Worse than Moulin Rouge Pearl Harbor?

By A LOT. It is one of the worst movies ever released. Everything about is is so bad that its hilarious to watch.

It's not the worst movie ever though. Manos: The Hands of Fate is. I love watching horrible movies because they are so accidentally bad that they become comedies. Manos: The Hands of Fate is SO BAD that it just becomes painful to watch. I still have never been able to find someone who was able to watch the full movie in their first try. If you want to try, here's the full version: http://www.archive.org/details/manos_the_hands_of_fate

If you want to watch some movies that are so bad that they are funny:
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Pocket Ninjas
The Room
Troll 2

Ugh, Step Brothers was so overhyped and not really funny. It was your typical Will Ferrell movie we've seen a billion times.

Also Manos: Hands of Fate was done by MST3K so if you want a less painful version watch it with the commentary XD

My favorite movie that I love to hate is Surf Ninjas. They were just trying to feed off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hype (Karate Kid as well?) and it's just so entertaining to watch. The few jokes that are funny are used over and over again until you hate them, as if they wanted to make sure you to hated everything about the movie.

How can I even explain this movie? It's so good, I recommend it to anyone, even if you don't like anime. The plot is great, the art is beautiful, and the characters are intriguing. Something about it is just riveting and deep.

Casablanca
Rick Blaine is the man I wish I could be.

Chinatown-1.jpg

Chinatown
A fantastically made film noir. I love the hard boiled detective films, and this is the best one.

The Seventh Seal
One of the most thought provoking and still emotionally arresting films I have ever seen. Ingmar Bergman is my favorite director and this is probably his most well known work.

spirit-of-the-beehive-bees.jpg

The Spirit of the Beehive
Probably the most obscure film of my post. It's a hauntingly beautiful reflection on the imagination of children. Also, it has incredible cinematography.

Sunset Boulevard
Another film noir, with the subject of Hollywood itself. It's an interesting look at the narcissism of Hollywood, and moreover the script and acting are top notch.

What's with people posting pretty old movies? by old I mean gray scale old. Are you like old movie fans, or lived the generation or something ?_?

Just because films are old or black and white doesn't make them bad. Some of the best films in history were made during the 30s - 50s period.
Other grayscale films aren't even as old as they seem. Chinatown (1974) and Raging Bull (1980) for example.
I'm only 20 and I've seen most of those films that Icepick just posted. You don't have to be old to watch old films, same goes for most media. Are you telling me you've never played any old school arcade games?

i watched furry vengeance last night and it was godawful. the premise was retarded and the animation wasn't even good. there were also a bunch of irrelevant sideplots and general stupidity.

my favourite movies are 2001 and casablanca, both already mentioned in this thread.

i really want to see fight club, clockwork orange, and silence of the lambs within the next few years.

Fight club was done very well in my opinion

it made me act differently for the next few days (contemplating stuff, no longer an aggressor)

(SMZ it doesn't seem your a good movie fan in general)

Why should being old make a movie any less enjoyable?
For me, I can't stand watching gray scale, a little buzzy can tolerate to some extent, but weird colors/gray scale, dunno it just doesn't pull me through, I tried to watch Sin City, and even thought it was "new", I just couldn't stand the grayscale filming. (some shots grayscale it's cool like flashbacks/memories, but whole movie, no thanks), but I guess it doesn't matter for you old movie fans.

largely superficial qualities don't bug everyone. b/w is sometimes the superior medium even in the age of color film, it depends entirely on the film and its atmosphere. for example noirs really do look better in b/w (or at least with dark, stark color schemes). chinatown is a rare exception.

I have a lot of favorites, so I'll just say one. I think that Princess Mononoki (did I spell that right??) was a pretty good movie. The story was well written and it kept my interest throughout. That's all that matters, am I right??

On a different note, can someone give me a link to the firebot forum?? I can't seem to find the link for some reason.

Firebot and Cong were both sent to cryo, and this forum was created in their place.

I absolutely adore Fight Club, I've seen it nigh on twenty times and I still enjoy it, I love some of the cinematography, although it's no blade runner or stalker, I still get a kick whenever Tyler's single frame flashes in the beginning.

Speaking of which, Blade runner is also amazing, what does everyone else think of the whole Deckard is a replicant? I don't buy it.

Most of Miyazaki's films are amazing, I haven't seen them all but the ones I have I've adored.

The Room and Trolls 2 are great for a laugh, I'm really glad I saw them. (awful movies)

Linda Linda Linda is a really great Japanese film.

I really liked The Fall aswell, lovely storytelling.

muffinhead, I see your Uncle Buck and raise you a

Trumps Uncle Buck because Dan Aykroyd is in it and it takes place in Wisconsin.
