[OVERVIEW]

With it's blisteringly fast speed and a deadly STAB combo, Sneasel carves a place for itself in ZU as a powerful wallbreaker and cleaner. STAB Knock Off makes it excellent at forcing progress, especially since the primary Knock Off absorber, Dipplin, fears Sneasel's Ice attacks, and it outruns many already fast threats like Charizard, Mismagius, and Grafaiai. However, Sneasel's paper-thin defenses means it crumples to most strong neutral attacks, and combined with its many weaknesses gives it near no defensive utillity outside of switching into Psychic-type attacks. Sneasel also can be left wanting in power and struggles to break past walls like Regirock and Orthworm. Choice Band sets don't have this problem, but arw vulnerable to entry hazards and are very prediction reliant. Lastly, Sneasel is incredibly vulnurable to revenge killing from most Choice Scarf users in the tier, like Passimian, Grafaiai and Typhlosion, as well as priority attacks such as Accelerock from Lycanroc.

Sneasel @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Tera Type: Ice / Ghost
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Triple Axel
- Ice Shard
- Swords Dance / Low Kick

[SET COMMENTS]
Sneasel's high speed and deadly STAB combination makes it a great breaker and cleaner in ZU. Ice Shard lets Sneasel pick off weakened foes and faster attackers like Whimsicott and Jolteon, as well as dance around priority like Accelerock from Lycanroc and Mach Punch from Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Swords Dance lets Sneasel boost its Attack, letting it pick up OHKOs on Charizard and Cramorant, giving it an easier time cleaning up weakened teams, while Low Kick lets Sneasel threaten Orthworm, Regirock, and Glastrier more immediately. Heavy-Duty Boots lets Sneasel come in without taking damage from entry hazards. Tera Ice boosts Triple Axel and Ice Shard's power immensely, netting a 2HKO on Regirock and Weezing at +2, but does nothing to help Sneasel's terrible defensive typing. Tera Ghost flips Sneasel's Fighting-type weakness around, letting it blank Close Combats from revenge killers like Choice Scarf Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel, but it also makes Sneasel weak to Sucker Punch from Brute Bonnet and Hisuian Decidueye.

Sneasel's powerful Knock Off forcefully removes Heavy-Duty Boots, which makes it an excellent pick on entry hazard stacking teams, where teammates such as Qwilfish, Hisuian Qwilfish and Orthworm help Sneasel push past bulkier foes like Magneton and Dudunsparce. Sneasel struggles to break past physically bulky foes like Regirock, Orthworm and Weezing, so teammates that take advantage of these checks like Charizard, Mesprit, and Hisuian Decidueye respectively can team up to wear down said walls. Poliwrath notably blanks Sneasels 's STAB attacks, so teammates that handle it like Whimsicott and Shaymin are quite helpful. Physical Wallbreakers like Choice Band Floatzel, Brute Bonnet, and Lycanroc also assist in wearing walls down and assisting Sneasel in sweeping. Fighting-types like Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel threaten Sneasel immensely with their Fighting-type attacks, so defensive fallbacks like Weezing and Palossand make for great teammates. Other defensive teammates such as Dudunsparce, Cramorant, and Hisuian Decidueye help make up for Sneasel's lack of defenses, dealing with threats like Whimsicott, Typhlosion, and Floatzel for it. As Sneasel struggles to switch in directly, pivots like Jolteon, Passimian, Whimsicott, and Lanturn are all helpful in assisting Sneasel hit the field. On more offensive teams, it can pair up with other setup sweepers like Oricorio-G, Lycanroc and Qwilfish to overwhelm the opposing team.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Sneasel's 4x weakness to Fighting means it greatly fears Fighting-types like Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel. Most of them don't enjoy switching in on Sneasel's attacks however. Poliwrath resists Sneasels STABs and doesn't take much damage from low kick.

**Choice Scarf Users**: Sneasel's lack of bulk means that Choice Scarf users have an easy time outspeeding it and taking it out. All of Floatzel, Grafaiai, Passimian, Mesprit and more can revenge kill Sneasel with ease.

**Physical Walls**: Physically bulky Pokemon like Regirock, Orthworm and Weezing don't fear much from Sneasel, and can force it out with status conditions or super effective attacks. However, since all three of them lack reliable recovery and the former two hate losing Leftovers, Sneasel can slowly wear them down over a longer game. Avalugg and Glastrier also can take Sneasel on, but hate losing their Heavy-duty Boots. Snorlax can take a Knock Off well enough, but doesnt appreciate losing its Leftovers. These three also must be wary of Low Kick, especially from Choice Band sets.

However, Sneasel's paper-thin defenses means it crumples to any (most, any isnt necessarily accurate) strong neutral attacks, and combined with its many weaknesses gives it near no defensive utillity besides switching into Psychic-type attacks. Sneasel also can be left wanting in power and struggles to break past walls like Regirock and Orthworm. Lastly, Sneasel is incredibly vulnurable to revenge killing from every (change to most or majority, since like rotom cannot) Choice Scarfer in the tier, like Passimian, Grafaiai and Typhlosion, as well as priority attacks like Aqua Jet from Qwilfish and Floatzel (jet doesnt even do half of sneasels health, maybe just mention other fast attackers like jolt) and Accelerock from Lycanroc. (mention a brief summary in like 1 sentence of the role its CB and fast attacker set perform)

start off this sentence by recapping how sneasels great tools like knock off + ice stab into dipplin, being really fast, etc makes it a great breaker/cleaner in the tier, then start with how access to ice shard lets it get past faster opponents if it can SD or weaken those checks. Ice Shard lets Sneasel pick off weakened foes (the main goal of shard is to threaten scarfers and faster attackers, mention one or 2 of them like whimsi, lycan, etc), as well as dance around Sucker Punch from Hisuian Decidueye and Brute Bonnet. Swords Dance lets Sneasel boost its Attack, giving it an easier time cleaning up weakened teams (mention that it allows sneasel to OHKO something that it wouldnt without being at +2). Low Kick lets Sneasel hit Orthworm and Regirock much harder. Heavy-Duty Boots lets Sneasel come in without taking damage from entry hazards. Tera Ice boosts Triple Axel and Ice Shard's power immensely, but does nothing to help Sneasel's terrible defensive typing (does it help hit ranges?). Tera Ghost flips Sneasel's Fighting-type weakness around, letting it blank Close Combats from revenge killers like Choice Scarf Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel, but it also makes Sneasel weak to Sucker Punch from Brute Bonnet and Passimian.

Sneasel struggles to break past physically bulky foes like Regirock, Orthworm and Weezing, so teammates that share these checks like Charizard, Mesprit, and Hisuian Decidueye respectively can team up to wear down said walls. Other defensive teammates such as Dudunsparce, Cramorant, and Hisuian Decidueye help make up for Sneasel's lack of defenses (what are they specifically helping switch into for it?). As Sneasel struggles to switch in directly, pivots like Jolteon, Passimian, Whimsicott, and Lanturn are all helpful in assisting Sneasel hit the field. On more offensive teams, it can pair up with other setup sweepers like Oricorio-G, Lycanroc and Qwilfish to overwhelm the opposing team. mention teammates that help with poliwhirl, snorlax and avalugg-hisui since they blank sneasel, though the ladder 2 have to fear low kick

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

where is OO? even if it has no other options you still write the section then just say "Sneasel has no other options"

Checks and Counters

**Fighting-types**: Sneasel's 4x weakness to Fighting means it greatly fears Fighting-types like Passimian, Hisuian Sneasel and Hitmonlee. Howevee none of these Pokemon enjoy switching in on Triple Axel or Knock Off (lee is never taking on sneasel since triple axel just ohkoes it, use poli instead).

**Choice Scarf Users**: Sneasel's lack of bulk means that Choice Scarf users have an easy time outspeeding it and taking it out. All of Floatsel, Grafaiai, Passimian, Mesprit and more can revenge kill Sneasel with ease.

**Physical Walls**: Physically bulky Pokemon like Regirock, Orthworm and Weezing don't fear much from Sneasel, and can force it out with status conditions or super effective attacks. However, since all three of them lack reliable recovery and the former two hate losing Leftovers, Sneasel can slowly wear them down over a longer game. lax, glast, and havalugg should be mentioned in some capacity, but they dont like losing items either and fear banded low kick like regi and orth do

Sneasel struggles to break past physically bulky foes like Regirock, Orthworm and Weezing, so teammates that take advantage of these checks like Charizard, Mesprit, and Hisuian Decidueye respectively can team up to wear down said walls.
For this part, 'respectively' is fine to keep in if the lists are changed to match up. Respectively basically means that item 1 in list 1 (Regirock) matches up with item 1 in lsit 2 (Charizard) and doesn't apply to any of the other items. Charizard can't take advantage of Regirock so this doesn't work (which is why the amcheck removed it), but I assume Hisuian Decidueye can. If the lists are reordered so the teammates are in the same order as the Pokemon that they check, you can add respectively back in and put commas around it so it's clear that the lists line up.

Sneasel's powerful Knock Off forcefully removes Heavy-Duty Boots, which makes it an excellent pick on entry hazard stacking teams (RC) where teammates such as Qwilfish, Hisuian Qwilfish, (AC) and Orthworm help Sneasel push past bulkier foes like Magneton and Dudunsparce. Sneasel struggles to break past physically bulky foes like Regirock, Orthworm, (AC) and Weezing, so teammates that take advantage of these checks like Charizard, Mesprit, and Hisuian Decidueye respectively (see comment at the bottom of this post - too long for a check) can team up to wear down said walls. Poliwrath notably blanks Sneasels 's takes little damage from Sneasel's STAB attacks, so teammates that handle it like Whimsicott and Shaymin are quite helpful. Physical wallbreakers like Choice Band Floatzel, Brute Bonnet, and Lycanroc also assist help in wearing wear walls down and assisting Sneasel in sweeping sweep. Fighting-types like Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel threaten Sneasel immensely with their Fighting-type attacks (redundant), so defensive fallbacks like Weezing and Palossand make for great teammates. Other defensive teammates such as Dudunsparce, Cramorant, and Hisuian Decidueye help make up for Sneasel's lack of defenses, dealing with threats like Whimsicott, Typhlosion, and Floatzel for it. As Sneasel struggles to switch in directly, pivots like Jolteon, Passimian, Whimsicott, and Lanturn are all helpful in assisting Sneasel to hit the field safely. On more offensive teams, it can pair up with other setup sweepers like Oricorio-G, Lycanroc, (AC) and Qwilfish to overwhelm the opposing team.

Sneasel has no other options. (AP)

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fighting-types**: Sneasel's 4x weakness to Fighting means it (redundant) greatly fears Fighting-types like Passimian and Hisuian Sneasel. Most of them don't enjoy switching in on Sneasel's attacks, (AC) however (RP), (AC) though Poliwrath resists Sneasels STABs Sneasel's STAB moves and doesn't take much damage from Low Kick.

**Choice Scarf Users**: Sneasel's lack of bulk means that Choice Scarf users have an easy time outspeeding it and taking it out. All of Floatzel, Grafaiai, Passimian, and Mesprit and more can revenge kill Sneasel with ease.

**Physical Walls**: Physically bulky Pokemon like Regirock, Orthworm, (AC) and Weezing don't fear much from Sneasel (RC) and can force it out with status conditions or super effective attacks. However, since all three of them lack reliable recovery, (AC) and the former two hate losing Leftovers, Sneasel can slowly wear them down over a longer game. Avalugg and Glastrier also can take Sneasel on (RC) but hate losing their Heavy-Duty Boots. Snorlax can take a Knock Off well enough (RC) but doesnt doesn't appreciate losing its Leftovers either. These three which three? it seems like all of them except for weezing can be mentioned here; perhaps "All of these except for Weezing" would be better also must be wary of Low Kick, especially from Choice Band sets.

If the lists are reordered so the teammates are in the same order as the Pokemon that they check, you can add respectively back in and put commas around it so it's clear that the lists line up.
in regards to the respectively part, i was more so meaning that these mons share a check with sneasel, so you can use both to overload said check, ie zard wisping regirock to weaken it into sneasel range

that might need a bigger rewording then because saying charizard takes advantage of something it’s 4x weak to won’t really be clear to a new reader
