Gen 5 I have 2 sand teams I want to improve for tournament.

Here's the first one. It's a sand offense team.

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Atk / 172 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Thunder Wave
- Superpower

Standard ttar. Sand setter, latios check, twave support. Not much really to say

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Lando brings rocks and u-turn support, intimidate support, and ground coverage. Not much to say. HP ice for other lando and gliscor

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 20 Def / 240 SpD
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Another bulky pivot. The special version of landorus really. SpDef and volt switch

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
Careful Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Spikes
- Knock Off
- Power Whip
- Gyro Ball

Spikes setter, Latios check, water resist, knock off. also pretty simple

Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Trick
- Dragon Pulse

Revenge kill and hit really hard. that's about it

Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Encore

See above, more focus on hitting hard

General idea with this team is get hazards up for the psychics to kill things. Can mostly ignore spikes except for ttar which is nice

Let me know what movesets or pokemon I should change, but I think this team is better than my other one

The worse team, sand balance

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Atk / 172 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Thunder Wave
- Superpower

Its the same ttar as above. Same role.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Brave Bird

Physical defense and spikes. Switches in to a lot of neutral hits

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 124 Def / 136 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Night Shade

Rain check, spread status, wall things. I don't love it as it is, team is lacking against rain otherwise though

Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
- Encore

See above zam set

Latios (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Trick
- Dragon Pulse

See above latios set

Gliscor @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 244 HP / 140 Def / 124 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Protect
- Knock Off

Good defensive typing, mixed defense, knock off, rocks

This team is bad. Help me fix it.

Thanks for reading, lmk what y'all come up with!

First one really struggles vs ferro and brelooms a lot. Grass types in general tbh and the second one u should go air balloon jellicent as its so weak to mamo

Hi this is for ur first team advice
Untitled 356 (pokepast.es)
this team could only against keldo with revenge killing by alakazam and latios, but these two will be trapped by tyran and scizor so I change latios item scarf to colbur berry, this can make u more confident to click psyshock without worry to trapped by tyran, cause u still got one chance to get back into teams by the item, and ur team lack of measure to against scizor once lando is not healthy, grass knot alakazam is more stable than the focusblast set, u can 2hko tyran with stealthyrock and spikes and ohko scizor without worry focusblast miss. and ferrothorn item change to chope berry to eat one secret sword and use powerwhip to Ohko back, last one change is to wash rotom, scarf rotom can gain more information gap, this will help u take the game and u can use hpice to hit like dragonite and garchomp when lando is not healthy, last is that for against volcar, u can try let tyran take rockslide, so hope u enjoy the team friend!

with ur second team Untitled 356 (pokepast.es)
i kinda feel like hard to against psy spikes balance made by peng, yeah the sample one Sand Nō 1 [Skarm Magic Guard Spikes submitted by Peng] (pokepast.es)
so may be u can find some mons to fit ur team style like u wanna use balance, change the latios to Reuniclus, if u wanna use offense so change the tyran to cb or scarf one, this looks bad cause u against sand offense is like 50/50 but when u face the thunderous rain team, once thunderous come, u will be hit hard and be hard to select one mon to wall it, so my opinion is like the above, keep going !

These two teams are actually pretty standard teams a lot of people use. I don't think the problem is with the teams here. Have you considered linking some replays of you using these teams? I think it would be easier to help you that way.
