Congratulations to anaconja (x2) and APaidActor for winning with Balogar, King K. Rool and Clownpiece. Anaconja has earned the title, Mesal Gear Solid.

To go along with Slate 2's Past Paradox theme, this slate will be based on Scarlet and Violet's Future Paradox Pokemon. Any character that made their first-ever appearance in the 2020s will be eligible for this slate's bonus vote.

Have fun!

Competitive Reasoning: Caren is a physically defensive wall with a good typing.
any-beginner-tips-for-lych-v0-ediyd43bjci91.jpg

Pokémon: Gravelord Lych
Franchise/Origin: Bloons Tower Defense 6
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Ghost/Flying
Ability: Spectral Leech | This Pokemon heals 1/4 of its max HP when hit by a foe with stat boosts. Eliminates the target's boosts after receiving damage. [Haze + Water Absorb clone] (This ability doesn't give immunity to moves from foes with stat boosts).
Notable moves: Attack Order, Defend Order, Leech Life, Horn Leech, Absorb, Mega Drain, Giga Drain, Ominous Wind, Shadow Ball, Oblivion Wing, Strength Sap, Spirit Shackle, Poltergeist, Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, Destiny Bond, Spite, Grudge
Stats: 180/60/50/110/60/80 (540)
Reasoning: With 3 immunities and a quad resistance, but 5 weaknesses, Lych is meant to be a mixed wall that you build a defensive core with.
In his game of origin, Lych drains buffs, true to its name.

Pokémon: Apex Plasma Master
Franchise/Origin: Bloons Tower Defense 6
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Normal/Electric
Ability: Skill Link / Super Luck / Long Reach
Moves: Aura Sphere, Barrage, Beat Up, Bullet Punch, Bullet Seed, Charge Beam, Electro Ball, Energy Ball, Flash Cannon, Fury Attack, Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam, Ice Ball, Ice Beam, Icicle Spear, Iron Head, Laser Focus, Lock-On, Magnet Bomb, Natural Gift, Pin Missile, Population Bomb, Quick Attack, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Spike Cannon, Spikes, Spiky Shield, Smart Strike, Stone Edge, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Tri Attack, Triple Arrows, Volt Switch, Work Up, Zap Cannon, Zing Zap
(Bolded = notable)
Stats: 80/100/80/130/80/115 (570)
Reasoning: Apex Plasma Master is a mixed offensive pivot. On the physical side, you have the powerful Population Bomb, while on the special side, you have Volt Switch.
Character_Eula_Full_Wish.png

Pokémon: Eula
Franchise/Origin: Genshin Impact
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Ice/Fighting
Ability: Sharpness / Dancer
Moves: Icetide Vortex, Assurance, Aurora Veil, Avalanche, Blizzard, Bide, Close Combat, Counter, Detect, Fake Out, Feather Dance, Focus Energy, Frost Breath, Frustration, Fury Cutter, Hail, Ice Beam, Ice Spinner, Icicle Crash, Icy Wind, Leer, Low Kick, Knock Off, Night Slash, Noble Roar, Payback, Punishment, Pursuit, Quick Guard, Rapid Spin, Revenge, Reversal, Retaliate, Sacred Sword, Slash, Smart Strike, Stomping Tantrum, Submission, Swords Dance, Swagger, Taunt, Triple Axel, U-turn, Wide Guard, Whirlwind
(Bolded = notable)
Stats: 90/125/85/60/65/90 (515)
Signature move: Icetide Vortex - Ice-type, slicing move, Psyshield Bash clone (70 BP, increases Defense by 1)
Reasoning: Eula is a physical wallbreaker, similar to Gallade.
S376_Sprite_Stage1.png

Pokémon: Tiamat-Larva
Franchise/Origin: Fate/Grand Order Arcade
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Water/Dragon
Ability: Swift Swim / Sturdy / Infantile Regression
Signature Ability: Infantile Regression - If holder equips Eviolite, its Defense and Sp. Def are 1.5x.
Notable moves: Sea of Life, Aqua Ring, Aqua Tail, Baby-Doll Eyes, Body Slam, Bite, Breaking Swipe, Brine, Brutal Swing, Bulk Up, Burning Jealousy, Calm Mind, Charge Beam, Charm, Chilling Water, Confide, Crunch, Cut, Dark Pulse, Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Dive, Draco Meteor, Dragon Breath, Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rage, Dragon Rush, Dragon Tail, Dream Eater, Dual Chop, Endure, Eruption, Fire Blast, Fling, Flip Turn, Fly, Frustration, Giga Impact, Glare, Heal Block, Hone Claws, Hyper Beam, Hyper Fang, Hyper Voice, Hydro Pump, Hurricane, Ice Beam, Incinerate, Iron Tail, Lava Plume, Life Dew, Liquidation, Mean Look, Megahorn, Miracle Eye, Muddy Water, Mystical Fire, Natural Gift, Night Slash, Noble Roar, Ominous Wind, Origin Pulse, Outrage, Payback, Perish Song, Power Gem, Psycho Cut, Rain Dance, Round, Safeguard, Scale Shot, Scary Face, Secret Power, Shadow Ball, Shock Wave, Sing, Skull Bash, Slam, Sleep Talk, Snore, Soak, Spacial Rend, Strength, Super Fang, Superpower, Surf, Swift, Tackle, Tearful Look, Teleport, Thunderbolt, Tri-Attack, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Waterfall, Wave Crash, Whirlpool
Signature move: Sea of Life: Water-type Jungle Healing clone.
Stats: 70/80/70/130/90/80 (520)
Competitive Reasoning: Tiamat-Larva is a general-use offensive Water-type. Offensive pivot, Rain abuser, offensive Eviolite wallbreaker (see Bisharp/Primeape/Ursaring; her utility options boils down to Glare, doesn't even get Scald).
Flavor Reasoning: Tiamat-Larva is the child form of a sea dragon goddess. She's the origin of all life, so I gave her Origin Pulse; she also has an attack that’s “countless beams of light that glow a deep and brilliant blue”. She also can tear holes in reality to connect it to an Imaginary Number Space Sea, so I gave her Spacial Rend. Tiamat-Larva can use Eviolite because she basically evolves into regular Tiamat but that one doesn't exist here.

Been a while since I've participated in a Pet Mod, hope I'm not too rusty!

YareliFull.png

Pokémon: Yareli
Franchise/Origin: Warframe
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Water/Fairy
Ability: Swift Swim, Torrent, Super Luck
Notable moves:

Physical: Aqua Jet, Play Rough, Flip Turn, Water Shuriken (Aquablades), Fake Out, Heart Stamp, Waterfall, Quick Attack, Trailblaze

Special: Surf (Merulina), Scald, Chilling Water, Brine, Hydro Pump, Disarming Voice, Dazzling Gleam, Whirlpool (Sea Snares/Riptide), Air Cutter (Aquablades), Hyper Voice, Weather Ball

Status: Rain Dance, Agility, Charm, Soak, Mist, Calm Mind, Haze

Stats: 70/60/80/120/100/100 (BST 530)

Reasoning: For Rain Teams. The Water/Fairy typing is because she's based on water nymphs and such fantastical creatures. Her Hidden Ability Super Luck is because her passive grants a critical chance buff in certain situations. Many of the move choices are also based specifically on her abilities in the game

RhinoFull.png

Pokémon: Rhino
Franchise/Origin: Warframe
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Rock/Steel
Ability: Rock Head (Rhino Charge), Stamina (Iron Skin), Multiscale (Iron Skin)
Notable moves:

Physical: Stomp, Head Smash, Earthquake, Stomping Tantrum, Megahorn, Iron Head, High Horsepower, Horn Drill (yeah right), Lunge, Trailblaze, Headlong Rush

Special: Earth Power, Boomburst, Hyper Voice, Sonic Boom

Status: Noble Roar, Howl, Iron Defense, Harden, Bulk Up

Stats: 100/120/120/60/120/50 (BST 570)

Reasoning: Physical Attacker that sure can take a hit. A lot of sound moves (especially Howl, one of the only ones you'd actually use) allude to Roar, one of his abilities. Rock typing to match with his bulk and Steel because Iron Skin/he is a Warframe.

Duster.jpg

Pokémon: Duster
Franchise/Origin: Mother/Earthbound
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fighting
Ability: Iron Foot (Iron Fist but with Kicking Attacks), Frisk, Pickpocket
Notable moves:

Physical: Mega Kick, Low Kick, Triple Kick, High Jump Kick, Rolling Kick, Triple Axel, Blaze Kick, Gear Grind (Wall Staples), Magnet Bomb (Wall Staples), Thief, Covet, Knock Off, Low Sweep, Trailblaze

Special: Grass Knot (Rope Snake), Final Gambit, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Uproar (Siren Beetle)

Status: Smokescreen (Smoke Bomb), Tickle (Tickle Stick), Hypnosis (Hypno Pendulum), Bulk Up, Scary Face (Scary Mask), Agility

Stats: 100/120/70/80/70/110 (BST 550)

Reasoning: Fast Physical Attacker. Iron Foot and the kicking moves are there because...well, that's how he fights (and that's the reasoning for his typing too). A lot of other moves correspond to his Thief Tools, but most of them are just included for flavor purposes.

Pokémon: White Breath
Franchise: Grand Chase
Type:
1681516233810.png
1681516239528.png

Ability: Levitate | Tough Claws | [HA] Dragon Mode (Serene Grace for Ice-type moves. The user is immune to non-volatile status effects.)
Stats: 83 HP/75 Atk/67 Def/40 SpA/45 SpD/40 Spe (350 BST)

Moves: Frost Dive, Icicle Stamp, Dragon Claw, Outrage, Dragon Tail, Breaking Swipe, Ice Shard, Ice Hammer, Ice Punch, Icicle Spear, Icicle Crash, Ice Fang, Frost Breath, Icy Wind, Dual Wingbeat, Superpower, Mach Punch, Bullet Punch, X-Scissor, Shadow Claw, Smart Strike, Stone Edge, Dig, Aurora Veil, Snowscape, Dragon Dance, Haze, Mist, Roost, Hone Claws
Frost Dive |
1681516233810.png
|
Physical.png
| 80 BP | 16 PP | 100% | Works like Dive.
Icicle Stamp |
1681516233810.png
|
Physical.png
| 95 BP | 8 PP | 100% | Creates an Aurora Veil.
Reasoning: Tia is an Ice Dragon. While she doesn't appear as one normally, she turns into one with Dragon Mode. This grants her immunity to status effects, and adds additional effects to her skills, which are all ice-themed. Her weapon is the Dragon Claw, which is known for being tough (Tough Claws), and she floats around everywhere (Levitate). She can rapidly punch with the claw (Mach Punch, Bullet Punch).
Frost Dive lets Tia become cold air and move into the ground before coming back up and attacking. Icicle Stamp lets her stamp an enemy and create a shield to protect her team. She gets Stone Edge and Dig from one of her skins. Tia has higher health.

White Breath evolves into Heir of Ice Dragon King.

Reasoning: This is Tia after reaching six stars.

Reasoning: This is Tia after her Breakthrough.

Pokémon: Madeleine
Franchise: Food Fantasy

Ability: Levitate | Cute Charm | [HA] Shell Armor
Stats: 137 HP/48 Atk/106 Def/70 SpA/106 SpD/68 Spe (535 BST)

Moves: Witch's Kiss, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Power Gem, Psychic, Dark Pulse, Sweet Kiss, Aromatic Mist, Charm, Baby-Doll Eyes, Stealth Rock, Lovely Kiss, Nasty Plot, Telekinesis, Morning Sun, Shell Smash
Witch's Kiss |

|
1681523192648.png
| 100 BP | 16 PP | 90% | Hits all opponents and has a 50% chance to lower their Special Defense by 1 stage.
Reasoning: Madeleine is the personification of the French sweet of the same name, giving her Fairy-type along with taking advantage of her beauty (Cute Charm). She has jewels floating around her, and attacks with a case made of jewels, giving her Rock-type.
Madeleine is always floating (Levitate). The sweet she is based on is also called a shell cake due to its appearance (Shell Armor, Shell Smash). She was seen as a witch by those around her, so she decided to become one and cause disasters (Nasty Plot). Her basic skill is Star Light (Morning Sun), and her energy skill is Witch's Kiss, an attack with her jewel case that makes the opponents take more damage from basic attacks. Madeleine has very high HP, and a higher Defense.

Stats: 68 HP/55 Atk/48 Def/75 SpA/68 SpD/40 Spe (354 BST)

Moves: Chronic Shift, Psychic, Future Sight, Psybeam, Stored Power, Roar of Time, Signal Beam, Ancient Power, Meteor Beam, Energy Ball, Petal Dance, Magical Leaf, Draco Meteor, Cosmic Power, Trick Room, Heal Block, Perish Song, Recover, Wish, Encore
Chronic Shift |
1681526055353.png
|
Special.png
| 110 BP | 8 PP | 100% | Inflicts Heal Block.
Reasoning: Monica can control time (Roar of Time, Perish Song, Future Sight, Trick Room, Encore, Ancient Power). She observes the cosmos and draws power from it (Cosmic Power, Wish), giving her the Psychic-type. One of her passive skills, Time Affinity, heals her of 10% HP whenever she uses or is hit by a basic attack or active skill. Her active skill is Chronic Shift, a powerful attack that reduces the amount of healing the target receives. Her basic attack is a beam (Psybeam, Signal Beam), which becomes an energy ball with her Nutcracker Corp skin (Energy Ball). Her Time Magic skin allows her to call down an attack from space (Meteor Beam, Draco Meteor), and her Eternal Oath skin summons flowers (Petal Dance). One of her favorite items is the Mystic Rose (Magical Leaf).

Monica evolves into 6-Star Monica.

Reasoning: Dolores is a psychic medium who talks to earth spirits, which give her the ability to control Holy Soil. Holy Soil is mud that can be hardened into rock formations. Dolores uses it in combat, and can coat the opponent with it, even pulling them underground.

Reasoning: Otoma=Raga is the final boss of The King of Fighters XV. She is made of stone and crystals (Solid Rock), even having crystal claws (Hone Claws, Shadow Claw) and floats around everywhere (Levitate). She attacks by throwing out sharp crystals, and extending the crystal formations on her head to great lengths (Power Whip). Otoma=Raga can also teleport (Teleport), send her opponents through portals (Hyperspace Hole), and create crystal barriers (Reflect, Barrier, Wide Guard). When she is defeated, her crystals turn red and she regains 30% of her health, becoming faster and stronger.

Pokémon: Reindog
Franchise/Origin: MultiVersus (2022)
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Normal / Fairy
Ability: Magic Guard / Serene Grace / Unaware (HA)
Notable moves:
Physical moves: Body Slam, Crunch, Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Headbutt, Horn Leech, Last Resort, Play Rough, Quick Attack, Tackle, Take Down

Special moves: Charge Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Giga Drain, Hyper Beam, Hyper Voice, Love Leash, Power Gem, Round, Swift, Tera Blast, Thunderbolt

Status moves: Calm Mind, Confide, Encore, Heal Bell, Healing Wish, Heart Swap, Helping Hand, Howl, Misty Terrain, Protect, Sleep Talk, Rest, Roar, Substitute, Take Heart, Tail Whip, Wish, Work Up
Signature move: Love Leash, a Fairy-type Special clone of Spirit Shackle

Stats: 118 / 82 / 100 / 82 / 90 / 78 (550 BST)

Reasoning: Reindog is one of MultiVersus's dedicated support characters, an important role in a platform fighter centered on Doubles. He was an original character for the 2022 release, so he qualifies. He has a lot of utility options in his movepool, and three abilities that can be very useful (though I expect Unaware to see the majority bulk of the use considering the mostly offensive nature of the slates so far). Mixed offenses allow him to tailor his kit, though his Physical movepool is rather slim. Base 118 HP means he has some strong Wishes, which can help the rest of the team.

Reasoning:
  • asbestos is a fire salamander who is really toxic; coincidentally her name is also a fire insulator who is really toxic
  • thermal mode increases attack interval but raises attack and deals arts damage
  • moist skin increases arts resistance and charges sp when hit by an arts attack
Competitive Reasoning: fat wall or weird tank.

Stats: 101/111/40/111/40/125 (BST: 528)

Reasoning: Steel/Flying-type due to being a Bioroid, a type of android/robot; fitted with jet propulsions and having the Flying type within Last Origin itself, creating a redundant yet justified Flying typing under Pokémon mechanics. Unbroken Gallop as her primary Ability is sourced from one of her passives within her own source material, where she constantly removes any of her Speed debuffs whenever she attacks. This results in her being unable to have her Speed stat debuffed similarly by moves such as Scary Face and she would restore her Speed back to normal after the next move she'd pull off anyways. Unbroken Gallop might be a Hyper Cutter/Keen Eye clone, but it might be slightly powerful than the rest of its ilk due to how essential the Speed stat is in competitive battling. Speed Boost as her Hidden Ability also supports her Speed stat bias and also covers her other passives in Last Origin due to their effects. Her stats are calculated from Last Origin itself at level 100. This results in her very fragile Defense and Special Defense. Her stats are similar to Pheromosa and some of Deoxys' forms due to high mixed attacking stats and Speed but has a slight advantage over them with her 101 base HP stat, 30 higher than Pheromosa's. Her moveset consist of a lot of beam attacks due to her ability to wield a beam weapon herself, named a Prototype Beam Machine Gun in Last Origin itself, and Flamethrower as unique coverage due to her jet propulsion, something that Celesteela is also bestowed with. Due to the presence of alternate costumes for her, her idol costume grants her usage of various sound-based moves, most notably Hyper Voice, and Spotlight. Being able to have a swimsuit costume grants her a good amount of Water-type moves as coverage (with useful priority in Aqua Jet too), including Bubble Beam, which overlaps with her beam firing capabilities.

Stats: 134/143/112/86/50/69 (BST: 594)

Reasoning: Primary Ground-type due to being based on anacondas, non-venomous snakes. Sandaconda is another snake realmon that shares the Ground typing with her. The Ground type is also a type that Krookodile has, which is based on the same order of reptiles as Gavial, Eunectes’s rival. Secondary Steel due to her metal shield and her expertise in mechanics and robots. Her main ability, Peerless Bravery is based on her Talent within Arknights with similar in-game behaviour. Her hidden ability, Technician, is both for competitive and flavor reasons due to the etymology of the word “Technician” itself referring to engineering/laboratory/electronic technicians. Technician allows Eunectes to use her massive physical movepool with lacking BP which allows her a different edge in battle. Due to two of her skills within Arknights itself implying she uses an axe of some sort (Tomahawk, Menacing Slash), she gains various slicing moves. Being of the Pythia race grants her a great boosting move in Coil and a paralysis move in Glare, but due to being a robotic expert, has Thunder Wave as an option, which unfortunately is superseded by Glare. With Coil in her disposal she contributes to the niche of improving moves with imperfect accuracy to use at massive power (Stone Edge, Iron Tail). The perk of being a tower defence game character allows her moves like Safeguard and Wide Guard. Her base stats are based on her Elite 2 promotion stats within Arknights itself.

Abilities: Sand Guardian
Signature ability - Sand Guardian - At the end of each turn, the user's Defense and Sp. Def stats are raised by 1 stage until the user uses their first damaging move in which the user's Defense and Sp. Def stats are lowered by 1 stage at the end of each turn instead. The ability cannot lower the user's Defense and Sp. Def stats in any way if a sandstorm is currently active. Effects reset to raise user's Defense and Sp. Def at the end of every turn after user switches out.

Stats: 92/105/68/105/95/55 (BST: 520)

Reasoning: Primary Ground-type due to being born in the arid sands of Sargon and secondary Rock-type due to being named after a gemstone, used in Ancient Egypt to adorn scarabs which results in Megahorn and Fury Cutter as Bug moves that she can use. The former alludes to the threat of Carnelian using her horns to attack the player (Doctor) if tapped often in the main menu of her source material, which also has ties to Horn Attack. Her only and signature ability is Sand Guardian in respects to her behaving like Aegislash with Stance Change as in Arknights itself she will not attack unless she uses a skill to do so, which drops off her defensive bonuses, in similar respect to how if Aegislash attempts to use a damaging move, it must switch to Blade Forme if it is required to use a damaging move, which drops its defensive stats immensely. Carnelian wields a sword but does not use it in missions in Arknights itself, and the sword skills she has potentially can give her a respectable set of moves related to swords and slicing (Sacred Sword, Night Slash, Psycho Cut), and mostly use her Originium Arts skills instead to damage enemies with blasts of sand. She has an alternate costume, Hohenlohe Chillysand, set in a winter-like climate flanked by ungulate ice sculptures, thus an unusual repertoire of Ice-type coverage moves, synergising with the Ground-type as well as it does with Rock-type moves. The Elite 2 ram/goat/etc. in the background is assumed to be made of obsidian or another type of igneous rock and shows a sign of heat mapping with a red tinge where higher heat concentration could be, thus Fire-type coverage; the Elite 2 promotion attributes results in her base stats (minus Trust bonuses).

Stats: 77/62/51/103/125/58 (BST: 476)

Reasoning: Primary Psychic-type due to her kitsune heritage and usage of a staff like a high fantasy mage, cleric, or healer; owing to her desire to help and protect the operators of Rhodes Island, her secondary Fairy-type serves as a tie to the realmon kitsune Alolan Ninetales, which also has Fairy as its secondary type. Cloud Nine as her primary ability is mainly due to the etymology of the ability in both English and Japanese referring to someone of a carefree or naïve nature (the Psyduck line), which describes Suzuran's innocence quite nicely. Her hidden ability is Tinted Lens, which is more based on the part of Tinted Lens borrowing meaning from the idiom “to view the world through rose-coloured glasses", which ties into Suzuran's optimism and seeing her powers grow to form a figurative protective veil over those who treat a kit like her well as an operator full of innocence trying to find solace in a post-apocalyptic world such as Terra. Her signature move is partially based on her third skill of the same name in her source material, which serves as a Strength Sap clone. In Arknights proper, it slows enemies down near her and heals her and her allies (partially presented her with the ability to learn Heal Pulse), however she is unable to deal any damage while the skill is active, thus having the Status move category; Suzuran's movepool is mostly filled with support options (Status moves) because of her perceived passiveness. Her base stats are calculated from her Elite 2 promotion stats at max level, minus her Trust bonuses.

Franchise/Origin: Wildfrost
Intended Tier: UU
Type:
Grass.png
Normal.png

Stats: 140 / 130 / 75 / 40 / 60 / 50 [495 BST]
Abilities: Berry Boost
Custom Ability: Berry Boost - Upon knocking out another Pokémon, restores 25% HP to self and adjacent allies
Moves: Absorb, Attract, Avalanche, Body Slam, Branch Poke, Bulk Up, Bullet Seed, Captivate, Close Combat, Double-Edge, Endure, Energy Ball, Facade, Flash, Frustration, Giga Drain, Giga Impact, Grass Knot, Grassy Terrain, Growth, Helping Hand, Hidden Power, Ice Hammer, Ice Punch, Icy Wind, Knock Off, Last Resort, Mega Drain, Mimic, Natural Gift, Nature Power, Payback, Protect, Protect, Psych Up, Razor Leaf, Reflect, Rest, Retaliate, Return, Rock Smash, Safeguard, Secret Power, Seed Bomb, Sleep Talk, Snore, Snowscape, Strength, Substitute, Superpower, Sweet Scent, Tackle, Take Down, Toxic, Wood Hammer, Worry Seed
*B = Potentially Notable Moves
Justification: Big Berry is, well, a Berry Humanoid... thing? Grass is the obvious choice here, however for secondary typing I debated between giving it Normal or Fighting, but eventually settled on Normal for to give us a bit more type diversity within the Micrometa and not have as many weaknesses as Big Berry may have had if they were Fighting type.
For the ability, I went with a custom aptly named Berry Boost, which derives its function from Big Berry's unique property in game, which is described to be "On kill, restore 2 hearts to self and allies in the row." So, the custom intends to mimic such effects, translating healing the row to healing adjacent allies. In singles this is just restoring 25% of your own health upon KO'ing an enemy, as you won't be having any adjacent allies.
Given Wildfrost is a deck-building Roguelike game, there wasn't all too many elements to draw off of when building the movepool. Of course, some stuff such as Wood Hammer and Bulk up were pretty given, considering Big Berry's design, but most of the movepool is derived from picking and choosing certain moves from the average movepool per type resource we have floating around. Also felt it fitting that Big Berry got some Ice moves given how Wildfrost's setting is entirely winter-centric.
Competitive Role: UU Physical Breaker aimed towards utilizing its high attack and decent bulk to punch holes into the opposing team and heal itself via Berry Boost.

*B = Potentially Notable Moves
Justification: For typing, Queen gets Steel/Electric for literally being a computer.
For Stats, Queen’s physical defense and speed are lowest due to Queen’s generally slothful nature and overall more sleek design suggesting less physical defense than special defense. Special offenses are higher due to Queen’s base form attacks being far more indirect, manipulating others to attack and primarily shooting projectiles at the party. Physical stats are still decent, as Giga Size Queen (while not represented by a form in this sub), does straight up engage in a Punch-Out! style boxing match.
For abilities, Queenly Majesty makes perfect sense for the character, Tangled Feet because of Queen's tipsy nature, and Download in reference to Queen’s special attack, which fails to download due to the internet outage in Chapter 2.
Competitive Role: Heatran-style wallbreaker who can boost offenses with download, gets access to a strong partial-trapping move in Thunder Cage, and Taunt for anti-stall maneuvers.

Special: Psychic, Psyshock, Confusion, Extrasensory, Meteor Beam, Draco Meteor, Hyper Beam, Dark Pulse, Bitter Malice, Shock Wave, Discharge, Charge Beam, Solar Beam, Swift, Ice Beam, Snarl, Focus Blast, Stored Power
Status: Recover, Sleep Talk, Agility, Nasty Plot, Psychic Terrain, Destiny Bond, Mean Look, Taunt, Gravity, Teleport, Thunder Wave, Heal Pulse, Miracle Eye, Disable, Detect, Double Team, Cosmic Power
Reasoning: As an alien lifeform with incredible telekinetic powers, Elfilis more than earns its psychic typing. Alongside psychokinesis it also wields a spear as a weapon, which is why I decided to go the mixed attacker route, aswell as the reason for moves like icicle spear, fell stinger and slash. Frustration, payback and bitter malice come from its resentment at being sealed inside a capsule for possibly centuries. Last resort, double-edge and destiny bond are a callback to how it intended to take down Kirby by making Pop Star and the New World collide with eachother. Finally, I chose the Neuroforce ability not only due to its mind powers but because of the sheer magnitude of them, what with being able to create planet-sized portals and entire pocket dimensions(Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams) even at a weakened state.

Mr._Grizz.png

"You are proactive aren't you... But it's time to clock out. In a few moments, Earth will be ruled by mammals once again."
Origin: Splatoon
Type: Normal/Poison
Abilities: Fuzzy Ooze (HA: Fluffy)
Signature Ability: Fuzzy Ooze - Removes the active Terrain on switch in, also preventing any new Terrain from being created by another pokémon's move or ability while in battle(though doesn't prevent damage or any secondary effects).
Stats: 130/110/146/70/114/30 (600)
Physical: Poison Jab, Superpower, Headlong Rush, Earthquake, Poison Fang, Bite, Crunch, Fury Swipes, Slam, Attack Order, Body Press, Cross Poison, Dire Claw, Frustration, Double-Edge, Brutal Swing, Crush Claw, Fake Out, Beat Up, Endeavor, Thrash, Hammer Arm, Cross Chop, Metal Claw, Shadow Claw, Seismic Toss, Giga Impact, Counter, Payback, Rollout, Egg Bomb
Special: Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Snarl, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Hyper Voice, Boomburst, Spit Up, Freeze-Dry
Status: Sleep Talk, Acid Armor, Defend Order, Heal Order, Nasty Plot, Roar, Toxic Spikes, Stockpile, Swallow, Belly Drum, Endure, Yawn, Taunt, Bulk Up, Work Up, Defense Curl, Snatch, Thief
Reasoning: Mr. Grizz receives the normal type due to being a grizzly bear like Ursaring and Ursaluna, but since he modified his own body with fuzzy ooze, a hazardous substance that works similarly to ink, he also gets poison. The focus on defense and high HP comes from his huge size, while also having bafflingly low speed due to being mostly stationary. Most of the moveset is a mix of basic STAB+moves shared by these other bear pokémon+references to what he does in his boss fight. Order moves, payback, frustation and taunt callback to Grizz being a grumpy boss, whereas snatch, thief, stockpile and egg bomb are related to his goal to steal salmonid eggs. Since he has lived for thousands of years after being put into cryosleep in Ark Polaris he gets both ancient power and freeze-dry.

The Fuzzy Ooze ability is supposed to parallel how it covers a massive portion of Alterna, preventing the player from inking the terrain.

Empress_of_Light.png

Origin: Terraria
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fairy/Psychic
Ability: Resplendent Light - During harsh sunlight this pokémon's special attack is increased by 30%.
Stats: 120/80/85/130/85/100 (600)
Physical: Solar Blade, Sacred Sword, Spirit Break, Dual Wingbeat, Fly, Acrobatics, Psycho Cut
Special: Dazzling Gleam, Disarming Voice, Moonblast, Solar Beam, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Lumina Crash, Psychic, Psyshock, Mystical Power, Flash Cannon, Power Gem, Aura Sphere, Swift, Nature Power, Energy Ball, Aurora Beam
Status: Sleep Talk, Sunny Day, Morning Sun, Teleport, Charm, Glare, Agility, Swords Dance, Light Screen, Reflect, Trick
Reasoning: The EoL is a late game optional boss in Terraria, her fairy type being granted due to being one of the two bosses exclusive to the Hallow biome which is inhabited by magical creatures like pixies and unicorns, aswell as herself looking like the typical winged humanoid depiction of a fairy. The psychic type comes from her heavy association with light and prisms.

I based her movepool on the in-game battle, but also including stuff that I simply thought made sense. Solar Blade, Sacred Sword and Swords Dance in specific were inspired by her Ethereal Lance attack where she summons a bunch of swords that aim at the spot you were last stationed and her Terraprisma weapon drop.

The signature ability comes from the fact she can turn into an "enraged" state during daytime, with the damage of her attacks increasing enough to instakill the player. At first I was thinking of just going with Solar Power, but since it made no sense for her to take damage during sunlight I decided to create a slightly weaker version of the ability that lacks the downside. If 30% is still too much I'm willing to lower it.

Technically counts for the slate since she was added in the 2020 Journey's End update for Terraria.

Edit: Hope y'all don't mind me making this addition at the last minute.

mega me up
Pokémon: Megamaki
Franchise/Origin: Bugsnax (2020)
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Water/Bug
Ability: Levitate/Water Veil (Skill Link)
Notable moves: Pin Missile, Double-Edge, Heavy Slam, Brave Bird, Outrage, Scale Shot, Acrobatics, Take Down, Crunch, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang, Icicle Spear, U-Turn, Rage, Bulk Up, Dragon Dance, Hone Claws, Agility, Roost, Superpower, Fly, Dive, Surf, Signal Beam, Draco Meteor, Hurricane, Air Cutter, Beat Up, Universal Moves (except Toxic), Liquidation, Waterfall, Wave Crash, Aqua Ring, Aqua Tail, Infestation, Defog, Coil, Egg Bomb, Leech Life, Roe Blaster
Signature move: Roe Blaster - Bug - Physical - 95% Accuracy - PP 10(16) - 30 BP
Hits three times (bug-type triple dive)
Stats: 124/102/122/72/64/82 (559 BST)

Reasoning: big coilin man. Levitate is because Megamaki flies in its battle, Water Veil is because water, and Skill Link is because it is constantly shooting barrages of roe at you- which is also the justification for all of the multi-hitting moves. Bug is because it’s a Bugsnak (bug), and Water is because it’s made of fish (live in water) and it lives in the ocean (made of water). Since it flies, it naturally has a lot of flying moves. Dragon Dance is because it’s, well, a dragon- and also a nod to the constantly-dancing Wiggle, who tells the player to originally defeat Megamaki. Most of the moves are just generic STAB moves or coverage, but Dragon moves make sense, since it’s based off of a dragon roll.

Loves the cold and sharing the things she loves.
Pokémon: Selicy
Franchise/Origin: One Step from Eden
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Ice
Ability: Infiltrator / Sharpness / Snow Cloak
Event Ability: Arborist (Steelworker for Grass-type moves)
Custom moves:
  • Ice Needle - Ice, Physical, 45 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2 times, with each hit having a 10% chance to freeze.
  • Step Slash - Normal, Physical, 100 BP, 100% Acc, 10 PP | Slashing move.
  • Arrow Shot (Rock-type physical Snipe Shot)
  • Cold Medicine - Ice, Status, 20 PP | Target regains up to 40 HP. If not Ice-type, the target also takes 100 damage.
  • Kinetic Wave - Water, Special, 65 BP, 90% Acc, 15 PP | Priority -1. Causes the target to switch out.
Notable moves: Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Triple Axel, Icicle Crash, Ice Spinner, Icicle Spear, Ice Shard, Leaf Storm, Thunderbolt, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Moonblast, Sludge Bomb, Aura Sphere, Hurricane, Tri Attack, Wood Hammer, Leaf Blade, Close Combat, Sacred Fire, Gunk Shot, Night Slash, Sacred Sword, X-Scissor, Stone Edge, Explosion, Double-Edge, Quick Attack, Nasty Plot, Swords Dance, Spikes, Stealth Rock
Flavor moves: Blizzard, Icy Wind, Powder Snow, Branch Poke, Rock Tomb, Slash, Present, Guillotine, Hyper Beam, Protect, Snowscape, Cosmic Power, Reflect, Light Screen, Grassy Terrain, Misty Terrain, Psychic Terrain, Electric Terrain, Whirlwind
Stats: 80/115/65/105/80/125 | 570 BST
Selicy.png

Reasoning: Credit to Neosonic97 for having contributed Saffron last generation, as most of this movepool is based on that submission. Apart from that, Selicy is Ice-type because duh, gets Infiltrator because moving to the other side of the field plays a vital role in her combat style, gets Sharpness because people call her Slicey, and gets Snow Cloak because she blends in with the snow. Her Event Ability, Grass coverage and Present are based on the festive counterpart of her boss battle, in which she wears a Santa outfit and fights with Christmas trees instead of icicles. Added Ice STAB is obligatory, Arrow Shot because OSfE has an arrow-related spell, Quick Attack because Selicy is speedy, Close Combat and Double-Edge for the same reason as Infiltrator, and Slash for the same reason as Sharpness.
As opposed to the Mew-like approach taken in the case of Saffron, Selicy is a mixed offensive and physically frail cross between Chien-Pao and Weavile, fellow Ice-types of similar styles.

Possesses a curious tongue that allows it to lick allies back into good health while simultaneously healing itself.
Pokémon: Tropicaleon
Franchise/Origin: NEO: The World Ends with You
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Normal
Ability: Color Change / Protean
Notable moves: Tri Attack, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Giga Drain, Shadow Ball, Twin Beam, Power Gem, Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Pollen Puff, Discharge, Volt Switch, Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse, Facade, Bind, Knock Off, Power Whip, Poltergeist, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Seismic Toss, Circle Throw, Dragon Tail, U-turn, Spark, Iron Tail, Recover, Wish, Protect, Block, Lovely Kiss, Teleport, Glare
Flavor moves: Hyper Beam, Heat Wave, Solar Beam, Psybeam, Signal Beam, Charge Beam, Lick, Smack Down, Peck, Camouflage, Heal Pulse, Purify, Thunder Wave, Laser Focus, Lock-On, Ally Switch, Sunny Day, Gravity, Sweet Scent, Sweet Kiss, Fling
Stats: 90/67/122/100/120/40 | 539 BST
Tropicaleon.png

Reasoning: The strongest chameleon-type Noise, probably as close as a video game character can get to Kecleon. Special Defense and Speed happen to match, but really the base stats are derived from in-game statistics: 9000 HP (divided by 100), 244 PP (halved for Defense), 240 Exp (halved for Special Defense), 0.1% chance to drop Scarletite on Ultimate difficulty (hence base 100 SpA), 0.67% chance to drop Leon on Hard difficulty or higher (hence the base Attack), and a 2% chance of dropping Deadly Fragrance on Medium difficulty or higher, or Shadow Matter on any difficulty (added together for base Speed). And yes, it's about as much of a pain in-game as these base stats might suggest.
In combat, it tends to stay hidden from sight and, at regular intervals, chooses to either attack a Player with its laser vision or heal a fellow Noise with its tongue. (Note that it must first lock on to its target, whatever the case.) When it gets pestered enough by Players, it fires off an electrical discharge before disappearing again.
Scarletite is a material pin that inspires Power Gem, Dazzling Gleam, Sunny Day and some Fighting and Dragon coverage (in light of Koraidon). Leon is the Uber pin that represents its species: a Gravity-based Snare Trap that grabs and pulls forth a target and the enemies surrounding it. Deadly Fragrance is a pin branded Joli bécot (which translates to "pretty kiss/peck") that involves seizing a target and waving it about as in a hammer throw. It's also a Poltergeist pin, which contributes Ghost coverage in tandem with Shadow Matter.

Rinwell.png

"Blah blah blah magic!"
Pokémon: Rinwell
Franchise/Origin: Tales of Arise
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Electric/Water
Ability: Magician
Custom move: Maelstrom (Water-type Magma Storm clone)
Notable moves: Thunderbolt, Discharge, Surf, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Air Slash, Draco Meteor, Tera Blast, Tri Attack, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard, Agility, Work Up, Magic Coat, Snatch, Teleport
Flavor moves: Thunder, Thunder Shock, Water Gun, Gust, Double Shock, Zing Zap, Thunder Punch, Spark, Wave Crash, Liquidation, Acrobatics, Dual Wingbeat, Aerial Ace, Mirror Coat, Disable, Mimic, Detect
Z-Move: Aquarius Damnation - Water, Special, 200 BP | Requires Maelstrom and Rinwellium Z
Stats: 69/84/73/146/112/97 | 581 BST
Rinwell.png

Reasoning: Being a Dahnan mage allows Rinwell to cast light magic, which is actually closer to Electric-type in Tales of Arise, while Water corresponds to her ultimate Mystic Arte. (Also note that her lesser Mystic Arte is light-based.) Her basic attack involves calling upon various types of astral energy, which brings Tri Attack to mind. Her Boost Attack allows her to steal an enemy's spell for her own use, which is represented in Mirror Coat, Magic Coat, Snatch, Disable, and Mimic. Detect and Teleport respectively correspond to dodging and switching party members, while other moves are based on her remaining artes.
Buffs
Concentrate: Agility (boosts Penetration)
Sharpness: Work Up (boosts Attack and Elemental Attack)

Physical
Galeforce: Aerial Ace (wind-based)
Photon Flash: Spark (light-based)
Aqueous Surge: Aqua Jet (water-based)
Lightning Orb: Thunder Punch (light-based)
Thunder Field: Zing Zap (light-based)
Tempest Whirl: Acrobatics (wind-based)
Hydration Orb: Liquidation (water-based)
Celestial Hammer: Double Shock (light-based)
Razor Cyclone: Fly (wind-based, aerial)
Swallow's Flight: Dual Wingbeat ("A cross strike with wind blades")
Electric Discharge: Wild Charge (light-based)
Subzero Confinement: Ice Shard ("Rinwell amasses ice around the enemy before breaking it into shards.")
Placid Pool: Wave Crash (water-based)

Magic
Burning Strike: Flamethrower (fire-based)
Spread: Water Gun (water-based)
Freeze Lancer: Ice Beam (involves ice)
Tidal Wave: Surf (self-explanatory)
Air Thrust: Gust (wind-based)
Cross Blade: Air Slash (one level above)
Cyclone: Hurricane (another level above)
Thunder Blade: Thunder Shock (light-based)
Holy Lance: Discharge (one level above)
Divine Saber: Thunderbolt (another level above)
Maelstrom (unique)
Shooting Star: Thunder (strongest light-based)
Meteor Storm: Draco Meteor
Stats are derived from their Level 100 counterparts in-game, with Penetration representing Speed. HP is divided by 100 and doubled in its deviation from the minimum, whereas the rest of the stats are simply divided by 8 (SpA) or 6 (others). Yes, Rinwell is that much of an outlier in her Elemental Attack.

olympia.png

She has a warrior spirit tempered with focus and discipline and is always eager for a good fight.
Pokémon: Olympia
Franchise/Origin: Rivals of Aether
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fighting/Rock
Ability: Inner Focus / Guts / Crystallize (Galvanize but Rock-type)
Notable moves: Close Combat, Mach Punch, Diamond Storm, Accelerock, Earthquake, Mega Kick, Tail Slap, Facade, Quick Attack, Play Rough, Bullet Punch, U-turn, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Stealth Rock, Bulk Up, Rock Polish, Taunt
Flavor moves: High Jump Kick, Superpower, Body Press, Low Kick, Sky Uppercut, Force Palm, Rolling Kick, Rock Smash, Double Kick, Reversal, Counter, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Smack Down, Bulldoze, Mega Punch, Focus Blast, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Dazzling Gleam, Sharpen, Focus Energy, Detect
Stats: 85/120/99/55/76/100 | 535 BST
Olympia.png

Reasoning: What you see is what you get: a karate mouse with control over gemstones. The gemstones bring Carbink and Diancie to mind, which in turn inspire her Rock typing/moves and Sharpen. As a karate mouse, she also gets Fighting typing, Inner Focus, Guts, and plenty of moves related to her fighting style. (Well, Bulk Up is a mix of the two.) In particular, Emerald Focus and Zircon Straight are special moves that influence Counter + Force Palm and priority moves respectively.
(Also, Guts and Rock typing give her anti-meta value against Draco.)

AriadneFull.png

Pokémon: Ariadne
Franchise/Origin: Phoenotopia: Awakening
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Bug/Poison
Ability: Swarm / Insomnia / Strong Jaw
Signature move: Arachnid Havoc - Bug, Physical, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 5 PP | Upon using this move, the user is protected for the rest of the turn. Cannot be selected twice in a row. Boosted by Strong Jaw. (Biting Gigaton Hammer variant that adds Protect as a volatile status for the user)
Notable moves: Attack Order, Leech Life, Lunge, Gunk Shot, Poison Fang, Signal Beam, Sludge Bomb, Acid Spray, Crunch, Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Stomping Tantrum, Outrage, Tera Blast, Toxic, Curse, Defend Order, Heal Order, Sticky Web, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Toxic Thread
Flavor moves: Bug Bite, Acid, Bite, Thrash, Hyper Fang, Vise Grip, Spider Web, String Shot, Rest
Stats: 150/100/90/130/70/60 | 600 BST
Ariadne.png

Reasoning: Second only to the PHALANX, this late-game boss is a giant spider capable of defecating acid, hence Bug/Poison. It also defecates webs in equal measure, but more importantly it fights with a horde of underlings, some of which are spiky. (Also, it regains HP when Gail exits the room.) When it's not defecating, it tends to move around while snapping its jaws, sometimes in an exceedingly furious manner. Otherwise, this submission takes after Ariados, a fellow spider with a shared namesake.

Hallowed slimes consolidated into a haughty, crushing force adorned in dazzling crystals. She is rumored to grow wings.
Pokemon: Queen Slime
Franchise/Origin: Terraria
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Fairy/Poison
Ability: Levitate, Gooey, Sticky Hold(HA)
Moves: Sludge Bomb, Recover, Teleport, Moonblast, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Psychic, Hurricane, Air Slash, Energy Ball, Future Sight, Fly, Bounce, Power Gem, Heat Wave, Calm Mind, Flash Cannon, Heavy Slam, Slam, Body Slam, Defend Order, Dazzling Gleam, Wish, Muddy Water, Defog, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Light Screen, Moonlight, Flash, Body Press, Tackle, Poison Sting, Wing Attack, Charm, Sky Attack, Steel Wing, Absorb, Acid, Sludge, Sludge Bomb, Acid Spray, Acid Armor, Venoshock, Fairy Wind, Misty Explosion.
Signature move: Regal Gel
Special, Poison-Type, Accuracy 100, Base Power 95, Max PP 16, 50% chance to lower the target’s Speed by 1.
The user shoots regal gel at full force at the target. This may cause the opponent’s Speed to be lowered.
Stats: 85/75/85/110/115/85(BST 555)
Other Notes: This Pokemon is Female Only.
Reasoning: Queen Slime’s main role in the metagame is to be a defensive pivot which is not passive. She checks Malenia, Isaac, and Draco Centauros, brings in threatening teammates with Teleport, whilst not being passive due to her solid Special Attack stat and solid coverage. King K Rool and Zelda give her issues, as she can not hit them particularly hard whilst they threaten her in return. She also may struggle with generally strong physical attackers like Dedede. Having Levitate + Defog also makes her quite a strong defogger.

Queen Slime is regal royalty with a crown with a heart on it. This explains her Fairy type, whilst her Poison type is explained because of her gelatinous appearance and her usage of gel based attacks. She has the ability Levitate because her second phase has her take flight and grow wings, becoming airborne. Regal Gel is one of Queen Slimes attacks, she shoots gel at the player. Power Gem and her Ice attacks are explained by her summon item, the Gelatin Crystal, being found near Crystal Shards and Pink Ice blocks in the Underground Hallow, and Heat Wave is there because Gel can power flamethrower weapons in Terraria. Her other moves are pretty standard: she flies, she slams the player with her body, she can teleport to the player, and has the basic Poison and Fairy attacks.

Pokemon: Spamton
Intended Tier: UU
Type: Dark/Poison
Abilities: Tinted Lens/Receiver/Relentless (Works as the Metronome item)
Stats: 70/97/97/97/97/97 (BST: 555)
Moves: Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Pursuit, Crunch, Bite, Beat Up, Foul Play, Lash Out, Thief, Power Trip, Payback, Dark Pulse, Snarl, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Acid, Spirit Break, Astonish, Attack Order, Pounce, Infestation, Heart Stamp, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Chatter, Pay Day, Covet, Body Slam, Hyper Voice, Spit Up, Egg Bomb, Nasty Plot, Taunt, Torment, Snatch, Switcheroo, Memento, Toxic, Curse, Spite, Heal Pulse, Healing Wish, Power Trick, Iron Defense, Wish, Recover, Encore, Disable, Swagger, Sweet Kiss, Scary Face, Screech, Confide, Leer, Stockpile, Swallow, Gen 8 universal moves
Overview: #1 rated salesman 1997! Spamton is a Nasty Plot sweeper with Tinted Lens to bypass resistances and fair enough bulk (and a respectable defensive typing) to be able to Recover off damage. You could also combine Relentless with a boosting item like Specs or Metronome to make consecutive attacks scale to impressive heights for stallbreaking.

Pokemon: Spamton NEO
Intended Tier: Ubers
Type: Dark/Poison
Abilities: Tinted Lens/Receiver/Anger Point
Stats: 107/127/97/127/97/97 (BST: 652)
Moves: Same as Spamton
Overview: A stronger version of Spamton, as one could expect. Without Relentless, his best bet is to use Tinted Lens to break past foes that would ordinarily resist his STABs.

Pokemon: Edge
Type: Normal
Ability: Sharpness/Defiant
Stats: 80/115/75/60/72/113 (BST: 515)
Signature Move: Stormblade
Type: Normal
Category: Physical
Power: 100
Accuracy: 100
PP: 10 (max 16)
Effect: Works similarly to Shell Trap (-3 priority), but applies to contact moves, and the user will move before the opponent using the contact move; slicing move and contact. While Stormblade is active, the user will take half damage from any source.
Moves: Slash, Return, Frustration, Extreme Speed, Double-Edge, Mega Kick, Body Slam, Quick Attack, Tera Blast, Tackle, Night Slash, Crunch, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Throat Chop, Sacred Sword, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Triple Kick, Stomping Tantrum, Trailblaze, Aqua Step, Aerial Ace, U-Turn, Swords Dance, Scary Face, Leer, Defense Curl, Foresight, Helping Hand, Psych Up, Work Up, Calm Mind, Agility, Detect, Taunt, Torment
Overview: Edge will likely either run Extreme Speed/Night Slash/Sacred Sword/Swords Dance or Band, possibly with Double Edge over ESpeed and U-Turn over SD. If you want, you can run SD with Slash and Trailblaze, but ESpeed is likely more appealing.

"Creature of steel, my gratitude upon thee for my freedom.
But the crimes thy kind have committed against humanity are NOT forgotten.
And thy punishment… is DEATH!"

Pokemon: Minos Prime
Intended Tier: OU
Franchise/Origin: ULTRAKILL
Type: Ghost / Dragon
Ability: Justified / Defiant
Movepool:
  • Serpent Smash (Dragon-type Fire Lash Clone), Curse, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Phantom Force, Sprite, Shadow Punch, Shadow Bone, Astonish, Grudge, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Close Combat, Cross Chop, Detect, Dynamic Punch, Final Gambit, Focus Blast, Focus Punch, Karate Chop, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Power-Up Punch, Revenge, Reversal, Rock Smash, Seismic Toss, Jump Kick, High Jump Kick, Arm Thrust, Body Press, Hammer Arm, Mach Punch, Sky Uppercut, Earthquake, Earth Power, Pound, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Body Slam, Bide, Double Edge, Swords Dance, Agility, Facade, Leer, Rage, Retaliate, Iron Head, Strength, Thrash, Uproar, Roar, Work Up, Torment, Taunt, Darkest Lariat, Knock Off, Explosion, Dragon Breath, Dual Chop, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Tail, Outrage, Breaking Swipe, Dragon Rush, Fire Punch, Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Blaze Kick
Stats: 100 / 120 / 90 / 75 / 70 / 100 {BST: 555}
Reasoning: Minos Prime is the first Prime Soul in ULTRAKILL, which are souls of dead individuals that are so strong willfully that they are able to manifest a physical form. As for Minos, he was the judge of hell, and he worked in the Lust layer in particular, creating a sprawling city to support the residents of the layer, as he believed that the punishment people were receiving for their crimes in that layer was unfair. However, the angels ruling over hell did not agree with Minos’ actions, and despite Minos’ own protests, he was struck down by the angels. In the game, we find him trapped in the Flesh Prison in his own corpse, which is set to destroy all Minos had built; which understandably makes him angry. We free him from the Flesh Prison, but he swears that he must defeat us because the machines like V1(player character) caused the extinction of humanity. During the battle with him, he demonstrates a large variety of serpent-themed attacks, including kicks, punches, slams, and projectiles.

"Do not wallow in defeat. Take pride that you did your best."
Pokemon: Nagoriyuki
Intended Tier: OU
Franchise/Origin: Guilty Gear Strive
Type: Dark / Fighting
Ability: Sniper / Blood Rage (This Pokemon's Attack is raised by 1 when it reaches 1/2 or less of its max HP.)
Movepool:
  • Draining Blade (Dark-type Bitter Blade clone), Dark Pulse, Assurance, Kowtow Cleave, Night Slash, Kowtow Cleave, Sucker Punch, Taunt, Bite, Crunch, Brutal Swing, Knock Off, Lash Out, Payback, Pursuit, Snarl, Throat Chop, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Close Combat, Counter, Focus Blast, Low Kick, Low Sweep, Reversal, Karate Chop, Quick Guard, Sacred Sword, Detect, Aura Sphere, Revenge, Vacuum Wave, Iron Defense, Iron Head, Metal Claw, Smart Strike, Aerial Ace, Air Slash, Cut, Leech Life, X-Scissor, Giga Drain, Mega Drain, Fury Cutter, Absorb, Poison Jab, Shadow Claw, Guillotine, Giga Impact, Leer, Mean Look, Scary Face, Take Down, Swords Dance, Double Edge, Scratch, Tackle, Roar, Uproar, Sky Drop, Play Rough, Heal Block, Calm Mind, Psycho Cut
Stats: 110 / 124 / 85 / 66 / 80 / 85 {BST: 550}
Reasoning: Nagoriyuki is a vampire samurai who was originally under the control of the villain of the Guilty Gear franchise, Happy Chaos. After freed from his control, Nagoriyuki helps the Guilty Gear fighters take down Happy Chaos using his abilities and swordsmanship. His vampire abilities also give him the ability to transform into his Blood Rage state, which increases his damage at the cost of health.

"In the Tohoku region, locals use the word 'tatarimokke' to refer to the spiteful curse of those who met grisly deaths."
Pokemon: Tatarimokke
Franchise/Origin: Nioh 2
Type: Flying / Ghost
Ability: Limber / Keen Eye / Competitive
Movepool:
  • Air Slash, Brave Bird, Defog, Dual Wingbeat, Oblivion Wing, Roost, Tailwind, Aerial Ace, Fly, Gust, Hurricane, Mirror Move, Pluck, Peck, Feather Dance, Sky Attack, Drill Peck, Roost, Wing Attack, Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Shadow Claw, Spite, Phantom Force, Curse, Hex, Shadow Sneak, Night Shade, Spite, Destiny Bond, Grudge, Astonish, Ominous Wind, Dark Pulse, Foul Play, Nasty Plot, Knock Off, Taunt, Assurance, Embargo, Snatch, Thief, Torment, Night Slash, Rapid Spin, Drill Run, U-Turn, Razor Wind, Tackle, Slash, Cut, Scratch, Take Down, Metal Claw, Will-O-Wisp, Toxic, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Hyper Beam, Steel Wing, Icy Wind, Heat Wave
Stats: 90 / 70 / 80 / 120 / 90 / 100 {BST: 550}
Reasoning: Tatarimokke is a boss in Nioh 2 that is formed when spirits come together. It is an owl with a wide variety of attacks, including wing swipes, pecks, slams, spirits, and beams, with immunities and resistances to poison and paralysis, explaining the abilities.

Pokémon: Ebony Queen’s Apple
Origin: Limbus Company
Intended Tier: OU
Type: Grass/Dark
Abilities: Grassy Surge / Entangling Roots (Intimidate but for Speed; Does not work against Airborne mons) / Long Reach
Notable moves: Grass Knot, Giga Drain, Power Whip, Punishment, Bind, Night Slash, Drill Run, Swords Dance, Horn Leech, Wood Hammer, Toxic, Burning Jealousy, Power Trip, Protect, Grassy Glide, Apple Acid, Knock Off, Throat Chop
Stats: 84/126/76/94/104/76 [560]
Reasoning: Ebony Queen’s Apple is a plantlike WAW-level Abnormality based off the Queen from Snow White who poisoned the titular princess and her vanity and grudges. As WAWs are the second-highest threat level that could be assigned to Abnormalities (The District 4 Facility still having much of its Qliphoth Deterrence is why the Sinners were able to defeat her this early on in the game), she has a BST comparable to mons like Volcarona or the Tapus. In gameplay, her fight starts off with the Sinners having a speed penalty from roots around the battlefield, which can be cleared a few turns in via a skill check. She uses these roots to attack, and her strongest involves running many sharp vines through a target, which also hits quite hard. Additionally, the aforementioned poison apple itself became another Abnormality, known as Snow White’s Apple, that was shown in the two prior installments in Limbus Company’s series; The classification code for that Abnormality is F-04-42, and as the tie-in webcomic for one of those previous installments showed, Abnormalities can have variants, which are referred to as “aberrations”, so Ebony Queen’s Apple being all but stated to be an aberration of Snow White’s Apple is why her HP and Attack are both multiples of 42.
Competitive Niche: Rillaboom moment. You could also run Entangling Roots if you want to spam a different move but you’ll likely do Rillaboom things.

Ability: Reckless / Rattled / Anger Point
Moves: Universal moves, Circle Throw, Crunch, Brutal Swing, Double-Edge, Bounce, Sky Uppercut, Quick Attack, Taunt, Counter, Rapid Spin, Drain Punch, Close Combat, Superpower, Thrash, Outrage, Body Slam, Body Press, Bind, Boomburst, Overdrive, Trailblaze, Wild Charge, Phantom Force, Poison Jab, Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, Heavy Slam [120kg], Rollout
Stats: 90/125/90/65/60/90 [520]
Reasoning: Peppino is a human pizza chef that just so happens to be a capable grappler given that half the combat in Pizza Tower revolves around grabbing and throwing enemies, with bites and spinning suplexes includes among the animations. It also happens to be that Peppino can dash at gradually higher and higher speeds, which opens up the super jump, hence Trailblaze and Bounce. He can parry attacks, which manifests as taunts if executed without being attacked. Get a high enough combo and Peppino will begin to crackle with electricity, indicating he now has a stronger version of that taunt as a screen nuke. The moves listed starting with Phantom Force are from the transformations he can experience during Pizza Tower, minus the shotgun, rocket, and box because I'm drawing a blank on those.
