Good evening,

Your team selection besides Quagsire seems fine but there are some thing that hold sand teams back and its momentum. I find it optimal to use some sort of momentum, Eject Button in particular to bring Excadrill in easily and quickly for effective wallbreaking and sweeping. Slapping two momentum drainers (Gastrodon+Hippowdon) without having Eject Button on either just makes battling a whole like harder than it should be. You also have some subpar sets and I've personally been working on a sand button build before you posted this soo this was just in time, lets get into the rate.

:quagsire: -> :seismitoad:
Seismitoad @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 Spe
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Power Whip
- Earthquake
- Knock Off

I changed Quagsire to Seismitoad because it has really good coverage moves like Power Whip and Knock Off, which is amazing utility for defensive users like Celesteela and Slowbro. Power Whip checks Water-types like Gastrodon and opposing Seismitoad. You also have Grass Knot on Landorus-T because your team lacked Grass coverage and Power Whip + Earthquake does pretty well versus Water. Please do not Power Whip Toxapex or you will get poison'd and you lose longevity.

:garchomp: -> :nidoking:
Nidoking (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic Spikes
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam

Nidoking's poison typing is very valuable in my eyes because it absorbs Toxic Spikes that would otherwise cripple Hippowdon and Seismitoad. Toxic Spikes does really good against Fairy and right now, the ladder is filled with Tapu Fini + Tapu Bulu Triple Calm Mind Fairy teams sponsored by Attribute. I think Toxic Spikes pressures a lot and types like Psychic with Galarian Slowking and Ghost with Gengar tends to be a sack soon in the match and Toxic Spikes can just with late game. Spikes also synergizes well with Substitute Seismitoad.

:landorus-therian:
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Gravity
- Brick Break

Dropping Earthquake seems pretty bad because you may need for like Toxapex or Slowbro late game. I added Gravity since I am adding Eject Button on Hippowdon and Brick Break for a medium against screen based teams like Dark and Fairy.

:hippowdon:
Hippowdon @ Eject Button
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Careful Nature
- Slack Off
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind

Standard Ebutton Hippo

:excadrill:
Excadrill @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor

Expert Belt Excadrill is pretty poor, Choice Band gives direct damage. I added X-Scissor for a better Zarude and Psychic matchup.

:mamoswine:
Mamoswine @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Icicle Spear
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash

Jolly Mamoswine is for those +Spe Tapu Bulu. Thick Fat checks Kyurem, Icicle Spear checks substitute users like Galarian Moltres and Kyurem.

I'd check the viability rankings, sample teams, and smogon sets in the future for sets for your teams. The MPL tournament is also ongoing so you could scroll through and see a Button Ground in action, good luck.
