[SET COMMENTS]

Hawlucha has a very useful set of tools for 1v1 including Encore, Bulk Up, and Reversal. Reversal's incredible power when at 1 HP, especially when combined with Liechi Berry's attack boost, allows Hawlucha to OHKO many threats such as Haxorus, Arcanine, Mandibuzz, Urshifu, and Dracovish. Endure allows Hawlucha to reliably get to 1 HP, which will maximize Reversal's power and activate Liechi Berry. Encore and Bulk Up are the bread and butter of this set. Bulk Up allows Hawlucha to increase its attack and defense, which makes it a perfect opening move against foes that can't OHKO Hawlucha such as Mandibuzz, Arcanine, Choice Band Haxorus, and Rillaboom. Encore is incredibly useful vs any opponent that doesn't use a move that OHKOs or 2HKOs Hawlucha such as Arcanine's Will-o-Wisp, Mandibuzz's Iron Defense, any opposing Substitutes or other setup moves. When locking a foe into a status move with Encore, make sure to use Bulk Up to maximize attack and defense, and keep using Encore whenever it wears off. Endure plus Encore is a very potent combo against Choice Scarf Trick users such as Rotom-Heat and Porygon-Z. Endure's priority allows Hawlucha to select a new move after being Tricked a Choice Scarf, allowing you to use Encore and trap them into using Trick. Unburden allows Hawlucha to double its speed after activating it's Liechi Berry, which is useful against Choice Scarf users such as Rotom-Heat and Porygon-Z, as well as faster foes such as Choice Band Zeraora. 8 HP and 60 Defense EVs allow Hawlucha to survive a Choice Band Haxorus Outrage after using Bulk Up. 212 Speed EVs allow Hawlucha to outspeed Timid Hydreigon.

Encore Hawlucha struggles to defeat Pokemon that resist or are immune to Reversal such as Slowbro, Dragapult, and Primarina. Because of this, teammates such as Chandelure, Sylveon, and Zeraora make good teammates. In return, Hawlucha can defeat Pokemon such as Urshifu, Porygon-Z, and Snorlax for them. Kasib Berry or Choice Scarf Chandelure makes an especially good teammate for Hawlucha, as it can beat many Ghost-, Psychic-, Poison-, and Grass-types for Hawlucha, and Hawlucha can dispose of Ground-, Rock-, and Dark-types for Chandelure.

[SET COMMENTS]

Hawlucha boasts a very useful type combination for the 1v1 metagame in Fighting and Flying. This allows it to easily beat foes such as both Urshifu Forms, Chansey, Choice Specs Porygon-Z, and Kommo-o. The ability Mold Breaker is very useful as it allows Hawlucha to OHKO some Pokemon with the Ability Sturdy such as Sawk, Togedemaru, and Magnezone, as well as ignore Rotom-H’s Levitate with Dig. High Jump Kick is used over Close Combat to secure the OHKO on Chansey and to avoid the drop to Hawlucha’s Defense. Brave Bird is Hawlucha’s strongest Flying-type move besides Sky Attack. Fire Punch is useful for Scizor and Chople Berry Ferrothorn. Poison Jab OHKOs Whimsicott, and Dig OHKOs Rotom-H. 8 HP and 60 Def allows Hawlucha to beat survive Outrage from Swords Dance Haxorus and 2HKO. 212 Speed EVs allow Hawlucha to outspeed Timid Hydreigon. The rest of the EVs are put into attack with an Adamant nature to maximize damage.

Choice Band Hawlucha struggles with many Ghost- and Fairy-type Pokemon such as Dragapult, Galarian Corsola, Primarina, and Sylveon. Because of this, Dark- and Poison-types such as Urshifu-Single and Venusaur make good partners for Hawlucha, in return, Hawlucha can beat many Fighting- and Ground-types such as Sawk and Excadrill. Choice Band Hawlucha also struggles against bulkier Pokemon that it can't OHKO such as Arcanine and Mandibuzz, so Setup Attackers such as Lum Berry Shell Smash Crustle and Nasty Plot Porygon-Z. These types of Pokemon typically struggle with Fighting-types such as Urshifu and Sawk, which Hawlucha easily disposes of.

Reversal's incredible power when at 1 HP, especially when combined with Liechi Berry's attack boost, allows Hawlucha to OHKO many threats such as Haxorus, Arcanine, Mandibuzz, Urshifu, and Dracovish. (are these all unboosted? ik fat arc for one doesn't die to +0 burned bc intim so clarify if any of these require boosts or not) Endure allows Hawlucha to reliably get to 1 HP, which will maximize Reversal's power and activate Liechi Berry. Encore and Bulk Up are the bread and butter of this set. (fluff that doesn't add anything) Bulk Up allows Hawlucha to increase its attack and defense, which (no need to say what bulk up does) makes it a perfect opening move against foes that can't OHKO Hawlucha such as Mandibuzz, Arcanine, Choice Band Haxorus, and Rillaboom. Encore is incredibly useful vs any opponent that doesn't use a move that OHKOs or 2HKOs Hawlucha such as Arcanine's Will-o-Wisp, Mandibuzz's Iron Defense, any opposing Substitutes or other setup moves. (all these examples are status moves; are there any damaging moves you'd encore? if not specify you'd lock into status and f there are give some examples) When locking a foe into a status move with Encore, make sure to use Bulk Up to maximize attack and defense, and keep using Encore whenever it wears off. (this is kinda weirdly explained because it desn't really say how you encore and force it to trick back to allow you to click reserval. if they're locked nto trick you'll also be stuck at 100% hp so its 20 bp so not really sure how reliable this is) - reorder your moves for this section to reflect the order of the set, with encore mentioned first, bulk up mentioned second etc or change the order of moves on the set to reflect what you've written Unburden allows Hawlucha to double its speed after activating it's Liechi Berry, which is useful against Choice Scarf users such as Rotom-Heat and Porygon-Z, as well as faster foes such as Choice Band Zeraora. 8 HP and 60 Defense EVs allow Hawlucha to survive a Choice Band Haxorus Outrage after using Bulk Up. 212 Speed EVs allow Hawlucha to outspeed Timid Hydreigon.

Urshifu-S is the dark one and Urshifu-R is the water one and you need to specify throughout. i'll highlight all others), Porygon-Z, and Snorlax for them.
