Checks and Counters
===================
**Steel-types**: Steel-types suck in general
- Fairy-type STAB is swag
- Also has the decent Psychic-type STAB
- Good coverage
- Good Special Attack
- Good Special Defense
- Passable Speed
- Crappy Defense
- Hard walled by Steel-types
- Defensive sets are outclassed by Florges and Whimsicott

Moves
========
- Moonblast is a great STAB move with pretty boppin' coverage
- Psyshock is a good secondary STAB move that also hits Pokemon with high Special Defense
- Shadow Ball hits stuff like Bronzong, Metagross, and Doublade on the switch
- Focus Blast nails Cobalion, Empoleon, and Aggron
- Calm Mind can be used if running Life Orb to break down stall
- Trick can be used with Choice Specs to cripple a wall
Set Details
========
- Choice Specs hits like a fucking trick and nothing wants to switch into it
- Life Orb is a bit weaker and costs HP but is nice in that it allows Gardevoir to switch moves
- If Timid beats/ties stuff like Mamoswine, Chandelure, and other base 80s
- If Choice Specs, Modest guarantees 2HKO on Florges, Bronzong, and Blissey without SR and has a chance to OHKO Empoleon with Focus Blast after SR.
- Trace is useful to copy the foe's ability and is awesome against stuff like choice-locked Chandelure and is absolute ca$h against Rain Dance Mega Swampert
Usage Tips
========
- Bring it in on a resisted move, Choice-locked Pokemon, or something like Flash Fire Chandelure if its locked into Fire Blast
- Click Moonblast or Psyshock (or appropriate coverage move)
Team Options
========
- Volt Switch and U-turn is helpful for bringing it in safely. Magneton also traps Steel-types
- Fast cleaners to finish the game when Gardevoir breaks down walls
- Fire- and Ground-types to nail Steel-types

Set Details
========
- Timid ties a bunch of stuff but Modest is good for dealing more damage
- EVs maximize Special Attack and Speed
- Leftovers are recommended for the passive recovery, especially if running Substitute
- Life Orb is an option to deal quite a bit more damage
