Captain's Log: 4/18/18

We have managed to reach our heading. An archipelago of three islands. All of our men have successfully made it here alive. With the exception of poor Yeti.

Trading Hotspot: during the Day phase, you may choose to seek a trade route with someone on your island. If they choose to accept the next night, you lose this ability and gain a Mason Chat with them, along with the ability to hook anyone who visits them at night twice per game. If one of you die, the other will also die.
You are aligned with Yourself. You win if your trading partner wins as well.
However, with the addition of Nightmare Jigglypuff to our crew, things seem to be proceeding on schedule. I've heard that a number of villainous stowaways have snuck in to our group, however, and have charged my men with sorting them out before they return.

And so the beginning dawns upon Islands Mafia.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boy and Girls, and anyone else that we missed, welcome to Islands Mafia! This unique NOC mafia game is unlike anything you’ve seen before, since almost all of it will take place in PMs!! But first, let’s explain the basis.

This is a NOC, meaning any conversations outside of Host created threads are explicitly banned. However, the thread that is out on Circus Maximus is only to show an overview of the islands. There are three islands in the game, and each island has a unique conversation, hidden to anyone not on that island. Think of it similar to faction forums from Viva, except your island isn’t your faction.

The three islands are Melemele, Akala, and Ula’Ula. Those on one may only interact with others on the same island. Lynches are performed individually on each island, so there are three lynches per lynch phase. However, lynch phases only happen every other day phase, netting only 1.5 lynches per day. Night actions occur as they would in any normal NOC, the one stipulation being you can only target those on the same island as you. Flips will also be delegated to the islands the person is on, although the flips appear in the main thread a full cycle after they died. How do you change islands? Glad you asked!

There are three methods to jumping islands.

  1. Leave at the end of the day. This is performed similarly to a lynch, in that you’ll bold it, and it will be public to the entire island that you are leaving them for another island. However, if you change your mind mid-day, you may! Also, if you choose to leave during a lynch phase, you will not be allowed to vote in the lynch, since your vote is to leave the island. For priority reasons, you will leave after the lynch flips, and will be targetable on your new island that night.
  2. Leave at the end of the night. This is performed similarly to your night action, but unlike leaving at the end of the day, this is not going to be public-island information, and does not require any sort of sacrifice. In addition, anybody who tries to target you at night will follow you to your new island. Those night actions will still succeed, but both you and the person targeting you will now be on the new island.
  3. Target someone who leaves at night. This one gives you the least control over yourself, but it’s still a method to change islands. Your action will succeed, and you’ll be dragged along on the night ferry over to your target’s new island.
This will be hosted by me, Hitmonleet, and cohosted by internet as well. Subs are always wanted.

Standard Rules Apply. Plurality lynch, with multilynch in cases of ties. 24 hour phases, excluding 48 hour lynch days and 1 hour twilights.

Alright, we finally have enough confirmations, so let's begin.

The first report has finally been recieved. It appears that all members managed to survive Night 1. I only worry as to what may have happened after...

You are FALKLAND ISLANDS.

God Bless The Queen: Still a British overseas territory, you cannot be converted to any other faction, or manipulated to use your ability on anyone other than your target.

Convoy Movement: The dominant strategy of the Royal Navy during the Falkland conflict, you can move with your target each night, body blocking any attacks making sure that they aren’t “sunk.” However, you will also prevent them from leaving the island, by boxing them in from unknown waters.

You are a member of the Town. You win when all threats to the Town are eliminated.

You are ICELAND.
Hot Springs: You are a veritable hotspot (heh!) of geothermal activity, resulting in large amounts of hot springs. Every night, you can distract a user with soothing warm water, forcing them to stay on the island and target you instead.

Volcanic Growth: Much of your land is from the work of volcanoes expelling lava, which eventually cools to create the land. Once after day 3, you can choose to CREATE LAND, adding a new island to the game, or CREATE LAND BRIDGE, combining two islands.

You are a member of the Town. You win when all threats to the Town are dead.

You are SRI LANKA.

Tamil Kings: You trade with people. Probably. Each night you can target someone, and you will trade with them, giving them one (1) gold for each item they hold, and you will take those items. Gold can be exchanged for any item in the game, at one (1) gold per item. However, these items will not be usable until the phase after the purchase.

You are a member of the Town. You win when all threats to the Town are dead.
Such terrible results seem to be an ill omen for the future...

You are FLEVOLAND.

I Will Consume All: As a man made island, you're jealous of all those other islands and their natural beauty. You have three targets that you yourself must kill throughout the game. If one of your targets are unavailable when you would be given them, your target will be randomly selected instead. You know each one started on a different Island, and you know the first one is ALEUTIAN ISLANDS, and they are here on the same island as you. You have one shot, and one BPV, both of which will be refilled on a successful kill or hammer vote on ALEUTIAN ISLANDS, and you'll integrate some part of their role into your own. You will be informed whenever you are on the same island as your target.

You are allied with Yourself. You win if you manage to kill your three targets. If you fail, however, there may be an alternate way to victory...
It seems that a dastardly Neutral has been slain!
