[OVERVIEW]

A good defensive typing and great physical bulk lets Gliscor seal itself as a versatile pick that can be placed on a variety of teams that need a reliable defensive pivot. Its Ground / Flying or Ground / Fairy typing alongside the use of Mega Stones such as a Venusaurite and Altarianite respectively grants it resistances and immunities to Fighting-, Ground-, Fire-, Electric-, and Dragon-type moves depending on the mega stone it chooses to run. This in conjunction with Gliscor's great physical bulk upon Mega Evolution enables it in checking a plethora of top metagame threats such as Primal Groudon, Entei, Victini, and Terrakion. Gliscor can also manage to turn itself into a potent setup sweeper through its Altarianite set, breaking through most walls after a single boost while still managing to check dangerous threats such as Buzzwole and Being able to run utility options such as Stealth Rock, Defog, Roost, U-turn, Toxic, and Swords Dance allows Gliscor to perform multiple roles depending on what its team desires, turning it into quite a customizable threat. However, a weakness to Ice- and Water-type moves lets Gliscor be threatened by certain opposing Pokemon such as Ice Beam Mew and Primal Kyogre. This is further problematic as Gliscor still possesses a rather low Special Defense stat even after Mega Evolving, meaning special attackers can still manage to break through it even after the Special Defense boosts. Gliscor may also struggle to fit all its move options in one moveset given how it usually does not have the space to run all the utility options it wants in one set. It also faces some slight competition as an offensive threat from Landorus-T, given how the former threat can provide more immediate power while still possessing the means to run sets including both Stealth Rock and Swords Dance.

Moves
========

Earthquake provides Gliscor with a reliable STAB move which targets the Fire- and Electric-types it is intended to check such as Primal Groudon, Victini, and Terrakion. U-turn is a great coverage option which grants Gliscor the ability to provide useful momentum to its team, enabling it to pivot out against the threats that are brought in to check it. Toxic may be used as an alternative to cripple opposing defensive threats that are usually brought in against Gliscor such as Manectite Mew, support Arceus formes, and opposing Gliscor, enabling it to wear the aforementioned threats throughout the match. Roost provides Gliscor reliable recovery which increases its overall sustainability. It also comes with the added benefit of potentially removing its Ice-type weakness entirely if used before incoming Ice-type attacks. Defog is a great utility move that removes all entry hazards on the field, providing Gliscor's team crucial support as a result. Gliscor may also be used to setup Stealth Rock instead, however it struggles to reliably set them up against common Magic Bounce users such as Blissey, Mew, Mandibuzz, and Zapdos.

Set Details
========

EVs are maximized in both HP and Defense with an Impish nature, enabling Gliscor to check key threats such as Terrakion, Swords Dance Primal Groudon, and Victini to success, avoiding the 2HKO from the aforementioned attackers even after Stealth Rock chip damage. An alternative mixed defensive EV spread consisting of 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 SpD with an Impish nature may also be considered to better handle more specially offensive threats such as Primal Groudon and Raikou while still enabling Gliscor to check attackers such as Kartana and Terrakion as well. A fully specially defensively invested EV spread with a Careful nature can be considered as well, better taking on hits from the likes of offensive Primal Groudon and Cameruptite Magearna as a result. Minimum Speed can be run as Gliscor does not need to outpace any notable threats and can provide some useful slow pivoting to its team with U-turn. Venusaurite provides Gliscor a crucial boost in both its defenses while granting it the ability in Thick Fat, letting it check certain threats such as Primal Groudon, Victini, and Arceus-Ground more reliably. Poison Heal is the given ability pre-mega evolution in the case that Gliscor gets poisoned by opposing threats such as Blissey and Toxapex before Mega Evolving, granting it recovery instead of potentially crippling it severely.

Usage Tips
========

Gliscor is primarily used as a reliable defensive pivot that come in against Fire-types such as Primal Groudon, Victini, and Red Orb Raikou, in which it can usually provide momentum for its team through the use of U-turn on the aforementioned threats. Defog should be used against Stealth Rock setters that Gliscor can usually beat such as Primal Groudon, Necrozma-DM, and Aggronite Mew. Although, it must be wary of potential status moves such as Toxic and Will-O-Wisp that may be used by the mentioned threats that can severely deter Gliscor as it attempts to remove entry hazards. Try to keep Gliscor's health relatively high, as it should not pivot in against certain threats such as Lucarionite Zygarde, Terrakion ,and Kartana since they may potentially overwhelm it if its HP is left low. If carrying Toxic or Stealth Rock, be mindful of common Magic Bounce users such as Blissey, Mew, and Hippowdon which can all bounce back the utility moves against Gliscor and leave it in a disadvantageous position.

Team Options
========

Gliscor appreciates teammates that can help cover its weakness to Ice- and Water-type attacks, where great examples include Magearna, Primal Groudon, and Golisopod. Magearna can create a useful VoltTurn core with Volt Switch while Primal Groudon and Golisopod can help break through Gliscor's checks through the use of Swords Dance. Offensive wallbreakers that appreciate Gliscor's ability to reliably remove entry hazards such as Ho-Oh, Raikou, and Lucarionite Zygarde can also be great partners, applying offensive pressure to the defensive threats that Gliscor may struggle to handle such as Blissey and Buzzwole. Specially defensive walls like Blissey, Toxapex, and Ho-Oh can help Gliscor deal with the powerful special wallbreakers that may overwhelm it such as Tapu Lele, Darkrai, and Lunala. Blissey can also provide cleric support while Jirachi can take the role as a Stealth Rock setter. If not running Stealth Rock itself, other setters such as Terrakion, Mew, and Necrozma-DM may be considered to help break through Gliscor's checks such as Ho-Oh and Golisopod as Gliscor otherwise struggles to cover the aforementioned threats without entry hazard chip support. Steel-types such as Aggronite Mew, Aggronite Buzzwole, and Magearna can act as secondary checks to the Ice-type attackers which threaten out Gliscor such as Weavile while Gliscor can switch into Ground- and Fire-type attacks in return.

nature: Adamant
evs: 252 HP / 76 Atk / 68 SpD / 112 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

Swords Dance boosts Gliscor's Attack to respectable levels, letting it break through some of its checks such as Blissey and Arceus-Fairy after a boost. Earthquake acts as Gliscor's primary STAB move that heavily dents most neutral targets and lets it threaten common threats such as Primal Groudon and Magearna. Aqua Tail deals incredible damage under the heavy rain even if Gliscor does not gain STAB from it, letting it target Flying-types that would want to switch into Earthquake such as Landorus-T, Ho-Oh, and Pinsirite Cobalion alongside OHKOing Primal Groudon. Roost provides Gliscor a source of reliable recovery, improving its sustainability which enables it the chance the sweep numerous times throughout the match.

Set Details
========

The given Attack investment with an Adamant nature enables Gliscor to 2HKO Kartana while also having the chance in OHKOing threats such as offensive Primal Groudon, Cameruptite Magearna and Altarianite Entei after some slight chip damage. 112 EVs are placed in Speed to ensure that Gliscor outpaces Necrozma-DM, Aggronite Mew, and Xerneas. On the defensive side, the HP investment permits Gliscor to avoid the 2HKO from Stone Edge off of offensive Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock chip damage. Blue Orb provides Gliscor a useful immunity to Fire-type moves upon Primal Reversion alongside a great boost in its Attack, permitting it to switch into and offensively check Primal Groudon, Victini, and Volcorona. Hyper Cutter is given as a base ability in the rare case that Gliscor faces opposing Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Manectite Mew, where it can avoid the drop in Attack.

Usage Tips
========

Only proceed to setup once Gliscor's checks in Golisopod, Latiasite Toxapex, and Giratina-O have been appropriately worn down as they can all prevent it from sweeping and can either cripple it through status or use it as potential setup fodder. Gliscor usually gets the opportunity to setup a Swords Dance or recover its HP with Roost when it forces out opposing threats such as Primal Groudon and Lopunnite Zeraoara. If Gliscor uses its utility options too loosely, it may leave itself prone to revenge killing by threats that can dent it. It must also be wary of common Red Orb users such as Victini and Volcorona, as they can switch in against a predicted Aqua Tail and proceed to either fire off a powerful Fire-type move in V-Create or setup with Quiver Dance respectively. Gliscor can be brought in against most Fire-type threats thanks to the immunity that the heavy rain provides it to these type of attacks. However, it must be careful against certain threats such as Primal Groudon and Victini as they may run lure options such as Hidden Power [Ice] and Glaciate respectively which can severely dent Gliscor as a result.

Team Options
========

Partners that appreciate Gliscor's ability to check most Fire-types such as Magearna, Buzzwole, and Kartana can be useful as they can capitalize on Gliscor's ability in covering threats such as Primal Groudon and Entei. Checks to Water-types are necessary due to Gliscor's extreme weakness to them especially under the heavy rain, where partners such as Toxapex, Keldeo and Manaphy alongside Red Orb users like Victini and Raikou are all good picks. Entry hazard setters such as Primal Groudon, Mew, and Terrakion provide Gliscor the much appreciated entry hazard chip damage which wears down threats such as Zapdos, support Arceus formes, and Pinsirite Zygarde. Additional wallbreakers like Tapu Lele, Lunala, and Zygarde may be added on Gliscor's team to apply additional offensive pressure against walls such as support Arceus formes, Manectite Mew, and Toxapex, aiding Gliscor in potentially pulling off a sweep by wearing the aforementioned defensive threats down.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Bulky Swords Dance set with a Salamencite equipped permits Gliscor to fire off powerful Aerilate boosted attacks, allowing it to break through even the most sturdiest of walls such as Arceus-Ghost and Toxapex. Although, this set usually gets outclassed by Landorus-T due to its better offensive power. Sablenite may be run on defensive sets as well, enabling Gliscor to deter the use of entry hazards and status moves against it leaving it less prone to moves such as Taunt and Toxic commonly run on threats such as Terrakion and Victini. However, there are generally better users of the stone such as Blissey and Buzzwole and the forfeiting of Thick Fat through the Venusaurite is also less favorable.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water-types**: Water-types such as Manaphy, Keldeo, Primal Kyogre, and Golisopod can all threaten Gliscor with their STAB Water-type moves, potentially OHKOing Gliscor especially under the heavy rain. However, they all don't appreciate coming into an Earthquake apart from Golisopod.

**Ice-type Coverage**: Ice-type coverage which is commonly run on threats such as Mew, Magearna, Lunala, and Weavile can all threaten Gliscor even when factoring the damage reduction from Thick Fat, forcing Gliscor to be careful coming in against these threats.

**Flying-types**: Most Flying-types like Zapdos, Pinsirite Magearna, Cobalion, Metagross, and Landorus-T can come in on Earthquake and threaten to dent Gliscor with their offensive attacks or use it as setup fodder. Although, Gliscor can still cripple the aforementioned threats through Toxic, dent them hard with a rain boosted Aqua Tail, or pivot out against them by utilizing U-turn.

**Specially Offensive Walbreakers**: Powerful attackers such as Tapu Lele, Xerneas, Shaymin-Sky, and Darkrai can all severely dent Gliscor with their coverage attacks even if Glsicor chooses to invest in its specially defensive bulk. However, they all fear being dented by Earthquake.

**Status**: Toxic and Will-O-Wisp off of threats such as Primal Groudon, Blissey, and Mew and support Arceus formes can severely cripple Gliscor, hampering its sustainability alongside its ability to dent Fire-types with Earthquake for the remainder of the match if it lacks cleric support.

Despite an attempt to check this, there are far too many errors for me to continue. There is an extreme misunderstanding of how the Venusaurite set works and how it actually handles threats, as nearly all of the actually relevant mentions were just from Primal Groudon. The overview contradicts itself many times as well, quoting that Gliscor has excellent mixed bulk (false; considering Aggronite Buzzwole actually has effective better special bulk than Venuscor) and then correctly quoting that Gliscor has poor Special Defense. Usage Tips yet again quotes irrelevant Pokemon - correct tips but incorrect examples. Team Options show very few relevant Pokemon, only Magearna and Primal Groudon appeared like they were actually doing anything for Gliscor, the rest were either fluff or things Gliscor would not be pivoting into; Venuscor is not one to really force things out.

Blue Orb is a bit better but there are still errors scattered over the place. No specific benchmarks are displayed for why Gliscor has those EVs; and the addition of Stealth Rock for the Stone Edge PDon calc is nowhere to be seen. Blue Orb Gliscor is yet again not a check to Entei, etc...

Team Options seems solid, oddly enough. But that's not enough to save the analysis.

* Toxic may be used as an alternative to cripple opposing defensive threats that are usually brought in against Gliscor such as Manectite Mew, support Arceus formes, and opposing Gliscor, enabling it to wear the aforementioned threats throughout the match.
* Roost provides Gliscor reliable recovery which increases its overall sustainability. It also comes with the added benefit of potentially removing its Ice-type weakness entirely if used before incoming Ice-type attacks.

Although, it must be wary of potential status moves such as Toxic and Will-O-Wisp that may be used by the aforementioned threats that can severely deter Gliscor as it attempts to remove entry hazards. Gliscor does not beat terrakion, also aforementioned is not this common of a word.
* Try to keep Gliscor's health relatively high, as it is often used to pivot in against certain threats such as Lucarionite Zygarde, Victini,and Kartana which may potentially overwhelm it if its HP is left low. Don't pivot gliscor in against kartana or luc zyg
* If carrying Toxic or Stealth Rock, be mindful of common Magic Bounce users such as Blissey, Mew, and Hippowdon which can all bounce back the utility moves against Gliscor and leave it in a disadvantageous position.

Team Options
========

* Gliscor appreciates teammates that can help cover its weakness to Ice- and Water-type attacks, where great examples include Magearna, Primal Groudon, and Golisopod. Where the former can create a useful VoltTurn core with Volt Switch while the ladder two examples can help break through Gliscor's checks through the use of Swords Dance. Severe Gp issues, not really sure what this is saying.
* Offensive wallbreakers that appreciate Gliscor's ability to reliably remove entry hazards such as Ho-Oh, Raikou, and Pinsirite Zygarde can also be great partners, applying offensive pressure to the defensive threats that Gliscor may struggle to handle such as Blissey and Buzzwole. Pinsirite zygarde is not a wallbreaker
* Specially defensive walls like Blissey, Toxapex, and Jirachi can help Gliscor deal with the powerful special wallbreakers that may overwhelm it such as Tapu Lele, Darkrai, and Lunala. Blissey can also provide cleric support while Jirachi can take the role as a Stealth Rock setter. Jirachi si a tank, not a wall, and not really a good one either. Ho oh or the like would be way better here
* If not running Stealth Rock itself, other setters such as Terrakion, Mew, and Necrozma-DM may be considered to help break through Gliscor's checks such as Ho-Oh and Golisopod. this is really kinda bare bones and uninformative
* Steel-types such as Aggronite Mew, Aggronite Buzzwole, and Magearna can act as secondary checks to the Ice-type attackers which threaten out Gliscor such as Weavile while Gliscor can switch into Ground- and Fire-type attacks in return.

Moves
========

* Swords Dance boosts Gliscor's Attack to respectable levels, letting it break through some of its checks such as Blissey and Arceus-Fairy after a boost.
* Earthquake acts as Gliscor's primary STAB move that heavily dents most neutral targets and lets it threaten common threats such as Primal Groudon and Magearna.
* Aqua Tail deals incredible damage under the heavy rain even if Gliscor does not gain STAB from it, letting it target Flying-types that would want to switch into Earthquake such as Landorus-T, Ho-Oh, and Pinsirite Cobalion. Also ohkoing pdon, thats pretty big
* Roost provides Gliscor a source of reliable recovery, improving its sustainability which enables it the chance the sweep numerous times throughout the match.

Set Details
========

* The given Attack investment with an Adamant nature enables Gliscor to 2HKO Kartana while also having the chance in OHKOing threats such as offensive Primal Groudon, Cameruptite Magearna, and Altarianite Entei after some slight chip damage. 116 EVs are placed in Speed to ensure that Gliscor outpaces offensive Primal Groudon, Necrozma-DM, and uninvested Altarianite Zygarde. On the defensive side, the HP investment permits Gliscor to avoid the 2HKO from Stone Edge off of offensive Primal Groudon after Stealth Rock chip damage. Remove groudon, that's not why we run this. Ditto for altarianite zyg. Put ndm more front and center, and list better examples of what glisc always outpaces.
* Blue Orb provides Gliscor a useful immunity to Fire-type moves upon Primal Reversion alongside a great boost in its Attack, permitting it to switch into and offensively check Primal Groudon, Victini, and Volcorona.
Mention hyper cutter blocking intimidate, stresh is just bad at game mechanics smh.

Usage Tips
========

* Gliscor can be brought in against most Fire-type threats thanks to the immunity that the heavy rain provides it to these type of attacks. However, it must be careful against certain threats such as Primal Groudon and Victini as they may run lure options such as Hidden Power [Ice] and Glaciate respectively which can severely dent Gliscor as a result. Hp ice victini is not really a thing, and this def isn't usage tip #1 (probably doesn't belong on here at all).
* Only proceed to setup once Gliscor's checks in Golisopod, Latiasite Toxapex, and Pinsirite Zygarde have been appropriately worn down as they can all prevent it from sweeping and can either cripple it through status or use it as potential setup fodder.
* Gliscor usually gets the opportunity to setup a Swords Dance or recover its HP with Roost when it forces out opposing threats such as Primal Groudon and Lopunnite Zeraoara, as it otherwise may leave itself prone to revenge killing if used against threats that can dent it. Rephrase this sentence, meaning is unclear.
* It must also be wary of common Red Orb users such as Victini and Volcorona, as they can switch in against a predicted Aqua Tail and regain the offensive momentum that Gliscor may have garnered previously. awk phrasing, not wrong tho.

Team Options
========

* Partners that appreciate Gliscor's ability to check most Fire-types such as Magearna, Buzzwole, and Kartana can be useful as they can capitalize on Gliscor's ability in covering threats such as Primal Groudon and Entei.
* Checks to Water-types are necessary due to Gliscor's extreme weakness to them especially under the heavy rain, where partners such as Toxapex, Arceus-Dragon alongside Red Orb users like Victini and Raikou are all good picks. GP issues
* Entry hazard setters such as Primal Groudon, Mew, and Blissey provide Gliscor the much appreciated entry hazard chip damage which wears down threats such as Zapdos, support Arceus formes, and Pinsirite Zygarde. Again, GP issues, also sr blisey isn't worth mentioning (mew probs isn't either but I could be persuaded).
* Additional wallbreakers like Tapu Lele, Lunala, and Terrakion may be added on Gliscor's team to apply additional offensive pressure against walls such as support Arceus formes, Manectite Mew, and Toxapex, aiding Gliscor in potentially pulling off a sweep. how do they do that.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

* A Bulky Swords Dance set with a Salamencite equipped permits Gliscor to fire off powerful Aerilate boosted attacks, allowing it to break through even the most sturdiest of walls such as Arceus-Ghost and Toxapex. Although, this set usually gets outclassed by Landorus-T due to its better offensive power.
* Taunt may be run alongside Toxic on Venusaurite sets as a means to turn Gliscor into a potent stallbreaker, deterring most passive threats from doing much against it as they are worn down by poison damage. However, this set gets blocked by common Magic Bounce users such as Blissey and Mew, lowering its effectiveness overall. Taunt + toxic is not a set
* Sablenite may be run on defensive sets as well, enabling Gliscor to deter the use of entry hazards and status moves against it leaving it less prone to moves such as Taunt and Toxic. However, there are generally better users of the stone such as Blissey and Buzzwole and the forfeiting of Thick Fat through the Venusaurite is also less favorable. Mention how this set checks terrakion thanks to taunt immuen and rocks bouncing

Checks and Counters
===================

**Ice-type Coverage**: Ice-type coverage which is commonly run on threats such as Mew, Magearna, Lunala, and Buzzwole can all threaten Gliscor even when factoring the damage reduction from Thick Fat, forcing Gliscor to be careful coming in against these threats. Ice punch buzzwole is uncommon, bad, and unable to break venu glisc. Don't mention this.

**Flying-types**: Most Flying-types like Zapdos, Pinsirite Zygarde, and Landorus-T can come in on Earthquake and threaten to dent Gliscor with their offensive attacks or use it as setup fodder. Although, Gliscor can still cripple the aforementioned threats through Toxic or pivot out against them by utilizing U-turn. Also aqua tail on that set

**Specially Offensive Walbreakers**: Powerful attackers such as Tapu Lele, Xerneas, Magearna, and Darkrai can all severly dent Gliscor with their coverage attacks even if Glsicor chooses to invest in its specially defensive bulk. However, they all fear being dented by Earthquake. Magearna is not a check or a counter to Gliscor

**Status**: Toxic and Will-O-Wisp off of threats such as Primal Groudon, Blissey, and Mew can severely cripple Gliscor, hampering its sustainability alongside its ability to dent Fire-types with Earthquake for the remainder of the match if it lacks cleric support.

[OVERVIEW]

* A good defensive typing and great physical bulk lets Gliscor seal itself as a versatile pick that can be placed on a variety of teams that need a reliable defensive pivot.
* Its Ground / Flying typing alongside the use of Mega Stones such as a Venusaurite grants it a sole weakness to Water-type moves and resistances and immunities to common offensive types such as Ice technically even with thick fat glisc has an ice type weakness, Fighting, Fire, Electric, and Ground. This in conjunction with Gliscor's great physical bulk upon Mega Evolution enables it in checking a plethora of top metagame threats such as Primal Groudon, Entei, Victini, and Terrakion.
* Gliscor can also manage to turn itself into a potent setup sweeper through its Blue Orb set, breaking through most walls after a single boost while still managing to check dangerous threats such as Primal Groudon and Victini.
* Being able to run utility options such as Stealth Rock, Defog, Roost, U-turn, Toxic, and Swords Dance allows Gliscor to perform multiple roles depending on what its team desires, turning it into quite a customizable threat.
* However, a weakness to Ice- and Water-type moves lets Gliscor be threatened by certain opposing Pokemon such as Ice Beam Mew and Keldeo. This is further problematic as Gliscor still possesses a rather low Special Defense stat even after Mega Evolving, meaning special attackers can still manage to break through it even after the defense boosts. Blue Orb also unfortunately only enhances its weakness to Water-type moves as well, leaving it more prone to these type of attackers.
* Gliscor may also struggle to fit all its move options in one moveset given how it usually does not have the space to run all the utility options it wants in one set. It also faces some slight competition as an offensive threat from Landorus-T, given how the former threat can provide more immediate power while still possessing the means to run sets including both Stealth Rock and Swords Dance.

* U-turn is a great coverage option which grants Gliscor the ability to provide useful momentum to its team, enabling it to pivot out against the threats that are brought in to check it.

* Defog is a great utility move that removes all entry hazards on the field, providing Gliscor's team crucial support as a result.

Change the wording of this, it’s really the other way around (this spread helps check pdon and raikou while still being able to check Terrak -side note kart sets up on glisc pretty well so id remove that all together)
* A fully specially defensively invested EV spread with a Careful nature can be considered as well, better taking on hits from the likes of offensive Primal Groudon and Cameruptite Magearna as a result.

A good defensive typing and great physical bulk lets Gliscor seal itself as a versatile pick that can be placed on a variety of teams that need a reliable defensive pivot. Its Ground / Flying typing alongside the use of Mega Stones such as a Venusaurite grants it a sole weakness to Water-type moves Technically thick fat only removes 4x weakness to ice so Gliscor is still weak to that as well and resistances and immunities to common offensive types such as Fighting, Fire, Electric, and Ground. This in conjunction with Gliscor's great physical bulk upon Mega Evolution enables it in checking a plethora of top metagame threats such as Primal Groudon, Entei, Victini, and Terrakion. Gliscor can also manage to turn itself into a potent setup sweeper through its Blue Orb set, breaking through most walls after a single boost while still managing to check dangerous threats such as Primal Groudon and Victini. You aren't wrong about it being able to check these mons. However, I have never seen a single sd blue orb Gliscor much less a blue orb Gliscor at all in recent history. I'm sorry to put this forward after QC 2/3, but i'm going to suggest entirely replacing blue orb Gliscor with Altarianite. That is a far better utilization of offensive Gliscor as sd blue orb Gliscor cannot break any kind of bulk up buzzwole, struggles horribly vs Mandibuzz, etc. I feel blue orb is irrelevant at this point. Being able to run utility options such as Stealth Rock, Defog, Roost, U-turn, Toxic, and Swords Dance allows Gliscor to perform multiple roles depending on what its team desires, turning it into quite a customizable threat. However, a weakness to Ice- and Water-type moves lets Gliscor be threatened by certain opposing Pokemon such as Ice Beam Mew and Keldeo. I'd say put Primal Kyogre or Goliscopod over Keldeo as Keldeo isn't used right now unless your name is Highlord.This is further problematic as Gliscor still possesses a rather low Special Defense stat even after Mega Evolving, meaning special attackers can still manage to break through it even after the defense boosts. Blue Orb also unfortunately only enhances its weakness to Water-type moves as well, leaving it more prone to these type of attackers. I feel this is more than just slight competition. If we're referring to an offensive ground Lando-T outright outclasses Gliscor in pretty much every aspect.

Try to keep Gliscor's health relatively high, as it should not pivot in against certain threats such as Lucarionite Zygarde, Terrakion ,and Kartana since they may potentially overwhelm it if its HP is left low. There seems to be a slight disconnect here as you specifically mentioned it checking Terrakion and Kartana earlier. I think it might be worth mentioning somewhere that while Gliscor can check Terrakion this is only if it is at full and that it can almost never come in on Terrakion. If carrying Toxic or Stealth Rock, be mindful of common Magic Bounce users such as Blissey, Mew, and Hippowdon which can all bounce back the utility moves against Gliscor and leave it in a disadvantageous position.

These are special walls but none of them do a very good walling Darkrai. The previously mentioned Magearna would do a better job with that. Blissey can also provide cleric support while Jirachi can take the role as a Stealth Rock setter. Nitpicky but the mention of Jirachi is a bit random i'm a bit confused why it's here.

Set Details
========

It's also nice that it doesn't risk getting crippled by Ho-oh and Entei sacred fire burn.Hyper Cutter is given as a base ability in the rare case that Gliscor faces opposing Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Manectite Mew, where it can avoid the drop in Attack.

Usage Tips
========

========

Other Options
=============

A Bulky Swords Dance set with a Salamencite equipped permits Gliscor to fire off powerful Aerilate boosted attacks, allowing it to break through even the most sturdiest of walls such as Arceus-Ghost and Toxapex. Once again, putting forward altarianite Gliscor it absolutely needs to be on this section at the very least but I feel it should be a main set and blue orb moved to here.

===================

There's still quite a bit to fix here. I'm on the fence about whether this needs a big rework or a fresh start. If you're confident you can rework this properly and include altarianite at this stage of the analysis then go for it. I'd strongly suggest asking for at least one additional check after you rework this to make sure it's as good of an analysis as Gliscor can have right now. If you can do that, QC 3/3.

Oops ye was gonna go over this post Lando meta as I remember discussion going on on what should be set order. Should I emphasize Altarianite before sets like Venusaurite or should keep as is?
No, this set order is fine, they're still comparable viability; pdon checks with defog and pivot are still very valuable, obv.

Banned deucer.
Tbh deciding to drop this, not onlky have I not used Glisc in a while but I still feel it kinda has a weird place in a meta absent with Lando-T and abundant of many other viable options. Id rather focus on writing on more consistent pokes :blobshrug:.
