Iight community, not even going to lie here I am so tired right now and jaded but someone was like "bruh post this heat," and here I am. For some reason you people tend to work off bandwagons and trends decided by mothers basement people instead of making that decision on your own lol so I am here to encourage you all to try shit on ur own and explore. Now apparently a good portion of the community thinks that sun is bad for some WEIRD reason and many people even messaged me that they were excited about me playing sun at a high level. This fuels me even I pretty much do not play anymore. This is a very lazy review so there will be not over the top theatrics or paragraphs to the void just me giving u this shits; now that we have wasted enough of both of our times here we go.

Overview
Ok so this team is VERY fun to play and abuse sun with. My playstyle is very antibitch made so even mons like torkoal have actually swept late game and hit hard AF. Don't be afraid to take a hit you can take it. Run up on these losers mane their lando cant do shit. Anyway, banded darm in sun gets truly an astonishing amount of resisted KOs, and when it inevitably kills itself, you have victini in the back, which is truly a hidden gem of this team. So lets go one by one here.

Venusaur @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Mild Nature
- Growth
- Solar Beam
- Weather Ball
- Earthquake

This is a pretty fun sweeper sun Venusaur, with the caveat that it cannot hit dragons WHATSOEVER however +2 Solarbeam with kill Dragapult. Earthquake is preferred over earth power because it kills Galarian Slowking which is so common at this point in time. If you're facing the common variant of high ladder Blissey, you can decide whether if you want to use Solarbeam or making the earth shake. It comes in a LOT handier than you might think however sludge bomb is heavily desired in many situations. Weather ball is versatile and useful for nuanced situations like hitting birds in the sand and killing them from full since they didn't think they'd get exposed.

Victini @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- Trick
- Brick Break

If you've kept up with me over the years, you already know victini is one of my favourite pokemon by far. I usually prefer an assault vested variant but this proved to be SO much fun to use especially since we needed speed on this squad outside of the weather induced speed on the life orb hindered mon; This provided just that. While it is not hitting breathtakingly comical damage %s as banded darmanitan, it has trick (which darm can have lmaoooooo), bolt strike, will not kill itself and is A HELL of a lot bulkier than darm. There are games actually where darm is a hindrance rather than an asset but you have to truly think about when to save this. Brick break is just for tran and ttar support, open to suggestions on that last slot tbh.

Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

lol I’m not explaning this. U know it breaks things and nothing resists. I know many of you, like the dope addicts you are will click flare blitz in literally every single situation however I am telling you that a little prediction can go a LONG way here with this mon. WIth choice band your attack is 610+ so you do not have to ram things, maybe try preserving some of it. Throw off a uturn every once in a while, many hit em with an EQ sometimes lol but if all else fails FUCK THOSE HOES UP WITH BLITZ my guy lmaoooooo tear their asses up and rip holes through their pathetic team and make them call you daddy. Higher level and or brave players can bluff scarf as well and nab some more kos but you just have to know how to play it right. A lot of people are straight-up afraid of this in sun and rightfully so.

I really like this mon. Sometimes I get in the mood to use weather ball to hit pelipper a lot harder but honestly fire blast's power is noticeable. Earth power hits the tran and it's a 2hko. From these evs you do about 70% to lando and can damage pex a bit. U can sweep if you want as well, fire blast hits pretty hard.

Mandibuzz @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Overcoat

EVs: 212 HP / 240 Def / 8 SpD / 48 Spe

IVs: 0 Atk

There is plethora of ailments that you weirdos in this community posses, and since I am not a licensed doctor I wont diagnose yall but like truly wtf is wrong with you people who just afraid of running helmet on mandibuzz bc of rocks like bruh lmao just keep them off the field. I have spin on torkoal bc of a certain situation however this mon is a true star on this squad. I love my mons being defensively offensive and punishing the bitchmade playstyles. And it works. Please stop criticizing non boots mandibuzz like you know what u are talking about. I am the best mandibuzz user of all time. you kids are my sons and you need to listen to your father. Threats
Honestly I hit a few tradeoffs because I really wanted to use both darm and tini on the same team. This left a giant hole that dragons can expose on my team if they get out of control. Fast dragons will absoutely run game on me if they get too out of control - mainly mons like latios and dragapult, almost exclusively those two tbh.
Non Threats
Kart lol shit is just not remotely a threat to any team besides all fat stop using It


If you are new to this playstyle there might be some longevity issue as well however if you play better you get around that. I'll throw some replays below to show how to use. Now any ideas on how to improve or just thoughts on this? Remember yall, flex on these losers man. the people that boo you always have the cheapest seats. Lets fucking go. lol I was hoping you would post this, I have been keeping my eye on the sun talk in the OU heat thread.

I played against you and this team a couple times I think, once I got super smoked and once I played way worse than you put still won because you are ridiculously weak to dragapult, like you said.

Obviously, you are gonna know the ins and outs of what works on your team more than a simple mortal such as I, but have you considered using a more sp def invested mandibuzz? I was watching your replays and its physical bulk never seemed terribly critical to keep exactly as it is.

I am not sure if this is the optimal spread for mixing your defenses, and I don't know what your speed benchmarks are (a 208 speed stat with 48 evs seems arbitrary to me but there may be a reason for it I don't see), but 248 HP/64 Def/152 Sp Def/44 speed with a bold nature might be worth trying.

With this spread, it would mean from full you always live two consecutive dracos from timid specs pult (barring a crit), and will also always take a +2 stone edge from jolly garchomp (without life orb, but +2 life orb edge has a 75% chance to OHKO you with your current spread anyway). Life orb jolly garchomp at +2 also only kills with scale shot if and only if all 5 hits connect, and timid life orb Latios only has a 25% chance to 2KO with draco, although specs would still always 2KO.

Your team is solid as is but this might be worth a shot if you want to try optimizing the finer details.
 
It’s sorta hard to get darm in without slow u turners/ teleporters since his defenses are buttcheeks so I feel like he can only come in after a teammates death or on a weak resisted hit. He’s also pretty slow so even if his teammate dies he may not even be able to come in. I feel like giving victini a band and darm a scarf would help him with speed, and darm will still hit super hard. Maybe put u turn on victini/mandibuzz or something for the slow u turn into darm idk

This is probably something to do with Best Teambuilder and others have told me in the past. I play pretty aggressively and so getting it in isn’t really an issue at all tbh. Just switch him in on them switching or sack and you’re golden anyway. Try watching the replays and you’ll see.
 
Always heat, dawg. I know you are a mandibuzz fan, but I suggest trying eject button corviknight in its place.

I like this on weather yes because you want to get the most out of your sun/rain turns. Use it as a way to get your strong stuff in for free. Throw it in on the things mandibuzz would be roosting on. This is a pretty dope team. I think it can be improved a bit in some aspects to make it even more brainless for the average user.

First off, what is the rationale for using Scarf Victini and Band Darm as opposed to Scarf Darm and Band Victini? Not saying either combo is better, but in theory CB Victini has a higher speed tier than Darm and kills everything Darm is going to kill, where as Scarf Darm is slightly more powerful and likes the Scarf boost. Also, is there any reason to use Band Darm instead of LO Darm? With the exception of Earthquake, LO Darm can pretty much do the same thing with less prediction, while catching a few surprise KOs on incoming Heatran.

As for the details:

Venusaur - Giga Drain > Solarbeam. Venusaur is pretty good longevity for a sweeper and it handles Blissey better with Giga. All the Rillaboom running around just amplifies this even more. Earth Power becomes better than Earthquake, for preserving the OHKO on Dragapult at +2. Galarking is not a huge threat for this team. Sludge Bomb can work over Earth Power as well, as Dragonite looks more annoying to this team than Heatran does, especially for those who opt for LO Darm with Earthquake.

Victini - Final Gambit > Brick Break. You won't use this slot at all but it could be fun to play around with. Also, Victini should probably be Jolly instead of Adamant. It is kind of a shame to not outspeed Scarf Lando. Per the point above, it is possible Band Victini and Scarf Darm could be tried out instead.

Darm - like Victini, Darm should be Jolly instead of Adamant. Speed tie vs. Tapu-Lele and Kyurem. Outspeed Lando. Life Orb Darm could work here with the same moves. F

Torkoal - The EV spread here is inefficient. I would recommend using the standard Smogon Analysis but for the spirit of this team being offensive, try a Quiet Nature with 0 Spe IV, 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpA. Also, Weather Ball > Fire Blast for Pelipper and better accuracy.

Mandibuzz - Mandy should be HDB because she is a good Dragapult counter. Can't do that without boots. Try this spread: 248 HP / 108 Def / 152 SpD, Bold. It guarantees Mandy lives 2 Dracos from Dragapult. Not sure what the speed on your spread is for. Mandibuzz with Sun support already handles Crawdaunt and your spread manages to underspeed Crawdaunt by exactly one point.

Scarf victini is kept in the back, is a nice scarfer, and is easier to sweep late game over scarf darm. It's also A LOT bulkier and I can hard switch it into attacks, something that is much harder to do for darm. Darm even with it's +attack nature and non scarf still outspeeds kyu. I’m not afraid of lele tho.

Solarbeam is much more powerful than giga drain, and at +2 can kill. dragapult. You can also power up and kill blissey but I also have darm and victini. There is a very good reason to have EQ than power, trust that. It definitely helps out with sweeping and hitting both sides. I would not underestimate that. king stops sweeps in it's tracks and kills if I dont use eq.

No. Theres a reason I have brick break, mainly for ttar and tran which in specific situations ruin my day. Adamant is a choice I made and I like the power differences. Same with darm, band darm hits a LOT harder than scarf and it's extremely noticeable.

I actually use torkoal offensively in a lot of situations. Theres a reason I have it that way it can live attacks and do damage.

Mandibuzz with helmet and the defensive sperad is one of the best mons on this team. I think you're just used to smogon shit
 
I like this team, but it gets walled by so many common threats. This has 0% against Dragapult if you don't get a +2 Venusaur in the sun.
