Work!
:skuntank:
Concept Name: Viable Poison Type
Pokemon Name: Skuntank
Typing: Poison / Dark
Stats: 111 / 77 / 79 / 77 / 79 / 91 [514 BST]
Abilities: Overcoat / Intimidate
Notable Moves: Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Crunch, Haze, Toxic, Slack Off, Knock Off,
How It Fulfills the Concept: Typing is amazing due to only a single weakness, which is usually telegraphed as HP Ground doesn't really exist. This is rather bulky for this meta's standards, especially with its new access to Slack Off. Knock Off and Intimidate can shut down Choice Band mons, and Haze lets it stop set up mons.

:poliwrath:
Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokemon Name: Poliwrath
Typing: Water / Fighting
Stats: 90 / 85 / 95 / 70 / 90 / 70
Abilities: Damp / Primordial Sea
Notable Moves: Circle Throw*, Drain Punch (buffed)*, Surf, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, HP Ghost, Rock Slide*
How It Fulfills the Concept: Drizzle is not going to be part of this meta due to the sheer power of Swift Swimmers, but selfish rain seems at least interesting. This type combo resists Ice and Rock, being the main stabs of our weather setters. It gets access to some new tools to further support it. It appreciates the rain boost on its meager SpA to make its Water STAB more threatening.

:marowak-alola:
Concept Name: Viable Fire-type
Pokemon Name: Marowak-Alola
Typing: Ghost / Fire
Stats: 70 / 80 / 110 / 50 / 90 / 62 [462 BST]
Abilities: Rock Head / Volt Absorb
Notable Moves: Bonemerang, Will-o-Wisp, Shadow Bone*, Swords Dance, Rock Slide, HP Fighting
How It Fulfills the Concept: This Fire-type is also a spinblocker that beats many common mons, including Golem-Alola and Zapdos. Access to Thick Club also means it will hit extremely hard. Boosted its stats a bit to ensure it could outspeed Tyranitar to hit it with Bonemerang. This is also a meta with the ability to BP Agility boosts to it.

:copperajah:
Concept Name: Rock resist with reliable recovery
Pokemon Name: Copperajah
Typing: Steel
Stats: 132 / 130 / 69 / 80 / 69 / 30
Abilities: Water Absorb / Clear Body
Notable Moves: Iron Head*, Earthquake, Slack Off*, Swords Dance, Superpower, Rock Slide, Rapid Spin*
How It Fulfills the Concept: Plays a bit like a less tanky Skarmory with access to recovery, and it does well against bulky Waters due to Water Absorb and its Toxic immunity. Could also be an interesting SD breaker with its immunity to Intimidate. Invoking Donphan, it can also spin, but it isn’t great against the spinblockers except for Jellicent.

Italics = New, Underline = New to the Game

:rs/sunflora:
Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokémon Name: Sunflora
Typing: Grass
Stats: 85/65/85/105/95/30 (Swapped Atk and Def, +10 to all stats except SpA and Spe)
Abilities: Desolate Land
Notable Moves: Solar Beam, Weather Ball, Synthesis, Growth, Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Stun Spore, Encore, Baton Pass
How It Fulfills the Concept: Yeah, when I meant "weather disruptor" I pretty much meant "Primal Weather Abuser" since that's probably the best way to disrupt weather in this meta in a balanced way. Anyway, Sunflora here uses Desolate Land to remove TTar's Sand or Delibird and Abomasnow's Hail and then pivot out with a super slow Baton Pass. While it still has pretty low stats overall, it has just enough special bulk to take a hit or two, which becomes a lot easier with permanent 67% recovery in Synthesis and its actually good 105 Special Attack allows it to hit extremely hard with STAB Solar Beam and pseudo-STAB Weather Balls while having space for extra coverage in HP Ice or utility in Leech Seed or Stun Spore. However, it won't end all weather wars thanks since, while it very easily beats each weather setter, each of them can beat it right back, so you have to be careful with how you bring it in to get rid of weather. Not to mention, it's stupidly slow, so you'll have to take a hit and use your 8 PP Synthesis a lot.
Sunflora @ Leftovers
Ability: Desolate Land
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Solar Beam
- Weather Ball
- Synthesis
- Baton Pass

:xy/talonflame:
Concept Name: Viable Fire-type
Pokémon Name: Talonflame
Typing: Fire/Flying
Stats: 78/81/71/74/69/126
Abilities: Flame Body
Notable Moves: Acrobatics, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Rapid Spin, Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Whirlwind, Soft-Boiled
How It Fulfills the Concept: Oh, Rapid Spin user didn't win? Guess I'll do it myself. Anyway, seeing Talonflame may make you ask "Why should I use this over Moltres?" and to answer that question, there's 3 big reasons. First, that 126 Speed stat makes Talonflame one of the fastest Pokémon in the meta, which lets it be a decent revenge killer or get off Will-O-Wisps before an opposing physical attacker can move and it even has the 3rd fastest Taunt in the game. Secondly, it's a Rapid Spinner immune to Spikes (a trait only shared by Cryogonal and Jumpluff) and the fastest Rapid Spinner in the game, which allows it consistently get rid of Spikes, especially since it reliably beats down Skarmory and Forretress, two of the best Spikers in the tier. And 3rd, it has reliable recovery in Soft-Boiled (which was picked since 32 PP Recover is dumb and birds lay eggs and I think I'm funny), which allows it to stay on the field to Will-O-Wisp or Rapid Spin or Taunt or setup with Bulk Up much longer. Plus, reliable recovery makes going itemless for boosted Acrobatics more plausible. Overall, Talonflame can either be a great offensive utility mon or a dangerous setup sweeper with Bulk Up + Softboiled and Acrobatics
Talonflame @ Leftovers
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Toxic / Hidden Power [Grass] / Will-O-Wisp
- Soft-Boiled
- Rapid Spin

Talonflame
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Hidden Power [Fighting] / Will-O-Wisp / Substitute
- Soft-Boiled
- Bulk Up

Talonflame
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Acrobatics
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Taunt / Toxic
- Swords Dance

:sm/muk-alola:
Concept Name: Viable Poison-type
Pokémon Name: Muk-Alola
Typing: Poison/Dark
Stats: 105/85/75/95/100/40 (-20 Atk, +30 SpA, -10 Spe)
Abilities: Poison Point / Gluttony
Notable Moves: Crunch, Pursuit, Sludge Bomb, Brick Break, Fire Blast, Foul Play, Giga Drain, Knock Off, Shadow Ball, Curse, Haze, Ice Punch, Rock Slide,
How It Fulfills the Concept: Do you hate Ghost-types not named Golurk? Wish you could just not really worry about them? Do you find Umbreon too passive, TTar too Jellicent-weak, and Houndoom too risky? Well, look no further than Alolan Muk who, with a new 95 SpA stat, becomes the premier Pursuit user in the tier, being able to switch into and threaten to trap every common Ghost-type except Golurk, which makes Rapid Spinning a lot easier. Also, it's still a Muk despite its lower Attack stat, so it can always fall back on its Curse set when need be.
Muk-Alola @ Leftovers
Ability: Poison Point
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Fire Blast
- Giga Drain / Knock Off

:rs/mawile:
Concept Name: Rock Resist With Reliable Recovery
Pokémon Name: Mawile
Typing: Steel
Stats: 60/95/105/75/85/30 (Same Stats as buffed Sableye, +10 HP, Atk & Def, -10 SpA, SpD, & Spe)
Abilities: Hyper Cutter / Intimidate
Notable Moves: Meteor Mash, Lunge, Slack Off, Thunder Wave, Knock Off, Flamethrower, Rock Slide, Foul Play, Swords Dance, Baton Pass, Ice Beam, Sucker Punch, Brick Break, Taunt
How It Fulfills the Concept: Thanks to Intimidate, Mawile can very easily pivot into Aerodactyl and Tyranitar's Rock-type attacks, which deal pretty much no damage to it, and can even hard switch into Earthquake (calcs below) and Slack Off the damage right after. Mawile also naturally gets Baton Pass, which gives it a niche as a Defensive Pivot that can generate momentum off of an Aerodactyl that locks itself into Rock Slide. And while it doesn't have Magic Guard like its counterpart Sableye, its Steel-typing still gives it a sand immunity, making it difficult to wear down. It does have some flaws, like lackluster special bulk, having to choose between generating momentum and healing up, atrocious Speed stat, and being fairly passive thanks to Steel being pretty awful offensively, but if checking Aerodactyl is what you need, Mawile does it for you
-1 252 Atk Choice Band Aerodactyl Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 132-156 (40.7 - 48.1%) -- 42.2% chance to 2HKO after 2 layers of Spikes and Leftovers recovery
-1 252 Atk Tyranitar Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mawile: 105-124 (32.4 - 38.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after 2 layers of Spikes and Leftovers recovery
Mawile @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Slack Off
- Baton Pass
- Toxic / Thunder Wave / Knock Off / Foul Play

metagross but bad but with baton pass (Mawile) @ Choice Band
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Brick Break
- Rock Slide / Hidden Power [Ground]
- Baton Pass

:rs/blaziken:
Concept Name: Viable Fire Type
Pokemon Name: Blaziken
Typing: Fire/Fighting
Stats: 80/120/60/120/60/90 (-10 in both Defenses, +10 in Speed and +10 in SpA
Abilities: Blaze
Notable Moves: Cross Chop, Superpower, Fire Blast, The Elemental Punches, Hidden Power Grass, Rock Slide, Overheat.....
How It Fulfills the Concept: Blaziken always was a fine wallbreaker coutersy of his typing and stats, but it was held back with his above-average speed. This tries to fix that, giving it the a better speed stat to became a force in the meta, beating threats like Skarmory, Blissey, Tyranitar and etc....

Concept Name: Rock Resist With Reliable Recovery
Pokemon Name: Chimecho
Typing: Psychic / Steel
Stats: 75 / 40 / 95 / 90 / 105 / 65 (Gen 7 Stats, -10 Atk, +15 Def, -5 SpA, +15 SpD) (BST: 470)
Ability: Levitate
Notable Moves: Psychic, Thunder Wave, Recover, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Heal Bell, Calm Mind, Hypnosis
How It Fulfills the Concept: With steel typing, buffed defenses, levitate, and recover (which it gets in later gens), Chimecho becomes a formidable tank that counters or checks many of the strongest physical attackers in the meta. With rock resist and ground immunity, Chimecho can switch into Ttar, Metagross, Aerodactyl, Dugtrio, and physical Mence. With its additional coverage, it can also take out or cripple many of these threats despite its middling Special Attack. It can also fill a more supportive role with Thunder Wave to slow fast mons and Heal Bell to cure status.

1623929154301.png

Concept Name: Viable Fire Type
Pokemon Name: Torkoal
Typing: Fire
Stats: 80 / 85 / 140 / 85 / 100 / 20 (+10 HP, +30 SpD) (BST: 510)
Abilities: White Smoke, Shell Armor
Notable Moves: Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, Body Slam, Rock Slide, Earthquake, Gyro Ball, Will o Wisp, Explosion, Curse, Iron Defense, Amnesia, Rapid Spin
How It Fulfills the Concept: With good defenses and setup potential, Torkoal could prove to fill a niche in teambuilding. A buff to its Special Defense allows it to better stand supereffective water type moves, and will o wisp helps it cripple physical attackers. It can also set up with curse, which can be helped with shell armor to block crits from going through defensive boosts. Curse also improves the power of gyro ball, a new move to the gen, and Torkoal additionally now has more coverage than it does in og ADV. It also now has rapid spin as it does in later gens, so it can double as a spikes remover.

1624018695721.png

Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokemon Name: Galarian Slowking
Typing: Poison / Psychic
Stats: 95 / 80 / 90 / 110 / 110 / 30 (+15 Atk, +10 Def) (BST: 515)
Abilities: Own Tempo / Neutralizing Gas
Notable Moves: Psychic, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Surf, Shadow Ball, Foul Play, Ice Beam, Thunder Wave, Slack Off, Earthquake, Weather Ball, Calm Mind, Sunny Day, Rain Dance, Hail, Toxic, Brick Break
How It Fulfills the Concept: Galarian Slowking can use Neutralizing Gas to keep Sand Stream / Snow Warning from activating, and can additionally reset the weather manually. In addition, it has options to hit the weather setters hard, with Brick Break and Surf for Ttar, as well as Fire moves to hit Abomasnow and Delibird. It also has insane versatility, with a wide movepool with lots of coverage options and plenty of options for stat spreads. As a plus, it can toxic stall Wonder Guard mons with a toxic immunity itself.

1624061879942.png

Concept Name: Viable Poison Type
Pokemon Name: Quilfish
Typing: Water / Poison
Stats: 65 / 110 / 95 / 95 / 75 / 95 (+15 Atk, +10 Def, +40 SpA, +20 SpD, +10 Spe) (BST: 535)
Abilities: Rough Skin / Intimidate
Notable Moves: Sludge Bomb, Hydro Pump, Surf, Destiny Bond, Toxic, Ice Beam, Return, Shadow Ball, Rest, Swords Dance, Double-Edge, Thunder Wave, Substitute, Spikes, Taunt, Signal Beam, Facade, Explosion
How It Fulfills the Concept: With its buffed stats and versatile movepool (with additions it gets from future gens), Quilfish could prove to be a wildcard on teams, with several potential archetypes to fill. It could be anything from a setup sweeper to a utility spikes setter/fast taunter. Its new attack stats and slightly higher speed allow it to punch holes through several of gen 3’s threats, while its low HP and SpDef still allow it to be taken out without too many problems. Physical attackers and sweepers should be wary though, as intimidate combined with its higher defense stat may allow it to set up a Swords Dance and sweep slower teams. In addition, with its speed stat being higher than most spikers, it can also run a taunt set to set up spikes itself. It can also spread status with Thunder Wave / Toxic and can potentially run more unconventional sets by using Destiny Bond and Explosion.

Bold = New Move

Concept Name: Viable Fire-type
Pokemon Name: Chandelure
Typing: Ghost/Fire
Stats: 60/55/90/145/90/67
Abilities: Flash Fire / Flame Body
Notable Moves: Substitute, Calm Mind, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hidden Power, Pain Split, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Haze, Overheat
How It Fulfills the Concept: Chandelure fills the role of a stall breaker with it's SubCM set. With Sub it can set up all over Blissey and scout for dug and on top of this it also has a high Sp.Atk stat meaning even without a CM it's HP grasses still sting ttar and pert. However due to it's below average bulk and speed it can stuggle to find places to set up vs a faster team and even Balance teams can beat it by having checks like Ttar,Flygon,Mence,Snorlax and Non-Pert Waters on top of wearing it down with spikes.

Concept Name: Viable Poison-type
Pokemon Name: Nidoking
Typing: Poison/Ground
Stats: 100/105/75/95/70/80
Abilities: Intimidate / Poison Point
Notable Moves: Earthquake, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Lovely Kiss, Roar, Toxic, Megahorn, Rock Slide, Focus Punch, Sludge Bomb, Thief, Fire Blast, Taunt, Shadow Ball
How It Fulfills the Concept: Nidoking without sleep is just an ok mixed attacker, however with sleep those 3HKOs become a lot scarier when your Blissey can't recover and your Jelli can't surf the incoming pursuit tar. EQ, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt (Or HP grass if you have skarm traping) form a great wallbreaking core that treatens most of the meta and it can also run a CB set (also with sleep) with needs more prediction but is harder to counter due to it's higher power. Intimidate + It's typing means it's a great counter to fighters and it's able to swich in on rock slides from Ttar and Aero (It can even eat two aero double edges with a spike down from full). However most teams have 2 or more checks to Nidoking (Ex Pert + Gar, Milotic + Celebi) meaning it can only sleep one check.

*=New Addition
:bw/empoleon:
Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokémon Name: Empoleon*
Typing:

Base Stats: 84 / 86 / 88 / 101* / 101 / 60 [BST: 520] (-10 SpA)
Ability: Priomordial Sea*
Notable Moves:
Steel Wing, Brick Break, Earthquake, Rock Slide, Drill Peck
Hydro Pump, Surf, Ice Beam
Swords Dance, Toxic, Roar
Concept Description: This would add a new niche to the meta with its Water/Steel typing. Its typing would help it excel in its role as it’s good defensively and Empoleon already has nice bulk. It would be a good weather disruptor as it could resist Rock and Ice-type attacks from the weather setters, and pressure them offensively with Water-type attacks (or less viably through Steel Wing). This would also help it against weather abusers since its typing would give it a good match up against them. With its slightly lowered special attack, it won’t be overly centralizing in the meta.

:bw/weezing:
Concept Name: Viable Poison-type
Pokémon Name: Weezing
Typing:
*
Base Stats: 85* / 100* / 120 / 85 / 70 / 60 [BST: 520] (+20 HP, +10 Atk)
Ability: Levitate
Notable Moves:
Explosion, Sludge Bomb
Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat*, Thunderbolt, Crunch*…
Toxic, Haze, Will-O-Wisp…
Concept Description: With its new buff, Weezing would be able to poison Pokémon while threatening Steel-types with Fire-type attacks. It could also work as a mixed attacker and make use of Explosion and its Poison STAB. It also has levitate which gives it an immunity to its four times weakness to Ground-type attacks.
In the Hoenn Region, Koffing can only be encountered on the Fiery Path. Overtime, Koffing and Weezing in the Hoenn Region have gained the Fire-type due to their extreme exposure to the heat. Their toxic fumes are now also known to burn Pokémon.
1623940784217.png

:bw/cobalion:
Concept Name: Rock resist with reliable recovery
Pokémon Name: Cobalion*
Typing:

Base Stats: 91 / 90 / 129 / 90 / 72 / 108 [BST: 580]
Ability: Clear Body*
Notable Moves:
Superpower, Brick Break, Rock Slide*, Earthquake*, HP Steel, Megahorn
Thunderbolt* (Volt Switch replacement)
Wish*, Protect, Taunt, Spikes*, Toxic, Roar, Thunder Wave
Removed Moves: Swords Dance
Concept Description: Cobalion has a double resist to rock and could run WishTect sets for recovery. It has great defensive bulk and could even run mixed sets with its Special Atk and Atk stats being the same (Wish/Protect/Thunderbolt/Fighting-type move). While Cobalion would become the second weakest Fighting-type (Atk stat wise), it would also become the fastest Fighting-type in the format. Clear Body helps it preserve its already low attack stat and supports its matchup against Gyarados and Salamence. In general, adding Cobalion to the format would give it a chance to shine as it is now outclassed by other Pokémon in newer generations.

Work!
Just wanted to make an announcement that the BST limit is being removed effective immediately. Please use common sense when making your subs.

We are aiming for an average in this meta of around 500-500 so try and stay in this range, but feel free to play with it if it fits your concept.

Best Gal

once upon a time wont last forever
dustox.png

credit lei for the art! tysm again :)

Concept Name: Viable The Cutest Poison Type
Pokemon Name: Dustox
Typing: Bug/Poison
Stats: 86/55/99/70/135/65 (+26 HP, +5 Atk, +29 Def, +20 SpAtk, +45 SpDef) BST: 510
Abilities: Intimidate / Thick Fat
Notable Move Additions: Acrobatics, Baton Pass, Foul Play, Glare, Iron Defense, Lunge, Recover, Weather Ball
How It Fulfills the Concept: Look, :dustox: Dustox needs a lot of help to do much of anything. Even if I were to give it base 90+ in every stat, it would still struggle immensely. It's typing is hard walled by all Steel types, Ghost types, and Poison types, as well as mons like :aerodactyl: Aerodactyl, :gliscor: Gliscor, and :camerupt: Camerupt. It is threatened by virtually every metagame relevant mon, and even if you consider its favorable matchups against Grass and Fighting types...most of those STILL beat it, i.e. :celebi: Celebi and :heracross: Heracross.

The point I'm making is that while that stat buff is utterly bonkers, and I gave it two good abilities + usable Bug stab (it won't though) + new coverage options, it still will be threatened by plenty of the tier and struggle to make progress in the majority of matchups. It is now a mon that can be tooled to target Physical mons like :Breloom: Breloom, :toxicroak: Toxicroak, and can soft check the majority of them if you're wary of Rock or Flying coverage. Struggles vs many Physical attackers like :tyranitar: Tyranitar, :snorlax: Snorlax, :metagross: Metagross, and other mons that can similarly threaten it/cannot be worn down by it, since even with coverage and the Special Attack buff, it can't hit very hard.

As for Thick Fat, this enables it to do things like actually check Fire/Grass coverage decently well, switch into things like :Eelektross: Eelektross with relatively few worries, and giving it free entry on things like :Cryogonal: Cryogonal, :Abomasnow: Abomasnow, and giving it additional pivoting options into things like :starmie: Starmie and :flygon: Flygon which normally it would have no business doing. It now is a :Blaziken: Blaziken check! Hurrah!

It's still passive, and quickly approaches 4mss, and gets blown open by common meta threats, but if you can get around its issues in the builder, I believe it can be very viable :)

Concept Name: Rock Resist with Reliable Recovery
Pokemon Name: Chesnaught
Typing: Grass/Fighting
Stats: 88/107/122/74/75/64 BST: 530
Abilities: Overgrow / Battle Armor
Notable Moves: Aerial Ace, Brick Break, Curse, Dragon Claw, Earthquake, Endeavor, Focus Punch, Frustration, Giga Drain, Hidden Power, Iron Defense, Iron Tail, Leech Seed, Low Kick, Pain Split, Protect, Reflect, Rest, Return, Roar, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Sleep Talk, Sludge Bomb, Spikes, Spiky Shield, Substitute, Sunny Day, Super Fang, Synthesis, Thunder Punch, Toxic
Removed Moves: Belly Drum, Bulk Up, Swords Dance
How It Fulfills the Concept: A sturdy check vs DDTar, Choice-locked Aero, and Golurk, Chesnaught has the potential to be a big mover and shaker in this meta, with access to Leech Seed + Spiky Shield, Spikes, and a strong Fighting stab in Brick Break, it serves as a Sleep-less but much stronger Breloom, at cost of being slower, and thus losing out on the Magneton/Metagross/Skarmory/Poliwrath/Ludicolo speed tie, as well as being slower than things like the base 65 Eevees (Flareon, Vaporeon, Umbreon), Scizor, Sandslash, and Walrein. Some more viable than others, obviously.

You immediately threaten out Tyranitar, you immediately threaten out Swampert, and you're a Fighting type with a good matchup against Jellicent for the most part. You can capitalize on switches with Spikes and Roar, and thanks to the removal of BDrum, Bulk Up, and Swords Dance, it can't really go insane without some level of support. Curse sets get the added benefit of not getting crit through. I think it might be strong as subbed currently but idk we'll see what council thinks :)

1589477122_639_Bronzong-HD-Wallpapers-2020.jpg

Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokemon Name: Bronzong
Typing: Psychic/Steel
Stats: 67/89/116/79/116/33 BST: 500
Abilities: Levitate / Air Lock
Notable Moves: Ancient Power, Block, Calm Mind, Confuse Ray, Doom Desire, Earthquake, Endure, Explosion, Hidden Power, Hypnosis, Iron Defense, Light Screen, Protect, Psych Up, Rain Dance, Reflect, Rest, Rock Slide, Sandstorm, Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, Skill Swap, Sleep Talk, Solar Beam, Substitute, Sunny Day, Thunder, Toxic, Trick, Weather Ball
How It Fulfills the Concept: Air Lock speaks for itself. Invoking Rayquaza itself, it shuts down all weather effects.
Bronzong isn't exactly a safe switch-in vs. the weather setters of the tier, i.e. Tyranitar and Abomasnow. It beats Delibird handily but who cares
Being able to threaten a sleep vs these mons is usually more than they want to take. You generally are able to muscle at least one free turn out just in their scramble to figure out your set, and Bronzong's utility options are nearly unrivaled. You can manually reset weather, try and capitalize on their switches with moves like Trick, Doom Desire, Explosion, Hypnosis, and Skill Swap (very very fun, turns your opponent's mons into their own anti-weather tool- generally a fun concept to force switches)- the possibilities are numerous with Bronzong, which is why it's effective in its role. It is also a Steel type that isn't immediately fearful of Alolem or Magneton for the most part.

The fun part about Bronzong though is that it is plenty useful outside this role at well, as Levitate is a very very strong ability and allows it to check Gliscor, Metagross, Tyranitar and more much more effectively. It's not as sturdy as Skarmory (no pun intended), but its ability to deal with EdgeQuake coverage handily is obviously valued.

Concept: Viable Poison-Type
Pokemon: Toxtricity
Type: Electric / Poison
Ability: Vital Spirit / Technician
Stats: 75 / 118 / 70 / 113 / 70 / 75 (BST: 517) [+0 / +15 / +0 / +0 / +0 / +0]
Moves
Physical: Sludge Bomb, Brick Break
Special: Fire Punch, Hidden Power, Thunderbolt
Status: (Howl) Thunder Wave, Toxic
Description: Mixed wallbreaker. Its primary STAB will most likely be Sludge Bomb and will run Brick Break to hit Tyranitar harder, but can also run Thunderbolt to hit Skarmory, Hidden Power Ice to hit Gliscor, and Fire Punch to hit Metagross. It can boost its Attack with Howl, but that's probably shitty. Technician doesn't really boost anything significant, but Vital Spirit can prevent it from getting Spore'd by Breloom.

Concept: Viable Fire-type
Pokemon: Houndoom
Ability: Early Bird / Flash Fire
Stats: 75 / 90 / 50 / 120 / 80 / 105 [+0 / +0 / +0 / +10 / +0 / +10]
Moves
Physical: Hidden Power (Fighting)
Special: Crunch, Fire Blast, Hidden Power (Grass, Ice), Overheat, Pursuit
Status: Toxic, Will-O-Wisp
Description: Houndoom really only needs a power and speed buff to be successful. It's got the strongest STAB Pursuit in the game along with high-powered STAB in Overheat/Fire Blast. The extra speed lets it outspeed notable base 100s (Celebi, Jirachi) and Delibird.

Concept Name: Weather Disruptor
Pokemon Name: Tornadus-I
Typing: Flying
Stats: 79/115/70/125/80/111
Abilities: Delta Stream
Notable Moves: Acrobatics, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Crunch, Foul Play, Grass Knot, Hidden Power (Flying), Knock Off, Psychic, Sludge Bomb
Removed Moves: Heat Wave, Superpower
How It Fulfills the Concept: Delat Stream removes any form of weather currently on the field and removes all of Tornadus's weaknesses. While this may seem like a lot, its mediocre bulk and lack of reliable recovery means lack of weakness isn't as big of a deal as it may look like at first glance. Its offensive options are also heavily neutered, with Nasty Plot and Hurricane being gone and Heat Wave and Superpower also being removed. This leaves Tornadus in an awkward spot that forces it to make use of its unique offensive assets if it wants to be good. It can act as a good mixed attacker thanks to its speed tier letting it outspeed most of the meta and its good coverage.

Concept Name: Viable Poison Type
Pokemon Name: Slowbro-Galar
Typing: Poison/Psychic
Stats: 95/100/95/100/70/30 (490 BST)
Abilities: Own Tempo
Notable Moves: Brick Break, Calm Mind, Curse, Earthquake, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Shell Side Arm, Slack Off, Sludge Bomb, Surf
How It Fulfills the Concept: Poison type with an actual special poison move! This thing is really cool because it's so versatile. It has coverage for pretty much everything making it difficult to wall before you know the moveset, though it's far too slow to make use of all-out attacking sets well. 3 attacks Slack Off will be preferred due to their better longevity. Reliable recovery, Calm Mind and a Toxic immunity also give it the ability to be a deadly setup sweeper if it chooses to be. Overall, a versatile and threatening pokemon despite its low speed. Also, special poison type moves don't exist on anything else here.

Concept Name: Viable Fire Type

Pokemon Name: Incineroar

Typing: Fire/Dark

Stats: 95/115/90/80/90/60

BST: 530

Abilities: Blaze / Intimidate

Notable Moves:

Physical: Acrobatics, Earthquake, Focus Punch, Shadow Claw, Fake Out, Cross Chop, Endeavor

Special: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Hidden Power, Crunch, Knock Off, Thunder Punch, Outrage

Status: Taunt, Toxic, Bulk Up, Rest + Sleep Talk, Swords Dance

How It Fulfills the Concept: Incineroar’s typing, stat spread, and abilities allow it to fit right at home in this Pet Mod. Its typing allows it to soft check Metagross, Celebi, Gengar, Jirachi, and other threats. With decent stats all around, Incin can mold itself to whatever its team needs, including a pure defensive set, a fast Taunt support mon, or a setup sweeper. Incin’s decent SpAtk also means it can properly use its Dark STAB to threaten out Psychic- and Ghost-types, which is something only Ttar and Crawdaunt can boast about. Incineroar also pairs well with other metagame threats, like Pert, Starmie, and Flygon.

:ss/silvally:
Concept Name: Viable Poison-type, Viable Fire-type, Rock-resist with reliable recovery
Pokémon Name: Silvally
Typing: Normal
Stats: 95/95/95/95/95/105 (580)
Abilities: RKS System
Added Moves: Earthquake, Recover, Calm Mind
How it fulfills the Concept: Earthquake makes Silvally-Poison a way more dangerous SD-Sweeper alongside its decent bulk, Flamethrower or Thunderbolt for Skarmory and the +10 boost to its speed, which gives it a good speed tier. Silvally-Fire is a better Entei since it has better Special Attack and Speed and Coverage, which makes it a more dangerous Calm Mind Sweeper. Recover makes Silvally-Ground a better check to Pokémon like Aerodactyl, Tyranitar and Salamance.
The other types of Silvally get those buffs too, while not getting overwhelming.

Work!
Ok, hi. Voting time.

Vote for your top 3 in each category. You can place yourself first in one category, but you can be 2nd/3rd in all four. Here is a template:

Viable Fire:
Viable Poison:
Rock Resist:
Weather Disruptor:

As the Silvally sub covers three of these, should it win, it will only count as the winner for the category it wins the most in and will hen be removed from the other categories (so even though it's a candidate for three categories, it will only be able to win once). Please only vote for Silvally in one category as a result.

Voting will be open for probably 2 or 3 days. As the concept submission process has seemed to be way more popular than our traditional way of doing things, we will be continuing with it for Slate 7. If you disagree with this, DM me on Discord I guess.
