[OVERVIEW]

Jirachi's niche in 1v1 stems from the combination of its bulk and Speed tier that allow it to take on multiple top-tier threats, such as Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, and Meloetta, alongside its incredible ability in Serene Grace and the two moves that it uses to take advantage of it. Serene Grace is an important factor to Jirachi's success, as it greatly increases Jirachi's odds of winning matchups that it would otherwise struggle in, such as against Tapu Fini, Kommo-o, Crustle, and Hoopa-U, through multiple flinches. Jirachi also has access to multiple coverage moves that aid it in handling Pokemon that can deal with its STAB attacks like Dragonite, Genesect, and Chansey. Unfortunately, Jirachi's STAB attacks aren't perfectly reliable for every matchup. Any matchup that Jirachi doesn't win by raw type advantage or move power alone are often subject to the random chance of whether or not Jirachi lands a flinch or multiple consecutive flinches. The main examples of this include Mega Charizard Y, Magearna, and Zeraora. Jirachi is also not gifted with the best offensive presence, as multiple top-tier threats like Mega Charizard X, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja resist Jirachi's Steel-type STAB attacks and aren't stopped by its coverage without extraordinary luck.

Moves
========

Iron Head is Jirachi's main STAB move that it uses for dealing with the Fairy-types that occupy 1v1 like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, and its effective 60% flinch chance from Serene Grace allows it to take on opposing Pokemon like Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, Tapunium Z Tapu Fini, and Haxorus that would all normally take Jirachi down before it could do the same to them. Heart Stamp is Jirachi's Psychic-type STAB attack and is mainly used against foes that are weak to it or resist Iron Head and cannot be dispatched by its coverage moves, namely Zeraora, Kommo-o, Mega Venusaur, and Naganadel. Like Iron Head, Heart Stamp is also equipped with a 30% base flinch chance that is doubled to 60% by Serene Grace. Zen Headbutt can be used over Heart Stamp to enable Jirachi to 2HKO Pokemon like Kommo-o and OHKO Naganadel. Fire Punch gives Jirachi a way to deal with Steel-types like Genesect and Ferrothorn that resist both of its STAB attacks. Ice Punch allows Jirachi to 2HKO Dragonite and OHKO Jumpluff. Trick can be used to shut down walls such as Chansey, making them unable to use moves like Soft-Boiled.

Set Details
========

252 Attack EVs make Jirachi's attacks as strong as possible. With 252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature, and a Choice Scarf, Jirachi outpaces Choice Scarf users like Haxorus, Porygon-Z, and Genesect. An Adamant nature can be used over a Jolly nature to help KO Pokemon in one less turn like Naganadel and Kommo-o, as well as 2HKO Mega Medicham; however, Jirachi would be unable to outpace Jolly Choice Scarf Haxorus and Adamant Choice Scarf Garchomp, which can 2HKO it with Earthquake. 4 Special Defense EVs prevent Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost with Download. The ability Serene Grace allows Jirachi to beat many more threats that it couldn't before like Mega Medicham, Primarina, and Tapu Fini with a greater flinch chance on Iron Head and Heart Stamp.

Usage Tips
========

Even though Fire Punch and Ice Punch can hit a lot of Pokemon super effectively, they're only really ideal against moderately bulky Pokemon with dual weaknesses to them like non-Choice Band Dragonite, Genesect, Jumpluff, and Ferrothorn due to Jirachi being too weak to deal significant damage to anything else. Pokemon that Jirachi needs only one flinch to win against such as Naganadel, Mega Medicham, Counter Crustle, and Hoopa-U are good to send it out against; however, if they do move, Jirachi will be OHKOed by their attacks. Pokemon that require more than one flinch but cannot OHKO Jirachi such as Choice Scarf Haxorus, Tapu Fini, and Primarina are also good for Jirachi to take on. Pokemon that Jirachi has to rely on flinching more than once to not get OHKOed such as Garchomp, Choice Band Haxorus and Donphan are not wise to send it out against.

Team Options
========

Jirachi needs partners that can take care of Fire-types like Mega Blaziken, Mega Charizard X, and Mega Charizard Y, and Heatran, so Pokemon like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Haxorus, Primarina, and Tapu Fini are good partners for it. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect, Ferrothorn, and Jumpluff. Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Mega Gardevoir are able to take care of Fighting-types like Sawk and Mega Blaziken. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect and Naganadel for them. Walls like Mega Slowbro and Deoxys-S are able to take on bulky Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magearna. In return, Jirachi can take on Jumpluff for Mega Slowbro and Tapu Fini for Deoxys-S. Pokemon like Porygon-Z, Greninja, Tapu Lele, and Serperior can pressure Ground-types that trouble Jirachi such as Zygarde, Landorus-T, and Donphan from being picked. In return, Jirachi can take on Fighting-types such as Sawk for Porygon-Z and Greninja and take care of Togekiss for Serperior.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Z-Happy Hour set can be used with an EV spread of 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe, a Hasty nature, and the moves of Iron Head, Thunderbolt, and Psychic to help take care of walls like Serperior with Psychic. However, forgoing Fire Punch means Jirachi will lose to Pokemon like Genesect. Thunder Wave with Colbur Berry allows Jirachi to attempt a paraflinching strategy on Dark-types in particular, like Greninja and Hoopa-U; however, Jirachi can no longer take care of Jumpluff and Choice Band Haxorus. Leftovers with Substitute, Thunderbolt, Psyshock, and Calm Mind with an EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe can be used in order to take on passive Pokemon like Chansey; however, Jirachi will be unable to take care of Ferrothorn and Genesect. Steelium Z with Doom Desire can be good to take care of Magearna, but Jirachi can no longer beat Mega Medicham and outpace and take advantage of Iron Head flinches against Choice Scarf Haxorus.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super Effective Attacks**: Fire-, Ground-, or Dark-types like Mega Charizard X, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja are able to take care of Jirachi with their STAB attacks and resist its STAB attacks.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Bulky Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Celesteela, Aegislash, Zygarde-C, Primarina, and Magnezone, as well as walls like Type: Null, Mega Slowbro, and Porygon2, can tank any of Jirachi's attacks and either stall it out or KO it out before it can do the same to them.

**Bypassing Flinches**: There are ways multiple Pokemon can negate Jirachi's flinches, such as through priority like Sucker Punch Mega Mawile and Prankster Sableye and Whimsicott, by outspeeding it like Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf Blacephalon, and through Inner Focus like Mega Gallade.

Jirachi has a good movepool and Speed tier that allows it to run Choice Scarf effectively.
Serene Grace is the only reason why Scarf is run, it's neither the movepool nor the stats.

However, Jirachi struggles against Fire-, Ground- and Dark-types like Heatran, Garchomp and Greninja because of Jirachi being unable to effectively take care of these.
There is no explanation of these matchups whatsoever or the traits that accompany them.

Jirachi also struggles with Dragon-types like Haxorus and Dragonite if it does not get a flinch from Iron Head.
Jirachi beats Scarf Haxorus and is a notable Dragonite check as well, not to mention that it naturally has an edge on Dragon types due to its typing.

* With 252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature and a Choice Scarf lets Jirachi outpace Pokemon like Serperior, Mega Lopunny and Kartana.
These are all outsped without a Jolly nature, there is no logic as to why Jolly is important.

* Jirachi can also try to flinch down Pokemon such as Dragonite, Haxorus, Porygon-Z, Zeraora and Manaphy; however, it is not wise to as if they move, as these can take care of Jirachi.
Besides the lack of legible English this sentence encapsulates that Jirachi's niche is misunderstood. The depth to the flinches or analysis of probability in these matchups is missing and half of these matchups are wrong in the first place. Flinches are what differentiate Jirachi from Pokemon like Mega-Metagross. The fact that they're only briefly mentioned is deeply concerning.

Overall I don't think you understand the niche or usage of the Pokemon in its matchups and on those grounds I have to reject this analysis.

[OVERVIEW]

* Jirachi has a good movepool, Speed tier and Serene Grace that allows it to use Choice Scarf effectively. "Jirachi's niche in 1v1 stems from the combination of its bulk, speed tier, and item selection that allow it to take on multiple top threats in 1v1, such as Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, and Meloetta."
* This is mainly because of Jirachi's ability Serene Grace, as it can try to flinch Pokemon down with Iron Head and Heart Stamp that allows it to take on "Serene Grace is an important benefactor to Jirachi's success, as it greatly increases Jirachi's odds of winning matchups that it would otherwise struggle in, such as" Tapu Fini, Tapu Lele, Meloetta, Adamant Choice Scarf Haxorus and Mega Venusaur "Kommo-o, Crustle, and Hoopa-Unbound".
* Jirachi also has access to elemental punches, which helps Jirachi take on Ferrothorn and Genesect with Fire Punch and Jumpluff with Ice Punch.
* It also has access to Trick which can help against walls like Porygon2 and Chansey because it traps them into the first move it uses and cuts off their recovery.

* "Besides its two STAB moves, Jirachi also has access to multiple coverage moves that aid it in handling Pokemon that can deal with the damage from its STABs like Dragonite, Genesect, and Chansey."
* However, Jirachi is unreible because of relying of flinching down its weakness against Fire-, Ground-, Ghost- and Dark-types like Heatran, Garchomp and Greninja. This is because if Iron Head or Heart Stamp fails to flinch one time, they can take care of Jirachi with their STAB attacks. "Unfortunately, Jirachi's STABs aren't perfectly reliable for every matchup. Any matchups that Jirachi doesn't win by raw type advantage or move power alone are often subject to the random chance of whether or not Jirachi lands a flinch or multiple consecutive flinches. The main examples of this include Mega Charizard-Y, Magearna, and Zeraora."
* Jirachi also struggles against walls like Deoxys-S, Mega Sableye and Mega Slowbro due to one being faster than Jirachi while the other resist both of Jirachi's STAB attacks. "Jirachi is also not gifted with the best offensive presence, as multiple of the top threats in the metagame like Mega Charizard-X, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja resist either or both of Jirachi's STABs and simply aren't stopped by its coverage."
* It also struggles with Dragon-types like Jolly Choice Scarf Haxorus and Garchomp if it does not get two flinches off from Iron Head, they can either 2KO or OHKO Jirachi with Earthquake.

Moves
========

* Iron Head allows Jirachi to to try to get a flinch off of a Pokemon that does not resist its attack such as Haxorus and Serperior as both of these just needs to be flinched twice for Jirachi to win. It is also useful against Fairy-types like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Fini. "Iron Head is Jirachi's main STAB move that it uses for dealing with the Fairy types that occupy 1v1, in addition to having a 30% flinch chance that gets doubled to 60% by Serene Grace, allowing it to take on opposing Pokemon like Normalium Z Porygon-Z, Tapu Fini, and non-Choice Band Haxorus that would all normally take Jirachi down before it could do the same to them without flinching."
* Heart Stamp is used when Iron Head is resisted, and take care of Pokemon like Zeraora and as long as it flinches Zeraora twice. It is also useful to take down Poison-and Fighting-types like Naganadel, Mega Venusaur, Kommo-o and Sawk. "Heart Stamp is Jirachi's Psychic STAB and is mainly used for when it's super effective or Iron Head is resisted and its coverage moves fail to dispatch the opponent, namely in the cases of Zeraora, Kommo-o, Mega Venusaur, and Naganadel. Like Iron Head, Heart Stamp is also equipped with a 30% base flinch chance which is then doubled to 60% by Serene Grace."
* Fire Punch gives Jirachi a way to deal with Steel-types like Genesect and Ferrothorn "that would otherwise resist both of its STABs".
* Ice Punch allows Jirachi to OHKO Jumpluff and non-choice Scarf Landorus from full Landorus-I simply isn't relevant enough for mention, let alone how you still don't beat all of its sets- "in addition to 2HKOing non-Choice Band Dragonite".
* Trick can be used to trap walls such as Chansey and Porygon2 to the first move they pick, which makes unable to use Recover.

Set Details
========

* 252 Attack EVs makes Jirachi's attacks as strong as possible.
* With 252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature and a Choice Scarf lets Jirachi outpace Pokemon like Haxorus, Porygon-Z and Genesect.
* 4 SpD EVs prevents Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost with Download.
* An Adamant nature can be used to get faster deaths when spamming Iron Head and Heart Stamp. Jirachi also now has a low chance of OHKOing Garchomp from full with Ice Punch. However, Jirachi can no longer outpace Choice Scarf Pokemon like Jolly nature Haxorus.
* The ability Serene Grace makes Iron Head and Heart Stamp have a greater chance of flinching down Pokemon it cannot beat well without it such as Choice Band Haxorus and Zeraora.

Usage Tips
========

* Pick Jirachi against Fairy-types such as Tapu Lele, Primarina, and Tapu Bulu as Iron Head will be able to take care of them. "Jirachi's best matchups are ideally against Pokemon that are either physically frail, weak to either of Jirachi's STABs, incapable of dealing lethal damage to Jirachi, or any combination of the three, such as Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta, and Kommo-o."
* Use Jirachi against Poison-types like Mega Venusaur and Naganadel as Heart Stamp will be able to take care of these. "Even though Fire Punch and Ice Punch can hit a lot of Pokemon super effectively, they're only really ideal against moderately bulky Pokemon with dual weaknesses to them like non-Choice Band Dragonite, Genesect, Jumpluff, and Ferrothorn due to Jirachi being too weak to deal significant damage to anything else."
* With Ice Punch, Jirachi is able to beat Jumpluff, Dragonite or non-Choice Scarf Landorus, so pick Jirachi if you think the opponent is picking it. Make this a bullet point about how Jirachi has several matchups that rely on it securing a flinch on the first turn, or else it gets OHKOd, with examples.
* Jirachi can also take on Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Genesect thanks to Fire Punch. Make this a bullet point about how there are multiple Pokemon that require more than one flinch, but simply aren't capable of reliably OHKOing Jirachi with just a single free turn, with examples.
* Use Jirachi against frail Pokemon like Mega Lopunny, Meloetta, Porygon-Z and Mega Pinsir as Heart Stamp and Iron Head will take care of these. Make this a bullet point about how there are multiple Pokemon that require more than one flinch and actually can OHKO Jirachi, with examples. For reference, two flinches is 36%, three is 21.6%, and anything more than that is simply just too unreliable to be worth mention.
* Jirachi can also try to flinch down Pokemon such as Garchomp and Zeraora; however, it is not wise to as if Iron Head or Heart Stamp fails to flinch once, they can take care of Jirachi with Earthquake or Z-Plasma Fists.
* Do not pick Jirachi against bulky Pokemon like Mega Metagross, Registeel and Magearna as Jirachi fails to take care of these because of being able to take FIre Punch and use Earthquake or stall Jirachi to beat it.
* Do not pick Jirachi when there is a Landorus-T, as if Jirachi fails to flinch it four times, it will be OHKOed by Landorus-T Earthquake.
* Be sure not to use Jirachi aganst bulky-Water types like Manaphy and Mega Gyarados as Jirachi fails to get take care of these effectively if Manaphy is able to move twice and Mega Gyarados moves once.
* Be sure not to pick Jirachi against walls like Mega Slowbro, Mew, Mega Sableye and Deoxys-S as Jirachi fails to take care of these due to Iron Defense, Will-O-Wisp, or being able to outpace Jirachi and set up.
* If there is a Fire- Ground-, Ghost- or Dark-type in preview, such as Mega Charizard X or Y, Donphan, Aegislash or Greninja be careful about picking Jirachi as if it fails to flinch these Pokemon till they get KOed, it will be OHKOed by their super-effective STAB attacks.

I don't blame you for most of these, as a lot of people basically make usage tips into a combination of Moves and Checks and Counters, rather than giving many actual tips, even though they shouldn't.

Team Options
========

* Jirachi needs partners that can take care of Fire-types like Mega Blaziken, Mega Charizard X and Y, and Heatran so Pokemon like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Haxorus, and Tapu Fini are good partners for it. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect, Ferrotorn and Jumpluff for these.
* Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Mega Gardevoir are good partners for Jirachi as they are able to take care of Dark-types like Hoopa-U and Greninja. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect and Naganadel for them.
* Walls like Mega Slowbro and Deoxys-S are able to take on bulky Steel-types like Mega Metagross and Magearna. In return, Jirachi can take on Jumpluff for Mega Slowbro and Tapu Fini for Deoxys-S.
* Pokemon like Porygon-Z, Greninja, and Serperior can pressure Ground-types that trouble Jirachi such as Zygarde, Landorus-T and Donphan from being picked. In return, Jirachi can take on Fighting-types such as Sawk for Porygon-Z and Greninja while taking care of Togekiss for Serperior.

* Z-happy hour can be used with a spread of 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe with the moves of Iron Head, Thunderbolt and Psychic to help take care of walls like Mega Slowbro with Thunderbolt. However, it will lose to Pokemon like Genesect because of not running Fire Punch.
* Thunder Wave with Colbur Berry allows Jirachi to try to go for paraflinches on Pokemon like Greninja and Hoopa-U; however Jirachi can no longer take care of Jumpluff or Choice Band Haxorus.
* Leftovers with Substitute, Thunderbolt, Psyshock and Calm Mind with the EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe can be used in order to take on passive Pokemon like Togekiss and Celesteela, however it will be unable to take care of Ferrothorn and Genesect now.
* Steelium Z with Doom Desire can be good to be able to take care of Magearna, however, Jirachi now loses to Mega Lopunny because of not being Choice Scarf.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super-effective attacks**: Pokemon that are Fire-, Ground-, or Dark-type like Mega Charizard X, Zygarde-C "Mega Gyarados," and Greninja are able to take care of Jirachi with their STAB attacks if they do not get flinched down from full with Iron Head or Heart Stamp. "and either resist Jirachi's STABs or are bulky enough that Jirachi would require an improbable number of flinches in order to win."

**Bulky Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Metagross and Magearna ", Celesteela, Aegislash, and Magnezone" can tank any of Jirachi's attack and use Earthquake / Bulldoze if Mega Metagross while Magearna can use Iron Defense + Pain Split to stall Jirachi out of moves or HP. "either stall Jirachi down or knock it out before it can do the same to them."

**Bulky Pokemon**: Sufficiently bulky Pokemon like Zygarde-C, Primarina, Mega Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Serperior can just outright withstand Jirachi's STABs and coverage and either KO it or set up a win condition.

**Walls**: Jirachi is unable to take care of walls like Mega Sableye "Type:Null", Mega Slowbro and Deoxys-S "Porygon2" because of being able to take Jirachi's attacks and either Will-O-Wisp it with Mega Sableye or with Mega Slowbro and Deoxys-S set up with Iron Defense and stall it out. "eventually stall it down."

**Bypassing flinches**: There are multiple Pokemon with ways to negate Jirachi's flinches, such as through priority with Sucker Punch Mega Mawile and Prankster Sableye and Whimsicott, by outspeeding it with Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf Blacephalon, and even Pokemon with Inner Focus like Mega Gallade.

The writing for this analysis was overall poor quality for any combination of these three reasons:

1. You tend to make Moves/Checks and Counters out of sections that aren't Moves or Checks and Counters (again, this is a common mistake that a lot of people make, but still a mistake, nonetheless)

2. You either aren't explaining enough to make sure the point you're trying to make is clearly presented OR you're just outright missing crucial information (namely information about flinching (JIRACHI'S JOB) in this case).

3. You often include the right Pokemon as examples for the wrong reason (see: Tapu Lele and Meloetta as a reason for Serene Grace being good) or occasionally are just outright wrong (stating you can beat Serperior, stating that sableye "resists" Jirachi's STABs)

Let me know when you've implemented everything and I'll double check.

- To make things clearer, the first bullet in my screenshot above is about Pokemon that Jirachi only needs a single flinch in order to beat, but can OHKO you, like Naganadel, Mega Medicham, Counter Crustle, Hoopa-Unbound, etc. Be sure to add that bullet, as it's presently missing.
- The second bullet you at least covered with the scarf hax/fini/prima bullet I quoted (you spelled primarina right!!!).
- You have the right idea with the chomp/band hax/donphan bullet, but forgot to mention the odds of success which I provided you.
- You forgot to get rid of the bullet that I crossed out in the quote
**Bulky Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Celesteela, Aegislash, and Magnezone can tank any of Jirachi's attack and either stall Jirachi down or knock it out before it can do the same to them.
You deleted the mega metagross for some reason, even though I didn't tell you to-

* Trick can be used to trap walls such as Chansey and Porygon2 to the first move they pick, which makes unable to use Recover.

Set Details

* With 252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature and a Choice Scarf lets Jirachi outpace Pokemon like Haxorus, Porygon-Z and Genesect.
* 4 SpD EVs prevents Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost with Download, for Choice Scarf Genesect.
mention jolly and adamant
* The ability Serene Grace makes Iron Head and Heart Stamp have a greater chance of flinching.

Usage Tips

* Jirachi's best matchups are ideally against Pokemon that are either physically frail, weak to either of Jirachi's STABs, incapable of dealing lethal damage to Jirachi, or any combination of the three, such as Porygon-Z, Tapu Lele, Meloetta, and Kommo-o thats pretty obvious, no?
* Even though Fire Punch and Ice Punch can hit a lot of Pokemon super effectively, they're only really ideal against moderately bulky Pokemon with dual weaknesses to them like non-Choice Band Dragonite, Genesect, Jumpluff, and Ferrothorn due to Jirachi being too weak to deal significant damage to anything else.

* Pokemon that require more than one flinch, but cannot OHKO Jirachi such as Choice Scarf Haxorus, Tapu Fini and Primarina are good for Jirachi to take on.
* Pokemon that Jirachi has to rely on flinching more than once such as Garchomp, Choice Band Haxorus and Donphan are not wise to send it out against as it is only a 36% chance of getting two flinches on Garchomp and Haxorus while its it a 21.6% chance to flinch Donphan three times. As If Jirachi fails to flinch them with Iron Head, these Pokemon will OHKO it.

Team Options

* Jirachi needs partners that can take care of Fire-types like Mega Blaziken, Mega Charizard X and Y, and Heatran so Pokemon like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Haxorus, Primarina, and Tapu Fini are good partners for it. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect, Ferrothorn and Jumpluff for these.
* Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Mega Gardevoir are good partners for Jirachi as they are able to take care of Dark-types like Hoopa-U and Greninja not really? these guys run gunk shot. maybe replace with specific fighting types like sawk and mega blaziken? .
* Pokemon like Porygon-Z, Greninja, Tapu Lele, and Serperior can pressure Ground-types that trouble Jirachi such as Zygarde, Landorus-T and Donphan from being picked.

* Leftovers with Substitute, Thunderbolt, Psyshock and Calm Mind with the EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe can be used in order to take on passive Pokemon like Togekiss jirachi never struggles with togekiss and Celesteela, however it will be unable to take care of Ferrothorn and Genesect now.
* Steelium Z with Doom Desire can be good to be able to take care of Magearna.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super-effective attacks**: Pokemon that are Fire-, Ground-, or Dark-type like Mega Charizard X, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja are able to take care of Jirachi with their STAB attacks and either resist Jirachi's STABs or are bulky enough that Jirachi would require an improbable number of flinches in order to win.

**Bulky Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-type Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Celesteela, Aegislash, and Magnezone can tank any of Jirachi's attack and either stall Jirachi down or knock it out before it can do the same to them.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Sufficiently bulky Pokemon like Zygarde-C, Primarina, Mega Tyranitar i would remove this since iron head is a guaranteed 3hko and bulky crunch isn't guaranteed, Garchomp, and Serperior can just outright withstand Jirachi's STABs and coverage and either KO it or set up a win condition.

**Walls**: Jirachi is unable to take care of walls like Type:Null, Mega Slowbro and Prorygon2 because of being able to take Jirachi's attacks and eventually stall it down.

* Besides its two STAB moves, Jirachi also has access to multiple coverage moves that aid it in handling Pokemon that can deal with the damage from its STABs like Dragonite, Genesect, and Chansey.
* Unfortunately, Jirachi's STABs aren't perfectly reliable for every matchup. Any matchups that Jirachi doesn't win by raw type advantage or move power alone are often subject to the random chance of whether or not Jirachi lands a flinch or multiple consecutive flinches. The main examples of this include Mega Charizard-Y, Magearna, and Zeraora

* Iron Head is Jirachi's main STAB move that it uses for dealing with the Fairy types that occupy 1v1 like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, in addition to having a 30% flinch chance that gets doubled to 60% by Serene Grace, allowing it to take on opposing Pokemon like Normalium Z Porygon-Z, Tapu Fini, and Haxorus that would all normally take Jirachi down before it could do the same to them without flinching
* Heart Stamp is Jirachi's Psychic STAB and is mainly used for when it's super effective or Iron Head is resisted and its coverage moves fail to dispatch the opponent, namely in the cases of Zeraora, Kommo-o, Mega Venusaur, and Naganadel. Like Iron Head, Heart Stamp is also equipped with a 30% base flinch chance which is then doubled to 60% by Serene Grace.
* Zen Headbutt can be used over Heart Stamp to make Jirachi be able to 2HKO Pokemon like Kommo-o and OHKO Naganadel.
* Fire Punch gives Jirachi a way to deal with Steel-types like Genesect and Ferrothorn that would otherwise resist both of its STABs.
* Ice Punch allows Jirachi to 2HKOing non-Choice Band Dragonite and OHKO Jumpluff.
* Trick can be used to trap walls such as Chansey and Porygon2 to the first move they pick, which makes unable to use Recover.

Usage Tips
========

* Even though Fire Punch and Ice Punch can hit a lot of Pokemon super effectively, they're only really ideal against moderately bulky Pokemon with
dual weaknesses to them like non-Choice Band Dragonite, Genesect, Jumpluff, and Ferrothorn due to Jirachi being too weak to deal significant damage to anything else.
* Pokemon that need only flinch to win such as Naganadel, Mega Medicham, Counter Crustle, and Hoopa-Unbound are good to send Jirachi out agianst due to having a 60% chance to flinch them, however, if they do move, Jirachi will be OHKOed by their attacks.

Serene Grace is an important benefactor to Jirachi's success, as it greatly increases Jirachi's odds of winning matchups that it would otherwise struggle in, such as against Tapu Fini, Kommo-o, Crustle, and Hoopa-U, (AC) through multiple flinches. Besides its two STAB moves, Jirachi also has access to multiple coverage moves that aid it in handling Pokemon that can deal with the damage from its STAB attacks like Dragonite, Genesect, and Chansey. Unfortunately, Jirachi's STAB attacks aren't perfectly reliable for every matchup. Any matchups that Jirachi doesn't win by raw type advantage or move power alone are often subject to the random chance of whether or not Jirachi lands a flinch or multiple consecutive flinches. The main examples of this include Mega Charizard Y, (RH) Magearna, and Zeraora. (AP) Jirachi is also not gifted with the best offensive presence, as multiple of the top-tier threats in the metagame like Mega Charizard X, (RH) Mega Gyarados, and Greninja resist Jirachi's Steel-type STAB attacks and simply aren't stopped by its coverage (RC) without extraordinary luck.

Moves

Iron Head is Jirachi's main STAB move that it uses for dealing with the Fairy-types (AH) that occupy 1v1 like Mega Gardevoir and Tapu Lele, in addition to having a 30% and its effective 60% flinch chance that gets doubled to 60% by from Serene Grace (RC) allowing allows it to take on opposing Pokemon like Choice Scarf Porygon-Z, Tapunium Z Tapu Fini, and Haxorus that would all normally take Jirachi down before it could do the same to them without flinching. Heart Stamp is Jirachi's Psychic STAB attack and is mainly used for when it's super effective against foes that are weak to it or resist Iron Head is resisted and cannot be dispatched by its coverage moves fail to dispatch the opponent, namely in the cases of Zeraora, Kommo-o, Mega Venusaur, and Naganadel. Like Iron Head, Heart Stamp is also equipped with a 30% base flinch chance which that is then doubled to 60% by Serene Grace. Zen Headbutt can be used over Heart Stamp to make enable Jirachi be able to 2HKO Pokemon like Kommo-o and OHKO Naganadel. Fire Punch gives Jirachi a way to deal with Steel-types like Genesect and Ferrothorn that would otherwise resist both of its STAB attacks. Ice Punch allows Jirachi to 2HKO Dragonite and OHKO Jumpluff. Trick can be used to trap shut down walls such as Chansey to the first move they pick, which makes it making them unable to use moves like Soft-Boiled.

252 Attack EVs makes make Jirachi's attacks as strong as possible. With 252 Speed EVs, a Jolly nature, (AC) and a Choice Scarf, (AC) lets Jirachi outpace outpaces Choice Scarf Pokemon like Choice Scarf Haxorus, Porygon-Z, (AC) and Genesect. An Adamant nature can be used over a Jolly nature to help KO Pokemon in less turns (to have a better chance of KOing Pokemon like? not sure how else to read this, rn it suggests it's a difference of 4 turns vs 5 turns which doesnt seem right) like Naganadel, Kommo-o and 2HKO Mega Medicham; however, (AC) now it Jirachi cannot outpace Jolly nature Choice Scarf Haxorus and Adamant Choice Scarf Garchomp, which can 2HKO Jirachi it with Earthquake. Having 4 Special Defense EVs prevents prevent Choice Specs Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost with Download. The ability Serene Grace makes Iron Head and Heart Stamp have a greater chance of flinching, allowing it allows Jirachi to beat many more threats that it couldn't before like Mega Medicham, Primarina, (AC) and Tapu Fini with a greater flinch chance on Iron Head and Heart Stamp.

Usage Tips
========

Pokemon that Jirachi needs only one flinch to win against such as Naganadel, Mega Medicham, Counter Crustle, and Hoopa-Unbound are good to send Jirachi it out agianst against due to having a 60% chance to flinch them; (SC) however, if they do move, Jirachi will be OHKOed by their attacks. Pokemon that require more than one flinch (RC) but cannot OHKO Jirachi such as Choice Scarf Haxorus, Tapu Fini, (AC) and Primarina are also good for Jirachi to take on. Pokemon that Jirachi has to rely on flinching more than once to not get OHKOed such as Garchomp, Choice Band Haxorus and Donphan are not wise to send it out against as it is only a 36% chance of getting two flinches on Garchomp and Haxorus while its it a 21.6% chance to flinch Donphan three times. As If Jirachi fails to flinch them with Iron Head, these Pokemon will OHKO it.

Team Options
========

Jirachi needs partners that can take care of Fire-types like Mega Blaziken, Mega Charizard X and Y, and Heatran, (AC) so Pokemon like Landorus-T, Garchomp, Haxorus, Primarina, and Tapu Fini are good partners for it. In return, Jirachi can take care of Genesect, Ferrotorn Ferrothorn, (AC) and Jumpluff for these. Fairy-types like Tapu Lele and Mega Gardevoir are good partners for Jirachi as they are able to take care of Fighting-types like Sawk and Mega Blaziken. Pokemon like Porygon-Z, Greninja, Tapu Lele, and Serperior can pressure Ground-types that trouble may discourage (or just "that trouble" and remove "from being picked") Jirachi such as Zygarde, Landorus-T, (AC) and Donphan from being picked. In return, Jirachi can take on Fighting-types such as Sawk for Porygon-Z and Greninja while taking and take care of Togekiss for Serperior.

Other Options
=============

A Z-Happy Hour set can be used with an EV spread of 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe, a Hasty nature, (AC) with and the moves of Iron Head, Thunderbolt and Psychic to help take care of walls like Seperior Serperior with Psychic. However, it forgoing Fire Punch means Jirachi will lose to Pokemon like Genesect because of not running Fire Punch. Thunder Wave with Colbur Berry allows Jirachi to try to go for paraflinches attempt a paraflinching strategy on Pokemon Dark-types especially in particular, like Greninja and Hoopa-U; however, (AC) Jirachi can no longer take care of Jumpluff or Choice Band Haxorus. Leftovers with Substitute, Thunderbolt, Psyshock, (AC) and Calm Mind with the an EV spread of 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe can be used in order to take on passive Pokemon like Chansey; (SC) however, (AC) it Jirachi will be unable to take care of Ferrothorn and Genesect now. Steelium Z with Doom Desire can be good to be able to take care of Magearna, but Jirachi can no longer beat Mega Medicham or outpace and take advantage of Iron Head flinches against Adamant Choice Scarf Haxorus due to not having flinch chances with Iron Head.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Super Effective (RH) Attacks**: Pokemon that are Fire, Ground, or Dark type (RH) like Mega Charizard X, Mega Gyarados, and Greninja are able to take care of Jirachi with their STAB attacks and either resist Jirachi's STAB attacks or are bulky enough that Jirachi would require an improbable number of flinches in order to win.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Bulky Pokemon such as Mega Metagross, Celesteela, Aegislash, Zygarde-C, Primarina, Garchomp, and Serperior, (AC) and Magnezone can tank any of Jirachi's attack attacks and either stall Jirachi down it out or knock it out before it can do the same to them. Similarly, Jirachi is unable to take care of walls like Type:(space)Null, Mega Slowbro, (AC) and Prorygon2 Porygon2 because of being they are able to take Jirachi's attacks and eventually stall it down. (any reason these warrant a separate sentence rather than being folded into the previous one?)

**Bypassing Flinches**: There are multiple Pokemon with ways to negate Jirachi's flinches, such as through priority with like Sucker Punch Mega Mawile and Prankster Sableye and Whimsicott, by outspeeding it with like Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf Blacephalon, and even Pokemon with through Inner Focus like Mega Gallade.
