Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Slack Off

Hippowdon's Sand Stream is changing the climate of UU! Its fantastic mixed bulk and reliable recovery in Slack Off lets it consistently check many threats like Nihilego, Zygarde-10%, Cobalion, and Swords Dance Aegislash. Toxic allows Hippowdon to cripple switch-ins like Tangrowth and Rotom-W. Hippowdon is also a very consistent Stealth Rock setter, beating common entry hazard removers like Salamence, Mandibuzz, and Excadrill due to the combination of Toxic and Slack Off or, in Excadrill's case, Earthquake. Amoonguss and Rotom-W are excellent partners for it, as they check Zarude, Primarina, and Keldeo, with the former switching in on Toxic for it. Salamence checks Scizor and Zarude and removes Spikes to keep Hippowdon healthy. Sand Rush Excadrill is a great offensive partner for cleaning up teams in the late game.

Hippowdon's Sand Stream is changing the climate of UU! My own little comment, my idea was "This Hungry Hungry Hippo is already whipping up a storm in UU!" What you put is fine but figured I'd say my own idea in case you like it more. Its fantastic mixed bulk and reliable recovery in Slack Off lets it consistently check many threats like Nihilego, Swords Dance Aegislash, make SD Aegi the 4th mention after coba, flows better. Zygarde-10%, and Cobalion. Toxic allows Hippowdon to cripple switch-ins like Tangrowth and Rotom-W. is nice since it hits Ground-immune Pokemon such as Rotom-W and Hydreigon Hippowdon is also a very consistent Stealth Rock setter, beating common entry hazard removers like Salamence, Mandibuzz, and Excadrill through Toxic stalling and outlasting them with Slack Off. since it beats most hazard removal options such as be a Mandibuzz, Excadrill, and Salamence. reworded these two points to make more sense and be better. Amoonguss is an excellent partner for it, as it checks Zarude, Primarina, and Keldeo, while also switching in on Toxic for it. Chansey appreciates Hippowdon running Stealth Rock to free up a moveslot for a utility move such as Aromatherapy or Teleport. I haven't found chansey to be a notable pairing for Hippowdon, sand chip wears it down a bit, bring up Salamence as a check to Scizor and Zarude and can remove spikes that wear Hippo down. Also bring up rotom-w as a check to mamoswine and azumarill and sand rush Excadrill as an offensive partner.

As an additional qc comment would bring up what the mixed spread accomplishes here, believe it lets it live hurricane into Draco from hippo but worth checking this. Non 252 252 spread so would be nice to see justification for why you aren’t running more def to even better check things like sd coba / aegi you bring up.
