Moves
========

Stealth Rock lets Gliscor punish opposing switch-ins with chip damage. Earthquake is Gliscor's most reliable STAB move, letting it hit foes like Mega Manectric, Cobalion, and Tentacruel for super effective damage and common switch-ins such as Swampert, Suicune, Kommo-o, Starmie, and Scizor for neutral damage. Roost is mandatory, as it allows Gliscor to remain healthy and get multiple opportunities to set Stealth Rock throughout the match. U-turn allows Gliscor to punish common switch-ins, such as Latias and Celebi, by chipping them and safely bringing in frailer teammates. Toxic improves Gliscor's matchup against Flying-types and Levitate users, such as Moltres, Hydreigon, and Latias, by heavily pressuring them. Furthermore, in combination with Roost, Gliscor is able to Toxic stall Defoggers such as Mantine and Togekiss and ensure that its Stealth Rock stays up. Taunt, alternatively, allows Gliscor to shut down slower passive Pokemon such as Alomomola, Blissey, and Klefki. Acrobatics OHKOes Heracross which otherwise beats Gliscor; it also allows Gliscor to take advantage of common Knock Off users because it generally doesn't mind having its Toxic Orb removed once it is activated, potentially turning Acrobatics into a 110-Base Power move that allows Gliscor to deal more consistent damage to Ground-immune Pokemon, such as Latias and Hydreigon. However, Gliscor can't always afford the moveslot for it, and the other options are generally more consistent.

Set Details
========

252 HP EVs let Gliscor restore as much HP from Poison Heal as possible while maximizing its overall bulk. 60 Speed EVs allow Gliscor to outspeed key threats such as Primarina and Scizor. 196 Special Defense EVs make Gliscor as specially bulky as possible, allowing it to take on passive special attackers, such as Tentacruel and Mantine. This also lets Gliscor avoid the OHKO from Mega Manectric's Hidden Power Ice and retaliate with a STAB Earthquake. Alternatively, 188 Speed EVs allow Gliscor to outspeed key threats such as Volcanion, Chandelure, and Nidoking and hit them first. However, the decrease in bulk is noticeable, and Gliscor prefers to be as bulky as possible. Once activated, Toxic Orb, in combination with Poison Heal, lets Gliscor heal 1/8 of its maximum HP each turn, be immune to other status ailments, and not mind taking a Knock Off.

Usage Tips
========

It is best to use Gliscor early-game to set up Stealth Rock and activate its Toxic Orb. If Toxic Orb has yet to be activated, do not switch in Gliscor on potential Knock Off users, such as Krookodile and Mega Beedrill, and foes that can potentially afflict Gliscor with status conditions other than poison, such as Swampert and Mantine. Once Toxic Orb has been activated, Gliscor can utilize its unique typing and great bulk to switch into threats such as Krookodile and Mega Beedrill. Hence, it is best to make good use of Roost and Poison Heal to keep Gliscor as healthy as possible throughout the match. U-turn is best used early-game, as it lets Gliscor chip common switch-ins such as Serperior and Hydreigon. Because Gliscor doesn't run much Speed investment, its U-turn is mostly going to be a slow one, meaning it can bring in frailer teammates safely. In addition, U-turn allows Gliscor to generate momentum on a predicted switch from an opposing check or Flying-type. Toxic, if run, lets Gliscor not only pressure common switch-ins, such as Mantine and Latias, but also beat Defog Moltres, which relies on PP stalling Gliscor's Stealth Rock via Pressure to beat it. Use Taunt against slower bulky Pokemon such as Quagsire and Alomomola that rely on recovery to beat Gliscor. It can also be used against certain opposing entry hazard setters, such as Mega Aggron and Klefki, and against certain Defog users, such as Moltres and Scizor. Ice-type coverage on Pokemon that Gliscor may attempt to check, such as Mega Manectric, Raikou, and Latias, should be scouted for, as Gliscor will be lured in and severely weakened by them otherwise.

Team Options
========

Wallbreakers such as Starmie and Hydreigon not only enjoy Gliscor bringing them in on a safe U-turn but also appreciate the Stealth Rock support it provides. Setup sweepers, such as Scizor and Latias, appreciate Gliscor setting up Stealth Rock for them. Pokemon such as Mega Aggron, Scizor, Sylveon, and Alomomola that can take on Ice- and Water-type Pokemon are really appreciated by Gliscor. Tentacruel deserves a special mention because not only it can set up Toxic Spikes, which can cripple common switch-ins to Gliscor such as Swampert and Serperior, but it can also remove entry hazards efficiently in synergy with Gliscor, as it can spin away hazards from Gliscor's side while not removing Gliscor's Stealth Rock from the opposing side. Pivots such as Scizor and Mega Manectric appreciate Gliscor's Stealth Rock support, and they can bring in Gliscor safely to get its Toxic Orb activated via either a slow U-turn or a Volt Switch on a forced switch. Fairy-types, such as Mega Altaria and Sylveon, can take on Dragon-type Defoggers such as Latias and Hydreigon that Gliscor fails to break past and that can reliably beat it. Ghost-types, such as Doublade, Chandelure, and Gengar, not only block opposing Rapid Spin users such as Tsareena and Tentacruel from removing Gliscor's Stealth Rock, but also appreciate the Stealth Rock support to either sweep or wallbreak.

hey, amcheck here

nature: Jolly
evs: 244 HP / 76 SpD / 188 Spe
I would recommend a slower spread of 252 HP / 196 SpD / 60 Spe just to creep Timid Primarina, as opposed to tying with it as per 56 Speed spread. Spoke with Eyan about the HP EVs, as Poison Heal numbers are only relevant for SubToxic sets. A Careful nature with more Special Defense guarantees Gliscor to survive HP Ice after Stealth Rock 252 SpA Manectric-Mega Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 196+ SpD Gliscor: 248-296 (70 - 83.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

U-turn allows Gliscor to not only punish common switch-ins, such as Latias and Seismitoad, by chipping them and safely bringing in frailer teammates.
U-turn doesn't punish Seismitoad that much; Toxic would punish it more so I would remove that example. You can mention Grass-types like Serperior and Celebi that may come in on Earthquake here.

Toxic improves Gliscor matchup against Defog users, such as Mantine and Moltres, by heavily pressuring them
Toxic also eases its matchup against Flying-types and Levitate users in general, as it is able to Toxic stall most of them out with Roost, ensuring Stealth Rock stays up.

Acrobatics allows Gliscor to OHKO Fighting-types, such as Heracross and Breloom that otherwise beat it. However, Gliscor can't always afford the moveslot for it and the other options are generally more consistent.
Mention that Acrobatics can take advantage of the common Knock Off; once its item has been removed, t becomes a stronger STAB move than Earthquake and can threaten a lot more Pokemon. In addition, I wouldn't generalize Fighting-types as a whole here, as the only ones that are OHKOed by it are the two you mentioned.

  • 244 HP EVs hit a Poison Heal number and lets Gliscor restores as much HP from it as possible.
  • 188 Speed EVs allows Gliscor to outspeed key threats such as Entei, Chandelure, and Nidoking and hit them first.
  • The remaining EVs were dumped into Special Defense to increase Gliscor's chance of taking a Hidden Power Ice from Mega Manectric from full.
  • Once activated, Toxic Orb, in combination with Poison Heal, lets Gliscor heal a 1/8 of its health each turn, be immune to other status ailments and not mind tanking a Knock Off.
  • An alternative EV spread of 244 HP / 208 SpD / 56 Spe allows Gliscor to tank Special hits better while still outspeeding other, slower key threats such as Breloom, Volcanion, and Primarina, although Gliscor generally prefers to outspeed Nidoking and Entei more.
Fix this section where appropriate to follow the new EV spread. Put the old one in a section much like the bottom point, talking about how Gliscor can run 188 Speed to outspeed Nidoking and Entei, but the increase in bulk is more valuable to it.

If Toxic Orb has yet to be activated, prioritize bringing in Gliscor via a slow U-turn or Volt Switch in order for it to be activated and do not switch in Gliscor on potential Knock Off users, such as Krookodile and Mega Beedrill, and on potential status ailment dealers that isn't Poison, such Swampert and Seismitoad.
U-turn or Volt Switch momentum isn't the only way to bring Gliscor in; due to its bulk, it can switch into Pokemon that don't carry those moves. I would remove the first part of this section and keep what it shuldn't come in on.

U-turn is best used early game, as it lets Gliscor chip common switch-ins, such as Starmie and Hydreigon, and bring in frailer teammates safely.
U-turn is also useful on a predicted switch to either a check or a Flying-type so it can gain momentum. When talking about frailer teammates, mention that it's a slow U-turn, especially now with decreased Speed.

Ice-type coverage on Pokemon that Gliscor may attempt to check, such as Mega Manectric, Raikou, Latias, and Mega Altaria should be scouted for, as Gliscor will be lured and OHKO'd by them.
With the Special Defense, it is not OHKOed by Raikou or Mega Manectric's Hidden Power Ice, so you can say it severely weakens Gliscor.

Pokemon that can take on Ice-type Pokemon, such as Mega Aggron, Scizor, and Alomomola, are really appreciated by Gliscor. Tentacruel deserves a Special mention because it can set up Toxic Spikes which cripple common switch-ins to Gliscor, such as Swampert and Serperior.
Considering the only relevant Ice-type in the tier is Kyurem, you could expand this section to talk about Water-type checks as well.Offensive Water-types like Primarina and Starmie threaten Gliscor a lot. When talking about Tentacruel, mention Rapid Spin too; it removes opposing hazards but not Gliscor's or its own.

[8:57 AM] Kink: Kyurem may be the only relevant ice type
[8:58 AM] Kink: but toonnnnns of things carry ice beam
[8:58 AM] Kink: I know that we're in the mindset of pokemon counter pokemon, not moves counter pokemon, so what she's really looking for is Strong SpAtters w/ a special mention for pokemon like Latias and Nidoking that can take Gliscor out.
[8:58 AM] Kink: otherwise it looks good. re-review your suggestions and using the same mindset I laid out see if you can offer anything better; for example, that U-turn suggestion, instead of Seismitoad we can add Hydreigon, but for the most part it looks alright.

Set/Moves
* Maybe it's just me but I think the Stealth Rock line could use a little more substance, so just add something like 'by punishing them with chip damage' to the end of the sentence you have, really not a big deal.
* I feel like there are better examples of things hit neutrally by Earthquake than some of what you had listed, especially Slowbro considering that it can recover off any damage Gliscor does to it with its attacks. I think Scizor, Kommo-o, and Starmie are all better examples here just because they're more adequately worn down.

Set Details
* I really wouldn't argue that the Special Defense investment greatly aids Gliscor in taking on special attackers that aren't passive or HP Ice Manectric. Due to this, I'd specify it can strengthen the matchup against passive special attackers instead of saying it helps versus stuff like Chandelure and Gengar (both have common methods of 2HKOing Gliscor even with this investment), and in addition to doing that change your examples to Tentacruel and Mantine, which Gliscor can notably avoid getting 2HKOed by with Scald with the investment.
* Replace your Entei example with Volcanion.

Usage Tips
* Change your Seismitoad example to Mantine, as Seismitoad is less relevant anyway and is also beginning to more frequently run offensive sets that power through Gliscor easily.
* Starmie isn't a Gliscor switch-in, it has a solid chance of getting 2HKOed by Earthquake. Change that example to Serperior instead.
* I'd remove Mega Altaria as an example of a Pokemon that runs Ice-type coverage, as it doesn't do this nearly as much as the other examples.

Team Options looks good, so once all of this is implemented give yourself 2/3. Nice work, most of this check was relatively nitpicky.

Just one really tiny comment, in the line:

"It is best to use Gliscor to set up Stealth Rock early game."

Add something at the end of this line that notes that you also activate Toxic Orb early at the same time, so like:

"... to set up Stealth Rock early game, simultaneously activating Toxic Orb."

This way, Acrobatic Acrobatics can potentially turn into a 110BP 110-Base Power move that allows Gliscor to deal more consistent damage to Ground-immunes Ground-immune Pokemon, such as Latias and Hydreigon, and even OHKO Fighting-types, (RC) such as Heracross and Breloom that otherwise beat it. (This is more of a QC thing but the way this is phrased right now, it looks like only 110 bp acro ohkoes hera and loom. However, 55 bp acro still ohkoes these foes. Consider making this more clear by moving these examples to the previous sentence?) However, Gliscor can't always afford the moveslot for it, (AC) and the other options are generally more consistent.
