Why oh why do pepole hate Gen 5? Is it because competitive in Gen 5 wasn't like Gen 4? Is it because of the story? Someone pls tell me why!

The original Black and White had a controversial story (some think it’s great, others think it’s dumb), only new Pokémon being available annoyed some players that didn’t enjoy some of the designs, and possibly the lack of endgame content. Idk why anyone would hate BW2 tho, those games were a masterpiece and the best games in the series imo
