move 4: Secret Sword
item: Waterium Z
ability: Justified
nature: Timid

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves
========
Taunt allows Keldeo to stop opposing walls like Mantine and Toxapex from removing its stat boosts with Haze and prevents Pokemon like Mandibuzz from Defogging, using recovery moves, and using status moves to wear it down. Calm Mind boosts Keldeo's wallbreaking power and allows it to take on walls like Celesteela and Zapdos after just one boost. Hydro Pump is Keldeo's most powerful STAB move and is capable of hitting defensive Pokemon like Mega Sableye, Zapdos, and Gliscor very hard. Secret Sword is used as Keldeo's secondary STAB attack that pressures specially defensive Pokemon like Gastrodon and Chansey.

Set Details
========
Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack with a Timid nature allows Keldeo to hit as hard and fast as possible. Waterium Z allows Keldeo to use a powerful nuke in Hydro Vortex that can KO walls like Mega Sableye, Celesteela, and Zapdos. 4 Special Defense EVs cause Download users to boost in Attack rather than Special Attack, which is useful against Download Porygon2, as it allows Keldeo to take more hits from it.

Usage Tips
========
Keldeo should ideally be used to blow holes through the enemy team so that its teammates can clean up, so taking out key walls like Mega Sableye and Zapdos is very important. Try to bluff a Choice Specs or Choice Scarf set in certain situations so that you can potentially force out opposing Pokemon, allowing you to get a free turn to set up Calm Mind. This set excels at stopping common walls like Toxapex and Mantine from using Haze to remove stat boosts, recovering health, and using status moves to hinder Keldeo's usefulness. Be sure to use Taunt on an incoming wall so that you can either force it out or KO it more easily. Doing this allows you to deal with Pokemon like Celesteela and Mandibuzz more easily, preventing them from using status moves, allowing Keldeo to get more Calm Mind boosts. You can also do this on naturally forced switches or on passive Pokemon like Mega Sableye that can't do any significant damage to Keldeo. Avoid getting afflicted with any form of status ailment, as they wear down Keldeo throughout the match and can limit the number of times Keldeo can come in. Try to preserve Keldeo's Z-Move for use on a wall like Celesteela that your team struggles to beat, as you don't want to waste it on a Pokemon that could have been KOed by one of Keldeo's teammates. Picking apart defensive cores with Keldeo's Z-Move allows it to become as effective as possible, and this is especially important against types like Flying, which rely on their defensive cores to function properly.

Team Options
========
The entire team appreciates Keldeo's ability to stallbreak walls like Toxapex, Mantine, and Celesteela and prevent them from healing or inflicting status ailments. Mega Gallade appreciates Keldeo's ability to take care of Pokemon like Mega Sableye, which otherwise make Gallade's job harder. In return, Mega Gallade breaks down troublesome walls like Mega Venusaur and Jellicent for Keldeo, which usually can't force these Pokemon out. Terrakion works very well with Keldeo, as it can revenge kill threats like Tornadus-T, Mega Pidgeot, and Tapu Koko with a Choice Scarf set. Keldeo in return gets rid of walls like Celesteela and Mega Sableye so that Terrakion can have an easier time cleaning. Cobalion supports Keldeo with Stealth Rock and by slowing down threats like Greninja with Thunder Wave. It also uses its Steel typing and decent defenses to help take hits from Fairy- and Psychic-type attacks from Pokemon like Mega Diancie and Latios for Keldeo. Breloom provides support with its ability to put opposing Pokemon to sleep, allowing Keldeo to find more opportunities to set up Calm Mind. Buzzwole and Heracross both help revenge kill Psychic-types like Celebi and Mega Latios with their Bug-type STAB moves. Buzzwole, in particular, has good coverage moves in Earthquake and Ice Punch, which help get rid of checks to Keldeo like Tapu Koko after Stealth Rock damage and always force out Landorus-T. Heracross, on the other hand, helps Pursuit trap Choice-locked Pokemon like Choice Scarf Victini, which is a threat to Keldeo. Lucario is another wallbreaker that appreciates Keldeo's ability to break through walls like Celesteela and Mantine. In return, it can help take care of Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Diancie for Keldeo.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]

Other Options
=============

Fighting
--------
Keldeo can run Scald with Leftovers so that it has a better form of passive recovery and longevity in the fight. This is also normally run if you want to use this set alongside Kommo-o, which relies on the Z-Move in order to do well.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fighting
--------
**Water-immune Pokemon**: Pokemon with the ability Storm Drain or Water Absorb such as Gastrodon and Mantine can usually switch safely into Keldeo, but Mantine fears the 2HKO from Hidden Power Electric. These Pokemon, however, must be wary of stallbreaker Keldeo, as it generally forces out these Pokemon.

**Bulky Water-types**: Toxapex, and Mantine both resist Keldeo's STAB moves and wear Keldeo down with status moves. The stallbreaker set forces out these Pokemon, however.

- im sure this is just a mistake from accidentally clicking sacred sword in the teambuilder but throw the 4 attack into spdef
- mention that hydro pump is keldeos stab. porygon2 is also a poor example of what hydro pump can hit over secret sword considering secret sword hits porygon2 harder and hydro pump can miss
* Taunt allows Keldeo to stop opposing walls like Mantine and Mandibuzz from Defogging or using recovery moves.
- fix the typo

Usage Tips
----------------
* Be sure to use Taunt before using your Z-move on a wall, as you don't want to waste it on a Pokemon that can take the attack.
- im iffy on this. like say i have my zapdos out vs a set up keldeo. id want to use discharge / volt switch on it over roosting to deal some damage and fish for a para and the keldeo may want to attack me to try to knock me out before i can get an attack off especially if they have their z move intact or if zapdos is chipped
- therefore, id probably separate this into 2 bullets: one talking about when to use taunt and one talking about when to successfully launch z hydro pump
- in the taunt bullet, i think you should mention how using taunt stops haze users such as mantine from wiping its boosts away and pokemon such as celesteela from clicking status moves to cripple keldeo especially since you talk about keldeo hating being inflicted with status earlier on in the analysis

Team Options
----------------
- keldeo doesnt really struggle with staraptor at all. hydro pump pretty much knocks staraptor out after rocks chip / a calm mind boost while choice scarf staraptor sees negative usage
- talk about choice scarf terrakion in particular as a partner to keldeo as it can revenge kill stuff that keldeo hates dealing with such as tapu koko mega diancie and tornadus t while serving as speed control for the rest of the team, considering terrakion and keldeo are fightings primary scarfers. you already imply that the terrakion is choice scarfed seeing as you mention it revenge killing tornadus t either way

Other Options
----------------
- i think scald with leftovers deserves a mention here

* Keldeo can use Taunt and Calm Mind to become a Stallbreaker and take advantage of passive Pokemon such as x and x to become a dangerous setup sweeper.

[SET]
name: Stallbreaker (Fighting)
move 1: Hydro Pump
move 2: Secret Sword
move 3: Calm Mind
move 4: Taunt
item: Waterium Z / Leftovers
ability: Justified
nature: Timid
evs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

The reason I have you remove leftovers is in the case you are running Z Kommo-o it should only be running Scald+Leftys, which is in the Other Options section. So having it here is unnecessary. Also, I rearranged the order of the moves.

[SET COMMENTS]

Moves
========
* Hydro Pump is used to wallbreak defensive walls like Mega Sableye and Zapdos.
- its not just used to break walls, it is its most powerful attack and would be using it over secret sword unless its against a specific target.

* Secret Sword is used as Keldeo’s secondary STAB attack that hits specially defensive Pokemon harder thanks to its scaling damage to the physical defense stat rather than the special attack stat.
- this is awkwardly phrased, not like grammar wise but content wise. talk about it allowing Keldeo to take on Specially Defensive walls such as x and x or something like that.

* Calm Mind boosts Keldeo’s attacking power and allows it to be able to take on walls like Celesteela. This also allows you to take some hits better from special attacking revenge killers like Gengar.
- would just focus on how calm mind just makes it a better wallbreaker, as while the spd boost is nice, that isn't the reason you are using it. maybe give an example of what +1 x attack can do like OHKO zapdos w/ z hydro pump

* Taunt allows Keldeo to stop opposing walls like Mantine and Mandibuzz from Defogging or using recovery moves.
- also, mention taunts ability to prevent it from being toxic poisoned or paralyzed. pretty much just statused.

Set Details
========
* Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack with a Timid nature allow Keldeo to hit as hard and fast as possible.
* Waterium Z allows Keldeo to use a powerful 185 BP nuke in Hydro Vortex.
- give examples of what hydro vortex can nuke for fighting teams.

* 4 SpD so download users get an attack boost, can be helpful vs discharge porygon2

* Leftovers can be used over Waterium Z on Keldeo in the event that Kommo-o is on the same team like it. This allows you to have a passive recovery while still being a dangerous wallbreaker.
- again this is in oo

Usage Tips
========
* Keldeo should ideally be used to poke holes through the enemy team so that its teammates can clean up, so taking out key walls like Mega Sableye and Zapdos is very important.
* Keldeo can force out opposing Pokemon by bluffing a Choice Specs or Choice Scarf, allowing you to get a free turn to set up Calm Mind.
- make this sound more like a usage tip

* This set excels at punishing common Defog users like Mandibuzz and Mantine from using Defog to remove your rocks, prevent them from recovering health, and stop them from using status moves to hinder Keldeo’s usefulness.
* Be sure to use Taunt on an incoming Defogger or wall so that you can either force them out or KO them easier. Doing this allows you to deal with Pokemon like Celesteela and Toxapex easier as you prevent them from using status moves on you, allowing you to get more Calm Mind boosts.

* other appropriate times to setup cm & also when its better to just attack instead of setting up

* Try to preserve your Z-move on a wall that your team struggles to beat such as x, as you don't want to waste it on a Pokemon that could have been KO'd from one of your assisting Pokemon.
* Avoid getting any form of status ailment, as they wear down your effectiveness throughout the match and can limit the amount of times Keldeo can come in.

* talk about using keldeo in the flying matchup, this can really break apart flyings defensive core nicely. i think a type matchup usage tip could be neat for this usage tips section.

Team Options
========
* The entire team appreciates Keldeo's ability to stallbreak Pokemon like Toxapex and prevent them from passing around status ailments.
* Mega Gallade

* Terrakion works very well with Keldeo as it can revenge kill threats to Keldeo like Tornadus-T, Mega Pidgeot, and Tapu Koko with a Choice Scarf set. Keldeo in return gets rid of walls like Celesteela and Mega-Sableye so that Terrakion can have an easier time sweeping cleaning.
- cleaning is the proper term for a scarfer since sweeping implies it has set up

* Kommo-o is an amazing sweeper that appreciates Keldeo's ability to act as a stallbreaker so that it can run more moves like Dragon Dance or a separate coverage move to further sweep opposing teams.
- honestly, idk if kommo should be a teammate if you are using a zmove keldeo. ask another QC abt this

* Cobalion supports Keldeo with Stealth Rocks and slowing down threats like Greninja with Thunder Wave. It also uses its Steel-typing and decent defenses to help take hits for Keldeo.
- give examples of what it can tank for keldeo

* Breloom provides support in its ability to put opposing Pokemon to sleep, allowing Keldeo to find more opportunities to set up Calm Mind.
* Buzzwole and Heracross both help revenge kill Psychic-Types with their Bug-type STAB moves. Buzzwole, in particular, has good coverage moves in Earthquake and Ice Punch as it helps get rid of checks to Keldeo like Tapu Koko after Stealth Rock damage and always forces out Landorus-T. Heracross on the other hand, helps Pursuit trap choice locked Pokemon like Latios and Choice Scarf Victini, who would both serve as threats to Keldeo.

* SD Lucario

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Fighting
--------
* Keldeo can run Scald with Leftovers if one is worried about both Hydro Pump's shaky accuracy and not using a Z-move on Kommo-o.
- rephrase this like for content again. talk about how Leftovers allows it to have some minor form of recovery and not be like slowly chipped down by like Toxapex or Mantine's Scald when trying to setup. Also mention how Leftovers allows you to use Z Kommo-o.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fighting
--------
**Toxapex**: Toxapex resists both of Keldeo's STAB types and can fish for burns with Scald while recovering off any damage Keldeo would do to it.
- merge this into Bulky Water-types

**Water-immune Pokemon**: Pokemon with the ability Storm Drain or Water Absorb such as Gastrodon, Jellicent, and Mantine can usually switch safely into Keldeo, but Mantine fears the 2HKO from Hidden Power Electric.

**Bulky Water-types**: Slowbro and Tapu Fini both resist Keldeo's STAB moves and the latter can't be burned by Scald because of Misty Surge, but neither likes being hit by Hidden Power Electric.

for all of these, I would like you to mention how it can disrupt them with Taunt + CM.

Thanks Decem! :blobcouple:

This check was implemented and the analysis was written up.

This is now ready for a final QC check!

Moves:
- Taunt is most important for blocking Haze really followed by recovery. Defog is nice but shouldn't be the first reason.

Usage Tips:
- I think more focus should be put on Taunting Haze users

Rest looks good QC 3/3

Nice job overall. Be careful about making sure that each suggestion you make is actually necessary - there are some suggestions you made that probably didn't make much of a difference. Also, while your grammar edits were generally correct, you missed a lot of opportunities to fix and improve prose. Be careful about word use, and about making sure that verb conjugations match sentence subjects appropriately.

Moves
========
Taunt allows Keldeo to stop opposing walls like Mantine and Toxapex from Hazing its stat boosts, as well as preventing and prevents mons Pokemon like Mandibuzz from Defogging, using recovery moves, and using status moves to wear it down. Calm Mind boosts Keldeo'(straight apostrophe)s wallbreaking power and allows it to be able to (redundant) take on walls like Celesteela and Zapdos after just one boost. Hydro Pump is Keldeo's most powerful STAB move and is capable of hitting defensive Pokemon like Mega Sableye, Zapdos, and Gliscor very hard. Secret Sword is used as Keldeo'(straight apostrophe)s secondary STAB attack that pressures specially defensive Pokemon like Gastrodon and Chansey.

Set Details
========
Maximum investment in Speed and Special Attack with a Timid nature allows (don't miss this, the subject of this sentence is 'investment') Keldeo to hit as hard and be as fast as possible. Waterium Z allows Keldeo to use a powerful nuke in Hydro Vortex. This allows Keldeo to KO walls like Mega Sableye, Celesteela, and Zapdos. 4 SpD investment is important on Keldeo as it allows it to force forces causes (I don't think forces is the best word here, i'd rather say 'causes') Download users to boost in attack Attack rather than special attack Special Attack. This is useful against Download Porygon2's as it allows Keldeo to live more moves hits from it.

Usage Tips
========
Keldeo should ideally be used to poke blow (poke holes seems to be underestimating keldeo's wallbreaking/stallbreaking abilities) holes through the enemy team so that its teammates can clean up, so taking out key walls like Mega Sableye and Zapdos is very important. Try to bluff a Choice Specs or Choice Scarf set in certain situations so that you can potentially force out opposing Pokemon, (AC) allowing you to get a free turn to set up Calm Mind. This set excels at punishing common walls like Toxapex and Mantine from using Haze to remove your stat boosts, preventing them from recovering health(RC) and stopping them from using status moves to hinder Keldeo'(add apostrophe)s usefulness. Be sure to use Taunt on an incoming wall so that you can either force them out or KO them easier. Doing this allows you to deal with Pokemon like Celesteela and Mandibuzz easier more easily, (AC) as you preventing them from using status moves on you, allowing you Keldeo to get more Calm Mind boosts. You can also do this on naturally forced switches or on passive Pokemon like Mega Sableye that don't can't do anything any significant damage to Keldeo. Avoid getting any form of status ailment, as they wear down your effectiveness Keldeo ("You" and "Your" usually mean the player/reader, not the Pokemon) throughout the match and can limit the amount number of times Keldeo can come in. Try to preserve your Z-move Z-Move for use on a wall like Celesteela that your team struggles to beat, as you don't want to waste it on a Pokemon that could have been KO'd from one of your assisting Pokemon KOed by one of Keldeo's teammates. Picking apart defensive cores with your Z-move Z-Move allows Keldeo to become as effective as possible, and this is especially important for types like Flying who which rely on their defensive cores to function properly.

Team Options
========
The entire team appreciates Keldeo's ability to stallbreak Pokemon walls like Toxapex, Mantine, and Celesteela and prevent them from healing or passing around inflicting status ailments. Mega Gallade appreciates Keldeo's ability to take care of Pokemon like Mega Sableye, (AC) who which otherwise make Gallade's job harder. In return, Mega Gallade breaks down troublesome walls like Mega-Venusaur (remove hyphen) Mega Venusaur and Jellicent for Keldeo, (AC) who which usually can't force these Pokemon out. Terrakion works very well with Keldeo as it can revenge kill threats to Keldeo like Tornadus-T, Mega Pidgeot, and Tapu Koko with a Choice Scarf set. Keldeo in return gets rid of walls like Celesteela and Mega Sableye so that Terrakion can have an easier time cleaning. Cobalion supports Keldeo with Stealth Rocks Rock and by slowing down threats like Greninja with Thunder Wave. It also uses its Steel typing (remove hyphen) and decent defenses to help take hits from Fairy- and Psychic-type attacks from Pokemon like Mega Diancie and Latios for Keldeo. Breloom provides support in with its ability to put opposing Pokemon to sleep, allowing Keldeo to find more opportunities to set up Calm Mind. Buzzwole and Heracross both help revenge kill Psychic-types (decapitalize) like Celebi and Mega Latios with their Bug-type STAB moves. Buzzwole, (AC) in particular, (AC) has good coverage moves in Earthquake and Ice Punch, (AC) as it which helps (subject is now 'moves') get rid of checks to Keldeo like Tapu Koko after Stealth Rock damage and always forces out Landorus-T. Heracross, (AC) on the other hand, it helps Pursuit trap Choice-(add hyphen)locked Pokemon like Choice Scarf Victini, who would both serve as threats which is a threat to Keldeo. Lucario is another wallbreaker that appreciates Keldeo's ability to break through walls like Celesteela and Mantine. In return, (AC) it can help take care of Pokemon like Mega Venusaur and Mega Diancie for Keldeo.

Keldeo can run Scald with Leftovers so that it has a better form of passive recovery and longevity in the fight. This is also normally run if you want to use this set alongside Kommo-o, (AC) who which relies on the Z-move Z-Move in order to do well on the type.

Checks and Counters
===================

Fighting
--------
**Water-immune Pokemon**: Pokemon with the ability Storm Drain or Water Absorb such as Gastrodon and Mantine can usually switch safely into Keldeo, but Mantine fears the 2HKO from Hidden Power Electric. These Pokemon, (AC) however, (AC) must be wary of Stallbreaker Keldeo, as it generally forces out these Pokemon.

**Bulky Water-types**: Toxapex, (RC) and Mantine both resist Keldeo's STAB moves and wear Keldeo down with status moves. The Stallbreaker set forces out these Pokemon, (AC) however.
