[OVERVIEW]

Haxorus is a solid wallbreaker in UU thanks to its monstrous Attack, good Speed tier that lets it outspeed offensive threats like Krookodile, Gyarados, and Kommo-o, and powerful STAB Outrage to heavily damage common defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Buzzwole, and Amoonguss. Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat, and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Aegislash, Celesteela, and Primarina. Mold Breaker allows Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake and makes it difficult for opposing teams to switch into Haxorus. Its typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type Pokemon in the tier like Rotom-W, Tangrowth, and Moltres, although its mediocre defensive stats don't allow it to use its typing to its full potential. Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Salamence limit its viability, with both being able to function as wallbreakers and sweepers while also offering more defensive utility. Even though Haxorus is a powerful Pokemon, it is very prediction reliant and can be exploited if it is locked into the wrong move, like using Outrage on Fairy-types or Poison Jab on Steel-types like Celesteela. Its below average defensive stats and awkward Speed tier also leave it easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Nihilego, and Mienshao.

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Outrage
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Close Combat
move 4: Poison Jab
item: Choice Band
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]

Choice Band-boosted Outrage OHKOes Kommo-o and Rotom-W and 2HKOes Assault Vest Tangrowth, Moltres, and Quagsire. Earthquake nails Pokemon such as Aegislash, Jirachi, and Galarian Slowbro. Close Combat smacks defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela, as well as hitting Dark-types like Krookodile, Umbreon, and Zarude for super effective damage. Poison Jab hits Fairy- and Grass-types like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Togekiss. First Impression gives Haxorus a very powerful priority move to revenge kill foes like Starmie, Zarude, and Choice Scarf Krookodile; however, it's an inconsistent move and forces Haxorus to switch afterwards. Mold Breaker lets Haxorus damage Levitate users like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake and bypass Rhyperior's Solid Rock.

Haxorus can fit on offense teams thanks to its insane wallbreaking capabilities that benefit late-game cleaners like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Krookodile, and Azumarill. Entry hazard setters like Roserade, Krookodile, and Nihilego help Haxorus secure KOs like a guaranteed 2HKO on Celesteela. Sticky Web from Shuckle lets Haxorus outspeed and OHKO some of its common checks like Keldeo and Nihilego. Pivots like Rotom-W, Zarude and Mienshao safely bring in Haxorus. Haxorus dislikes Steel-types, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Aegislash due to its ability to scout Haxorus's moves and potentially decrease its damage output with King's Shield. Electric-types like Raikou and Rotom-W can help deal with those two as well as faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao. Steel-types like Aegislash and Jirachi threaten Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful Outrage; Jirachi can also safely bring in Haxorus with U-turn and check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

A Dragon Dance set helps Haxorus bypass faster checks like Nihilego and Mienshao; however, finding a turn for it to set up is difficult, and Haxorus is easily outclassed by Salamence due to the latter's better bulk and typing and access to Moxie. A Swords Dance set with Scale Shot is also viable, but the Defense drop from Scale Shot makes Haxorus much easier to pick off from priority attacks, the set is unreliable, and Haxorus rarely gets two turns to set up.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Steel types like Celesteela, Aegislash, and Jirachi can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into Poison Jab or Outrage and threaten it. Celesteela and Aegislash can use Protect and King's Shield to scout Haxorus's attacks, while Jirachi can outspeed it and take it down with Iron Head flinches. However, they all can be 2HKOed by one of Haxorus's coverage moves.

**Priority Users**: Priority users like Lycanroc-D, Diggersby, and Mamoswine can make Haxorus's sweep fall short, although they will be punished greatly if it has yet to take chip damage. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to KO with minimal chip.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types like Hatterene, Primarina, and Azumarill can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into Outrage to get a free switch and threaten it with a powerful STAB move, although they must be careful of Poison Jab. Togekiss in particular is a major threat thanks to its immunity to both Earthquake and Outrage, which gives it more opportunities to take advantage of Haxorus.

**Faster Checks**: Despite Haxorus's decent Speed tier, it is outpaced by common threats such as Nihilego, Keldeo, and Zarude as well as Choice Scarf users like Mienshao, Krookodile, and Gardevoir, with Gardevoir being noteworthy due to its immunity to Outrage. However, these Pokemon cannot safely switch in on Haxorus.

hi! here's a quick AM check :)

green text is comments, blue text is additions, and red strikethrough is removal! my edits are quite comment-heavy, apologies in advance!

[OVERVIEW]
  • Haxorus is a terrifying wallbreaker in UU, thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier and a powerful STAB Outrage. With two great setup options in Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, as well as the newly acquired Scale Shot, Haxorus can set up break through most teams after a boost. Mold Breaker needs to be mentioned in some capacity here.
  • It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire and Electric type Pokemon in the tier, letting it switch in on weaker Not Very Effective moves. if you're going to mention 3/4 of the resistances, you may as well mention grass too. otherwise, consider restructuring to something like "Although Haxorus's stats are weaker on the defensive side, its typing allows it to switch in on some of the common types it resists."
  • Decent coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Celesteela, Tapu Bulu and Primarina.
  • Though it faces competition from Salamence, Haxorus has it's own benefts that give an edge over it This doesn't really offer any information -- it just suggests that you'll be comparing the two later in the article, which you never do. Consider replacing with something like Although it faces competition from other Dragon-type sweepers like Salamence, Haxorus carves out its own niche with x, y, z. This could also fit more cleanly into the first bullet point.
[SET]

name: Set-up Sweeper
move 1: Dragon Dance
move 2: Outrage
move 3: Posion Jab
move 4: Close Combat / Earthquake
item: Life Orb / Lum Berry
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragon Dance is this set’s main boosting option, raising Haxorus’ Attack and Speed by a stage. raises Haxorus' Attack and Speed by a stage, This allows allowing it to not only hit harder, but also outspeed common revenge killers like Scarf Krookodile and Zeraora. Dragon Dance isn't this set's "main boosting option" --it's the only option, just skip right to what it does.
- Outrage is Haxorus’ main STAB, denting teams and OHKO’ing a great portion of the tier after a boost, Like Victini, Zeraora, Defensive Kommo-o and many more. Poison Jab lets you hit the Fairy and Grass types within the tier, like Tangrowth, Primarina and Tapu Bulu.
- 252 Attack and Speed EV’s are used to maximise speed and offensive potential, the remaining 4 EV's are thrown into Defense.
- A Life Orb can be used to gain even more power for better sweeping potential, while Lum Berry can save you from Outrage’s confusion or Scald burns. Not just scald burns -- also setting up on Rotom-H / mew / rachi / anything else that's trying to burn / paralyze. maybe make this more general -- something like "can save you from Outrage's confusion and allow you to set up on status-inflicting moves like wow and twave"
- Mold Breaker helps you hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, allowing you to break through more teams. The application of breaking through quag/pyuku is also very relevant and should be mentioned.
- Both Jolly and Adamant can be used, Jolly helps you outspeed every Pokemon in the tier, including some Scarfers like Krookodile whereas Adamant lets you maximise your sweeping potential. "Maximise your sweeping potential" could apply to both Jolly and Adamant -- better to just say plainly that it makes you hit harder.

  • Haxorus dislikes the Fairy and Steel types within the tier, notably Celesteela and Skarmory due to their Earthquake immunity. Electric types like Zeraora and Magnezone can help deal with those two, Where Magnezone can nearly guarantee the kill, Zeraora gives you great speed control outside of Haxorus post-boost. Scizor offers not only a way of getting through the Fairy types like Primarina, but valuable Priority in Bullet Punch. When did we start talking about Scizor? unclear to reader why bullet punch priority is relevant to Haxorus.
  • Haxorus, though having a useful defensive typing, doesn’t have the best defensive stats and shouldn’t be used as a wall. Slowking and Rotom-H can help both eat hits and provide a way in for Haxorus. Slowking is great, as it also has Future Sight to help Haxorus tear through teams. Rotom-H as a suggestion seems a little random here.
  • Entry Hazard support can help Haxorus greatly, so Krookodile and Skarmory are nice teammates to have. If used on a Hyper Offense team, Shuckle gives you both Sticky Web and Stealth Rocks. Similar to the Rotom-H example, I don't think selecting specific set-up mons is necessarily the best path here. Perhaps best to simplify to "Entry Hazards like Stealth Rocks, Spikes, and Sticky Web all help Haxorus sweep". If you want to point out specific examples, it's probably best to explain why they specifically fit with Haxorus.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • This set utilises both Swords Dance and Scale Shot to help bust through most Walls in the tier This is a strange comment -- scale shot doesn't really help you bust through walls, it helps you raise your speed to break offensive checks and counters. Considering restructuring like so: This set utilizes both Swords Dance and Scale Shot -- Swords Dance helps bust through most walls in the tier, and Scale Shot boosts Haxorus' speed to neuter the effectiveness of offensive checks.
  • Scale Shot gives you your Dragon STAB, as well as a good speed boost to help break through faster checks like Salamence, Play Rough Zeraora, Azelf, Alakazam and Scarf Krookodile.
  • Poison Jab helps you get through Tangrowth, one of the strongest defensive walls in the tier, where Earthquake paired with Mold Breaker lets you OHKO both Rotom forms after a Swords Dance. Earthquake also smashes Victini, Zeraora, Lycanroc-D, Nihilego and many more, where Posion Jab can OHKO Primarina, Tapu Bulu and Togekiss after a boost. Group the Poison Jab and Earthquake sections apart -- no need for poison jab to be mentioned again at the end, just place that with the Tangrowth phrase.
  • Close Combat gives you a way to put a massive dent through the steel types in the tier, especially the likes of Skarmory and the ability to OHKO Defensive Celesteela post-boost.

  • Haxorus really wants a safe way to get in and begin smashing teams apart, so Volt Switch users like Zeraora, Rotom-W, Rotom-H and Thundurus-Therian, U-turners like Scizor, Victini and Jirachi can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in.
  • Slowking is one of the best partners for it, giving it both an incredibly safe way of getting in and Future Sight support to help break through with additional damage.
  • This set loves Hazard Support, so the aforementioned Skarmory and Krookodile are great partners. If you're going to mention sticky web anywhere, it should probably be on the SD set, not the DD one. (or both!)
  • Cleaners in the tier appreciate Haxorus’ wall breaking ability, so Pokemon like Gyarados, Salamence, Krookodile, Zeraora and Azumarill benefit greatly.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options

=============

An All-out Attacker set has it’s benefits from being able to fit all the moves Haxorus wants, but it isn’t as effective as either set listed above. First Impression gives you a very powerful priority move to use on both faster checks and the Psychic and Dark types in the tier, but it isn’t a consistent form of priority and shouldn’t be used often. Over coverage options like Aqua Tail, Rock Slide and Psycho Cut are very niche, but they do have their own benefit. Should probably mention Band and Scarf here -- even if it's just to dissuade people.

Checks and Counters

===================

**Steel Types**: Most Steel types are able to take a hit from Haxorus, And Skarmory can brush of the Dragon Dance set completely, so make sure it’s out of the way before you start to sweep

**Priority Users**: Priority Users can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Mamoswine is able to guarantee the KO after 30% chip, so be wary. Rather than including a specific calc (which only applies to certain Mamo sets), say something like "Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which can kill with minimal chip", or something similar.

**Fairy Types** Fairy Types can switch in on Outrage and threaten Haxorus with a powerful STAB move, So Haxorus is either forced to break through confusion or switch out and lose it’s boost. Unless I'm more washed up than I think, this isn't quite how outrage works. If Haxorus clicks outrage for what would be the first turn of outrage and a fairy switches in, it does not become confused -- confusion only occurs if outrage would have ended that turn anyway.

**Faster Checks** Not many Pokemon are able to outpace Haxorus after a boost, but niche Pokemon like Chlorophyll Venusaur, Scolipede, as well as Barbaracle, Cloyster and Polteageist after a Shell Smash outrun it and threaten it back. Several problems with this section -- first, I wouldn't call Venusaur niche. Secondly, Scolipede isn't inherently faster than Haxorus. The shell smash section is a little problematic -- I know you're referring to them shell smashing while their sash breaks and revenge killing, but it's not clear to the reader and it also ignores the fact that one of the two sets you posted has Scale Shot to break through sashes. The relevant mons you should be citing in this section are Scarfers like Mence, Keldeo, Victini, Krook (if ada), etc.

- Dragon Dance raises Haxorus’ Attack and Speed by a stage, allowing it to not only hit harder, but also outspeed common revenge killers like Choice Scarf Krookodile and Zeraora.
-mention Close Combat and Earthquake and what they hit
- 252 Attack and Speed EV’s are used to maximize speed and offensive potential, the remaining 4 EV's are thrown into Defense.
- A Life Orb can be used to gain even more power for better sweeping potential, while Lum Berry can save you from Outrage’s confusion and other status moves like Thunder Wave and Will-o-Wisp (mention who uses these status moves, for example say Will-O-Wisp from Rotom-W, Thunder Wave from Jirachi, and mention Spore from Amoongus. Say how it can use the Lum berry to let it set up on them as well)
- Mold Breaker helps you hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as Unaware Pokemon like Pyukumuku and Quagsire.
-Mention the EV spread down here instead, the item explanation should come first
- Both Jolly and Adamant can be used, Jolly helps you outspeed every Pokemon in the tier, including some Choice Scarf users Scarfers like Krookodile (mention how this is after a Dragon Dance) whereas Adamant lets you hit even harder.

  • say that Haxorus fits on offensive teams due to the insane wallbreaking capabilites it has
  • Haxorus dislikes the Fairy and Steel types within the tier, notably Celesteela and Skarmory due to their Earthquake immunity. Electric types like Zeraora and Magnezone can help deal with those two, as the latter Where Magnezone can trap and remove steels like Skarmory and Celesteela while the former . nearly guarantee the kill, Zeraora gives you great speed control outside of Haxorus post-boost. Steel types like Scizor and Jirachi can hit the Fairies that Haxorus doesn't like, with Scizor also offering a great priority move in Bullet Punch (make the steel types a separate bullet point)
  • make this point about offensive pivots like zeraora, scizor, and Rotom-H here as well to bring it in safely
  • Haxorus appreciates having defensive pivots like Tangrowth, Amoongus, and Slowking being able to come on and take hits for it. though having a useful defensive typing, doesn’t have the best defensive stats and shouldn’t be used as a wall. Slowking, Tangrowth and Amoonguss can help eat hits it doesn't like too. Slowking in particular is a fantastic partner, as it also has Future Sight to help Haxorus tear through teams and Teleport to help get Haxorus in safely
  • mention screens setters like Grimmsnarl and Alolan Ninetales who can help Haxorus set up easier if Haxorus is run on hyper offense teams
  • Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks, Spikes and Toxic Spikes provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't (entry hazard support from what? List examples)

name: Swords Dance Wallbreaker

[SET COMMENTS]
  • This set utilizes both Swords Dance and Scale Shot -- Swords Dance helps bust through most walls in the tier, and Scale Shot boosts Haxorus' speed to neuter the effectiveness of offensive checks.
  • Scale Shot gives you your Dragon STAB, as well as a good speed boost to help outrun faster checks like Salamence, Play Rough Zeraora, Azelf, Alakazam and Choice Scarf Krookodile. Scale Shot also helps you deal with Focus Sash Users in Alakazam, Barbaracle and Polteageist (both these pokemon are pretty irrelevant in the tier right now, Barabaracle isn't even viable. Mention other sash users like azelf instead and make a point about how Scale Shot lets it break through sets like SubRoost Kyurem as well)
  • Poison Jab helps you get through Tangrowth, one of the strongest defensive walls in the tier, as well as Primarina, Tapu Bulu and Hatterene Togekiss after a boost. (the strongest defensive part feels extra and unnecessary, also change Togekiss to Hatterene since Togekiss sucks)
  • Earthquake paired with Mold Breaker lets you OHKO both Rotom-H and Rotom-W forms after a Swords Dance. (you OHKO both of them without a swords dance, with a 53% to KO Rotom-W from full) Earthquake also hits Pokemon like smashes Victini, Zeraora, Lycanroc-D, and Nihilego and many more. for super effective damage
  • Close Combat gives you a way to put a massive dent through the Steel-types in the tier, especially the likes like of Skarmory, Bisharp and the ability to OHKO Defensive Celesteela post-boost. Celesteela, which it can OHKO after a Swords Dance
  • mention the Nature and what you outspeed with Jolly, also bring up why Adamant is an option and explain which is the preferred nature

  • Haxorus appreciates pivot support from Pokemon like Zeraora, Rotom-H, Scizor, and Victini to help it get in safely as well as bring it in on Pokemon like... (give some examples of what Haxorus can set up on) really wants a safe way to get in and begin smashing teams apart, so Volt Switch users like Zeraora, Rotom-W, Rotom-H and Thundurus-Therian, U-turners like Scizor, Victini and Jirachi can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in.
    - the above point had way too many examples, just implement the one I wrote to add as it cuts the examples down significantly and is worded better
  • add something about Pokemon like Rotom-H and Magnezone being able to deal with steels like Celesteela and Skarmory
  • add examples of Pokemon that can pressure Fairy-types for it, you can mention things like Jirachi, Scizor, and magnezone here.
  • Slowking is one of the best partners for it, giving it both an incredibly safe way of getting in with Teleport and provides Future Sight support to help break through with additional damage.
  • This set loves entry Hazard Support, so the aforementioned Skarmory and Krookodile are great partners. This Haxorus set benefits greatly from Sticky Web, so Shuckle and Ribombee also make for good partners. (bit confused about sticky web, since its STAB attack already boosts its speed you wouldn’t really need webs? Up to you if you want to keep it but i don't think it really fits too much)
  • Cleaners in the tier appreciate Haxorus’ wall breaking ability, so Pokemon like Gyarados, Salamence, Krookodile, Zeraora and Azumarill benefit greatly. (I don't really consider krookodile a cleaner like the others, plus you have enough examples already, so just cut it)

Choice Band and Choice Scarf can both be used for immediate power and speed control, though it isn't advised. (mention how Haxorus doesn't want to be locked into any of its moves)
add a point about iron tail for more power against things for fairies like Hatterene, but poison jab hits it nearly as hard and accuracy is better

Checks and Counters

===================

**Steel-types Types**: Most Steel types are able to take a hit from Haxorus, And Skarmory can brush of the Dragon Dance set completely thanks to Roost, so make sure it’s out of the way before you start to sweep bit of fluff, better to cut it out

I wouldn't say most, since bisharp hates CC and Jirachi nor bulky scizor doesn't like to switch in, just mention how Celesteela and Skarmory are able to wall it, especially if it drops Close Combat, those 2 are enough imo

**Priority Users**: Priority Users can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip. reword to say that they can pick off weakened Haxorus variants, also specify what priority users, mamoswine is one but what about scizor, lycanroc-D, or bisharp? Also, make sure to say they can do this easily if Haxorus is running scale shot due to its lower defense stat.

**Fairy-types Types** Fairy Types can switch in on Outrage and threaten Haxorus with a powerful STAB move (mention what fairy types)

**Faster Checks** Not many Pokemon are able to outpace Haxorus after a boost, but some Scarfers in the tier like Victini, Keldeo, Krookodile and Salamence are able to revenge kill Haxorus.

Hey there Codename! Hope all is well. Going to be conducting another AM check here, you've got some good stuff but there are other stuff I feel you can change to make it better prepared for the official QC check. Also, whenever referring to types it should be like this: Electric-types, with there being a hyphen between them and the type itself being capitalized. Add Remove Comment

Just going to quickly jump in here because we've decided we want you to only give Haxorus a DD set. Move SD to oo. Monky we will still look over that section you went over in this AM check and someone (martha) will give feedback

this isn't qc 1/3 yet, implement this and let me know when you're done so i can take another look. to make it easier and so you don't miss anything, click the reply button and make the edits from there then copy and paste your updated analysis into the original post.
while it isn't ready fro gp at all, i would try to proofread it too with some notes
- It should be Dragon-type, Fairy-type etc not Fairy Type or Fairy-Type
- Don't refer to Pokemon as "you" so instead fo saying "You can run Poison Jab" you would say "Haxorus can run Poison Jab"
- Forme names should be truncated, so Rotom-W, Rotom-H, Lycanroc-D etc not Rotom-Wash, Rotom-Heat, or Lycanroc-Dusk
- It's means it is, while its means belongs to it.

[OVERVIEW]
  • Haxorus is a terrifying wallbreaker in UU, though it faces competition from other Dragon-type Sweepers like Kommo-o and Salamence, limiting it's splashability. (expand on what those sweepers offer that haxorus doesn't such as moxie / better defensive typing / more bulk etc) It's able to carve it's own niche despite it's tough competition thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier and a powerful STAB Outrage. (when talking about the speed tier, mention what that actually lets haxorus outspeed. also give examples of what's hit by outrage etc. when you're writing an analysis, you need to include meta relevant examples for every point so the points are useful in relation to uu and not just vague "it leanrs outrage" because that can just be looked up; analyses want to provide a resource for what the pokemon does in the current uu metagame) With two great setup options in Swords Dance and Dragon Dance, as well as the newly acquired Scale Shot and a great ability in Mold Breaker, Haxorus can set up break through most teams after a boost. (the sd set isn't on here anymore so you don't need this)
  • It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass type Pokemon in the tier, letting it switch in on weaker Not Very Effective moves. (give some examples of what it can switch into)
  • Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Celesteela, Tapu Bulu, Primarina and Tangrowth.
  • Though Haxorus is a devastatingly poweful Pokemon, it can struggle to break through Skarmory and Celesteela without a boost and it's below average defensive stats make it easily revenge killed, on top of the fact that whatever it doesn't OHKO is going to deal major damage to it in return. (in the last point, you said cc beats steela but here you say it struggle to break it so change the example in the above point or reword this one)

for the overview, you want all positive points first then all negative ones. so restructre this (using the comments i made above) to follow this order as separate bullet points
- point about how it's a good wallbreaker with high attack and speed + strong stab and add coverage mention here too
- point about dd + mold breaker allowing it to boost past unaware and also mess up rotoms
- point about resistances
- point about competition from other dragon types
- point about how it struggles to break skarm / steela
- point abot below average defenses

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragon Dance raises Haxorus’ Attack and Speed by a stage, allowing it to outspeed common revenge killers like Scarf Krookodile and Zeraora. (you don't need to say what dragon dance actually does, and you just need to relate it to what haorus does in uu so something like "dragn dance allows haxorus to outspeed revenge killers such as choice scarf krookodile and zeraora" makes it relevant to the meta)
- Outrage is Haxorus’ main STAB, denting teams and OHKO’ing a great portion of the tier after a boost. (this is self explanatory stab so doesn't need to be listed here)
- Poison Jab lets you hit the Fairy and Grass types within the tier, like Tangrowth, Primarina and Tapu Bulu.
- Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to the plentiful Electric, Rock and Fire types in the tier, such as Zeraora, Victini, Rotom-Heat, Rotom-Wash, Nihilego and Lycanroc-Dusk.
- Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks Defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela and Skarmory
- A Life Orb can be used to gain even more power for better sweeping potential, while Lum Berry can save you from Outrage’s confusion. It also protects you from other status moves like Thunder Wave from Jirachi, Spore from Amoonguss and Will-o-Wisp from Rotom-Heat and Rotom-Wash, allowing you to set-up on them (here you talk about lum way too much when it's the second slash so less preferred, so expand on what life orb's power boost lets it break)
- 252 Attack and Speed EV’s are used to maximize speed and offensive potential. (self explanatory 252/252 spread so doesn't need to be here)
- Mold Breaker helps you hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as Unaware Pokemon like Pyukumuku and Quagsire with your Attack boost
- Both Jolly and Adamant can be used, Jolly helps you outspeed every Pokemon in the tier, including some Choice Scarf users like Krookodile after a Dragon Dance, whereas Adamant lets you hit even harder. (mention what you lose out on speed wise with adamant too)

  • Haxorus can fit on many Offensive teams (mention hyper offemse too) thanks to it's insane wallbreaking capabilities, so Cleaners like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Salamence, Krookodile, Zeraora and Azumarill benefit greatly.
  • Haxorus dislikes the Fairy and Steel types within the tier, notably Celesteela and Skarmory due to their Earthquake immunity. Electric-types like Zeraora and Magnezone can help deal with those two, where the latter can trap the Steel-types and remove them while the former gives you great speed control outside of Haxorus post-boost.
  • Steel types like Scizor and Jirachi can hit the Fairies that Haxorus doesn't like, with Scizor also offering a great priority move in Bullet Punch
  • Haxorus appreciates having defensive pivots to rely on taking hits for it, so Slowking, Tangrowth and Amoonguss make for good partners. Slowking in particular is a fantastic partner, as it also has Future Sight to help Haxorus tear through teams and Teleport to help get Haxorus in safely (i'd remove this point because haxorus fits better on more offensive/ho builds and these aren't the best fits on those. offensive pivots do better with haxorus)
  • Grimmsnarl and Alolan-Ninetales can set up Screens, allowing it to set up a Dragon Dance easier, letting it fit on Hyper Offense teams.
  • Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks, Spikes and Toxic Spikes provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't. This makes Hazard Setters like Shuckle, Ribombee, Krookodile and Tentacruel brilliant partners (move screens + hazards to the top of this paragraph then put cleaners after because on the teams haoxurs fits on, these are the most important)

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

An All-out Attacker set has it’s benefits from being able to fit all the moves Haxorus wants, but it isn’t as effective as either set listed above. A Swords Dance set is also viable, but the Defense drop that comes from Scale Shot makes Haxorus that much easier to pick off. (more because scale shot is unreliable + haxorus doesn't get 2 setup turns ever) First Impression gives you a very powerful priority move to use on both faster checks and the Psychic and Dark types in the tier, but it isn’t a consistent form of priority and shouldn’t be used often. Iron Tail can help hit Fairy-types harder, but it's inaccuracy makes it not as good as Poison Jab. Other coverage options like Aqua Tail, Rock Slide and Psycho Cut are very niche, but they do have their own benefit. Choice Band and Choice Scarf can both be used for immediate power and speed control, though it isn't advised as Haxorus likes to have the freedom of switching it's moves.

- other options should also be in bullet points before qc 1/3
- the only stuff worth keeping here is sd scale shot, first impression, and band because the rest is way too niche

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-Types**: Most Steel types are able to take a hit from Haxorus, And Skarmory can brush of the Dragon Dance set completely thanks to Roost.

**Priority-Users**: Priority Users like Bisharp, Lycanroc-Dusk, Scizor and Mamoswine can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip.

**Fairy-Types** Fairy Types like Hatterene, Tapu Bulu and Azumarill can switch in on Outrage and threaten Haxorus with a powerful STAB move

**Faster Checks** Not many Pokemon are able to outpace Haxorus after a boost, but some Scarfers in the tier like Victini, Keldeo, Krookodile and Salamence are able to revenge kill Haxorus.

You still need to change some of the instances of Lycanroc-Dusk to Lycanroc-D and Rotom-Wash and Rotom-Heat to Rotom-W and Rotom-H. I left them in bold so you can fix them yourself
:SS/Haxorus:

[OVERVIEW]
  • Haxorus is a terrifying wallbreaker in UU, thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier letting it out speed common threats like Krookodile, Gyarados, Moltres-G and Kommo-o, as well as a powerful STAB Outrage hitting common defensive Pokemon like Milotic, Salamence and Amoonguss for big damage. Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Hatterene, Tapu Bulu, Primarina and Tangrowth. (There are no examples in this list of what EQ or CC hit. Replace a couple of the Poison Jab targets for mons that CC and EQ actually hit like Aegi and the aforementioned Krook. I’d remove Tangrowth because Outrage actually does more damage to it than Poison Jab)
  • With a great setup options in Dragon Dance and a excellent ability in Mold Breaker, Haxorus can set up break through most teams (This is pretty generous considering many teams are packing a Scizor that can revenge kill) after a boost, with Mold Breaker allowing Haxorus to hit Unaware Pokemon with your boost and Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake
  • It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type Pokemon in the tier, letting it switch in on weaker Not Very Effective moves such as Rotom-H and Rotom-W's Volt Switch, Amoongus and Tangrowth's Giga Drain and Keldeo's Flip Turn (This entire point needs a bit of reworking IMO. I wouldn’t try to justify Haxorus’s resistances making it an offensive pivot because those sorts of sequences where the opponent goes into a faster mon via volt or flip to threaten out Haxorus only makes it worse at being worn down by hazards. Something better to explain is that it can make use of those resistances to set up on those mons AFTER a teammate has gone down or came in by momentum support. Tangrowth and the Rotom formes are still okay examples, especially with Lum after they’ve been worn down. I just wouldn’t try to set up on an Amoonguss that’s probably gonna click Foul Play or on Keldeo unless it’s choice locked into Hydro.)
  • Despite Haxorus' many pluses, it faces competition from other Dragon-type Sweepers like Kommo-o and Salamence, limiting it's splashability. Where Salamence offers Moxie and a better typing and Kommo-o giving more bulk,
  • Though Haxorus is a devastatingly powerful Pokemon, it can struggle to break through Buzzwole and Celesteela without a boost and it's below average defensive stats make it easily revenge killed (Mention some examples like keldeo unboosted and Choice Scarf Mienshao after a boost)
(Some things to note about Haxorus is that it can have very limited opportunities to set up safely against offensive teams. Another thing is that since it cannot run all of its coverage moves at once there will always be something Haxorus falls short on breaking which can mean a halted sweep in games.)

[SET COMMENTS]
- Dragon Dance allows Haxorus to outspeed common revenge killers like Scarf Krookodile and Noivern (Find some examples of plus 1 attacks reaching important OHKOs, like a guaranteed kill on 132 DEF Sylveon with Life Orb boosted PJab)
- Poison Jab lets Haxorus hit the Fairy and Grass-types within the tier, like Tangrowth (Outrage does more than Poison Jab to Tang and Zarude, but you can say Poison Jab is a more reliable move against them) Primarina and Tapu Bulu.
- Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to the plentiful Electric, Rock and Fire-types in the tier, targets such as Raikou, Chandelure, Rotom-Heat, Rotom-Wash, Nihilego and Lycanroc-Dusk. (There are too much unnecessary bulk, I would cut out some of the examples)
- Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks Defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela. (It also smacks Krook and Zarude)
- A Life Orb can be used to gain even more power for better sweeping potential, allowing Haxorus to break through Pokemon it normally wouldn't like Amoonguss and Scizor, as well as being able to 2HKO Defensive Celesteela with Close Combat. Lum Berry can save Haxorus from Outrage’s confusion. - Grimmsnarl and Alolan-Ninetales can set up Screens, allowing it to set up a Dragon Dance easier, letting it fit on Hyper Offense teams.
  • Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks, Spikes and Toxic Spikes provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't. This makes Hazard Setters like Shuckle, Ribombee, Krookodile and Tentacruel (Cruel doesn’t really fit on the aggressive teams Haxorus finds itself on. If you really want Toxic Spikes on offense, mention Lead Scolipede instead ) brilliant partners
  • Haxorus can fit on many Offensive and Hyper Offense teams thanks to its insane wallbreaking capabilities, so Cleaners like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Salamence, Krookodile, Thundurus-I and Azumarill benefit greatly.
  • Haxorus really wants a safe way to get in and begin smashing teams apart, so Volt Switch users like Raikou, Rotom-W, Rotom-H and Thundurus-Therian, U-turners like Scizor, Zarude and Jirachi can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in.

(add just an example or two like finishing off Agility Boosted Galarian Moltres or getting the jump on scarf Krook)
Checks and Counters

===================

**Steel-types**: Most Steel types and Buzzwole are able to take a hit from Haxorus, And can brush of the Dragon Dance set completely thanks to Roost. (Either separate this into a section dedicated to more physically bulky mons or take it out. This also needs more information about how the steels threaten Hax, Aegi can deal a good chunk with Shadow and finish it with sneak for starters)

**Priority-Users**: Priority Users like Lycanroc-Dusk, Scizor and Mamoswine can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip.

**Faster Checks** Not many Pokemon are able to outpace Haxorus after a boost, but some Scarfers in the tier like Keldeo, Krookodile (This only really applies to Adamant which is more rare) and Salamence (Scarf Mence is pretty gimmicky, I would mention Mienshao instead if we’re talking scarfers that outspeed Haxorus) are able to revenge kill Haxorus.

Heya Magnum, was reading through the analysis and I thought I'd help a friend out by giving it another AM check, since there is a fair amount of stuff that needs fixing. You should know the color scheme by now with what to add, remove, and my comments. Also you should polish up your grammar on this, it makes things a bit easier on GP and there isn't much harm adding it now. Hope you enjoyed my suggestions, and have a great day.

Codename Magnum sup mane QC has decided that the set is gonna be changed one more time because DD hax has a lot of competition from mence atm. CB is gonna be the new set bc it actually can be a functional wallbreaker thanks to the insane power it has as well as its decent coverage. the set is gonna be this:

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Outrage
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Close Combat
move 4: Poison Jab
item: Choice Band
ability: Mold Breaker
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

feel free to pm me or a qc member if you have any questions. this is the second time you've been asked to change the set which is definitely tedious, we'd all be happy if you got this done but it's completely understandable if you want to drop this, thanks for your work so far whatever you decide

OVERVIEW]
  • Haxorus is a terrifying wallbreaker in UU the Underused tier, thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier which lets it outspeed offensive threats like Krookodile, Gyarados, Galarian Moltres and Kommo-o, as well as a powerful STAB Outrage hitting common defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Salamence and Amoonguss for big damage. Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Hatterene, Tapu Bulu, Primarina and Aegislash.
  • With the additional power of a Choice Band and an excellent ability in Mold Breaker, Haxorus can tear through bulky offense, stall, and balance teams, with Mold Breaker allowing Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake.
  • It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type Pokemon in the tier like Rotom-W, Tangrowth and Moltres, letting it make use of those resistances to get in and start putting major holes in teams.
  • Despite Haxorus' many pluses, it faces competition from other Dragon-types Sweepers like Kommo-o and Salamence, limiting it's splashability. Where Salamence is offers a better sweeper with Moxie and has a better defensive typing and the ability to freely run Dragon Dance, and with while Kommo-o being able to run defensive sets as well as (the defensive set for clanger got nuked so not worth mentioning) having more versatility in its offensive sets.
  • Though Haxorus is a devastatingly powerful Pokemon, it can struggle to break through Buzzwole and Celesteela even with it's insane power boost from a Choice Band and it's below average defensive stats make it easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc, Nihilego and Mienshao. (reword this point to be about Haxorus being prediction reliant, with it being taken advantage of if locked into the wrong move. Give examples of this. Then follow up with how its poor defensive stats and exploitable speed tier lets it get revenge killed easily)
  • Since it cannot run all of its coverage moves at once there will always be something Haxorus falls short on breaking through, even with it's insane Attack stat. (not really it hits basically everything)

[SET]

Name: Choice Band
Move 1: Outrage
Move 2: Earthquake
Move 3: Close Combat
Move 4: Poison Jab
Item: Choice Band
Ability: Mold Breaker
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Outrage is Haxorus' main STAB move, providing a nuclear attack in conjunction with Choice Band, that is able to heavily dent opposing Pokemon. (like what? Give some examples of OHKOs and 2HKOs it achieves)
  • Poison Jab lets Haxorus hit the Fairy and Grass-types within the tier, like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Tapu Bulu. (move this point after close combat to fit the move order)
  • Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to Electric, Rock and Fire-types, such as Raikou, Chandelure, Rotom-W and Lycanroc-D (I'd like some more relevant examples listed here, Pokemon like Aegislash, Galarian Slowbro, and Scizor should be mentioned here over those examples you listed, especially since lycan and raikou outspeed and deal heavy damage) while also being great neutral coverage. (for? Give some examples of it being great neutral coverage).
  • Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks Defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela, as well as being able to hit Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude for super-effective damage.
  • add a point about First Impression, you can just take what you said from the OO and put it here
  • Mold Breaker helps Haxorus hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as being able to hit through Rhyperior's Solid Rock
  • Jolly is used to fully utilise Haxorus' Speed stat, being able to outspeed a fair amount of the unboosted metagame. (like? Give examples of Pokemon it would not outspeed without Jolly)

  • Haxorus can fit on Offense and Hyper Offense teams thanks to its insane wallbreaking capabilities, so late-game Cleaners like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Salamence, Krookodile, Thundurus-I and Azumarill benefit greatly. too many examples, I removed a few since you aren't running mence on a haxorus team and you mention Thundurus-I later
  • Grimmsnarl and Alolan-Ninetales can set up Screens, allowing it to set up a Dragon Dance easier, letting it fit on Hyper Offense teams. (screens are dead, plus it isn't a setup sweeper)
  • Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks and Spikes and Toxic Spikes (t spikes is uncommon and bad in nihilego/glowbro land so its not worth mentioning) provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't such as a guaranteed KO against Calm Mind Slowbro-Galar and a guaranteed 2HKO on Celesteela. This makes Hazard Setters like Shuckle, Ribombee, Mew, Krookodile and Nihilego brilliant partners.
  • talk about webs here since you brought up ribombee and shuckle as partners, mention how webs like it outspeed and KO its faster threats (be sure to give examples of the faster threats).
  • Haxorus appreciates getting in safely so that it can begin smashing teams apart, so pivots like Rotom-W, Scizor, and Zarude Volt Switch users like Raikou, Rotom-W, Rotom-H and Thundurus-Therian and U-turn support from the likes of Scizor, Zarude and Jirachi can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in.
  • Haxorus dislikes the Steel-types within the tier, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Scizor due to it's ability to reliably revenge kill it. Electric-types like Raikou and both Thundurus-I and Thundurus-T (thundy-t can't deal with keld and shao due to getting outsped so its being cut) can help deal with those two, as well as being able to deal with faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao when unboosted.
  • Steel-types like Scizor and Jirachi can hit Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful STAB Outrage that Haxorus struggles with, also having the ability to bring in Haxorus safely with U-turn and also can help check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options

=============
  • A Dragon Dance set can be ran to help Haxorus bypass faster checks like Nihilego, letting it not only boost it's Attack but also it's Speed, however finding a turn for it to set up is difficult and is easily outclassed by Salamence due to it's access to better bulk, typing and Moxie
  • A Swords Dance set with Scale Shot is also viable, but the Defense drop that comes from Scale Shot makes Haxorus much easier to pick off from priority attacks on top of it being unreliable and the rarity of Haxous getting two turns to set-up.
  • talk about Choice Scarf
  • First Impression gives Haxorus a very powerful priority move to use, but it isn’t a consistent form of priority which shouldn’t be used often, though it has merit in being able to finish of weakened threats and get the jump on common Scarfers like Zarude and Krookodile. Another thing to note is that First Impression only works on the first turn Haxorus is in, meaning that with Haxorus locked into the move it is forced to switch out. (this is now a mention on the banded set)

Checks and Counters

===================
**Steel-types**: Steel types like Celesteela and Jirachi are able to take a hit from Haxorus and others like Aegislash and Scizor can deal a massive chunk to it and revenge kill with priority (specify that Jirachi and Aegislash can take advantage of Haxorus locked into Poison Jab or Outrage but take massive damage from Earthquake. Make your sentences flow better too its easier to check)

**Priority-Users**: Priority Users like Lycanroc-D, Scizor and Mamoswine can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip.

**Fairy-types** Fairy-types like Hatterene, Primarina and Azumarill can switch in on Outrage and threaten Haxorus with a powerful STAB move. (this part needs some rewording, because by switching in they reset Outrage and Haxorus just kills with Poison Jab or switches out. Instead talk about how they can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into Outrage by coming in on a free switch and OHKOing it. don't forget to mention how they must be wary of Poison Jab)

**Faster Checks** Despite Haxorus' decent speed tier, it is outpaced by common threats within the tier such as Nihilego, Keldeo and Lycanroc-D. However, these Pokemon cannot switch in safely on Haxorus.

**Buzzwole** Physically Defensive Buzzwole is a fantastic check to Haxorus, being able to reliably shrug off even the damage of an Outrage and Roost back up. (buzzwole gets 2HKOd by outrage with rocks up so its getting cut)

  • Despite Haxorus' many pluses, it faces competition from other Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Salamence, limiting it's splashability. Salamence is a better sweeper with Moxie and has a better defensive typing while Kommo-o having more versatility in its offensive sets.
  • Even though Haxorus is a devastatingly powerful Pokemon, it is very prediction reliant as it may lock itself into the wrong move and be exploited, like using Outrage on opposing Fairy-types or Poison Jab on Steel-types like Celesteela, and it's below average defensive stats and awkward speed tier let it be easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc, Nihilego and Mienshao.

  • Outrage is Haxorus' main STAB move, providing a nuclear attack in conjunction with Choice Band, that is able to heavily dent opposing Pokemon such as OHKO-ing Kommo-o and Rotom-W and being able to 2HKO Assault Vest Tangrowth and Moltres.
  • Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to nail Pokemon Electric, Rock, Steel, Poison and Fire-types such as Aegislash, Scizor, Rhyperior, and Slowbro-Galar and while also being great neutral coverage for many Pokemon in the tier like Scizor, Krookodile, and Mew and Primarina.
  • Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks Defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela, as well as being able to hit Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude for super-effective damage.
  • Poison Jab lets Haxorus hit the Fairy and Grass-types within the tier, like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Tapu Bulu.

Another thing to note is that First Impression only works on the first turn Haxorus is in, meaning that with Haxorus locked into the move it is forced to switch out (reword this a bit to shorten it. Say how first impression lets Haxorus OHKO faster threats like Starmie, Zarude, and Choice Scarf Krookodile, then follow up by saying it's inconsistency and forcing Haxorus to switch about after using it can make it less desriable)
  • Mold Breaker helps Haxorus hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as being able to hit through Rhyperior's Solid Rock
  • Jolly is used to fully utilize Haxorus' Speed stat, being able to outspeed a fair amount of the unboosted metagame like Moltres and Krookodile.

  • Haxorus can fit on Offense and Hyper Offense teams thanks to its insane wallbreaking capabilities, so late-game Cleaners like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Krookodile, and Azumarill benefit greatly.
  • Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks and Spikes provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't such as a guaranteed KO against Calm Mind Slowbro-Galar Galarian Slowbro and a guaranteed 2HKO on Celesteela. This makes Hazard Setters like Mew, Krookodile and Nihilego brilliant partners.
  • Ribombee and Shuckle are able to set up a Sticky Web for Haxorus, allowing it to outspeed the entirety of the metagame outside of Pokemon with the Levitate ability and Flying-types (talk about how it can now outspeed and KO pokemon that usually revenge kill it like keldeo and nihilego here)
  • Haxorus appreciates getting in safely so that it can begin smashing teams apart, so pivots like Rotom-W, Scizor, and Zarude can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in.
  • Haxorus dislikes the Steel-types within the tier, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Scizor due to it's ability to reliably revenge kill it. Electric-types like Raikou and Thundurus-I can help deal with those two, as well as being able to deal with faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao
  • Steel-types like Scizor and Jirachi can hit Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful STAB Outrage also having the ability to bring in Haxorus safely with U-turn and also can help check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options

=============
  • A Dragon Dance set can be ran to help Haxorus bypass faster checks like Nihilego and Mienshao, however finding a turn for it to set up is difficult and is easily outclassed by Salamence due to it's access to better bulk, typing and Moxie.
  • A Swords Dance set with Scale Shot is also viable, but the Defense drop that comes from Scale Shot makes Haxorus much easier to pick off from priority attacks on top of it being unreliable and the rarity of Haxous getting two turns to set-up.
  • A Choice Scarf set can also be run, which is able to outspeed the entire outboosted metagame and even some common Choice Scarf users like ??? you seem to have not finished this part lol. Give examples of pokemon who commonly revenge kill it Haxorus can outspeed, both scarfed (krookodile) and non scarfed (noivern, lycanroc-D, etc).

Checks and Counters

===================
**Steel-types**: Steel types like Celesteela, Aegislash, Scizor and Jirachi are able to take a hit from Haxorus can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into moves like Poison Jab or Outrage and threaten it. • With the additional power of a Choice Band and an excellent ability in Mold Breaker, Haxorus can tear through bulky offense, stall, and balance teams, I'd word this sentence better, start off explaining what Mold Breaker helps against then follow it up with how this can make it difficult to pivot into for most teams with Mold Breaker allowing Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake.
  • It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type Pokemon in the tier like Rotom-W, Tangrowth and Moltres, letting it make use of those resistances to get in and start putting major holes in teams. I don't really consider this to be true because there isn't much letting it in without chunking it. Moltres, Keldeo, Prima etc. have strong secondary STABs, Tang clicks Knock more often than Giga, and in Rotom-W's case, it carries Will-O-Wisp. I'd rather this point be about it struggling to take advantage of its defensive typing because it has really mediocre defensive stats.
  • Despite Haxorus' many pluses, it faces competition from other Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Salamence, limiting it's splashability. Salamence is a better sweeper with Moxie and has a better defensive typing while Kommo-o having more versatility in its offensive sets. Just compress this and say they both perform the role of a wallbreaker or sweeper better than Haxorus can and provide more defensive utility to a team
  • Even though Haxorus is a devastatingly powerful Pokemon, it is very prediction reliant as it may lock itself into the wrong move and be exploited, like using Outrage on opposing Fairy-types, or Poison Jab on Steel-types like Celesteela, and it's below average defensive stats and awkward speed tier let it be easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Nihilego and Mienshao.

You repeat Scizor twice here. It's Galarian Slowbro, not Slowbro-Galar. It is also odd not to bring up the rotoms here. Just combine the mold breaker bit into this because that is basically what the ability primarily helps with.

[OVERVIEW}

Haxorus is a solid wallbreaker in the UU tier, thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier which lets it outspeed offensive threats like Krookodile, Gyarados, Galarian Moltres and Kommo-o maybe cut one of these examples since this section of the analysis is currently pretty wordy, as well as a powerful STAB Outrage hitting common defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Salamence wouldn't really call Salamence a defensive Pokemon, so maybe use Buzzwole or Rhyperior as an example instead and Amoonguss for big damage. Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Hatterene I'd maybe replace Hat with Celesteela since that gives you an example of a Pokemon Close Combat can help cover, which you otherwise don't have here atm, Tapu Bulu cut this example, Primarina and Aegislash. With the additional power of a Choice Band Haxorus can tear through teams, with Mold Breaker allowing Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, making Haxorus difficult to pivot into for most teams. It’s typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type Pokemon in the tier like Rotom-W, Tangrowth and Moltres, though it's mediocre defensive stats don't allow it to use it's typing to it's full potential.Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Salamence limit it's splashability, with both being able to function as wallbreakers and sweepers while also offering more defensive utility for a team. Even though Haxorus is a powerful Pokemon, it is very prediction reliant as it may lock itself into the wrong move and be exploited, like using Outrage on opposing Fairy-types, or Poison Jab on Steel-types like Celesteela, and it's below average defensive stats and awkward speed tier let it be easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Nihilego and Mienshao. separate this bolded part of the paragraph into two sentences, as currently it's a bit run-on.

Outrage is Haxorus' main STAB move, providing a nuclear attack in conjunction with Choice Band, that is able to heavily dent opposing Pokemon such as OHKO-ing is there an example you're missing here? and Rotom-W and being able to 2HKO Assault Vest Tangrowth, Moltres and Quagsire. Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to nail Pokemon such as Aegislash, Jirachi and Slowbro-Galar while also being great neutral coverage for many Pokemon in the tier like Scizor, Krookodile and Mew don't think this is a particularly important point to make. Mold Breaker helps Haxorus hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as being able to hit through Rhyperior's Solid Rock. Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks Defensive Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela, as well as being able to hit Dark-types like Krookodile and Zarude for super-effective damage specify that it can do this without having to lock itself into Outrage, and maybe also bring Umbreon up as an example. Poison Jab lets Haxorus hit the Fairy and Grass-types within the tier, like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Tapu Bulu use Togekiss as your example here over Bulu. First Impression gives Haxorus a very powerful priority move to use, being able to revenge kill the likes of Starmia, Zarude and Choice Scarf Krookodile, however it's an inconsistent move and Haxorus being forced to switch afterwards makes it less desirable. This makes Hazard Setters like Mew, Krookodile and Nihilego brilliant partners. Shuckle are able to set up a Sticky Web for Haxorus, allowing it to outspeed and OHKO some of it's common checks like Keldeo and Nihilego. Haxorus appreciates getting in safely so that it can begin smashing teams apart, so pivots like Rotom-W, Scizor, and Zarude can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in. Haxorus dislikes the Steel-types within the tier, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Scizor due to it's ability to reliably revenge kill it use Aegislash as an example here instead for its ability to scout Haxorus's moves and potentially decrease its damage output with King's Shield. Electric-types like Raikou and Thundurus can help deal with those two, as well as being able to deal with faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao. Steel-types like Scizor new example needed here and Jirachi can hit Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful STAB Outrage also having the ability to bring in Haxorus safely with U-turn and also can help check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.

===================
**Steel-types**: Steel types like Celesteela, Aegislash, Scizor remove this example and Jirachi can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into Poison Jab or Outrage and threaten it, with Jirachi and Aegislash being able to take advantage of Haxorus locked into Poison Jab or Outrage and threaten it cut this part of the sentence. Specify in a new sentence that Celesteela and Aegislash can use Protect and King's Shield respectively to scout its attacks, while Jirachi can threaten to outrun and flinch it down with Iron Head. However, all of them have the potential to be 2HKOd by one of Haxorus' moves, such as Jirachi and Aegislash taking massive damage from Earthquake.

**Priority-Users**: Priority Users like Lycanroc-D, Scizor replace Scizor with Diggersby, which is the only other semi-relevant priority user I can think of that threatens Haxorus and Mamoswine can make Haxorus’ sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip.

**Fairy-types** Fairy-types like Hatterene, Primarina and Azumarill can take advantage of Haxorus locked into Outrage by getting a free switch and threaten it with a powerful STAB move, though they must be careful of Poison Jab. Specifically note Togekiss for its immunity to Earthquake, which gives it more opportunities to take advantage of Haxorus.

**Faster Checks** Despite Haxorus' decent speed tier, it is outpaced by common threats within the tier such as Nihilego, Keldeo and Lycanroc-D find a different example than Lycanroc here since you already bring it up in the priority section. Add a sentence here for choice scarf users like Krookodile and Gardevoir (which is more common now with rain being good). However, these Pokemon cannot switch in safely on Haxorus.

Haxorus appreciates getting in safely so that it can begin smashing teams apart, so pivots like Rotom-W, Thundurus, (AC) and Zarude can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in. Haxorus dislikes the Steel-types within the tier, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Aegislash due to its ability to scout Haxorus' Haxorus's moves and potentially decrease its damage output with King's Shield. Electric-types like Raikou and Thundurus can help deal with those two them, as well as being able to deal with faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao. Steel-types like Aegislash and Jirachi can hit Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful STAB Outrage. (added period) also having They also have the ability to bring in Haxorus safely with U-turn and also can help check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.

A Dragon Dance set can be ran to help Haxorus bypass faster checks like Nihilego and Mienshao; (comma -> semicolon) however, (AC) finding a turn for it to set up is difficult and it is easily outclassed by Salamence due to it's its access to better bulk, typing and Moxie. A Swords Dance set with Scale Shot is also viable, but the Defense drop that comes from Scale Shot makes Haxorus much easier to pick off from priority attacks on top of it being unreliable and the rarity of Haxous Haxorus getting two turns to set-up set up.

Checks and Counters

===================
**Steel-types**: Steel types like Celesteela, Aegislash, (AC) and Jirachi can take advantage of Haxorus being locked into Poison Jab or Outrage and threaten it. Celesteela and Aegislash can use Protect and King's Shield respectively to scout its attacks, while Jirachi can threaten to outrun and flinch it down with Iron Head. However, all of them have the potential to be 2HKOd 2HKOed by one of Haxorus' Haxorus's moves, such as Jirachi and Aegislash taking massive damage from Earthquake.

**Priority-Users**: Priority Users users like Lycanroc-D, Diggersby, (AC) and Mamoswine can make Haxorus’ Haxorus's sweep fall short, though they will be punished greatly if Haxorus is yet to take chip. Haxorus is especially weak to Mamoswine's Ice Shard, which is able to get the kill with minimal chip.

**Fairy-types**: (added semicolon) Fairy-types like Hatterene, Primarina and Azumarill can take advantage of Haxorus locked into Outrage by getting a free switch and threaten it with a powerful STAB move, though they must be careful of Poison Jab. Togekiss in particular is a major threat thanks to its immunity to Earthquake and Outrage, which gives it more opportunities to take advantage of Haxorus.

**Faster Checks**: (added semicolon) Despite Haxorus' Haxorus's decent speed tier, it is outpaced by common threats within the tier such as Nihilego, Keldeo, (AC) and Zarude. Furthermore, Choice Scarf users like Mienshao, Krookodile, (AC) and Gardevoir all threaten it greatly due to their ability to outspeed it and hit it for massive damage, particularly Gardevoir who is immune to Outrage. However, these Pokemon cannot switch in safely on Haxorus.

:SS/Haxorus:

[OVERVIEW]

Haxorus is a solid wallbreaker in the UU tier, thanks to it's monstrous base 147 attack, good speed tier which lets it outspeed offensive threats like Krookodile, Gyarados, and Kommo-o , as well as a powerful STAB Outrage hitting common defensive Pokemon like Tangrowth, Buzzwole and Amoonguss for big damage. Coverage options in Earthquake, Close Combat,(AC) and Poison Jab let it get past would-be checks like Celesteela, Primarina and Aegislash Aegislash, Celesteela, and Primarina.(reorderd to match coverage) With the additional power of a Choice Band Haxorus can tear through teams, with Mold Breaker allowing Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, making Haxorus difficult to pivot into for most teams. Mold Breaker allows Haxorus to hit Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake and makes it difficult for opposing teams to switch into Haxorus. It’s Its typing provides resistances to the abundant Water, Fire, Electric and Grass-type to Pokemon in the tier like Rotom-W, Tangrowth,(AC) and Moltres, although it's its mediocre defensive stats don't allow it to use it's its typing to it's the full potential.(added space) Dragon-types like Kommo-o and Salamence limit it's splashability its viability, with both being able to function as wallbreakers and sweepers while also offering more defensive utility for a team. Even though Haxorus is a powerful Pokemon, it is very prediction reliant as it may lock itself into the wrong move and can be exploited if it is locked into the wrong move, like using Outrage on opposing Fairy-types,(RC) or Poison Jab on Steel-types like Celesteela. It's Its below average defensive stats and awkward Speed(capitalize) tier also let it be easily revenge killed by Keldeo, Lycanroc-D, Nihilego,(AC) and Mienshao.

[SET COMMENTS]

Outrage is Haxorus' main STAB move, providing a nuclear attack in conjunction with Choice Band, that is able to heavily dent opposing Pokemon such as OHKO-ing Kommo-o and Rotom-W and being able to 2HKO Assault Vest Tangrowth, Moltres and Quagsire. Choice Band-boosted Outrage OHKOes Kommo-o and Rotom-W and 2HKOes Assault Vest Tangrowth, Moltres, and Quagsire. Earthquake provides a way for Haxorus to nails Pokemon such as Aegislash, Jirachi,(AC) and Slowbro-Galar Galarian Slowbro. Mold Breaker helps Haxorus hit levitating Pokemon like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake, as well as being able to hit through Rhyperior's Solid Rock. Close Combat is another powerful coverage option that also smacks defensive(lowercase) Steel-types that can't be hit by Earthquake like Celesteela, as well as being able to hitting Dark-types like Krookodile, Umbreon,(AC) and Zarude for super-effective super effective damage. Poison Jab lets Haxorus hits the Fairy-(AH) and Grass-types within the tier,(RC) like Tangrowth, Primarina, and Togekiss. First Impression gives Haxorus a very powerful priority move to use,(RC) being able to revenge kill the likes of Starmia foes like Starmie, Zarude,(AC) and Choice Scarf Krookodile;(comma to semicolon) however,(AC) it's an inconsistent move and Haxorus being forced to switch afterwards makes it less desirable forces Haxorus to switch afterwards. Jolly is used to fully utilise Haxorus' Speed stat, being able to outspeed a fair amount of the unboosted metagame like Moltres and Krookodile. Mold Breaker lets Haxorus damage Levitate users like Rotom-H and Rotom-W with Earthquake and bypass Rhyperior's Solid Rock.(moved sentence on ability here)

Haxorus can fit on offense teams thanks to its insane wallbreaking capabilities,(RC) so that benefit late-game cleaners(lowercase) like Gyarados, Crawdaunt, Krookodile, and Azumarill benefit greatly. Entry Hazard support works greatly with Haxorus, as the chip that Stealth Rocks and Spikes provide can help it get KO's it normally couldn't. This makes Hazard Setters like Roserade, Krookodile and Nihilego brilliant partners. Entry hazard setters like Roserade, Krookodile, and Nihilego help Haxorus secure KOs.(Might wanna list some examples) Shuckle is able to set up a Sticky Web for Haxorus,(RC) allowing it to Sticky Web from Shuckle lets Haxorus outspeed and OHKO some of it's its common checks like Keldeo and Nihilego. Haxorus appreciates getting in safely so that it can begin smashing teams apart, so pivots like Rotom-W, Thundurus and Zarude can provide stable ways for Haxorus to get in. Pivots like Rotom-W and Zarude safely bring in Haxorus.(add a different example over Thundurus if u want) Haxorus dislikes the Steel-types within the tier, most notably Celesteela due to its Earthquake immunity and Aegislash due to its ability to scout Haxorus's moves and potentially decrease its damage output with King's Shield. Electric-types like Raikou and Thundurus(add a different example over Thundurus) can help deal with those two,(RC) as well as being able to deal with faster threats like Keldeo and Mienshao. Steel-types like Aegislash and Jirachi can hit threaten Fairy-types like Hatterene and Sylveon, allowing Haxorus to spam its powerful STAB Outrage;(add semicolon) also having the ability to bring in Haxorus safely with U-turn and also can help check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D. Jirachi can also safely bring in Haxorus with U-turn and check priority users like Mamoswine and Lycanroc-D.(is this what you meant? I dont know if the second part of the sentence is referring to just Jirachi or both)
