SS OU I'm new to competitive and somewhat know what I'm doing but some advice would be greatly aprreciated.

:ss/linoone:

Badger (Linoone) (M) @ Aguav Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Extreme Speed
- Seed Bomb
- Shadow Claw
This is the first Pokémon I send out, standard belly drum Linoone. Its great when they try to switch out for a type advantage or they set up spikes because it makes belly drum basically free. I end with about 83% HP. His job is to go in and kill usually two Pokémon or weaken walls before going down himself. It makes cleanup easier.

:ss/blaziken:

Chicken (Blaziken) (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Fire Punch
- Thunder Punch
I try to send him in on a U-turn from Jirachi early (or healing wish later in the game for a second chance with Blaziken), as he resists a lot of Jirachi's weaknesses and forces a switch giving me a free swords dance. Good coverage and I chose Fire Punch over Flare Blitz so he can last longer, he still OHKO most things with Fire Punch. By the time a sweeper get on the field Speed Boost makes me faster.

:ss/ludicolo:

Lilypad (Ludicolo) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Rain Dish
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rain Dance
- Protect
- Leech Seed
- Toxic
Classic Toxic stall. Focus on high hp and recovery. I'm thinking of an alternate build with ice beam instead of leech seed for flying types. I might switch this out for Spikes Skarmory but I don't think he will fit too well with the team considering I lead with Linoone and don't focus on hazards too much.

:ss/latios:

Plane (Latios) (M) @ Soul Dew
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Surf
- Recover
Straightforward. Soul Dew Latios. Pure damage and HP EV's to take a hit or two. I use surf to make the most of levitate. Switch in on a STAB Earthquake and they don't tend to see the surf coming the first time around. Considering Choice Specs to deal more damage but I would have to take recover off. I personally don't think that's optimal but I'm open to any suggestions.

:ss/swampert:

Mudfish (Swampert) (M) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Liquidation
- Earthquake
- Avalanche
- Rock Slide
I use him for coverage, he's bulky and hits hard. I know without Mega he just isn't the same, but I still haven't had too much issue yet. I good Electric move prediction is enough to get a clean switch but I don't know if I should consider adding bulk up to use when the inevitably switch out of the electric type of if I should just go for damage on the switch in.

:ss/jirachi:

Shooting Star (Jirachi) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Healing Wish
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Fire Punch
Fairy coverage mostly but healing wish and U-turn is great for Blaziken as previously stated. He should always outspeed so U-turn on something Blaziken can resist early game or Healing wish late game and I get to use Blaziken twice. Still good on a Swampert or something else but that is my main use for it.

Sprites can be added by using either:
:pokemon-name: or :ss/pokemon-name:
:pikachu : -> :pikachu:
:ss/pikachu : -> :ss/pikachu:
(don’t put spaces in between)

Starting with the team,
:ss/linoone:
Stomping Tantrum should be used over Shadow Claw. It really helps OHKO things Extreme Speed can’t like Heatran and Bisharp.

Ludicolo isn’t that great of a Toxic staller. Instead, try using:
:ss/toxapex:
Toxapex is more useful to this team as it can deal with things like SD Kart and Heatran easily. It also synergizes well with the rest of the team.

:ss/latios:
You need to run max speed on Latios. It makes it a more threatening sweeper. Then, change the item to Choice Specs because you can click Draco and (probably) OHKO anything that’s not Steel or Fairy type.
Also, change Recover to Mystical Fire/Aura Sphere to hit steels.

:ss/swampert:
Honestly a more defensive set + leftovers will benefit the team more. The team also needs someone to set up rocks.

:ss/jirachi:
Fast pivoting into Blaziken is not a good idea. Blaziken would just take a massive amount of damage. Imo you should just use a Wish-Protect set because it benefits Latios and Swampert a lot.

Here’s my version of the team:
