Captain's Log: 4/18/18
We have managed to reach our heading. An archipelago of three islands. All of our men have successfully made it here alive. With the exception of poor Yeti.
And so the beginning dawns upon Islands Mafia.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boy and Girls, and anyone else that we missed, welcome to Islands Mafia! This unique NOC mafia game is unlike anything you’ve seen before, since almost all of it will take place in PMs!! But first, let’s explain the basis.
This is a NOC, meaning any conversations outside of Host created threads are explicitly banned. However, the thread that is out on Circus Maximus is only to show an overview of the islands. There are three islands in the game, and each island has a unique conversation, hidden to anyone not on that island. Think of it similar to faction forums from Viva, except your island isn’t your faction.
The three islands are Melemele, Akala, and Ula’Ula. Those on one may only interact with others on the same island. Lynches are performed individually on each island, so there are three lynches per lynch phase. However, lynch phases only happen every other day phase, netting only 1.5 lynches per day. Night actions occur as they would in any normal NOC, the one stipulation being you can only target those on the same island as you. Flips will also be delegated to the islands the person is on, although the flips appear in the main thread a full cycle after they died. How do you change islands? Glad you asked!
There are three methods to jumping islands.
Standard Rules Apply. Plurality lynch, with multilynch in cases of ties. 24 hour phases, excluding 48 hour lynch days and 1 hour twilights.

However, with the addition of Nightmare Jigglypuff to our crew, things seem to be proceeding on schedule. I've heard that a number of villainous stowaways have snuck in to our group, however, and have charged my men with sorting them out before they return.Sample Role PM said:Dear Yeti,

If they choose to accept the next night, you lose this ability and gain a Mason Chat with them, along with the ability to hook anyone who visits them at night twice per game. - Leave at the end of the day. This is performed similarly to a lynch, in that you’ll bold it, and it will be public to the entire island that you are leaving them for another island. However, if you change your mind mid-day, you may! Also, if you choose to leave during a lynch phase, you will not be allowed to vote in the lynch, since your vote is to leave the island. For priority reasons, you will leave after the lynch flips, and will be targetable on your new island that night.
- Leave at the end of the night. This is performed similarly to your night action, but unlike leaving at the end of the day, this is not going to be public-island information, and does not require any sort of sacrifice. In addition, anybody who tries to target you at night will follow you to your new island. Those night actions will still succeed, but both you and the person targeting you will now be on the new island.
- Target someone who leaves at night. This one gives you the least control over yourself, but it’s still a method to change islands. Your action will succeed, and you’ll be dragged along on the night ferry over to your target’s new island.
