[SET COMMENTS]
Tidy Up Groudon is an excellent mix of offensive and defensive utility, making great use of Tidy Up's Attack and Speed boosts to exploit the lack of Ground-resistant Pokemon and threaten them with Precipice Blades. Tidy Up is preferred over Victory Dance thanks to its ability to clear entry hazards and Substitute, as well as Victory Dance sets being easily PP stalled. Knock Off and Glare punish Imposter users and common switch-ins like Dondozo. Strength Sap provides higher instant recovery than Recover but cannot reliably recover Good as Gold and Magic Bounce users in the long-term. Fur Coat and Ice Scales provide great defensive utility and allow Groudon to check a wide variety of attackers, such as Zacian-C, Miraidon, and Ursaluna. A Jolly nature allows Groudon to outspeed Zacian-C after a boost. Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots provide longevity and make it more reliable as an entry hazard remover, but Covert Cloak is useful to help against Scald users and confusion from Zacian-C's Magical Torque. Groudon fits on a wide variety of balance and offensive teams who appreciate it keeping entry hazards under control, and teammates like Arceus-Electric or Zacian-C are good for their ability to pressure Groudon switch-ins like Dondozo and Giratina. Groudon does not appreciate offensive Water-types such as Palkia-O or Palafin, so allies that can switch in on these like Kyogre are recommended. Tera Water is used to resist V-create from Zacian-C without being weak to Ground-type attacks like an Imposter user's Precipice Blades.
