[OVERVIEW]
Jumpluff is a niche Pokemon in the PU tier due to its ability to provide utility support for its teammates. Access to a nice Speed tier and great utility moves, makes it an excellent supporter and pivot, with moves such as Sleep Powder, Memento, and U-turn granting more opportunities for teammates to sweep, and separates it from other Grass-types in the tier. Jumpluff also sports a decent typing that gives it an immunity to Toxic Spikes and Spikes and resistances to Water, Fighting, and Grass, though a weakness to Stealth Rock can hamper Jumpluff's longevity. However, Jumpluff's typing also gives it quite a few weaknesses, including a nasty 4x weakness to Ice and 2x weaknesses to Fire and Flying. On top of this, Jumpluff is quite frail and can't do much outside of its support role. Jumpluff also can't afford to hold an item such as Leftovers because it needs a boosted Arcobatics, which even then is very weak due to its abysmal Attack stat. Lastly, despite Jumpluff's good Speed stat, it's in a crowded Speed tier and contends with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Alolan Raichu, Alolan Dugtrio, and Archeops.

Moves
========
U-turn lets Jumpluff pivot out to other team members after it uses Sleep Powder and punish switches from the opponent. Acrobatics is Jumpluff's strongest STAB attack, hitting Fighting- and Grass-type Pokemon such as Passimian, Hitmonchan, and Lilligant quite hard. Sleep Powder eases setup for Jumpluff's teammates and shuts down slower foes such as Mesprit. Memento cripples the foe and provides a teammate such as Carracosta or Zangoose with a setup opportunity. Seed Bomb can be used over Memento to hit bulky Water- and Ground-types such as Lanturn, Carracosta, Golem, and Gastrodon for super effective damage, but Memento is almost always better because Jumpluff is very weak.
Set Details
========
Maximum Speed investment with a Jolly nature allows Jumpluff to outspeed the majority of the tier and Speed tie with other base 110 Speed Pokemon such as Archeops and Alolan Raichu. The remaining EVs are placed into Attack to give Jumpluff somewhat of an offensive presence. No item is used to double Acrobatics's power, and Infiltrator allows Jumpluff to hit Pokemon that commonly run Substitute such as Oricorio-G.
Usage Tips
========
Jumpluff will generally come onto the field a few times and use Sleep Powder or pivot around the opposing team before it uses Memento. Jumpluff should use Sleep Powder to incapacitate slower foes like Mesprit or pivot out on its checks like Ferroseed, with U-turn being used before Memento. Be wary of using Sleep Powder if the opponent has Pokemon such as Ferroseed, as it will ruin your momentum. Try switching Jumpluff in on resisted attacks from passive Pokemon such as Clefairy and Gastrodon, since you can shut them down with Sleep Powder. If the opponent has a Grass-type or you predict an obvious switch to one of Jumpluff's checks like Aggron, use U-turn to keep up momentum. Once Jumpluff is low on health and has supported the team, you can sacrifice it by going for Momento to give free setup to a teammate like Zangoose or Carracosta.
Team Options
========
Jumpluff will likely be doing a good bit of pivoting in and out throughout the match with U-turn, so entry hazard removal is beneficial to ensure it doesn't get worn down. Assault Vest Hitmonchan in particular is a good partner for Jumpluff because it can offensively check Ice-, and Steel-, and Fire-types such as Abomasnow, Aggron, and Choice Scarf Pyroar for Jumpluff. Setup sweepers such as Jynx and Carracosta are also good teammates because they appreciate the Memento support that Jumpluff provides making setup easier. Other Pokemon with Volt Switch or U-turn, pair well with Jumpluff; the likes of Eelektross and Mesprit complete good VoltTurn cores. Eelektross soft checks a lot of special attackers and provides Knock Off support along with ways to deal with Pokemon such as Lanturn and Regirock. Mesprit on the other hand offers Stealth Rock support and a way to check physical attackers. Lastly, Jumpluff struggles immensely with Ice-type Pokemon, so a teammate that can handle Abomasnow such as Pyroar is appreciated.

Other Options
=============
A set with Substitute, Strength Sap, and Leech Seed sounds appealing because it annoys common switch-ins like Aggron and grants unique setup opportunities, but it's super passive and isn't worth using. A Swords Dance set can boost Jumpluff's Attack by two stages but setup opportunities are hard to find and Jumpluff is still pretty weak at +2. Encore would allow Jumpluff to lock the foe into a non-damaging move and force a switch but fitting it into Jumpluff's moves is difficult.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Faster Pokemon**: Faster Choice Scarf users such as Pyroar and Jynx can revenge kill Jumpluff due to its mediocre bulk, with Pyroar easily OHKOing it with Flamethrower and Jynx grabbing an easy OHKO with Ice Beam. Pokemon such as Floatzel and Lycanroc naturally outspeed Jumpluff and can also score easy KOs with Ice Beam and Stone Edge.
**Sleep-immune Pokemon**: Pokemon such as Ferroseed, Magmortar, and Drampa can easily switch into a Sleep Powder because their typing or abilities grant them an immunity to sleep-inducing moves. However, the former has to be at a high amount of HP to threaten Jumpluff, as Acrobatics does a good chunk, especially to Magmortar after Stealth Rock.
**Steel-type Pokemon**: Steel-types check Jumpluff with ease, due to their resistances to both of Jumpluff's STAB moves in Acrobatics and Seed Bomb. Aggron can take any attack from Jumpluff, set up Stealth Rock, or force it out with Head Smash. Ferroseed is immune to Sleep Powder and can set up entry hazards or hit Jumpluff with a powerful Gyro Ball. While these Pokemon check Jumpluff, it is important to note that Jumpluff can pivot out with U-turn or use Memento and setup with a teammate against the latter.
**Ice-type Pokemon**: STAB Ice-type moves coming from Rotom-F and Choice Scarf Jynx are efficient ways to deal with Jumpluff. Ice Shard from Pokemon like Abomasnow can also be very dangerous.
**Stealth Rock**: Stealth Rock strips 25% of Jumpluff's's HP upon switching in and effectively neutralizes the switching Jumpluff can do, especially after using U-turn.
