not very good with words unlike the handsome teal, but i want to show appreciation for all the hard work Dave has been doing, continues to do, and has planned for the future. he has spearheaded many a good thing and brought together many a good people to combine their efforts for the overall betterment of the tour community and tournament experience. i know it takes its toll and it hasn't been an easy time for him irl either so it's even extra special that he hasn't slowed down or shied away from his commitments.

very easily we troll people on discord and other places and i feel that we're more shy of showing appreciation even if internally many of us do feel thankful. special shoutout Maia who also did and still does a looooot of work.

i cannot namedrop every single person sadly but i want to say that im thankful for every host who runs every small tour because it all matters and you're epic for doing so.

please use this thread to say thanks to one some or many people that you think are deserving of it. believe it these small things go a long way

YES! I've wanted a thread like this for a while. I'm very grateful for countless people on PS and Smogon, but I'd love to mention a few...

BKC, for being a friend, helping get me more and more into past Gens, and especially for all of the phenomenal content on your YouTube channel. Your videos have truly helped me in some rough times.

Earthworm, for helping bring me more and more into the beautiful Gen that is GSC, and for our many, lovely chats. Hope to see you back competing again (in both running and Pokémon)!

Ransei, for so many things. Where to begin...bringing me into the PH community, being a kind and supportive person in some tough times, helping with various PS moderation things, and just being one of the most GOATed people on these sites.

cromagnet, for being one of my dearest friends on PS, and for your endless faith and support in me. I undoubtedly would have quit long ago if it weren't for you.

while i appreciate the sentiment behind this thread we already had a thread for this purpose. unfortunately, that thread didn't spark any discussion and instead became a wall of people tagging 20+ people per post to like farm.

if you're reading this and want to show someone how much you appreciate them, send them a dm! its much more personal and allows for a conversation with the recipient of your gratitude. happy thanksgiving (or thursday) everyone!
