentioned to as it basically gets 2hko'd by Psyshock anyways, and Sludge Bomb shouldn't be too much of a problem to Fairy teams, so I did not put it in. Please give me any other ideas you have :)

Moves
========

* Moonblast is a solid STAB attack that hit hard on neutral targets. Why is Moonblast useful I don't get what is being said
* Focus Blast is used to hit most Steel-types with super effective damage as well as OHKO'ing normal sand rush set Excadrill. awkward wording. What Steel-types?
* Psyshock is used as a second STAB that hits Poison types with super effective damage as well as hitting special walls with more damage than Moonblast. Psychic can be used over Psyshock for more sheer power. Examples?
* Shadow Ball provides an excellent coverage along with Moonblast, hitting Psychic types such as Mega Metagross and Alolan Raichu with super effective damage that would otherwise threaten the team.
* Trick can be used to cripple defensive pokemon Pokemon that is hard for fairy type to beat such as Toxapex and Chansey. Confusing
* Healing Wish gives it the ability to cure a teammate capable of turning the table. What?
* Memento gives its teammate a free turn to set up.
Set Details
========

* Full Spa EV maximizes its damage output as well as granting it ability to ohko OHKO Excadrill with Focus Blast.
* Maximum Spe investment with Choice Scarf and Timid let it outspeed threats such as Tapu Koko, Crobat, Greninja and Weavile. It also make it speed tie with other 80 base Scarfs such as Hoopa-U. Add Scarfers that it outspeeds
* 4 EVs on SpD let it take less damage on the special side.Fluff unnecessary
* No Mention of the ability and why it is useful

Usage Tips
========

* Being the only potential sweeper for fairy type, it is best to save Gardevoir to mid-late game where threats are weakened. Calm Mind Clefable is a sweeper not Gardevoir? Gardevoir is more of a revenge killer / Late game cleaner
* Other bulky Pokemon the team has that threaten the opposing team can be brought in the battle more frequently and do not need to be reserved healthy due to the existence of Healing Wish. Run-on / Very Confusing
* Trick must be used carefully in order to prevent turning an foe's Pokemon into a threatening sweeper. How examples? How should Trick actually be used
* Trace and Choice Scarf allows it outspeed threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Surge Surfer Alola Raichu, providing fairy team a chance to revenge kill these otherwise unkillable sweepers.awkward wording and In Sand and Electric Terrain should be added
* Status on Gardevoir mainly paralysis and examples
* Gardevoir should be careful when it uses Psyshock and Focus Blast because of dark- and Ghost-types. Provide relevant Examples as well

Team Options-Many Team Members are missing
========

* Azumarill appreciate almost all sets Gardevoir runs, as Healing Wish restores Azumarill's health back to 100% for another Belly Drum / more switch in's for CB set, while Trick and Memento gives it a free turn to set up Belly Drum. In return, Azumarill can take some Steel type attacks that threaten Gardevoir (What Steel-type attacks?). Most Belly Drum so Belly Drum Azumaril is not a good Pokemon to use Healing Wish on most of the time. Belly Drum however at plus 6, it can OHKO steel-types such as Ferrothorn Doublade or severly weakne them Mega Scizor and Skarmory
* Magearna is another pokemon that appreciates Gardevoir's ability to let it set up Shift Gear or heal it back to 100%. In return, Magearna can take some Steel type attacks as well as Poison type attacks for Gardevoir when its locked into a move. Steel-type attacks
* Other Choice Scarf users such as Togekiss appreciate the ability Gardevoir has to heal them back to 100%.Contradiction from first
sentence and Togekiss and Gardevoir and Togekiss are the only two viable Choice Scarfers
* Klefki Screens, Status, Spikes, checks Scizor if it has Foul Play
* Tapu Fini has Defog. Misty Terrain prevents Status
* Tapu Koko Volt Switch /U-turn give Gardevoir good switch in opportunities
* Clefable Stealth Rock / Wish Support
* Diancie Stealth Rock / Heal Bell
* Tapu Bulu good Wallbreaker with Choice Band
* Defensive Togekiss with Thunder Wave, Heal Bell and Defog. Ground Immunity. Possible Stallbreaker with Nasty Plot

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* Will-O-Wisp and Taunt are also possible moves that can be used on Gardevoir to cripple physical attackers / prevent set ups, but are not great moves to be locked into.
* Thunder Wave allows it to cripple faster Pokemon and can reduce the negative effect of giving the opponent a scarf via trick.
* Trick Room is an alternative set Gardevoir can have, which its slow teammates appreciates a lot. However its own damage output and bulk are not strong enough under trick room. Examples
* Thunderbolt and Energy Ball. Why they are useful? Why they aren't as good as other coverage moves
* Defensive Set Only uses Wil-O-Wisp
* Wish + Protect
* Memento
* Non Choiced Sets

Checks and Counters-The Whole section lacks major details
===================

**Bullet Punch**: Frail on the Physical side, Gardevoir is extremely afraid of Bullet Punch, which can almost always 2hko it and sometimes even ohko when used by a powerful attacker. Scizor is only relevant user of BP and it's a Steel-type

**Alolan Muk**: Being immune to Psychic and Neutral to Fighting and Fairy, Alola Muk is a universal stop to all variants of Gardevoir bar Will-o-wisp. However, it cannot do much to stop Gardevoir using Support moves, and dislike being given a Choice Scarf. What does Alolan Muk do to Gardevoir in return?

**Bisharp**: Bisharp can easily switch into Gardevoir's support moves such as Trick or Memento and take advantage of it while trapping Gardevoir if it is using Psychic. However, Bisharp gets ohko'd by Focus Blast. Bisharp does not like Moonblast and is outsped and Sucker Punch nerf hurts it greatly

**Magearna**: Magearna can take Gardevoir's attacks easily while ohko'ing back with Flash Cannon / set up with Shift Gear / Trick Room. However it dislike being given a Choice Scarf. Isn't that a Steel-type

**Steel Types**: Steel type Pokemon can take most of Gardevoir's attacks and hit back with their super effective STAB. Examples? They fear Focus Blast

**Faster Pokemon / Scarfs**: Pokemon faster than Gardevoir can force it out easily due to its underwhelming defenses. Examples and what do they do in Return? Do they switch in? Common Base 100 Scarfers?

[OVERVIEW]
Fairy
======

* One of the only Fairy type Pokemon with high Spa as well as sufficient speed, allowing it to outspeed threats such as Nidoqueen and Heatran. The stats also allow it to use Choice Scarf, which makes it a great revenge killer and can also fill the roll of a sweeper. This is unclear, particularly the part with "sufficient Speed"
* Great offensive typing that can hit poison types such as Nihilego, Toxapex, Crobat and Gengar extremely hard with the second STAB move.
* Good coverage such as Focus Blast and Shadow Ball along with its expansive movepool including Trick, Healing Wish and Will-O-Wisp that can both hit more foes & support the team. Scarf WoW is really questionable; maybe OO worthy, but not for the intro.
* Trace as an ability that when used cleverly can be extremely useful, giving it a 30% heal when switching out after tracing regenerator, or a free SpA boost after a faint when tracing Soul-Heart / Beast boost, or trace weather/terrain speed boosting moves to be able to outspeed them. It's not 30%; either be precise, or don't mention amount.
* Only viable Healing Wish user and one of the only viable Memento user, which is very important for Fairy due to the need of multiple teammates' lack of recovery and need to set up such as Azumarill and Magearna.

* Moonblast is a solid STAB attack with good coverage that when pared with Gardevoir's attack hit hard even on neutral targets, making it a great answer to sweepers
* Psyshock is used as a second STAB that hits Poison types with super effective damage as well as hitting special walls with more damage than Moonblast. Psychic can be used over Psyshock for more sheer power, giving it the ability to 2hko toxapex.
* Focus Blast is used to hit most steel types, such as Heatran and Magnezone, with super effective damage.
* Healing Wish gives it the ability to cure a teammate capable of winning the game, such as Tapu Koko or Azumarill.
* Even though Psyshock is super effective against poison types, it must be made sure that using it against bulky Poison types such as Mega Venusaur will guarentee a kill, otherwise they can hit back with the super effective STAB move. This goes in usage tips
* Shadow Ball provides an excellent coverage along with Moonblast, hitting Psychic types such as Mega Metagross and Alolan Raichu with super effective damage that would otherwise threaten the team. Shadow Ball doesn't even KO raichu-alola, and bullet punch means you will never really hit Metagross with it; they won't sack a fairy-type counter like that unless they are a steel team.
* Trick can be used to cripple defensive Pokemon that is hard for fairy type to beat such as Toxapex and Chansey by forcing them to be locked into one move every time they are switched in.

Set Details
========

* Full Spa EV maximizes its damage output as well as granting it ability to ohko Excadrill with Focus Blast as well as 2hkoing Ferrothorn, Heatran and physically defensive Skarmory.
* Maximum Spe investment with Choice Scarf and Timid let it outspeed threats such as Tapu Koko, Crobat, Greninja and Weavile. It also make it speed tie with other 80 base Scarfs such as Hoopa-U.
* Trace allows it to grab Sand Rush / Swift Swim / Surge Surfer from opponent, making it a great revenge killer. It also allows it to potentially sweep successfully when tracing Beast Boost or Soul-Heart. Tracing Regenerator can let it survive longer which can be useful in cases where a longer match takes place.

Usage Tips
========

* Being one of the only revenge killer for fairy type, it is best to save Gardevoir to mid-late game where threats are weakened.
* Other bulky Pokemon the team has that threaten the opposing team can be brought in the battle more frequently, and do not need to be kept healthy as Healing Wish can restore them back to full hp. Healing wish is single use, saps momentum, and can be averted By Koing gardevoir. This encourages too much reliance on something that fundamentally isn't.
* Gardevoir is weak against physical moves even if it is neutral, and is not so good against physical priorities bar Mach Punch. Try to bring it into the game after a teammate has fainted or through a slow ut/vs/bp.
* Trick must be used carefully in order to prevent turning an foe's Pokemon, such as Bisharp, into a threatening sweeper. It should only be used against defensive Pokemon such as Chansey or Toxapex that would not be a threat even with a scarf. Mention how Gard needs scarf to do it's role.
* Trace and Choice Scarf allows Gardevoir to outspeed threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Surge Surfer Alolan Raichu under Sandstorm and Electric Terrain accordingly and KO them.
* Gardevoir should avoid being paralysed due to its main niche being fast. Therefore, it should be careful about Whimiscott's Stun Spore and Klefki's Thunder Wave. It is also best to have a teammate remove Sticky Web off the field when using Gardevoir.
* Due to Choice Scarf locking Gardevoir into one move, it should be wary when using Focus Blast and Psychic STAB as Ghost and Dark types.

Team Options
========

* Azumarill appreciate almost all sets Gardevoir runs, as Healing Wish restores Azumarill's health back to 100% for more switch in's for CB set, while Trick gives it a free turn to set up Belly Drum. In return, Azumarill can take on some steel attackers that threaten Gardevoir, such as Choice Scarf Excadrill, Heatran, or weakened Mega Scizor. * Togekiss appreciate the ability Gardevoir has to heal them back to 100%. In return, it can provide Fire Blast to kill Doublade and (Mega) Scizor that Gardevoir cannot deal with, spread paralysis and clean the entry hazards.No parentheses, list both or one.
* Klefki can provide entry hazards support that helps Gardevoir successfully revenge kill a threat without the need to consider about Sturdy & Focus Sash as well as providing screens to make Gardevoir able to take more hits. It can also spread paralysis to further increase Gardevoir's ability as a revenge killer against extremely fast targets such as Mega Aerodactyl.
* Clefable and Diancie can both provide Stealth Rock support and can support Gardevoir using Wish / Heal Bell.
* Tapu Koko can effectively use U-turn or Volt Switch to bring in Gardevoir safely. Other pivots, where are they.
* Tapu Fini can provide Defog and Misty Terrain that prevents Gardevoir being slowed by Sticky Web or paralysis.

Fairy
--------

* Memento gives one of its teammate, especially Azumarill and Magearna, a free turn to set up Belly Drum / Shift Gear without having to fear being killed in the set up. It can also help Trick Room setters to do their job without getting too much damage. KOed, not killed.
* Will-O-Wisp and Taunt are also possible moves that can be used on Gardevoir to cripple physical attackers / prevent set ups, and can be used along with Psyshock and healing wish as an utility set. Taunt on scarf??
* Trick Room is an alternative set Gardevoir can have, which its slow teammates appreciate a lot. However its own damage output and bulk are not strong enough under trick room.
* Thunderbolt and Energy Ball can also be used against certain types, however they usually do not have a great coverage and does not help Gardevoir become a better revenge killer in most cases.
* Wish + Protect can be an alternative option for Gardevoir to stall out opponents, however it is not recommended due to its poor physical bulk and low hp hindering the ability to survive or heal a teammate. Mention that this is on a utility set.
Modest?

**Steel Types**: Most Steel type Pokemon such as Heatran and Magnezone can take most of Gardevoir's attacks and hit back with their super effective STAB. However they have to be wary of switching into a Focus Blast. Some Steel type Pokemon such as Scizor and Mega Metagross can use Bullet Punch and ko Gardevoir, and Scizor can also take any attack Gardevoir can launch at it. Doublade can take almost any attack from Gardevoir bar Shadow Ball and set up Sword Dance too.

**Poison Types**: A lot of Poison type Pokemon, such as Toxapex and Mega Venusaur, resist Gardevoir's Fairy STAB and are able to either set up entry hazards or KO back with their super effective STAB moves. However, all Poison type Pokemon bar Alolan Muk, Skuntank and Drapion have to be aware of Gardevoir's other STAB which are super effective against them. Those have to be weary of moonblast; just say that no poison type avoids both STAB moves.

**Faster Attackers**: Faster Poison / Steel type Sweepers such as Scarfed Excadrill, Nihilego, Gengar as well as Speed Boost Scolipede can comfortably switch into a move they resist, outspeed Gardevoir and ohko'ing with their super effective STAB while they do not have to be worried about being revenged killed by it. Other sweepers that are faster than Gardevoir such as Mega Aerodactyl can also force Gardevoir out due to its underwhelming defenses, however they are not able to switch into Gardevoir's attacks. Include Choice Scarf psychics/fires and bulky scarfers here.

Bulky special Walls (add): Chansey, etc.

Psychic Types: Victini, Mew, Celebi

Thank you for these suggestions! I have implemented most of them, however I did not understand why Celebi can be a huge threat to Gardevoir, can you explain this part to me?
It's not a huge threat--that's why it's in the last category. I was just listing a few psychic types; any will do, like slowbro or etc. I just picked that one because it's a decently relevant psychic type, use whatever you want there as long as the point of psychic types taking psyshock and not dieing instantly to Moonblast is made. In retrospect though, probably pick something other than mew, because you wont be clicking Psyshock versus Mono-Psychic ever.

OVERVIEW

+ "Great offensive Gardevoir's Psychic typing that can hit poison types such as Nihilego, Toxapex, Crobat and Gengar extremely hard with the second STAB move."
+ What specific flaws do Gardevior face????
 • Gardevior has awful physically defensive bulk (68/65), which makes it easier to revenge kill and give examples of those that can take out Gardevior because of that.
 • Base 80 Speed is pretty mediocre, especially for a Choice Scarf user like Gardevior that it can't hope to outspeed other Choice Scarf users. Victini is a good example.
 • Gardevior having trouble breaking through specially defensive Pokemon, especially when locked into a Choice Scarf as they force it to switch out. (give examples)
 • Mention how Steel-types are very troublesome for Gardevior, especially that it has to rely on Focus Blast to check them and having Shadow Ball to check Doublade with.

+ Mention some examples that hit specially defensive walls for more damage over Psychic. Things like Chansey, Volcarona, Zapdos, etc. Also, you can add that it KOes Nihilego over Psychic.
+ Put Psychic on another line and make sure you switch the bullet points of Trick and Shadow Ball.
+ "Healing Wish sacrifices Gardevior to fully restore a weakened teammate's health and curing them of status, giving them a second chance to wallbreak or
+ I'd also add Doublade to Shadow Ball, which would otherwise wall its other attacks. It resist both its STAB moves and is immune to Focus Blast.

Set details
+ I'd argue to add other things that Gardevoir can pick up with Trace. You seem to only be talking about Trace being able to copy abilities for Soul Heart, weather, and those that require terrain support (Surge Surfer) but you're missing other qualities on here that Trace has: for example, Gardevoir can utilize Volt Absorb from Lanturn (and I know it's not that common but Thundy-T (don't add that)) to steal momentum if they tend to use Volt Switch or any of their Electric moves, can copy Heatran's Flash Fire ability, check Sheer Force Landorus and have a possible chance to KO it (given that you're running Stealth Rock Clef), Storm Drain Gastrodon, and Intimidate Gyarados.

Usage Tips
+ You should also add even when Gardevoir can hit other Poison-types super effectively, it should be wary of tho Alolan Muk switching in. If that were to happen, Gardevoir would be forced to switch out.
+ Please elaborate more on:
- * Other bulky Pokemon the team has that threaten the opposing team can be brought in the battle more frequently if needed, and do not need to be kept healthy as Healing Wish can restore them back to full hp.
+ What bulky Pokemon can be brought in the battle more frequently, Clefable? Please give an example or two. ^
+ Well, Gardevoir just has trouble breaking through special walls so it should utilize Trick for them it can't defeat them.
+ "Due to Choice Scarf locking Gardevoir into one move, it should be wary when using Focus Blast and Psychic STAB as Ghost and Dark types."
- I would want to reword this. "Gardevoir should be wary of using Focus Blast and its Psychic-type attacks when there's a presence of Ghost- or Dark-types on the opponent's team. "

Team Options
+ I don't like Choice Band Azumarill being mentioned because it's almost always Belly Drum and Fairy-types utilize that set more. It's used much more often on Water teams but the others after me can decide if that stays. and mention Knock Off Azumarill is able to OHKO Ferrothorn and Doublade.
+ You don't need to mention Scizor twice. Just say "Mega Scizor."
+ You could also add that Magearna and Klefki are both immune to Poison-type attacks thanks to their Steel typing, making them a great switch in keeping Gardevoir from taking any damage from that.
+ Whimsicott can paralyze fast / Choice Scarf users because of Prankster Stun Spore. This is also good for things like Sand Rush Excadrill as well.
+ Like Vid said, add Tapu Bulu to your Team Options, it's a great wallbreaker holding Choice Band and it helps check special walls that Gardevoir will tend to struggle against.
+ Add that Tapu Fini's Nature Maddness is great for weakening special walls for Gardevoir, especially those that lack recovery (like Heatran).

Other Options
* Thunderbolt and Energy Ball can also be used against certain types, however they usually do not have a great coverage and does not help Gardevoir become a better revenge killer in most cases.
^ Please elaborate more on this. What types / Pokemon in specific does this allow Gardevoir to check easier compared to its main moves in the set above?

Checks and Counters
+ Add Magearna and Celesteela to Steel-types. Both of these can take Gardevoir's attacks very will and KO it with Flash Cannon and Heavy Slam, respectively.
+ Add Alolan Muk to Poison-types. One of the main reasons being is Gardevoir is Choice Scarf and can switch-in on a predicted Psychic move. Pretty much leaves Gardevoir vulnerable for Pursuit trap and can potentially get poisoned which limits its longevity as a revenge killer. Some variants of Alolan Muk also run Assault Vest, which takes even less damage from Moonblast.
+ Would make it into *Choice Scarf / Fast Attackers* "Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Nihilego, and Gengar...."

For the most part, it has gotten better. Please tag me as soon as you're done so I can read through this again for anymore changes, before giving you the thumbs up!

Edit: Btw make sure that Hoopa-U and Mega Metagross mentions are removed as well.

You don't need to mention Heatran, it's just something to further my point in mentioning Nature's Madness on Fini lol.

For the most part it looks good enough for my standards.

Congrats on your first QC check!

[OVERVIEW]
Fairy
======

* One of the only Fairy type Pokemon with high base SpA of 125 as well as a good base 80 Spe that allows it to outspeed threats such as Nidoqueen and Heatran as well as using Choice Scarf, which makes it a great revenge killer and can also fill the roll of a sweeper. However, the speed it has is not stellar, making it unable to outspeed other common Choice Scarf users such as Victini and Jirachi. Don't mention its actual stats of 80 and 125, when looking at the analysis page the reader will see the exact stat so it shouldn't be in the analysis. Also, split the line, the second part shouldn't be in the first line of the overview, especially since it is a negative characteristic which usually tend to go nearer the end of the overview.

* Gardevoir's Psychic typing allows it to hit poison types such as Nihilego, Toxapex, Crobat and Gengar extremely hard with the second STAB move.
Reword this to something like: Gardevoir's solid Psychic STAB allows it to hit.. Idk how to word it exactly since it has 2 options in psychic and schock, but saying "the second STAB move" isn't right

* Good coverage such as Focus Blast and Shadow Ball along with its expansive movepool including Trick and Healing Wish that can both hit more foes & support the team.
* Trace as an ability that when used cleverly can be extremely useful, healing 1/3 of its maximum hp when switching out after tracing regenerator, or a free SpA boost after a faint when tracing Soul-Heart / Beast boost, or trace weather/terrain speed boosting moves to be able to outspeed them.
I don't think you exactly need to explain all the abilities. I'd just say Trace can be very useful as it allows Gardevoir to take advantage of foe's abilities such as Regenerator, (Eh, soul heart is debatable, Magearna really shouldn't be taken out by Gard v.v) Best Boost, Volt Absorb, and most importantly, Weather/Terrain speed boosting abilities.

* Only viable Healing Wish user and one of the only viable Memento user, which is very important for Fairy due to the need of multiple teammates' lack of recovery and need to set up such as Azumarill and Magearna. Um, Memento?? I mean Misaka didn't say anything but I don't think thats viable.. Especially when you can use Healing Wish/Trick which is much better in the slot.

* Gardevoir lack physical bulk and cannot take attacks well, making it hard for Gardevoir to switch in an attack. The fragility of Gardevoir also makes it vulnerable to priority moves such as and can be easily revenge killed.

*You can put the split line of first line here.

* Steel type forces Gardevoir to rely on the 70% accurate Focus Blast which isn't a preferred option. It also needs Shadow Ball to be able to hit Doublade. I'm not so sure about having this in overview, sounds more like something for when ur talking about them in moves section.

Moves
========

* Moonblast is a solid STAB attack with good coverage that when pared with Gardevoir's great Special Attack hits hard even on neutral targets, making it a great answer to sweepers.
* Psyshock is used as a secondary STAB that hits Poison types with super effective damage, OHKO'ing Nihilego as well as hitting pokemon with high SpD such as Chansey, Volcarona and Zapdos with more damage than Moonblast. Psychic can be used over Psyshock for more sheer power, giving it the ability to 2hko Toxapex.
* Focus Blast is used to hit most steel types, such as Heatran and Magnezone, with super effective damage. - I'd mention Steel still has multiple answers to this such as Celesteela and Magearna.
* Healing Wish sacrifices Gardevior to fully restore a weakened teammate's health and curing them of status, giving them a second chance to wallbreak or curing a teammate capable of winning the game, such as Tapu Koko or Azumarill. - Why are Tapu Koko and Azumarill capable of winning the game moreso than other Pokemon, that's just matchup dependent, I'd just remove the example all together.
* Trick can be used to cripple defensive Pokemon that is hard for fairy type to beat such as Toxapex and Chansey by forcing them to be locked into one move every time they are switched in.
* Shadow Ball provides an excellent coverage along with Moonblast, hitting Psychic types such as Metagross and Jirachi with super effective damage that would otherwise come in on Gardevoir easily and threaten the team. It also hits Doublade, a pokemon which Gardevoir otherwise would not be able to beat.

Set Details
========

It also make it speed tie with other 80 base Scarfs such as Chandelure and Togekiss. Further more, it lets Gardevoir outspeed threats that uses Choice Scarf such as Magnezone, Buzzwole and Diggersby. The 2nd and 3rd sentence of this are literally the same thing except it's tying with one. Just say it allows Gardevoir to outspeed common scarfers such as.. while tying with..
Also, remove Scarf Diggersby imo, it's not very viable compared to band.

* Trace allows it to grab Sand Rush / Swift Swim / Surge Surfer from weather abusers such as Excadrill or Kingdra(not opponet), making it a great revenge killer against these threats. It also allows it to potentially sweep successfully when tracing Beast Boost or Soul-Heart(rmr what i said about soul heart, idk w/e QC says). Tracing Regenerator can let it survive longer which can be useful in cases where a longer match takes place. Tracing Volt Absorb from Lanturn kills the opponent's momentum as it stops opponent from using Volt Switch. Tracing Intimidate allows it to cripple physical attackers such as Gyarados, and tracing Sheer Force can give it a chance of beating Landorus if Stealth Rock had been set up. In some cases, Gardevoir can also trace abilities such as Flash Fire, Water Absorb and Storm Drain to avoid taking damage.

- You say "beating" Landorus, think u mean OHKOing.

Usage Tips
========

* Being one of the only revenge killer for fairy type, it is best to save Gardevoir to mid-late game where threats are weakened. Gardevoir should be saved for late game because it is a cleaner, not a revenge killer. It can revenge throughout most of the game.
* Even though Psyshock is super effective against poison types, it must be made sure that using it against bulky Poison types such as Mega Venusaur will guarentee a kill, otherwise they can hit back with the super effective STAB move. It also should be aware of the presence of Alolan Muk, which not only would stop it from sweeping but would also trap it with Pursuit.
* Other bulky Pokemon the team has such as Magearna and Tapu Fini that threaten the opposing team can be brought in the battle more frequently if needed, and do not need to be kept healthy as Healing Wish can restore them back to full hp.
* Gardevoir is weak against physical moves even if it is neutral, and is not so good against physical priorities bar Mach Punch. Try to bring it into the game after a teammate has fainted or through a slow ut/vs/bp. - Just say it has poor physical bulk thus it is best to bring it in after a teammate has fainted and spell out the moves completely.
* Trick must be used only on walls the team cannot break and only when the wall is for sure going to receive the Choice Scarf in order to prevent turning an foe's Pokemon, such as Bisharp, into a threatening sweeper. It should only be used against defensive Pokemon such as Chansey or Toxapex that would not be a threat even with a Choice Scarf. Gardevoir itself also dislike losing its Choice Scarf as it hinders its ability to be a revenge killer. - "Trick must only be used on walls" "It should only be used against defensive mons" Thats repetitive.
* Gardevoir should be wary of using Focus Blast and its Psychic-type attacks when there's a presence of Ghost- or Dark-types on the opponent's team.

Team Options
========

At +6 after setting up a Belly Drum, it can also OHKO Ferrothorn and Doublade while severely weakening Mega Scizor and Skarmory.
* Magearna is another pokemon that appreciates Gardevoir's ability to let it set up Shift Gear by crippling an foe using Trick Choice scarf or healing it back to 100%. In return, Magearna can take some Steel type attacks as well as Poison type attacks for Gardevoir when its locked into a move. It can also bring Gardevoir in easily by using a slow Volt Switch.
* Togekiss appreciate the ability Gardevoir has to heal them back to 100%. In return, it can provide Fire Blast to kill Doublade and Scizor that Gardevoir cannot deal with, spread paralysis and clean the entry hazards. Why does Togekiss especially appreciate HW more than other mons??
* Klefki can provide entry hazards support that helps Gardevoir successfully revenge kill a threat without the need to consider about Sturdy & Focus Sash as well as providing screens to make Gardevoir able to take more hits. It can also spread paralysis to further increase Gardevoir's ability as a revenge killer against extremely fast targets such as Mega Aerodactyl. It can also take poison attacks for Gardevoir.
* Tapu Bulu threatens Special walls, that Gardevoir cannot beat, with its powerful physical attacks , and its ability also gives Gardevoir some kind of passive healing.
* Whimiscott can bring Gardevoir in safely using U-turn as well as providing Memento support to let it revenge kill some threats that otherwise threaten it. It can utilize Stun Spore to slow down faster threats such as Choice Scarf Excadrill. I'm not so sure how viable Whimsicott is, especially now with Tapu Bulu.
* Clefable and Diancie can both provide Stealth Rock support and can support Gardevoir using Wish / Heal Bell. Diancie isn't viable
* Tapu Koko can effectively use U-turn or Volt Switch to bring in Gardevoir safely.
* Tapu Fini can provide Defog and Misty Terrain that prevents Gardevoir being slowed by Sticky Web or paralysis. It can also run Nature's Madness to weaken Special walls such as Celesteela that Gardevoir struggle against.

Fairy
--------

* Memento gives one of its teammate, especially Azumarill and Magearna, a free turn to set up Belly Drum / Shift Gear without having to fear being killed in the set up. It can also help Trick Room setters to do their job without getting too much damage.
* Modest can be used over Timid for more damage, however it hinders its ability to revenge kill 70 base speed scarfs as well as Tapu Koko.
* Will-O-Wisp is also a possible move that can be used on Gardevoir to cripple physical attackers, and can be used along with Psyshock, Taunt and healing wish as an utility set to cripple slower physical attackers, stop slower set ups and heal a teammate back to full hp.
* Trick Room is an alternative set Gardevoir can have, which its slow teammates appreciate a lot. However its own damage output and bulk are not strong enough under trick room.
* Thunderbolt and Energy Ball can also be used to kill Mantine and Gastrodon that would otherwise wall it. However they usually do not have a great coverage and does not help Gardevoir become a better revenge killer in most cases.
* Wish + Protect can be an alternative option for Gardevoir to stall out opponents as an utility set, however it is not recommended due to its poor physical bulk and low hp hindering the ability to survive or heal a teammate.

Doublade can take almost any attack from Gardevoir bar Shadow Ball and set up Sword Dance too.

**Paralysis**: Paralysis halfs the speed of Gardevoir, severly hurts it ability to revenge kill. - No need for a book definition of para just say para cripples Gard as it's main role is now ruined and its getting outsped by strong attackers that can now just KO it.

**Poison Types**: A lot of Poison type Pokemon, such as Toxapex and Mega Venusaur, resist Gardevoir's Fairy STAB and are able to either set up entry hazards or KO back with their super effective STAB moves. Other Poison type, specifically Alolan Muk, can switch into its Psychic STAB and trap it with Pursuit. However, none of the Poison type Pokemon can resist both STABs.

**Choice Scarf / Faster Attackers**: Choice Scarf Poison / Steel type Sweepers such as Excadrill, Nihilego, Gengar and Speed Boost users, specifically Scolipede, can comfortably switch into a move they resist, outspeed Gardevoir and OHKO'ing with their super effective STAB while they do not have to be worried about being revenged killed by it. **Bulky Special Walls**: Special walls such as Chansey, Jirachi and Mew can wall Gardevoir's attacks fairly easily and hit back in return or throw status at it. However, all of them apart from Jirachi the have to be aware of Trick which gives them Choice Scarf.

ty for the suggestions! ive implemented most of them apart from the ones that contradicts with the precious two QC's. Vid also told me to be really specific so I put the stats and stuff in just in case. the one i'd argue about is the first bullet point of usage tips, because i personally believe that its hard for Gardevoir to KO threats that hadnt been weakened (cant OHKO alola-raichu, psychic type STAB can't OHKO bunch of poison types etc.) so yeah by "threats are weakened" i kinda meant that its best for Gardevoir to wait till mid-game as it may not be able to "revenge kill" healthy threats

No dude, like you CAN'T put stats, you can go look at any other analyses its just a rule for them. For first bullet point, Gardevoir is normally used as a cleaner late game when all threats are weakened. It's also a revenge killer but specifically late game is usually when it's cleaning. Mid/Late game is usually when it's revenging

e: sorry ive always been told u cant have stats by qc people mb

You may use stats in analyses and the Overview. I think it's subjective when or when not to, but my personal rule of thumb is that the numeric value needs to have an impact. For example, I would be happy to see:

"Mega Charizard Y's base 100 Speed is great for a wallbreaker, outspeeding every relevant wall in Monotype, but also leaves it in a crowded Speed tier."
"Pheromosa's base 151 Speed allows it to outpace even some of the fastest threats such as Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Alakazam that can be difficult to stop for Fighting teams."

But something like this isn't as useful:

"Mega Charizard Y's great base 115 Special Defense lets it easily switch into even some Water-type attacks with Drought support."
"Pheromosa's 71 / 37 / 37 bulk is poor and leaves it OHKOed by almost any unresisted attack."

In this case, Gardevoir's base 80 Speed isn't actually contributing to the Overview because Choice Scarf lets Gardevoir outspeed Nidoqueen and Heatran anyway, so I would remove it.

I hope this clears up the confusion.

QC:

Overview:
- Rewrite the first line. It's not very useful right now. Three main ideas that need to be expressed: checks Poison-types, is a good revenge killer, and can use Healing Wish
- Rework the line about using Psychic-type attacks. This should more specifically target Mega Venusaur, which walls a lot of Fairy-types.
- Simplify Trace. It's just the Overview, all we need to know here is that Trace allows Gardevoir to check weather sweepers and Alolan Raichu.
- Remove the Healing Wish and Memento line. Healing Wish is mentioned in the first line and Memento is bad.
- Remove the last line about Focus Blast and Shadow Ball
- Add near the end that Gardevoir is rather weak, making it difficult to find room on most Fairy teams.

Set:
- Psychic is superior to Psyshock because it takes on Mega Venusaur and Toxapex. Psyshock would be nice in theory, but Nihilego often uses Choice Scarf, outspeeding Gardevoir anyway, and Chansey cannot be taken out with Psyshock even with Eviolite removed and a layer of Spikes support (even with 2 it's 3.9%). However, hitting +1 Volcarona for serious damage is still useful, which is why it stays on the set.

[SET]
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Moonblast
move 2: Psychic / Psyshock
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Healing Wish / Trick / Shadow Ball
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Trace
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Moves:
- Gave the reason why Psychic is used above. Separate Psychic and Psyshock into two bullets. Hitting Mega Venusaur and Toxapex is way more valuable than hitting Nihilego on the switch, which is almost impossible, and Chansey for minimal damage.
- For Psyshock, highlight hitting Zapdos and Volcarona after Stealth Rock damage.
- Why Trick a Toxapex you can 2HKO? Definitely change this. Mew might be a better example.
- Remove Metagross as a target, it's not relevant. Honestly, Jirachi really takes almost nothing, so I would make it clear that's why Shadow Ball isn't that good. It's pretty much just for Doublade.

Set Details:
- The line about Speed is way too long. All you need is literally just two examples: Greninja and Tapu Koko is fine.
- This Trace line is even longer. Cut this down significantly. We don't need a full explanation, so keep it short and simple. All it really needs to say is something like this: "Trace allows Gardevoir to check weather sweepers and Alolan Raichu by copying their abilities while also being able to copy and take advantage of Landorus's Sheer Force and defensive abilities such as Landorus-T's Intimidate, Toxapex's Regenerator, and Heatran's Flash Fire." This is still quite long but it's much more concise while still providing a lot of detail.

Usage Tips:
- This line doesn't make a lot of sense. Separate it into when you're using Gardevoir for revenge killing and when it's being used for cleaning.
* Being one of the only revenge killer for fairy type, it is best to save Gardevoir to mid-late game where threats are weakened.
- The Psyshock line is just too long and sort of combines two ideas: make sure you KO and be careful of immunities. We don't need the first half, and since you discuss using Psychic / Psyshock and Focus Blast when there are Dark-types and Ghost-types respectively later on, let's just cut this one out completely.
- This isn't a Gardevoir Usage Tip, remove it.
* Other bulky Pokemon the team has such as Magearna and Tapu Fini that threaten the opposing team can be brought in the battle more frequently if needed, and do not need to be kept healthy as Healing Wish can restore them back to full hp.
- Instead, try to make a line more about Gardevoir itself using Healing Wish, not how its teammates should be used as a result of Healing Wish.
- Again, change Toxapex to something else like Lanturn.
- Talk about using Trace to get Gardevoir in, such as by copying Volt Switch on Lanturn or Flash Fire on Heatran.
- Make it clear that Gardevoir can't really switch into attacks otherwise because its bulk is quite poor.

Team Options:
- Generally say that all Pokemon appreciate being healed to full as a leading line. What Pokemon wouldn't?
- Whimsicott and Diancie should be removed. Whimsicott is useless this generation and Diancie is only really good for HO TR, which Gardevoir wouldn't find room in.
- Remove passive healing from Tapu Bulu, it's not important.
- Don't mention Choice Band sets for Azumarill.
- Also add to Tapu Bulu that it takes out the bulky Ground-types that Gardevoir is often walled by.

Other Options:
- Memento is acceptable, but you have to make it very very very clear that it's worse than Healing Wish because right now it doesn't sound like it.
- Modest cannot be used. It leaves Gardevoir outsped by Modest Mega Alakazam, Adamant Mega Aerodactyl, and Tapu Koko.
- I'd remove Trick Room, you just don't have room for it and there are three other very good TR setters.
- Put Wish + Protect in with Will-O-Wisp. I mean honestly it's a stretch and I'd consider just dropping it altogether.

Checks and Counters:
- Move Paralysis to the bottom.
- How do almost any of those Poison-types check Gardevoir? Remove this section, they're the ones getting checked by Psychic. Also, Trick cripples the walls like Alolan Muk anyway.
- This line about Choice Scarf and Faster Pokemon needs to be compressed a lot. Just call it Revenge Killers. Something as simple as: listing two examples of Choice Scarf users alongside Mega Aerodactyl would work.

This is mainly just cutting out unnecessary information so I'll just stamp it now. Detail is good, but like all other things, everything in moderation. QC 2/3

[OVERVIEW]

* One of the only Fairy type Pokemon with decent SpA and Spe that allows it to use Choice Scarf, which makes it a great revenge killer and can also fill the roll of a late game cleaner. It can also check Poison types due to its great typing and can use Healing Wish to heal a teammate.
- not really true when you have stuff like tapu koko and togekiss, id reword the first part. you also need to use 'Special Attack' and 'Speed' not SpA and Spe.
* Good coverage such as Focus Blast and Shadow Ball along with its expansive movepool including Trick and Healing Wish that can both hit more foes & support the team.
- you need to use full sentences for bullets

[SET]

I honestly really don't agree with shadow ball gardevoir. like Eien said the only relevant thing it hits is doublade and i don't think its nearly viable and common enough to justify shadow ball. put it in oo.

name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Moonblast
move 2: Psychic / Psyshock
move 3: Focus Blast
move 4: Healing Wish / Trick
item: Choice Scarf
ability: Trace
nature: Timid
evs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves

- remove shadow ball

Set Details

- again, its 'Special Attack' and 'Speed' not SpA and Spe
* Full SpA EV maximizes its damage output as well as granting it ability to OHKO Excadrill with Focus Blast as well as 2hkoing Ferrothorn, Heatran and physically defensive Skarmory.
- i find it weird how you mention what KOs focus blast grabs w/ max special attack but don't mention its stabs.

Usage Tips

* When using Psyshock, it must be made that it's a 2HKO against bulky threats such as Mega Venusaur. Gardevoir also have to be aware of Dark type's presence which are immune to its Psychic STAB.
- expand. gardevoir has to watch out for pursuit and alolan muk is an excellent switchin for it. never bring it in to beat threats like mega venu when alolan muk is alive bc you definitely dont want your only venu check to get worn down by pursuit.
* Gardevoir should use Healing Wish to save an important teammate so that it can do its job well.
- when is a good time to healing wish? again, you need to expand.
* Gardevoir is weak against physical moves even if it is neutral, and is not so good against physical priorities bar Mach Punch. Try to bring it into the game after a teammate has fainted or through a slow pivoting move.
- on the other hand, its spdef is amazing for an offensive pokemon. mention you can use that to bring it in.
* Trick must be used only on walls the team cannot break and only when the wall is for sure going to receive the Choice Scarf in order to prevent turning an foe's Pokemon, such as Bisharp, into a threatening sweeper. Further more, it should target walls that lacks offense presence such as Chansey or Lanturn that would not be a threat even with a Choice Scarf. Gardevoir itself also dislike losing its Choice Scarf as it hinders its ability to be a revenge killer.
- really like this bullet but you need to expand a bit on the last sentence. if it hates losing choice scarf, why is trick such a good option on it?
- you also need to mention how risky it can be to get locked in focus blast because of its unreliable accuracy. maybe just add it in on the last bullet?

Team Options

- great job on this but you keep mentioning the utility gradevoir provides in the form of healing wish and trick when the fact that it can deal with poison-type pokemon is huge for fairy teams.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options

- uhh im not really sure about memento considering healing wish is so much better lol
- remove the will-o-wisp bullet. even the wishtect set seems really bad but its better than the other first two
- put shadow ball here if you choose to get rid of it in the set

Checks and Counters

'Some Steel type Pokemon such as Scizor and Metagross can use Bullet Punch and ko Gardevoir while being able to take any attack Gardevoir can launch at it'
- mega metagross is banned and regular metagross is garbage, just go with scizor.
**Revenge Killers**: Choice Scarf users such as Excadrill, Victini, Nihilego and faster attackers such as Mega Aerodactyl can force Gardevoir out due to its underwhelming defenses.
- just a nitpick but 'underwhelming defenses' makes it seem like its spdef is bad too which is incorrect. 115 spdef is amazing for a fast revenge killer.
**Psychic Types**: Most Psychic types, like Celebi and Slowbro, can resist Gardevoir's Psychic STAB while also being able to take its Fairy STAB due to their great bulk.
- jirachi is a better example than celebi
