Pet Mod [Gen 8] Perfect Galar

ChrystalFalchion's Corviknight-GMax (sad that nobody did Duraludon's G-Max form)
Yung Dramp's Garbodor-GMax and Charizard-GMax
Tmi489's Pikachu-GMax and Flapple-GMax

No worries, I'll calm you down with this.

:machamp-gmax:
Pokemon Name: Machamp-GMax
Role: Strong, Bulky Physical attacker, yet isn’t too fast.
Stat Changes (If Any):
Ability Changes (If Any):
Movepool Changes (If Any):
G-Max Move Effects:
Raises Speed by 1
G-Max Move Drawbacks: Reduces Pokemon’s HP by 1/10th (Life Orb Effect)
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?: Machamp is different, with higher base attack and access to the coveted Guts ability. Fun fact: Machamp G-Max, with Guts activated, has a higher Attack than Double Band Darmanitan-Galar! However, a low Speed makes Machamp outsped easily, something that Darmanitan-Galar does not have an issue with. The speed increasing of G-Max Chi Strike partially solves this issue, however this comes at the price of decreasing your health. Overall, Machamp-GMax is outclassed by Darmanitan-Galar in OU (although Machamp’s higher Attack could potentially make it a niche wallbreaker!), but it could serve a purpose in Ubers where it’s Attack stat is nearly on par with Zacian-Crowned, it could function as a second Physical Sweeper.
What are its stats? I wanna know :3

Stats are the same as in the spreadsheet. Should I paste those stats here?
Yea, I don't even know what spreadsheet you are talking about...

Edit: Okay I looked at it, it's in the OP. So we have a mon that wasn't subbed in the spreadsheet? Or did somebody sub this

Just curious, I just wasn't aware we were using that spreadsheet until now.

I'm allowing lots of winners this slate so we can have lots of GMax buffs right off the bat.

First Place Winners
:Flapple: :Flapple-Gmax:
Pokemon Name: Flapple
Role: DDancer that's strong, but limited coverage and slow
Normal Stat Changes: 80 / 110 / 85 / 95 / 65 / 70 (505 BST, +10 HP, +5 Def, +5 SpD, )
G-Max Stat Changes: 100 / 115 / 85 / 95 / 65 / 75 (550 BST, +20 HP, +5 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpD, +5 Spe)
Movepool Changes (If Any): Crunch, Refresh
G-Max Move Effects: Lowers opponents Defense by 1, increases your accuracy by 1.
G Max move drawbacks: BP = Max Knuckle BP + 10
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?:
Unlike Klinklang, Flapple can threaten its resists with Grav Apple and G-Max Tartness, threatening cores that rely on resisting STABs. Flapple can't boost its speed by +2, however. Flapple seperates itself from other DDancers with its absurd Hustle Outrages, relying on Grav Apple to break through steels. Flapple also can't threaten too much without dancing first and can be revenged easily.
Dynamax Flapple can set up Grassy Terrain for itself, providing immediately stronger Grass moves out of the bat - and buffing Flapple outside of Dynamax. However Max-Wyrmwind is strong neough especially after Tart Apple.

Charizard Sprite

Pokemon Name: Charizard
Role: Fire Type Mixed Attacker
Gigantamax Stat Changes: 78 / 114 (+30) / 78 / 119 (+10) / 85 / 110 (+10) (584 BST)
G-Max Move Changes (If Any): Destroys foe's consumable items
G-Max Move Drawback: 33% recoil
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Close Combat, Fly
Fly: Charge turn nullified when used by a Flying type Pokemon
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?: Offensive Fire types exist, but none that can hit on both sides of the offensive spectrum quite like Gigantamax Charizard. The closest thing to one is Arcanine, who doesn't have the useful Flying dual STAB, nor as much Speed and power overall. However, Charizard also doesn't have the defensive utility of Arcanine with lesser bulk and no Intimidate, as well as no priority and slightly worse coverage overall. Still a threat though, so watch out

Garbodor Sprite

Pokemon Name: Garbodor
Role: Wearing down the foe via hazards and Poison spreading
Gigantamax Stat Changes: 80 / 105 (+10) / 107 (+25) / 60 / 107 (+25) / 65 (-10) (524 BST)
G-Max Move Changes (If Any): Sets Toxic Spikes on the foe's side of the field. Toxic Spikes set this way cannot be nullified by Poison types.
G-Max Move Drawback: Lowers Speed by 1
Movepool Changes (If Any): +Earthquake, Iron Tail, Knock Off, Stealth Rock
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?: Garbodor is the only available Pokemon aside from Mew with access to both Spikes variants and Stealth Rock. In comparison to other suicide leads, Garbodor specializes in getting off as much passive damage as possible via hazards, G-Max Malodor setting Toxic Spikes and techniques like Aftermath and Explosion. That said, it can't do much against common Defoggers like Corviknight, and its ever-decreasing speed can cause issues.
Second Place
:kingler-gmax:
Pokemon Name: Kingler-GMax
Role: Strong Physical Attacker that can outspeed opponents.
Stat Changes (If Any): 55 / 150 (+20) / 115 / 50 / 50 / 105 (+30)
Ability Changes (If Any):
Movepool Changes (If Any):
+ Close Combat, Earthquake, Stone Edge
G-Max Move Effects: Lowers opponent’s Speed by 2
G-Max Move Drawbacks: Removes All entry Hazards from opponents side of the field (Rapid Spin against you.)
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?: With higher base attack and Speed makes Kingler-GMax far stronger than it ever was. However, it’s Speed is still an issue, leaving outsped by multiple foes. It’s type also makes it weak to Thunderbolts from common Dragapult. The speed decreasing of G-Max Foam Burst partially solves this issue, however this comes at the price of removing entry hazards from the opponent’s side of the field, something that is not helpful to Kingler. Despite this, Kingler serves a brilliant role as a strong Physical sweeper that is still fast and is hard to deal with.

Choice Band
Kingler-Gmax @ Choice Band
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Crabhammer
- Close Combat

Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Crabhammer
- Close Combat
- Earthquake / Stone Edge

Double Dance
Kingler-Gmax @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Agility
- Swords Dance
- Crabhammer
- Close Combat / Earthquake / Stone Edge
Pokemon Name: Corviknight-GMax
Role: Bulky physical sweeper
Stat Changes (if any): 98, 97 (+10), 115 (+10), 53, 115 (+30), 67
Ability Changes (if any): None
Movepool changes (if any): None
G-Max Move Effects: Summons strong winds that protect Flying type Pokemon (Delta Stream). Lasts for 5 turns
G Max move drawbacks: Deals 50% recoil damage (and of course you can't use Roost while Gigantamaxed)
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles: Once it's grabbed a Bulk Up or 2, Corviknight can then set up G Max Windrage to remove its Electric weakness, and give it Rock and Ice resistances, making it extremely difficult to take down in conjunction with its natural Poison immunity.

Pokemon Name: Appletun-GMax
Role: Leech Seed staller and Special tank
Stat changes (if any): 110, 85, 110 (+30), 120 (+20), 80, 30
Ability changes (if any): None
Movepool changes (if any): Gains Calm Mind
G-Max Move Effects: After dealing damage, hits the foe with Leech Seed. The Leech seed effect doesn't work on Grass types
G-Max move drawbacks: -1 Special Defence.
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles: Most users of Leech Seed tend to be weak offensively, while Appletun has a respectable Special Attack and Calm Mind, and it can also set the Leech Seed through Taunt. With Ripen it can be very difficult to take down after a Calm Mind or 2.
:pikachu: :pikachu-gmax:
Pokemon Name: Pikachu
Role: Offensive Pivot
Stat Changes (If Any): 25 / 65 / 40 / 45 / 50 / 135 (360 BST, -10 HP, +10 Atk, -5 SpA, +45 Spe)
G-Max Stat Changes: 55 / 75 / 50 / 65 / 60 / 105 (410 BST, +30 HP, +10 Atk, +10 Def, +20 SpA, +10 SpD, -30 Spe)
Movepool Changes (If Any): No incompatabilities, -Extreme Speed, -Nasty Plot
G-Max Move Effects: Ignores all abilities. Pokemon immune to Electric due to type are now 1* effective.
G Max move drawbacks: 33% Recoil
What sets this Pokemon apart from ones with similar roles?: Normal Pikachu is now usable as a frail, powerful Volt Switcher. Jolteon is stronger, able to use (Choice) Items, and is bulkier. Pikachu also likes being able to use physical attacks, but Volt Switch is special. Pikachu's coverage options are also mostly special - while it has coverage (over Jolteon), it doesn't like the limited power. Volt Tackle and G-Max Volt Crash cause recoil, limiting Pikachu's longetivity.
G-Max Pikachu is bulky enough not to get picked on by Priority and can smash through a Pikachu check. But even with the buffs, Pikachu is prone to being revenged by faster threats (especially after Recoil). Its still fast enough that it can clean bulkier teams, after revengers are removed.
Dynamax PIkachu is much faster than G-Max, allowing Pikachu to (potentially) survive a stray priority hit. Setting up E-Terrain is also stronger than G-Max's attack buffs.

Slate #3: One Last Push!

Going back to the FFA format for this one, but with a twist. You may only do one of the following:
-Buff one stat.

-Add one move.
-Change one ability.

Use this opportunity to take care of Pokemon which are close to having really solid niches, but just need that small but important boost to truly excel! Due to the simpler nature of this slate, you may also make up to 4 submissions rather than 3.

To buff one stat I choose Frosmoth, and I choose to have its Spped be boosted by 20 points, taking it up to base 85. This means that after 1 Quiver Dance it can now outrun Dragapult, as well as slower Scarf users like Dracovish.

For one move, I would like to give Mudsdale Slack Off. It needs reliable recovery.

To change one ability, I’d like to change Emergency Exit. As it stands now, it sucks. But what if, it only triggered when you fell below 25% HP, and when you were switched out you also passed whatever stat boosts you had to whatever came in next? Only stat boosts/drops, so no Subs or trapping moves or anything like that.

Cursola: +20 Def
cursola has such nice stats and ability, but faces competition from chandelure, gengar, and its own pre-evo. With the extra defense boost, it isn't smashed by other foes, able to use an immediately threatening 145 SpA to good use

Falinks: Simple (2nd normal ability)
may be going overboard but it makes No Retreat a worthwhile option to use when considering Falink's horrible bst and hard time setting up

Gosliopod: Tough Claws (HA)
like above post, remove emergency exit for a solid mon

+Ice Fang

Boltund is already surprisingly powerful, but now it finally has its Strong Jaw-boosted elemental fang selection rounded out by Ice Fang to smack Ground types.

+Recover

It already has a dramatically boosted Multi-Attack and a decreased Pokemon count to work with, and now with reliable recovery it can finally be an even better pivot and attacker with sustain.

Shadow Punch: 90 BP, 30% chance to lower foe's Attack by 1 stage

This Pokemon finally gets a strong, reliable STAB boosted by Iron Fist. Also serves as an indirect Dusknoir buff, although I got something cooked up for him at a later date.

Ema Skye

Work!
Weezing-Galar: +Recover
Fantastic typing and ability means it's only lacking as a tank due to poor Recovery. This would be a big boon.

Obstagoon: +Sucker Punch
Can now be a faster Bisharp with Defiant and priority. Or Guts with Flame Orb to go ham.

Appletun: +Ripen gives double Leftovers
Pretty sure this is intended in the game but there's a bug. 1/8 HP recovery would really help with its sustain since it's already pretty bulky.

Gardevoir: +20 spe
Outspeeding Hydreigon and Darmanitan would be huge, and it's coverage is actually awesome now due to Mystical Fire. A solid speed tier would differentiate from Hatterne, who has the same typing with similar non-speed stats.

Gardevoir's Speed can't go that high since that's put it at 538 BST, with the limit being 535

Arctovish - Adaptability.
While it’s no Strong Jaw, Arctovish gains massive power on its Fishous Rend and while weaker than Draco, it does help boost another important coverage: Freeze Dry. Even without investment I can smack around Seismitoad and Gastrodon and might even score a kill. Between these 2 moves are perfect coverage and it makes a great partner for its fellow freak fish to get around those pesky water absorbers.

Aromatisse - Misty Surge
Again it’s might not be better than Chimney Weezing but that guy would rather float and use his poison and burn spreading potential. This thing doesn’t care nearly as much. Although I wish it’s little cup version were a bit weaker since it’s been banned before.

Steelix - Coil
Besides making sense it aids both it’s defense based fighting coverage and majors it’s Sheer Force Iron Tail, Rock Slide and Elemental Fangs stronger and more accurate. I fee it does more than Dragon Dance because Steelix even after a dance is never going first.

Galvantula - Quiver Dance
Seemingly too strong, Galvantula's coverage is limited to bug/electric/grass and it might want to role compress with Webs. Unlike Ribombee, its not super fast out the gate and Rib has almost as much SpAtk. This means the two don't overlap that much and coverage beyond Bug Stab is very important.

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
Perrserker: +50 Base Speed (50 + 50 = 100) (Will be lowered to +40 if it would be too much)
Perrserker, on its own, at least specializes better than its Kanto and Alolan cousins, but for OU competitive value, a combination of poor Speed and Special Defense held it back. With a base speed of 100, only its poor Special Defense became its problem, but a much higher Speed now allows it to set up Sword Dance to properly and still maintain a reasonable physical bulk of 70 / 100, which means priority attacks will not be a major problem (and can survive a Mach Punch unless it overdid with Close Combat).

It still competes with Excadrill who can go even faster on a Sand team, have better initial base Attack and have dual STAB. Perrserker remains bulkier on the physical side, have better initial Speed (thus can utilize Choice Scarf and outspeed a Choice Scarfed CBDarm), fight back Fighting-types with Play Rough, use Taunt to cripple some walls and have access to Tough Claws for any of its contact moves, or Steely Spirit for insanely strong Iron Heads. And it helps that, despite being based of a cat, Perrserker isn't weak to Water, while Excadrill can get revenge killed by Aqua Jet.

Goodra: +Recover
Goodra is easily the most overshadowed Pseudo-Legendary of them all. Kommo-o was that until it got Clangerous Soulblaze (and Clangerous Soul after Z-Moves are removed for SwSh), while Goodra still doesn't have anything to compensate its mono Dragon-typing. I discovered that Goodra is unable to subtain itself despite a massive Special Bulk was because of a lack of reliable recovery. Recover is going to solve that, allowing Goodra to live longer and can play as a Special Wall if it wanted, or as a tank with a recovery available for it to use. This can become especially obnoxious on a Rain team, since the rain with Hydration allows it to cleanse off Toxic, Paralysis or Sleep.

Drapion: Battle Armor replaced by Tough Claws
Drapion's problem is a combination is a below average Attack and none of its moves being especially powerful. Tough Claws will not only boost Knock Off, Fell Stinger, Ice/Fire/Thunder Fang, Cross Poison/Poison Jab, Brick Break, Stomping Tantrum (preferably in Doubles), and especially Leech Life. This allows Drapion to hit harder and make Fell Stinger more useful and rewarding if you intend to use it on a weakened target not resisting to Bug (which Drapion can do so to revenge kill thanks to its naturally high Speed).

Recover for Silvally (SV)
Ice Fang for Boltund (SV)
+50 Speed for Perrserker (Samtendo09)
Adaptability for Arctovish (Dilasc)
Volt Switch for Pincurchin (Gojiratar)

Silvally - Recover
Pinchurian - Volt Switch
Appletun - Ripen Bug
Falinks - Simple
Drapion - Tough Claws

adaptability for arctovish may be suspect if dracovish and co are too good for ou
