- Psycho Cut + Psychium Z under Psychic Terrain will OHKO Tomohawk at +0. Note that Tapu Lele is mandatory as a teammate.
- Kartana can run a 3 Attacks + Defog set, consisting of Leaf Blade, Sacred Sword, Knock Off, and Defog, to maximize coverage and Defog utility. Smart Strike could be run, but the other moves would be sorely missed.
- Substitute + Swords Dance takes advantage of bulkier teams but generally isn't worth it due to the omnipresence of defensive titans like Cyclohm, Pyroak, and Tomohawk, who can break apart the Substitute easily during the setup.
