[OVERVIEW]
Arceus-Fairy is a great, flexible, defensive option for most teams thanks to its typing, good bulk that allows it to serve a role as either a Fur Coat or an Ice Scales Pokemon, and high Speed that eclipses most physical attackers for the Fur Coat set. Its bulk also makes it a solid choice for a bulky Take Heart sweeper, with Thunder Cage + Strength Sap allowing it to beat most Imposter users one-on-one. A mixed set with Pixilate allows Arceus-Fairy to scare potential checks and counters with a powerful Extreme Speed. Arceus-Fairy's main flaw is arguably its dependence on Strength Sap for healing, which means Magic Guard Blissey and Chansey are perfect counters, since they have the perfect kits to freely switch into Arceus-Fairy and stall it out; Arceus-Fairy can't reliably use Recover instead, as doing so completely forfeits its advantage against Impostor users. Additionally, Fur Coat Arceus-Fairy can struggle against common Steel-type coverage from Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp, while Ice Scales variants are vulnerable to Eternatus and super effective coverage like Noxious Torque Ash-Greninja and Gigaton Hammer Mega Sceptile.

[SET]
Take Heart (Arceus-Fairy) @ Leftovers / Pixie Plate / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Fur Coat / Ice Scales
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Take Heart
- Moonblast / Judgment / Revelation Dance
- Thunder Cage
- Strength Sap

[SET COMMENTS]
Take Heart provides boosting while denying poison from Mortal Spin, which would otherwise force it out. The Fairy-type move of choice can vary: Moonblast is the 2nd strongest Fairy move of the bunch, has higher PP, and has a decent Special Attack drop, Revelation Dance has the best matchup into Normalize, while Pixie Plate + Judgment is strongest, is the most reliable move into Imposter, and provides Knock Off protection. Leftovers allows Arceus-Fairy to not have its healing cut off by Pokemon with low attack, as well as giving it increased longevity, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers and notably slows down Sniper Ash-Greninja significantly.

Arceus-Fairy is typically splashed onto bulkier teams as a wall against threats like Mega Garchomp, Mega Sceptile, and Ash-Greninja, in addition to compressing a late-game win condition at the same time. Arceus-Fairy's solid typing and bulk mean it can serve as a good Imposter-proof to Pokemon like these, particularly with Rocky Helmet if running Fur Coat. Arceus-Fairy does falter to fast Pokemon that can easily slot Steel or Poison-type coverage, like Koraidon for Fur Coat sets, and Sheer Force Ash-Greninja for Ice Scales sets, so defensive Pokemon that can stonewall them like RegenVest Dialga-O, Mega Swampert, and Zamazenta can assist with that, and, in Mega Swampert's case, provides a very valuable check to the threatening Mega Lucario. Arceus-Fairy is both stonewalled and has its healing denied by Blissey and Chansey, so a teammate with Psystrike or a similar move that can pressure them out, like Mega Gardevoir or High Jump Kick Mega Sceptile, is highly recommended.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Heavy-Duty Boots serves as a good option for Arceus-Fairy in general, as preventing entry hazard damage can end up being important in the long run. Covert Cloak is also a viable option, preventing a lot of chip damage from Salt Cure. Arceus-Fairy can run a more support-oriented moveset with moves such as Spikes, but this makes it quite challenging to Impostor-proof.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Blissey and Chansey**: Their immense bulk and Magic Guard render Take Heart Arceus-Fairy almost helpless against them, and their tiny Attack means Arceus-Fairy heals for basically nothing with Strength Sap.

**Ice Scales**: Other Ice Scales users, such as various Arceus forms, Meloetta, and Mega Audino, can check Take Heart Arceus-Fairy, though they should be wary of Thunder Cage's residual damage.

**Steel-types**: Strong Steel-type wallbreakers such as Mega Lucario greatly threaten Arceus-Fairy. Defensively, Pokemon like Solgaleo and Arceus-Steel can check all variants of Arceus-Fairy.

**Salt Cure**: Unless Covert Cloak is used, Salt Cure puts Take Heart Arceus-Fairy on a timer, making it more difficult to set up, as well as making it so Arceus-Fairy is unable to Impostor-proof itself.

**Eternatus**: Eternatus can pressure unboosted Arceus-Fairy out with Poison-type moves. Unaware Eternatus can switch in on any Arceus-Fairy and use it as setup fodder.

[OVERVIEW]
Arceus-Fairy is a great defensive option that can easily be slapped on most teams thanks to good bulk, typing, and high Speed that eclipses most physical attackers. Factors that make it good include its mono-fairy defensive typing, its reliable 120/120/120 bulk, and its meta-defining speed tier. analyses generally leave out dex info unless there's specific applications for it. in this case, if you were to include some here, it'd only be fairy + speed and they can be shoved in Don't underestimate its offensive side either, as its aformentioned speed combined with its 120 special attack allow it to function as a bulky setup sweeper as well. Its bulk and unremoveable Plate also make it a solid choice for a bulky Take Heart sweeper, with Thunder Cage + Strength Sap additionally allowing it to beat most Imposter users one-on-one. The combination of Take Heart, Attacking Move, Thunder Cage, and Strength Sap is the iconic set you can typically expect on any Arceus. As that one saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Despite its reliability, being expected is one of Arceus-Fairy's main issues. Being the main defensive mainstay of the tier means that some pokemon like Garchomp-Mega and other various physical attackers can just tack on Sunsteel Strike or Gigaton Hammer to surprise Arceus-Fairy. Arceus-Fairy's main flaw is arguably its dependence on Strength Sap for healing, which means Magic Guard Blissey is a perfect counter; Arceus-Fairy can't reliably use Recover instead, as doing so completely forfeits its Imposter advantage. Additionally, Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp and Koraidon generally don't have too much trouble fitting Steel-type coverage due to its large presence and overlap with Mega Audino. the rewording here is twofold. the first bit is due to the specific tone that analyses have; they're not aiming to be particularly comedic, and if there is a quip then it's not two whole sentences. the second bit can just be compressed into one sentence.

Fur Coat allows Arceus-Fairy to check a variety of physical threats in the tier, tanking attacks that would most certainly destroy other pokemon with less fortunate defensive profiles. Take Heart's amazing utility in setup and status removal deters moves that apply status like Glare from being used as often. Take Heart provides boosting while denying poison from Mortal Spin, which would otherwise force it out. Your Fairy move of choice can vary depending on which pokemon your team struggle the most against. If your team struggles into moves like Salt Cure or other secondary-effect based moves, running Moonblast or Revelation Dance is your best bet (as well as putting on Covert Cloak). If you want to have a Knock Off absorber, run Pixie Plate and Judgement. The Fairy move of choice can vary: Pixie Plate + Judgment is strongest, is the most reliable move into Imposter, and provides Knock Off protection, while Moonblast and Revelation Dance are compatible with other items. Moonblast has helpful Special Attack drops, while Revelation Dance grans protection against Normalize. If your team heavily struggles into Garchomp-Mega, especially ones that tech on Sunsteel Strike, running Revelation Dance and Ability Shield counteracts this. Revelation Dance also allows you to hit Normalize Pokemon. sunsteel users aren't common enough using the item slot here, helmet provides much more consistent value Covert Cloak protects against Salt Cure, which stifles Arceus-Fairy's setup attempts, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers and notably slows Ash-Greninja significantly.

Arceus-Fairy is typically splashed onto bulkier teams as a wall against physical threats like Sniper Ash-Greninja and Garchomp-Mega Mega Garchomp and Sniper Ash-Greninja, in addition to compressing a late-game win condition at the same time. Pokemon that are vulnerable to the aformentioned Sniper Ash-Greninja, like RegenVest Ting-Lu and Ho-Oh, appreciate the walling that Arceus-Fairy provides. In fact, those physical sweepers themselves appreciate Arceus-Fairy's ability to impostor-proof most versions of them. Arceus-Fairy's solid typing and bulk mean it can serve as a good Imposter-proof to Pokemon like these, particularly with Rocky Helmet. Arceus-Fairy does falter to speedy pokemon that have super effective coverage, such as Sheer Force Ash-Greninja, fast Pokemon with strong special attacks, like Steel Beam Mega Sceptile and Sheer Force users like Ultra Necrozma and Ash-Greninja, so defensive steel types Steel-types like RegenVest Dialga-Origin Dialga-O are appreciated to cover those threats. Arceus-Fairy is walled by most non-impostor Chansey/Blissey sets, so bringing a fighting pokemon you can switch in to scare them out, like Koraidon, is a good choice. Arceus-Fairy is both stonewalled and has its healing denied by Blissey, so a special attacking teammate that can KO it, like High Jump Kick Mega Sceptile or Shell Side Arm Eternatus, is highly recommended. A check to Mega Lucario is also highly recommended due to Sunsteel Strike OHKOing Arceus-Fairy.

Ice Scales is an option to check other Take Heart Arceus forms, certain Flutter Mane sets, as well as most special Dragon-type sweepers that don't tech on coverage for it, however, Ice Scales Arceus-Fairy is typically much less prefered to the utility that Fur Coat provides.

Arceus-Fairy can use Ice Scales instead of Fur Coat to be a decent special wall; however, this is generally still insufficient to check fast special attackers like Flutter Mane, Mega Alakazam, and Mega Sceptile. A physical attacking set with Tidy Up can also work and provides some entry hazard removal, but Magical Torque's confusion forces Arceus-Fairy to run Covert Cloak, thus forgoing Heavy-Duty Boots, and it encounters problems with both Strength Sap and Celesteela.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Blissey / Chansey**: Can often switch in and completely stop any progress Arceus-Fairy is making with its absurd special bulk. Blissey's immense bulk and Magic Guard render Arceus-Fairy almost helpless against it, and its tiny Attack means Arceus-Fairy heals for basically nothing.

**Ice Scales**: Other Ice Scales Arceus formes can be used to check Take Heart Arceus. Other Ice Scales users can check Arceus-Fairy, although they should be wary of Thunder Cage's residual damage.

**Unaware Eternatus**: Unaware Eternatus can be switched in as a surprise factor against most Take Heart Arceus formes in general to beat them. Eternatus can force an unboosted Arceus-Fairy out with Poison-type moves. Unaware Eternatus can switch in on any Arceus-Fairy and use it as setup fodder.

You need to include everything for Scales as well, yes its mostly sap reliant into special mons but specs flutter is not the most prevalent, zam needs to lock into geist to reliably beat, and other guys are all mixed or weak to fairy. This includes every section, and move it out of OO

Arceus-Fairy is a great defensive option that can be a good, flexible choice for most teams thanks to good bulk, typing, and high Speed that eclipses most physical attackers this isnt just for physical attackers, so a possible rewording option is to say its benefits as a fc and scales separately OR mention it outspeeding physical mons as a bonus for fc. Its bulk also makes it a solid choice for a bulky Take Heart sweeper, with Thunder Cage + Strength Sap additionally allowing it to beat most Imposter users one-on-one. pixi point should be here. Arceus-Fairy's main flaw is arguably its dependence on Strength Sap for healing, which means Magic Guard Blissey + Chansey are both perfect counters, since they have the perfects kits to freely switch into Arceus-Fairy and stall it out; Arceus-Fairy can't reliably use Recover instead, as doing so completely forfeits its Imposter advantage. Additionally, Choice Band users like Mega Garchomp generally don't have too much trouble fitting Steel-type coverage due to its large presence and overlap with Mega Audino, except in the rare case of the Pixilate set, in which Arceus-Fairy can just click Extreme Speed the point on pixiceus needs to be its own, covering how it can run a pixilate set and not be lumped in this section. point on drawbacks of scales too

Take Heart provides boosting while denying poison from Mortal Spin, which would otherwise force it out. The Fairy move of choice can vary: Pixie Plate + Judgment is strongest, is the most reliable move into Imposter, and provides Knock Off protection, while Moonblast and Revelation Dance are compatible with other items invert the order here move judgment after moonblast. Moonblast has helpful Special Attack drops and higher PP than other options, while Revelation Dance grants protection against Normalize. Leftovers allows Arceus-Fairy to gain vital passive healing, notably making the impostor matchup easier good point but also mention not having recovery completely cut off by blockers first, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers and notably slows down Sniper Ash-Greninja significantly.

Arceus-Fairy is typically splashed onto bulkier teams as a wall against threats like Mega Garchomp, non-Magic Guard Arceus-Ghost variants pick a better example this one is iffy, and variants of Choice Band Mega-Blaziken poor example, nothing wrong with the gren example, dont even need to specify set, in addition to compressing a late-game win condition at the same time. Arceus-Fairy's solid typing and bulk mean it can serve as a good Imposter-proof to Pokemon like these, particularly with Rocky Helmet if running Fur Coat. Fur Coat Arceus-Fairy does falter to fast Pokemon with strong special attacks, like Steel Beam Mega Sceptile and Sheer Force users like Ultra Necrozma and Ash-Greninja, so defensive Steel-types like RegenVest Dialga-O are appreciated to cover those threats. Ice Scales Arceus-Fairy, likewise, is weak to fast pokemon with strong physical attacks; Pokemon like Fur Coat Mega Swampert and Zamazenta can assist with that, as well as in the former's case, providing a very valuable check to the threatening Mega Lucatio ok these two lines covering its weaknesses should more focus on the stuff its actually weak to. it should be more obvious that a fc wall is going to be suspect against special attackers and vice versa, focus more on physical weaknesses fc has and special weaknesses scales has. Arceus-Fairy is both stonewalled and has its healing denied by Blissey and Chansey, so a special attacking teammate that can pressure them out, like High Jump Kick Mega Sceptile or Shell Side Arm Eternatus due to chansey this example is less good so perhaps find something that uses sword, is highly recommended.

Heavy-Duty Boots serves as a good option for Arceus-Fairy if you intend on switching it in a lot to take attacks, but its utility outside of that makes it quite limiting its actually extremely good so dont downgrade the option here, also "intend on switching it in a lot to take attacks" is not like very great point, you just use boots because you want to not take hazards very simple. Covert Cloak is a much more successful option, preventing a lot of chip damage from Salt Cure not that successful and arguably one of the lesser options, but again not that bad so dont end up adding a neg point. Arceus-Fairy can run a more support-oriented moveset with moves such as Spikes, but it struggles with improofing issues, as the enemy can also use the moves in question fluff, just say can be challenging to improof.

**Blissey / Chansey**: The Blobs' afaik this is not a coined term immense bulk and Magic Guard render Take Heart Arceus-Fairy almost helpless against it, and its their tiny Attack means Arceus-Fairy heals for basically nothing.

**Ice Scales**: Other Ice Scales users, such as various Arceus forms, Meloetta, and Mega Audino can check Take Heart Arceus-Fairy, although they should be wary of Thunder Cage's residual damage.

**Salt Cure**: Unless Covert Cloak is used, Salt Cure puts Take Heart Arceus-Fairy on a timer, making it much more difficult to set up, as well as making it so Arceus-Fairy is unable to improof itself.

**Eternatus**: Eternatus can pressure unboosted Arceus-Fairy out with Poison-type moves. Unaware Eternatus can switch in on any Arceus-Fairy and use it as setup fodder.

**Steel-types**: Any decently strong steel-type attacker, most notably Mega Lucario think you dont need most notably because its not actually that good directly into it since outsped, but for sure leave it as an example, can easily slay Take Heart Arceus-Fairy. On the defensive end, pokemon like Celesteela and Solgaleo can easily tank Pixilate Arceus-Fairy, also being able to tech abilities to beat potential fire-type coverage moves. move this point above salt cure

Arceus-Fairy is a great defensive option that can be a good, flexible choice for most teams thanks to good bulk allowing it to serve a role as both a Fur Coat and an Ice Scales mon, typing, and high Speed that eclipses most physical attackers for the Fur Coat set. Its bulk also makes it a solid choice for a bulky Take Heart sweeper, with Thunder Cage + Strength Sap additionally allowing it to beat most Imposter users one-on-one. Pixilate allows Arceus-Fairy to scare potential checks/counters to Arceus-Fairy that are expecting the Take Heart set with a powerful Extreme Speed. Arceus-Fairy can also utilize Pixilate and serve as a decent mixed attacker while offering powerful priority.

Are the two underlined points referring to the same set?

Leftovers allows Arceus-Fairy to not have its' healing cut off by sapblockers, as well as giving it increased longetivity, while Rocky Helmet punishes physical attackers and notably slows down Sniper Ash-Greninja significantly.

What is a sapblocker?

What is a sapblocker?
1: i was told to list the pixilate set (pixilate, extreme speed, boomburst, v-create, strength sap), also yes, they do
2: a sapblocker is a pokemon with low attack you switch in to block healing from strength sap

do you want me to change the sapblocker part?
