Gliscor is an interesting pick on balanced teams due to the unique role it plays, checking common threats such as Necrozma-DM, defensive Primal Groudon, Arceus-Dark, and Arceus-Fairy while providing solid utility as a status absorber and stallbreaker. Sand Tomb is used to trap walls such as Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, Chansey, and Ferrothorn. Roost is necessary to maintain Gliscor's health, which allows it to comfortably trap Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, and even Arceus-Dark and Arceus-Fairy. Taunt is used to shut down a trapped Ferrothorn or Chansey and to prevent slower foes like defensive Primal Groudon, Zygarde-C, Giratina, and Ho-Oh from using Rest or Defog. It also forces a trapped Arceus forme to waste its Judgment PP, which lets Gliscor's teammates freely switch in later in the game. Guillotine, while inconsistent, is another interesting choice to make opponents think twice before hard switching in an offensive threat such as Mega Rayquaza, Zacian-C, Yveltal, or Primal Kyogre that can OHKO Gliscor. It also discourages Calm Mind Arceus formes from setting up on it. Gliscor is a fantastic Defogger since it forces out common Stealth Rock users like Necrozma-DM and Primal Groudon. Alternatively, Knock Off may be used to remove crucial items from common switch-ins such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Ho-Oh and Lugia, Leftovers from Ferrothorn, Giratina, and Necrozma-DM, and Life Orb from Mega Rayquaza and Yveltal. Another option on non-Guillotine sets is U-turn, which gives Gliscor the option to swap to an offensive teammate when a passive, untrappable Pokemon like Giratina, Ho-Oh, and Arceus-Water try to switch in. 244 HP maximize Poison Heal recovery, Special Defense is maximized to check Overheat Primal Groudon and support Arceus, and the rest are put in Defense.

Gliscor fits best on bulky balance teams. It appreciates specially defensive teammates such as Chansey and Ferrothorn, which check Primal Kyogre, Xerneas, and Ice Beam support Arceus. It is worth noting that Heal Bell Chansey can hinder Gliscor, since Heal Bell forces it to reactivate Toxic Orb. Gliscor is also vulnerable to Zacian-C and Mega Rayquaza, so physical walls like Necrozma-DM and Lugia should be paired with it. In return, Gliscor checks Ho-Oh, provides solid hazard control, and acts as a status absorber. Giratina is an excellent teammate to beat offensive Primal Groudon sets that otherwise break through Gliscor and free up a moveslot by running Defog. Yveltal and Eternatus also threaten Gliscor, so Tyranitar is an excellent teammate for it, and Gliscor covers Tyranitar's weakness to Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM in return. Entry hazard support from Swords Dance Primal Groudon is greatly appreciated to hinder constant switching in and out from Pokemon Gliscor cannot trap, such as Mega Sableye, Giratina, and Ho-Oh. Lastly, offensive teammates such as Zacian-C, Calm Mind Arceus formes, Mega Rayquaza, Xerneas, and Eternatus greatly benefit from Gliscor's ability to lure in and trap defensive walls, making way for them to sweep late-game.

Gliscor is an interesting pick on balanced teams due to the unique role it plays. It checks, checking common threats such as Necrozma-DM, defensive Primal Groudon, Arceus-Dark, and Arceus-Fairy, while providing and provides solid defensive utility. It is primarily used as a trapper, defensive wall or a stall breaker depending on the set it opts for. [find somewhere to mention which sets fulfill which roles since it’s not very clear which ones do what.] Sand Tomb is used to trap incoming Defensive walls such as Necrozma-DM, Primal Groudon, Chansey and Ferrothorn. Roost is necessary to maintain Gliscor's health which allows it to comfortably trap Necrozma-DM, Groudon-Primal and even bulky Arceus formes like Arceus-Dark and Arceus-Fairy which lack a super effective Judgment or Ice Beam. Taunt is used to shut down a trapped Ferrothorn, or Chansey and prevent slower foes like defensive Primal Groudon, Zygarde, Giratina and Ho-Oh from using Rest or Defog. It also forces a trapped Arceus forme to waste it's Judgment PP which allows free switch ins for Gliscor's teammate later in the game. Guillotine, while inconsistent, is another interesting choice since it makes the opponent think twice before hard switching into an offensive threat such as Mega Rayquaza, Zacian-C, Yveltal or Primal Kyogre by threatening a potential OHKO. [Consider mentioning how Guillotine helps Gliscor to not be setup fodder, since opponents are more likely to try to kill it instead of risking a guillotine hit as they try to set up.] Gliscor is a fantastic defogger since it forces out common Stealth Rock users like Necrozma-DM and Primal Groudon. Alternatively, Knock Off may be used to remove crucial items from common switch ins such as Heavy Duty Boots from Ho-Oh and Lugia, Leftovers from Ho-Oh, [I don’t think lefties Ho-Oh is very relevant ngl] Ferrothorn, Giratina and Necrozma-DM and Life orb from Mega Rayquaza and Yveltal. Another option on non Guillotine sets is U-turn, which gives Gliscor the option to swap to an offensive teammate when a passive untrappable pokemon like Giratina, Ho-Oh or Support Arceus try to switch in. Toxic Orb is used to poison Gliscor so that it can make the most out of Poison Heal. 244 HP hits a Poison Heal number, SpD is maximized to check Overheat Primal Groudon and support Arceus and rest in put into Speed. [Why? What benchmark does this hit that means that the evs don’t need to go into defense?]

Gliscor fits best on Bulky balance teams. It appreciates specially defensive teammates such as Chansey and Ferrothorn, which check Primal Kyogre, Xerneas and Ice Beam support Arceus. [Consider mentioning that Chansey isn’t necessarily optimal since it can heal bell away Gliscor’s poison, potentially making it hard to get in safely.] Gliscor is also vulnerable to Zacian-Crowned and Mega Rayquaza so physical walls like Necrozma-DM and Lugia should be paired with it. In return, Gliscor check Ho-Oh, provides solid hazard control and acts as a status absorber. Yveltal and Eternatus also threaten Gliscor so Tyranitar is an excellent teammate for it since Gliscor covers Tyranitar's weakness to Primal Groudon in return. Hazard support from Primal Groudon and Ferrothorn is greatly appreciated so that pokemon immune to trapping or Sand Tomb such as Mega Sableye, Giratina and Ho-Oh cannot freely spam switches. Lastly, teammates such as Mega Rayquaza, Xerneas and Eternatus greatly benefit from Gliscor's ability to lure in and trap defensive walls, making way for the aforementioned threats to sweep late game. [I feel like you should mention that giratina works very well with Gliscor since Gira beats offensive don sets, which would just roll right over it.]

Another option on non Guillotine sets is U-turn, which gives Gliscor the option to swap to an offensive teammate when a passive untrappable pokemon like Giratina, Ho-Oh or Support Arceus Arceus-Water -some formes are trappable, so it's better to give a specific example here- try to switch in. Toxic Orb is used to poison Gliscor so that it can make the most out of Poison Heal. -fluff- 244 HP hits a Poison Heal number, SpD is maximized to check Overheat Primal Groudon and support Arceus and rest in put into Speed to outspeed Zero speed investment Zygarde.

Gliscor fits best on Bulky balance teams. It appreciates specially defensive teammates such as Chansey and Ferrothorn, which check Primal Kyogre, Xerneas, and Ice Beam support Arceus. It is worth noting that Heal Bell Chansey can prove to be disadvantageous to Gliscor, since it has to reactivate it's Toxic Orb to get Poison Heal recovery. Gliscor is also vulnerable to Zacian-Crowned and Mega Rayquaza so physical walls like Necrozma-DM and Lugia should be paired with it. In return, Gliscor checks Ho-Oh, provides solid hazard control and acts as a status absorber. Giratina is an excellent teammate for Gliscor, since it beats offensive Primal Groudon sets which otherwise break through Gliscor, and frees up a moveslot by fitting Defog. Yveltal and Eternatus also threaten Gliscor so Tyranitar is an excellent teammate for it since Gliscor covers Tyranitar's weakness to Primal Groudon and Necrozma-DM in return. Hazard support from Swords Dance Primal Groudon and Ferrothorn is greatly appreciated so that pokemon immune to trapping or Sand Tomb such as Mega Sableye, Giratina and Ho-Oh cannot freely spam switches -you have to specify Swords Dance Primal Groudon here; it is the only set that can keep Stealth Rock up against Giratina and therefore the only way to deter Giratina 'from spamming free switches'; Ferrothorn shouldn't be mentioned in this context, since it fails at keeping Spikes up against Giratina, Mega Sableye, and Ho-Oh- . Lastly, teammates such as Zacian-C, Calm Mind Arceus formes, Mega Rayquaza, Xerneas and Eternatus greatly benefit from Gliscor's ability to lure in and trap defensive walls, making way for the aforementioned threats to sweep late game.
