Katrina's got nothing on me! also, i don't give a f*ck about t-spikes :D

so this is basically a gimmick team that does much better then i thought it would, so i wanted some feedback on how i could make it better.

polimario.jpg

Politoed (M) @ Zoom Lens
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Hydro Pump
- Hypnosis
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
so, what's a rain team without politoed? tired of the norm, i decided to give offensive politoed a chance, and i love it. 248 hp ev's give me 383 hit points, which is such a lovely number. hydro pump is basic stab, hypnosis is semi-viable thanks to my zoom lens, and focus miss adds some coverage to my movepool. ands what'ses an ofefensive politoed-- nay, an offensive water type, without ice coverage? i generally lead with poli, as i don't know who else i'd lead with, and most of the teams i fight are rain. although recently i have been trying out leading with lando, but because he's not scarfed it makes me feel a bit uncomforablte.

Wishmaker (Jirachi) @Leftovers
Careful
Serene Grace
252Hp 232Sp.Def 24Spe
-Iron Head
-Wish
-Protect
-Stealth Rock
jirachi is new to my team, but is a much needed addition. iron head is because i'm a flinching bastard, wish is for recovery and passing wishes, duh. protect is different then what i usually see and works very well for me. rocks are needed, as jirachi is -- oh f-ckit. i ain't explaining him more.

moltres.jpg

Tres Equis (Moltres) @ Sharp Beak
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Roost
- Hurricane
- Fire Blast
moltres is a godsend, i never thought i'd say that :P
as the theme of this team is hurricane abuse, molty fits in very well and i beleive can ko ferroo after a leyer or two of spikes with fire blast. sharp beak is great, i can fign being a retard using moltres, and then before my foe realizes, they just got beat by a dumb f*ck with a moltres :D

Garchomp.jpg

Yeah, Bitch! (Garchomp) (M) @Choice Scarf
Jolly
Roguh Skin
252Atk 252Spe
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Aqua Tail
with garchomp's return to ou, it heralds a new etra, an era where one can come out of one's house without getting mugged by genesect, an era of hope. standard choice set, i might replace aqua tail with d-claw so i can use my dragon stab without being f-cked if a steel comes in. :P
scarfchomp is one of my favs, can't you tell? :D

Tornadus-Therian.png

Tornadus-T (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hurricane
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
if you build a hurricane team without torny-t, you need to check yourself into a mental institute. pretty standard, and can pull off some clean 3-4 kills to end the game once the threats and those that resist flying are dead or weakened. i opted for u-turn instead of heat wave as i lead with poli.

Burger.jpg

Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Spikes
- Toxic
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
so i hate running standard forry sets, and as a result go out of my way to think of creative sets. toxic is fun to use, and i recently added it over something else that i forget, volt switch is my attack of choice on all my forries, as it lets me switch after the foe has attacked into my big-ass monsta attacker. spikes and rapid spin are obviously the mafia.

Landorus-Therian.png

Lando Griffin (Landorus-T) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
at first i was skeptical about using lando-t, as it's not exactly my favorite thing to do, come in and intimidate out my foe's physical attacker, but i needed a strong physical sweeper who could learn rocks, so here he is. i very much enjoy predicting a dragon dance and switching in to nullfi the attack boost.

1245088829463.jpg

Dragonite (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 204 HP / 252 Atk / 52 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Superpower
- Thunder
- Hurricane
- Dragon Claw
my take on the mixed life orb attacker, the ev's invested into my special attack are just enough (or a little more, i didn't bother testing after 52.) to land a guarenteed ohko on 4/0 keldeo. plus, i can guarentee a 2hko on jelly with thunder, barring lefties which is retarted becuase jelly tends to only run lefties on his defensive set. i origianalaaly had roost instead of dragon claw, but i found myself needing dragon coverage on multiple occasions, so i replaced it. i might change thunder to e-speed for some priority and revenge killing, but if i did i'd remove my much needed electric coverage and the ability to switch into some certain pokemon like lappy (even though i just r@pe him with superpower anyway) and other polies.
so there it is, i'll just say the original premis was poli 4 hurricane abusers and a spinner (most likely my homie forry), but i decided this would be better.

Hi!

Well, this is a very interesting team.

First off, you have too many ice weaknesses. Nowadays, everyone pokemon and his mom is carrying hidden power ice to pew pew dragons, so an ice weakness is a major problem. You have two 4x weaknesses, and one 2x weakness. This could end badly. The most obvious way to end this is to get rid of both dragonite and landorus-t. There are many other pokemon that can learn stealth rock, and it's not like your team needs ANOTHER hurricane spammer, so I would suggest replacing them with more helpful pokemon. To fill the void of a stealth rocker, I would suggest putting in stealth rock jirachi. He provides stealth rock, flinching, and a wish to keep tornadus-t healthy.

Jirachi @Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Speed | Careful | Serene Grace
~Iron Head
~Wish
~Protect
~Stealth Rock

This is a stealth rock version of a specially defensive jirachi. Iron Head provides STAB and flinching. Wish provides healing for jirachi or another pokemon. Protect is there to get the wish the next turn. Stealth Rock is there because it's stealth rock. Jirachi can easily screw up people by wishing tornadus-t back to full health. Opponents might also predict that it's the common rain spamming calm mind jirachi. The steel type allows it to tank many powerful dragon hits, specifically draco meteors from latios. All in all, jirachi is a great fit for your team.

Now that your dragon is gone, you need another one. You really don't need another special sweeper, so that leaves you with only physical options. Unfortunately, two of your pokemon are weak to electric, and people can spam thunder and thunderbolt on you with impunity. You also lack a revenge killer. This leaves you horribly weak to thundurus-t. The easiest way to fix your electric weakness, lack of a dragon, and lack of a revenge killer would be to add garchomp. Garchomp, once equipped with a choice scarf, outspeeds thundurus-t, landorus-i, and all base 100 scarfers once chomp is scarfed. This allows it to inflict major damage with outrage or earthquake.

445f.gif

Garchomp @Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP | Jolly | Rough Skin
~Outrage
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge
~Dragon Claw / Aqua Tail

Ah, garchomp. Garchomp descends from the uber tier to wreak its havoc upon all the pitied souls that choose to stand against it. Choice Scarf and a jolly nature ensures it will outspeed all scarfers up to base 101 speed as well as hitting 499 speed, enough to outspeed all non-boosted pokemon except for deoxys-s, which is not in OU. Outrage is insanely strong, hitting every frail pokemon for solid damage. Earthquake hits most pokemon that outrage doesn't, providing a nice STAB combo. Stone Edge makes a great combo with earthquake, hitting many flying types super effectively. The final slot is contested. Dragon Claw is a safer alternative to outrage that can be used to clean weakened teams that carry a steel type. Alternatively, aqua tail can be used for a strong attack that is boosted by rain.

These suggestions should help your team a lot, and I think they will make it much better.

Good luck with the team!

~KoB

so i tried out the new changes, and they're working pretty well.

lando was sorta of frail, but jirachi is very nice, and protect really throws off a lot of people. and scarf chomp has always been one of my favorite pokes to use tbh.

i'll update the op with thechanges. anything else?

First off, I'd like to point out that moltres seems....out of place. I really think a LO SD Toxicroak might do better in its place, as the team is wrecked by scarfterrakion bar garchomp, and even it doesnt like taking a cc to the face. Plus, two hurricane spammers is kinda much.

Toxicroak @Life Orb
- Dry Skin -
Jolly
4 hp/ 252 atk/ 252 speed
- Cross chop/ Drain Punch
- Ice punch
- Sucker punch
- Swords dance

feel free to mix and match the evs, but the LO damage will be canceled out by dry skin. this also helps out with any terrakion sets, as well as adding a good taker of opposing rain teams. alternatively, if you would like a more specially inclined poke, keldeo can function great, as it kills the blissey/chansey-like weakness you are inclined towards.

i see baton pass teams and several set-up sweepers giving you trouble, specifically +1 and +2 gyarados, so i think 3 attack toed might do you better. Perish song is a great boon. also, leftovers>zoom lens, as zoom lens, well, the increase isnt all that good anyway.

Politoed @Leftovers
- Drizzle -
Quiet/Modest
248 hp/ 8 def/ 252 SpA
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- HP [Grass]
- Perish Song

with the arrival of either keldeo or toxicroak, focus blast isnt needed, as both wreck tyranitar. hp grass hits bulky waters better, as well as 2-3hkoing gastrodon, who walls this team to hell and back.

lastly, i think you can replace protect<thunder wave on jirachi. the paralysis support is so beneficial, its not even funny. it stop so many things its just so great. protect is just asking to be set up on.

o, also, now you replaced moltres, i dont believe forry is needed anymore, but its your call on what to replace it with. gl with your team :)
