[OVERVIEW]
Fighting
========
Keldeo stands out as the best special attacker on Fighting teams because of its high base Special Attack, good Speed tier, and great offensive typing. Its strong special attacks let Keldeo take out physically defensive walls for its teammates, most notably Skarmory. Keldeo's access to Secret Sword allows it to deal more damage to specially defensive walls like Gastrodon. Thanks to its Water typing and powerful special attacks, Keldeo is the only viable Fighting-type that can deal with Choice Specs Kingdra in rain and +2 offensive Mega Scizor. However, the lack of coverage options outside of Hidden Power Ghost and Icy Wind leaves Keldeo unable to hit many Pokemon for super effective damage. Keldeo's Speed tier allows it to outpace Garchomp and base 100 Speed foes like Mega Charizard Y and Choice Band Victini, although its average bulk makes it weak to revenge killing from faster threats like Thundurus and Latios.

[SET COMMENTS]
Secret Sword deals more damage to special walls such as Gastrodon, Chansey, and Bronzong. Scald is the most spammable special attack on this set, and it can fish for burns to cripple physical attackers like Mega Scizor and Mega Heracross and some of its checks such as Mega Venusaur and Tornadus-T. Choice Specs-boosted Hydro Pump can OHKO Mega Heracross after prior chip damage and 2HKO specially defensive Zapdos. Focus Blast OHKOes physically defensive Rotom-W, Mega Garchomp, and offensive Mega Scizor after Stealth Rock and 2HKOes Slowbro after Stealth Rock. Keldeo prefers having dual its Water-type STAB combination over Focus Blast for reliability. Hidden Power Ghost allows Keldeo to hit Jellicent and all relevant Psychic-types, bar Meloetta, 2HKOing Slowbro, Latias, Latios, and Celebi. Icy Wind targets Dragon-types like Dragonite and Mega Garchomp and can catch Choice Specs Latios as it switches in, lowering its Speed enough for Keldeo to attack once more. Choice Specs maximizes Keldeo's potential as a wallbreaker and revenge killer, allowing it to 2HKO physically defensive Rotom-W after Stealth Rock with Secret Sword.
Keldeo opens up opportunities for Heracross, Terrakion, and Hawlucha by taking out physical walls such as Skarmory and Hippowdon with its powerful special attacks. Keldeo can deal with Pokemon that sweep through the rest of Fighting teams like Choice Specs Kingdra in rain and offensive Mega Scizor. Hawlucha utilizes its Flying-type STAB moves to check bulky Grass-types like Mega Venusaur and Celebi. Mega Gallade can tank attacks from fast Psychic-types like Choice Scarf Latias, Deoxys-S, and Alakazam and retaliate with Knock Off and Shadow Sneak. Choice Scarf Heracross works as a revenge killer that checks slower Psychic-types like Celebi and Choice Specs Latios. Terrakion can check Flying-types like Tornadus-T and Mega Pinsir with Stone Edge. Cobalion provides some of the most vital support for Keldeo; it can set Stealth Rock, spread paralysis with Thunder Wave, and either check Mega Diancie with Iron Head or pivot with Volt Switch. Breloom offers decent utility by checking slower Water-types such as Slowbro and Swampert. Presuming its Focus Sash is intact, Breloom can use Spore to force out threats like Hawlucha.

**Bulky Grass-types**: Thanks to Thick Fat and its fantastic bulk, Mega Venusaur can easily switch into any of Keldeo's attacks and force it out. Celebi sports decent bulk and resists Keldeo's STAB moves, so it can tank at least one hit and retaliate with Giga Drain.
**Psychic-types**: Faster Psychic-types like Latios, Deoxys-S, and Alakazam can OHKO Keldeo. Latios in particular can still check Keldeo after switching into any of its moves, bar Icy Wind.
**Flying-types**: Flying-types such as Hawlucha and Tornadus-T can outspeed and often OHKO Keldeo. Assault Vest Tornadus-T can also pivot into any of Keldeo's moves and recover lost HP with Regenerator.
**Electric-types**: Faster Electric-types like Thundurus, Choice Scarf Magnezone, and Expert Belt Heliolisk can OHKO Keldeo.
**Fairy-types**: Fairy-types such as Choice Scarf Gardevoir and Mega Diancie can outspeed and OHKO Keldeo.
**Status**: Paralysis is the most annoying status condition for Keldeo, since the drop in Speed will limit its ability to function as a wallbreaker and revenge killer severely. Burn and Toxic poison will put Keldeo on a timer, as it lacks any form of recovery and may allow special walls like Gastrodon and Zapdos to outlast it.
