[OVERVIEW]

Jolteon's high Speed and Special stats and critical hit rate make its Thunderbolt a big threat. Because of this, Jolteon is able to outpace the whole metagame and is one of the few Pokemon that can revenge kill a weakened Tauros. It is also a good lead because of its ability to force a lead Starmie to switch out with Thunderbolt and paralyze other leads like Alakazam, Exeggutor, and Jynx with Thunder Wave. Jolteon also has an important defensive niche that allows it to be one of the few Pokemon to take on Zapdos comfortably due to resisting both of its STAB options as well as put pressure on Water-types like Slowbro and Cloyster with Thunderbolt. While Pokemon like Chansey, Exeggutor, and Alakazam can take Jolteon's Thunderbolt, it can cripple these Pokemon with Thunder Wave. However, outside of its STAB move, Jolteon does not have any other good attacking moves, as it only has two good options in Pin Missile and Double Kick, which fail to do major damage outside of a potential critical hit even on super effective targets like Exeggutor and Chansey due to Jolteon's low Attack stat. Furthermore, Jolteon is unable to deal with Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem, as it cannot do any good damage to them with any of its attacks and gets OHKOed by Earthquake.

Set Description

Thunder Wave allows Jolteon to cripple its defensive checks such as Alakazam, Chansey, and Exeggutor that commonly come in on its Thunderbolt. It is also good to use against Tauros, as it is no longer a threat once it's paralyzed. Thunderbolt takes care of Water-types like Starmie and Slowbro and can do a lot of damage to Pokemon that don't resist it if Jolteon lands a critical hit. Double Kick scares out Chansey because it is 2HKOed on a critical hit. Double Kick also allows Jolteon to have a way to get damage on Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem as a last resort, though Jolteon should switch out if it predicts them to switch in to help keep damage off of itself and its teammates. Rest allows Jolteon to get HP back and cure itself of paralysis, which is useful against Pokemon like Chansey, Starmie, and Zapdos; however, outside of these Pokemon, Jolteon will find it hard to use Rest, as the move is more useful late-game, and putting Jolteon to sleep allows Tauros to come in safety. Pin Missile gives Jolteon a way to deal with Grass-types such as Exeggutor, as it will deal major damage if it lands a critical hit on them. If Jolteon is being used as a lead, the best move to start the game is Thunder Wave in order to slow down opposing leads like Jynx, Exeggutor, and Alakazam; however, Jolteon must be careful, as this can lead to it being put to sleep with Lovely Kiss or Sleep Powder or paralyzed from Thunder Wave or Stun Spore. Because of its poor bulk, the best way to have Jolteon come in safely is against Pokemon like Chansey, on a predicted switch, or when a Pokemon faints. Jolteon should be saved to use late-game because of its Speed, as it can pick off most weakened Pokemon with Thunderbolt. Jolteon will need Pokemon like Exeggutor and Starmie on the team because it struggles against common Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem. Pokemon that can also help with Snorlax and Tauros like Cloyster and Exeggutor are needed.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Jolteon can run Agility to get its Speed back if it gets paralyzed; however, it will have to give up Rest or Pin Missile in order to run it, which makes it lose the ability to hit Exeggutor more effectively or get HP back on passive Pokemon. Thunder is a more powerful move that allows Jolteon to OHKO Cloyster and Tauros on a critical hit; however, the miss chance and lower PP make it hard to justify using it over Thunderbolt or over Rest or Pin Missile. Body Slam can be run over Rest or Pin Missile to try to paralyze Rhydon and Golem as they switch in; however, it is redundant otherwise, as Thunder Wave is able to paralyze Pokemon like Alakazam and Exeggutor as is.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rhydon and Golem**: Both Rhydon and Golem wall Jolteon, as they're immune to Thunderbolt and Double Kick fails to do any major damage to them, while they OHKO it back with Earthquake.

**Chansey and Snorlax**: Thanks to Chansey's special bulk, it can tank Jolteon's Thunderbolt and Double Kick as long as the latter doesn't land a critical hit. Then, Chansey can use Thunder Wave to paralyze Jolteon, as this makes it easier for Chansey's teammates to take care of it; however, on its own, Chansey will lose in the long run against Jolteon. Jolteon should never switch into Snorlax, as Body Slam and Hyper Beam will do a lot of damage to it and cripple Jolteon for the rest of the game. Even if Jolteon gets in safely from a Pokemon fainting or a predicted switch, Snorlax can tank a Thunderbolt and take out Jolteon with Earthquake.

**Exeggutor and Victreebel**: Without Pin Missile, Jolteon cannot take care of Grass-types, as Thunderbolt fails to do a lot of damage to them.

**Paralysis:**: Without Rest, Jolteon cannot get rid of paralysis, which hinders it from sweeping late-game and makes it easy for Pokemon like Snorlax to take care of it.

Jolteon has a high Speed stat and high critical chance rate, which makes Jolteon able to outpace most Pokemon like Alakazam, Jynx, and Starmie. Jolteon is a good late game clean up sweeper as it can pick off Pokemon that have been weakened or paralyzed late game with Thunderbolt. It can also be a good lead Pokemon thanks to its Speed allowing it to use Thunder Wave to paralyze common leads like Alakazam and Exeggutor its main niche as a lead is beating up starmie. However, Jolteon cannot switch into physical attacks from Pokemon like Tauros, as it will lose about half of its HP. It also has trouble with Grass-types like Exeggutor and Victreebel because of Pin Missile needing a critical hit in order to do major damage to it due to Jolteon's low Attack stat. It also has trouble with Rhydon and Golem as Jolteon's Double Kick fails to do significant damage to them. Jolteon also has a hard time dealing with bulky Pokemon like Snorlax and Chansey because of Snorlax tanking a hit and OHKO with Earthquake it does like 70? idk where u got this from, still 2hkos with ease though and with Chansey's massive Special Defense bulk allowing to it to soak up Thunderbolt you never really tbolt chansey anyway but rather fish for dkick crits, rest jolt even 1v1s chansey especially boltbeam. mention how its a great zapdos check and also a great slowbro check because its 1/4 crits ohko it

Thunder Wave allows it to slow down fast Pokemon like Alakazam and Gengar mention tauros, arguably most important twave target. Thunderbolt good STAB and takes care of Starmie and Slowbro and does a lot of damage if it lands a critical hit on a Pokemon that does not resist its attack. Double Kick allows Jolteon to have a way to get damage on Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem jolteon would generally rather double on rocks than dkick as the damage isnt worth having to switch into a rhydon eq for example, u mostly dkick them as a last ditch effort and scare out Chansey because on a critical hit, it gets 2HKOed if it is not running Reflect. Using Pin Missile gives Jolteon a way to deal with Grass-types Exeggutor and Victreebel as it will deal major damage if Jolteon lands a critical hit on them. Rest allows Jolteon to get HP back and take off paralysis which is useful to do against more passive Pokemon like Chansey mention how it doesnt rly rest up on anything bar mie/zap/chans and it gets tauros free turns so its mainly useful to win endgames. If Jolteon is a lead, the best move to start the game with Thunder Wave to slow down oppsing leads like Jynx, Exeggutor and Alakazam; however, Jolteon must be careful as it is risking getting put to sleep with Lovely Kiss or Sleep Powder or getting paralyzed from Thunder Wave or Stun Spore. The best way to allow Jolteon is on Pokemon like Chansey on a predicted switch, or when a Pokemon faints because of its frail bulk. Jolteon should never try to switch into Snorlax or Tauros as Jolteon will lose a lot of health u already mentioned this in overview Jolteon should be saved to use near the endgame, this is because with its Speed, it can pick off most weakened Pokemon with Thunderbolt. Jolteon will need Pokemon like Exeggutor and Starmie on the team because Jolteon struggles against common Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem. Pokemon that can also help with Snorlax and Tauros are needed so Pokemon like Cloyster and Exeggutor are good partners for it. mention how twaving chansey/egg is a big deal & how you want to double out on rocks to avoid giving them free turns;

[OVERVIEW]

Jolteon has a high Speed stat and high critical chance rate, which makes Jolteon able to outpace Pokemon like Alakazam, Jynx, and Starmie. Jolteon is a good late game clean up sweeper as it can pick off Pokemon that have been weakened or paralyzed late game with Thunderbolt. It can also be a good lead Pokemon thanks to its Speed allowing it to stop Starmie from doing anything as it fears Thunderbolt and also able to use Thunder Wave to paralyze other leads like Alakazam and Exeggutor. Jolteon is also a good defensive check to Zapdos becuase it can take its STAB attack well. Jolteon is also a good Slowbro check as Thunderbolt on a critical hit can OHKO Slowbro. However, Jolteon cannot switch into physical attacks from Pokemon like Tauros, as it will lose about half of its HP. It also has trouble with Grass-types like Exeggutor because of Pin Missile needing a critical hit in order to do major damage to it due to Jolteon's low Attack stat. It also has trouble with Rhydon and Golem as Jolteon's Double Kick fails to do significant damage to them. Jolteon also has a hard time dealing with bulky Pokemon like Snorlax and Chansey because of Snorlax tanking a hit and 2HKOs with Earthquake while Chansey's massive Special Defense bulk allowing to it to soak up Thunderbolt and Chansey is only scared of being critted by Jolteon's Double Kick.
This is a good list of Jolteon's qualities but it fails to stress on the really important ones and differentiate between things that dictate its viability and things that are just added details. I would try to reorder and reword this paragraph so that it covers all the general qualities and shortcomings in a more coherent and understandable way while filtering out less of the stuff that doesn't need to be in the introduction. I more or less want to see a paragraph form of the following bullet points (which you would need to elaborate on a little):
- Jolteon's high Speed and Special makes its Thunderbolt fairly dangerous; the ability to outspeed and revengekill a weakened Tauros is very rare and valuable
- It has an important defensive niche in that it can take on Zapdos, something that not too many other pokemon can do comfortably, and it also has immense offensive pressure on Water-types
- It lacks significant coverage outside of Electric STAB which means its other attacking options (Pin Missile, Double Kick) aren't great and don't do too much to improve its negative match ups. However access to Thunder Wave gives Jolteon the utility to cripple some of the things that would have no problems with Thunderbolt (Chansey, Exeggutor, Alakazam) which leaves Rhydon and Golem as the most reliable answers
- Briefly mention the ability to lead due to a great Starmie match up and access to Thunder Wave for all other match ups

You don't need to elaborate too much on specific match ups in the introduction. Focus on what Jolteon itself does and especially on its unique qualities rather than how the metagame answers it, you mention stuff like Earthquakes 2HKOing but it can be left for later stages of the analysis and it ends up making everything more readable

Thunder Wave allows it to slow down fast Pokemon like Alakazam and Tauros. It is also good to Thunder Wave common checks to Jolteon such as Chansey and Exeggutor as this makes them easier to be taken care of by it thanks to its high critical hit chance. Thunderbolt good STAB and takes care of Starmie and Slowbro and does a lot of damage if it lands a critical hit on a Pokemon that does not resist its attack. Double Kick allows Jolteon to have a way to get damage on Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem as a last resort, but it should switch out on a predicted switch to another Pokemon to help keep damage off Jolteon and its teammates. Double Kick also scares out Chansey because on a critical hit, it gets 2HKOed if it is not running Reflect. Using Pin Missile gives Jolteon a way to deal with Grass-types such as Exeggutor as Pin Missile will deal major damage if Jolteon lands a critical hit on them. Rest allows Jolteon to get HP back and take off paralysis which is useful to use against passive Pokemon like Chansey, Starmie and Zapdos, however outside of these Pokemon Jolteon will find it hard to use Rest as it is more useful during the end game because this makes Tauros come in safety because of Jolteon being asleep. If Jolteon is a lead, the best move to start the game with Thunder Wave to slow down opposing leads like Jynx, Exeggutor and Alakazam; however, Jolteon must be careful as it is risking getting put to sleep with Lovely Kiss or Sleep Powder or getting paralyzed from Thunder Wave or Stun Spore. Thunder Wave section needs to be rewritten. You have the ideal targets for it right (Chansey, Exeggutor, Tauros, Alakazam) but you don't really explain why those are the ideal targets. Chansey, Exeggutor, and Alakazam are defensive answers to Jolteon that don't mind taking a Thunderbolt, so they are good targets because Thunder Wave is Jolteon's main weapon to cripple them permanently. Meanwhile Tauros is a good Thunder Wave target because it takes a lot of its power from being able to move before opponents, and Paralysis removes that strength permanently.

Double Kick's main use is to scare Chansey - move that sentence first, the damage on Rhydon and Golem is an afterthought more than anything. Also, remove the Reflect mention, as critical hits ignore Reflect's defense boost.

The rest of the content is good. The grammar is off in a few places but fixing it is not my job - see if you can improve it by yourself before the GP team arrives though

Jolteon can run Agility to get its Speed back if it gets paralyzed, however will have to give up Pin Missile / Rest in order to run it which makes Jolteon loses the ability to hit Exeggutor more effectively with Pin Missile or using Rest to help get HP back. Thunder is a more powerful move that allows Jolteon to 2HKO Tauros; however, the miss chance and lower PP makes it hard to justify to use over Thunderbolt.
Thunder has good chances to OHKO Tauros on a critical hit and it also hits a clean OHKO on Cloyster - mention these two ranges. Saying that it's hard to justify over Thunderbolt is correct but you should add that you can run Thunder alongside Thunderbolt by dropping Rest or Pin Missile.

You could mention Body Slam for the ability to paralyze Rhydon or Golem on the switch-in, but make sure to clarify that it's very redundant with Thunder Wave on all other targets.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rhydon and Golem**: Both Rhydon and Golem wall Jolteon, as Double Kick fails to do any major damage to them as is immune to Thunderbolt.

**Chansey and Snorlax**: Thanks to Chansey's Special Defense bulk, it can tank Jolteon's Thunderbolt and can tank Double Kick as long as it does not crit. Jolteon should never switch into Snorlax as its attacks will do a lot of damage to Jolteon and make it hard to use for the rest of the game. Even if Jolteon gets in safely from a Pokemon fainting or a predicted switch, Snorlax can tank a Thunderbolt and take out Jolteon with Earthquake.

**Exeggutor and Victreebel**: Without Pin Missile, Jolteon cannot take care of Exeggutor as Thunderbolt fails to do a lot of damage to it.

**Paralysis:**: Without Rest, Jolteon cannot get rid of the paralysis which hinders it from sweeping late game and makes it easy for Pokemon like Snorlax to take care of Jolteon.

Mention that Rhydon and Golem's Earthquake OHKOs Jolteon.

Mention that Snorlax, even without Earthquake, still does massive damage to Jolteon with Body Slam and Hyper Beam. And mention that Chansey's Thunder Wave makes Jolteon much easier to handle for her teammates, but Chansey herself almost never wins a prolonged one-on-one.

"Jolteon cannot take care of Exeggutor as Thunderbolt fails to do a lot of damage to it." -> "Jolteon cannot take care of Grass-types as Thunderbolt fails to do a lot of damage to them."

Overall, the content is correct for the most part, but there are some inaccuracies that need to be fixed and overall readability needs a lot of improvement. I want to see how you implement the suggestions first before giving you a check, so make sure to notify me when you do and I'll be back to review this again

**Chansey and Snorlax**: Thanks to Chansey's Special Defense bulk, it can tank Jolteon's Thunderbolt and Double Kick as long as it does doesn't land a critical hit. Then, Chansey can use Thunder Wave to paralyze Jolteon Jolteon, as this makes it easier for Chansey's teammates to take care of it; (SC) as Chansey will lose in the long run against Jolteon. It should never switch into Snorlax, (AC) as Body Slam and Hyper Beam will do a lot of damage to it and cripple Jolteon for the rest of the game. If Jolteon gets in safely from a Pokemon fainting or a predicted switch, Snorlax can tank a Thunderbolt and take out Jolteon with Earthquake.

**Exeggutor and Victreebel**: Without Pin Missile, Jolteon cannot take care of Grass-types Grass-types, as Thunderbolt fails to do a lot of damage to them.

**Paralysis:**: Without Rest, Jolteon cannot get rid of the paralysis paralysis, which hinders it from sweeping late game late-game and makes it easy for Pokemon like Snorlax to take care of Jolteon it.

[OVERVIEW]

Jolteon's has a high Speed stat (RC) and Special stats (RC) and critical chance hit rate that make its Thunderbolt a big threat. Because of this, Jolteon is able to outpace the whole metagame and is one of the few Pokemon that can revenge kill a weakened Tauros. It is also a good lead because of being able its ability to force a lead Starmie to switch out with Thunderbolt and paralyze other leads like Alakazam, Exeggutor, and Jynx with Thunder Wave. Jolteon also has an important defensive niche that allows it to be one of the few Pokemon to take on Zapdos comfortably due to resisting both of its STAB options (RC) and as well as putting put pressure on Water-types like Slowbro and Cloyster with Thunderbolt. While Pokemon like Chansey, Exeggutor, and Alakazam can take Jolteon's Thunderbolt, it can cripple these Pokemon with Thunder Wave. However, outside of its STAB moves move, Jolteon does not have any other good attacking moves, as it only has two good options in Pin Missile and Double Kick, which fail to do major damage outside of a potential critical hit even on super effective targets like Exeggutor and Chansey due to Jolteon's low Attack stat. While Pokemon like Chansey, Exeggutor, and Alakazam can take Thunderbolt from Jolteon, it can cripple these Pokemon with Thunder Wave. Furthermore, Jolteon is unable to deal with Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem, as it cannot do any good damage to them with any of its attacks and gets OHKOed by Earthquake.

Set Description
=========

Thunder Wave allows Jolteon to cripple its defensive checks such as Alakazam, Chansey, and Exeggutor that commonly come in on its Thunderbolt. Thunder Wave It is also good to use against Tauros, as it is no longer a threat once its it's paralyzed because it's can no longer move first. Thunderbolt is a good STAB attack that takes care of Water-types like Starmie and Slowbro and can do a lot of damage to Pokemon that don't resist it if Jolteon lands a critical hit on a Pokemon that does not resist its attack. Double Kick scares out Chansey because (RC) it is 2HKOed on a critical hit, Double Kick 2HKOes by it. Double Kick also allows Jolteon to have a way to get damage on Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem as a last resort, but though Jolteon should switch out on a predicted switch if it predicts them to switch in to help keep damage off of itself and its teammates. Rest allows Jolteon to get HP back and take off cure itself of paralysis, which is useful to use against passive Pokemon like Chansey, Starmie, and Zapdos; (these pokemon aren't exactly passive tbh) however, outside of these Pokemon, Jolteon will find it hard to use Rest, as it the move is more useful late-game, (AC) because this makes and putting Jolteon to sleep allows Tauros able to come in safety because of it being asleep. (if I understood this part properly; reasoning for the late-game thingy still isn't really clear either) Using Pin Missile gives Jolteon a way to deal with Grass-types such as Exeggutor, as it will deal major damage if it lands a critical hit on them. Because of its frail poor bulk, the best way to have Jolteon come in safely is against Pokemon like Chansey, on a predicted switch, or when a Pokemon faints. Jolteon should be saved to use late-game because of its Speed, as it can pick off most weakened Pokemon with Thunderbolt. Jolteon will need Pokemon like Exeggutor and Starmie on the team because it struggles against common Ground-types like Rhydon and Golem. Pokemon that can also help with Snorlax and Tauros like Cloyster and Exeggutor are needed, so Pokemon like Cloyster and Exeggutor make good partners for it.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Jolteon can run Agility to get its Speed back if it gets paralyzed; however, it will have to give up Rest or Pin Missile in order to run it, which makes it lose the ability to hit Exeggutor more effectively with Pin Missile or use Rest to help get HP back on passive Pokemon. Thunder is a more powerful move that allows Jolteon to OHKO Cloyster and Tauros on a critical hit; however, the miss chance and lower PP makes make it hard to justify using it over Thunderbolt or over Rest or Pin Missile. Body Slam can be run over Rest or Pin Missile to try to paralyze Rhydon and Golem on the switch into them as they switch in; however, it is redundant to have otherwise, as Thunder Wave is able to paralyze Pokemon like Alakazam and Exeggutor as is.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Rhydon and Golem**: Both Rhydon and Golem wall Jolteon, as they're immune to Thunderbolt (RC) and Double Kick fails to do any major damage to them, while they OHKO it back with Earthquake.

**Chansey and Snorlax**: Thanks to Chansey's special bulk, it can tank Jolteon's Thunderbolt and Double Kick as long as it the latter doesn't land a critical hit. Then, Chansey can use Thunder Wave to paralyze Jolteon, as this makes it easier for Chansey's teammates to take care of it; however, on its own, Chansey will lose in the long run against Jolteon. It Jolteon should never switch into Snorlax, as Body Slam and Hyper Beam will do a lot of damage to it and cripple Jolteon for the rest of the game.
