[OVERVIEW]

Once the bane of ORAS OU, the Shadow Tag ban doomed Gothitelle to being unviable in even PU. Now that it is unable to trap its foe, it is unlikely to get a good opportunity to set up, which means it has trouble getting past the tier's Dark-types like Skuntank. In addition, its only decent bulk paired up with its subpar Special Attack make it outclassed by a multitude of other Psychic-types, like Mesprit and Musharna.

Gothitelle attempts to be a Calm Mind wallbreaker with decent coverage, but it fails to carve out a niche due to its poor stats. The only reason to use Gothitelle over Mesprit or even Musharna would be its Competitive ability, but it's not enough to make Gothitelle viable, and the aforementioned duo are objectively better choices for Psychic-types.

It's access to Calm Mind and Trick once made it a top-tier threat, (im fine with mentioning the shadow tag ban, but otherwise a lotta this is p irrelevant in PU)but now that it is unable to trap its foe it doesn't get the opportunity to set up anymore, which means it has no ways of getting past the tiers Dark-types like Skuntank, and its poor bulk (its bulk is actually decent)paired up with its sub-par Special Attack make it outclassed by a multitude of other Psychic-types, like Mesprit and Musharna.

It's wrong one reeeeeee access to Calm Mind and Trick once made it a top-tier threat no they didn't. shadow tag did. i would just remove this aside, it doesnt even make sense within the overview, but now that it is unable to trap its foe it doesn't get the opportunity to set up anymore i mean it's still running setup though, which means it has no ways of getting past the tiers but this one does need an apostrophe Dark-types like Skuntank then why is it running colbur and HP ground?, and its only decent bulk paired up with its sub-par Special Attack make it outclassed by a multitude of other Psychic-types, like Mesprit and Musharna.

the overview looks fine but if you actually read it, it makes no sense. the points that it loses to darks and is totally outclassed and can't run shadow tag are all good, but the filler in-between really needs some improvement
