How do you use breeding to control your iv's?

Someone told me that with breeding you can help control your iv's. Is this true? I was referred to here for more information. Please tell me EVERYTHING about this.

Breeding is far from a simple question, Ambitions. But yes, there are plenty of guides to help you, and there is an apprenticeship program should you wish to learn more on a practical level (by doing the breeding rather than just reading about it, you learn faster), as well as having support by experienced breeders.
