Banned deucer.
So, I'll be participating on a tournament, and I would like to ask help of how I could improve my team. It's a Gen 7 OU tournament, not allowing Legendaries / Mythicals / UB. Here's my team:
Satoshi (Greninja-Ash) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Battle Bond
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Water Shuriken
- Extrasensory
- Ice Beam
It's one of my base sweepers, I chose the specs to increase it's Sp. Atk so it can sweep most things such as Mega Charizard ( X/Y)
Cho'Gath (Garchomp) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 Spe
Impish Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
I use Garchomp as my lead normally. It's quite bulky and it helps alot setting up my stones, since it's bulky it could help taking down threats like Volcarona or Toxapex
Edward (Scizor-Mega) @ Scizorite
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Defog
- Bug Bite
- Swords Dance
It's my main sweeper and the core for this team, it's quite helpful with access to defog, bulky with it's max defense and very strong with boosted moves with it's ability
Volcarona @ Firium Z
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Bug Buzz
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
- Quiver Dance
I chose Volcarona for it's huge power and access to Inferno Overdrive that could help killing some pokémons such as Breeloom and Amoonguss
Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock
- Soft-Boiled
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
My supporter pokémon, with some rocks if it's needed, heal bell for my team, soft-boiling for keeping alive.
Wishiwasher (Rotom-Wash) @ Iapapa Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 4 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Defog
This is the pick I've been most struggling with because I needed an efficient defogger in my team. I considered Rotom-Mow for closing the core, alongside Volcarona and Greninja, but it doesn't excels much in the battles
